I have been to Chiang Mai Danforth several times before and the experience has always been excellent. This was my first time at the park lawn location and the experience was also excellent. Our servers name was Alex and he was amazing! He was very friendly, attentive, and patient. He gave great recommendations when we had trouble deciding what to eat. I decided to get the crispy chicken starter and beef pad see ew. My friend had the calamari and crispy chicken. She took her pad thai (her favorite) to go. The food was fresh, flavorful and overall very delicious. Service was efficient as we received our food very quickly. The stand out for me was the pad see ew. Alex recommended this one and he was on point with this. Pad see ew is one of my favorite thai dishes but I usually get pad thai when I go to Chiang Mai. However, this time I wanted something different. The pad see ew here was phenomenal! It exceeded expectations. I will definitely get this dish again. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will definitely return. I highly recommend! A++++

What an experience! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lively and friendly. But the true highlight of the night was the exