Very tasty food and great service

Really good sushi! And Miso soup.

Ordered an item for pickup off their menu online- got the food and order was totally different than what was stated online.

I needed to take my medication and I forgot my water bottle at home by they were kind enough to give me a cup of water. I ll come back here to eat one day

Salmon lover combo is low quality The fish was not very fresh or tasty The spicy salmon roll was overcooked and very dry Food : 3/5

Always fresh, sashimi is cut perfectly and tastes amazing. Best place so far for sushi and sashimi. They use a very light soya that is not too salty and service is friendly. I always order the mixed platter of sushi and sashimi snd it s a nice mix. I gladly recommend this place.

Their sushi is fresh and that we loved how the rice around the rolls were not overdone.

The tuna hand roll I had was OK for the price, but the tuna was not the highest quality.

Sushi was ok. But they are cheap. They didn t even sent me chop sticks or anything to eat with. Very poor and bad service.

Tokyo Sushi is one of the best sushi places in the area! Food is delicious (especially recommend steamed shrimp shumai), staff is friendly and respectful, portions are perfectly sized, and the orders are quick for both dining in and take out. If you have not been here yet, definitely try this restaurant

Always friendly and the fish is fresh.

My main point of comparison for quick sushi is always Kibo. Unfortunately this place falls short of that taste for me. Bur to be fair, their serving size and pricing is better. Food : 4/5

Amazing food and service

Yum yum yum! Food was great dine-in and even take-away. The service was prompt and attentive. Everything was presented neat and fresh!

I waited for a long time to get seated; 7-8 minutes after I ordered, I was told that they dont have the item I asked for. Then, they completely forgot about the green tea I ordered. On top of that, I was charged for the item that they did not have. I got a refund in cash, so theres that, at least. Food there is not bad, but my visit was ruined by the service

This place is aesthetically pleasing and traditional. The staff are very polite, but we waited a long time for a check because we didnt know we had to ask for it. The food is average. I dont recommend tuna sashimi, the tuna quality was not great. The spicy tuna roll is alright, nothing special. Tempura typical.

Ive always had great experience and delicious food from this Tokyo Sushi location. The staff is lovely and welcoming, all my little preferences for preparation are well catered for - its the details and warmth that matters and has made me a regular here. This restaurant offers great value for money and offers lunch specials even on weekends. Its a great Japanese restaurant for a casual meal with the family. Another advantage is that you can park at No Frill across the street.

I m sorry but I have to leave one star. I just came in today wanted to have some sushi. I was offered a sit without any greetings. They just gave me a menu and they left me for about 10 to 15 minutes, while other customer came to take it to go, and they were taking their order - complete ignoring me, just because I was by myself.. the waitress didn t even Try to offer me some drinks, water , or tea, never had such a poor customer experience.. than, I just decided to leave, as I won t pay even one cent for such a bad service .. good ti know, not ti visit this place again..

We were very fortunate to enjoy an excellent New Years Day family dinner with a variety of delicious cooked dishes, sushi and sashimi. Everything was very good including delicate tempura batter and well seasoned sushi rice. Quality, value and wonderful hosts!

Ordered and picked up a medium sushi tray. When we got home we realized they gave us the wrong tray. We called and they delivered the right tray but insisted they take the wrong tray back! It freaks me out that they maybe using the food from the wrong order that sat our place for over an hour - we didnt open it or touch it - but yikes. Moving on to another sushi restaurant...

This was our first time ordering from here and it definitely won t be the last! Very pleased with our food, very fresh, delivery was quick! We loved our appetizers.. would highly recommend the vegetable tempura, and the dynamite sushi dinner was excellent. Presentation was also a bonus!

Great experience overall, the couple who runs the place seems to genuinely love the business and you can tell by the care they put into their food. Went in for dinner recently and it was so good I had to get takeout for the family later in the week.

So glad we gave this place a try when looking for a sushi spot on gg maps. We got miso soup, avocado salad, eel maki, lobster roll, and ice cream mochi. All were super tasty and the price was sooo reasonable! Will definitely be back!

We ve tried a few different sushi spots around the area, but Tokyo Sushi is hands down the best. We come here regularly, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure we always feel welcome, and are taken care of. Great food, great staff!

I previously gave this place 5 stars. But having ordered the same platter many times before I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering again from this place. The 45 pc tray was supposed to have the spicy salmon roll and instead they substituted it with cheap cucumber and and imitation crab. What a rip off. Lost a long time customer. The first photo was what it used to be. The second is how they substituted most recently the spicy salmon for cucumber. Also there was just one Unagi piece instead of two. Looks like they want to short change customers even the regulars.

The service was great! They greeted us with a smile and then place is warm, clean and inviting. The food was good. We ordered Maki dinner A which was 3 types of rolls with 24 rolls in total. They were Spicy crunch salmon roll (10pcs), California roll (6pcs), and salmon & avocado roll (6pcs) and served with salad and miso soup. I hope there were pictures in the menu. It was hard for us to visuals what s in the packages and took us a little bit more time to decide what to order. We ask for photos but the server only showed us look a like photos in the internet. The wasabi we had was on the lighter side. I didn t feel the smack i usually expect. The amount of food for the price i think is reasonable. We definitely like the simple presentation in an open plate or wood plank. Will come here again or order a party package.

Friendly service and very tasty food, accompanied by a warm atmosphere. Had the Family Combo A for two with enough to take home as well. The fish was fresh, maki rolls were delicious and not too over stuffed, tempura had just the right breading, and the bulgogi was cooked just right and very savoury. Would definitely recommend.

The quality of the sushi is so fresh and clean tasting! We ordered the sushi, sashimi and rolls platter which was a really good deal. Great variety of standard rolls, sushi and sashimi. It also comes with a salad which is nice. Also tried the spicy seaweed salad and it had an addicting sweet/spicy mix. Definitely a must try for good quality sushi at a good price!

I had the soft shell crab but there was so much batter, hardly any crab. The spicy salmon is tasted terrible because there was hardly any salmon. There were fried crispy fillings mixed with very little salmon

The butter fish sashimi (white tuna) was semi- fresh but the tuna belly quite mushy and off tasting/ fishy. The tobiko was the best, but $$$ at $5/ piece. I lived at Yonge- Finch 6 years where almost every restaurant is good quality so you don t mind the price. May give this a second try but probably not. Not exactly a friendly vibe here

Boy that was disappointing Ordered chriashi and sushi sashimi dinner. (Both together came to about 45$..) The rice tasted undercooked (a bit hard) and the California roll was the smallest sliver of shredded crab meat Ive ever seen The sashimi in both dishes looked half the size Ive seen at most other sushi places The side dishes ? Forget about it. The miso soup was really watered down and the salad came with what I could only guess to be Kung Pao sweet and sour THICK sauce. Not sure how this place got such high reviews maybe its better dine in. (Altho smelled like those cheap air freshener aerosol sprays gave me a headache waiting for my food) Parking: Parking was in the back

If I could I would give them 0 ! This place is horrible, the salmons weren t fresh. We spent $60 on 3 rolls, 2 miso and 2 seaweed salads and definitely not worth it at all! Save your money and don t go there. My boyfriend and I got sick and we still are after dinning there!

This is my go to sushi place. The fish is always fresh and they don t have a lot of rice in the rolls. I have always had very good customer service, and they always get my order correct and they even throw in extras for large orders. Would highly recommend in the area!

Always skeptical about trying new sushi spots but was more than happy with Tokyo Sushi Ordered the Sushi + Sashimi + Rolls (Medium) and it was more than enough for two people. Came with a salad and small japchae as well. The rice texture for the rolls and sushi was great. The quality of fish was also great, presentation and variety was above expectations. I ordered this for takeout while in the area, if I lived closer this would definitely be my go to sushi spot.

My wife and my go-to place for sushi. Weve ordered the maki/sushi/sashimi boat about 20 times now, and it has never failed to disappoint. Fresh and good quality seafood. Very fast and friendly service.

Ordered from here today and it was delicious and quick! We had the lunch bento boxes (teriyaki and sushi) and a spicy crab roll and it was all amazing. We will be back!

My toddler was begging for Sushi and our usual spot was closed so we tried Tokyo Sushi.... short story... we found our new sushi spot. Delicious sushi, fresh, generous, flavorful. The menu is excellent with so options of maki nigiri and sashimi. We ordered medium rolls and it was tons of food for our family served with salad and noodles. The owners were very accommodating, friendly and genuine. We will be back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I order from here frequently using UberEats or regular take out, and I love it. The staff are so friendly and kind. They are also very quick to prepare. The portions are big, taste great, and I think are priced very cheap! I would highly recommend, as the experience there is consistently 5 stars

Very generous with miso soup and Korean noodles. We ordered on Skip. It was prepared very quickly and soup was piping hot. Flavour was okay, rice a bit gummy on our maki.

For the first time a sushi place that is on par to my fav spot sushi on bloor. Their sushi is good but the value is unbelievable, and by that I mean price to quality ratio. Seems like a family run business with grandma often serving the food and she is always super polite. Occasionally they threw in extras with the order during the pandemic. Since finding out about this place I have been visiting once every 1-2 weeks on average, its a 10 minute drive for me.

I generally only post reviews when a restaurant goes above and beyond. Tokyo Sushi fits the bill. Super friendly service, making sure everything was just right with our take-out order, even helping bringing everything to the car. The ice pack for the sashimi tray ensured that the fish was still nice and cold which was key on this 36 degree Celsius day. Couldn t ask for better take-out sushi. Definitely became my go to in the South Etobicoke area.

Worst sushi experience we had.

Best Sushi. I m a stones throw from >10 sushi restaurants, tried them all. Never actually been to Tokyo Sushi, Queensway, (delivery instead) their product is phenomenal. I almost always order the same thing. Sashimi appetizer thick cut slices of salmon, tuna and whitefish, spider roll (they put unagi on top, no one else does it s awesome, then salmon roll-u can add cucumber and avocado no extra cost. My favorite at least once a week dinner.

This hidden gem on queensway is one of the best sushi places in the area. They are quick and efficient and the quality and freshness of food is remarkable. We went there last night as well and they were almost ready to close. But the owner Grace was really so welcoming and served us so graciously. She is so warm and kind. We eat out pretty often and I must say that the warm and friendly service as well quality of food served here surpasses all other restaurants. This is the 3rd time we went there and I totally recommend this place

Ive had a hard time finding a good takeout Japanese restaurant since we moved to the area. We wanted takeout and Tokyo Sushi was on Uber Eats so we decided to try it. Incredible sushi! We have ordered from here multiple times and the sushi always comes so fresh, and they are able to sometimes makes substitutions if needed. The preparation is always so fast with a delicious result.

Customer service is outstanding. I noticed an item was missing from my Uber Eats delivery and called Tokyo Sushi directly. Waiter (Alan) confirmed kitchen indeed forgot to prepare one my items, apologized, and personally delivered the missing item while adding some few extras for the inconvenience. Sushi is also very good, fish is fresh, and makis and rolls are not overstuffed with rice. Will definitely order again!

Did a walk in order they r practicing social distancing. Ordered a dynamite maki. The wrapping could have been tighter. Hate when it falls apart when u pick it up with chopsticks. Overall was yummy!!

The spicy tuna roll was delicious and had just the right amount of rice on the outside (not to thick!). I had a special request which they accommodated and even gave me a little extra! The best sushi in Etobicoke!

This place is so delicious! Ive had a few sushi + rolls party trays and Ive never regretted it! Their portions are amazing and I want to drown in their miso soup! Ive wanted to post pictures... but by that time, weve already finished more than half the tray with my friends haha. Definitely will be coming back for more!
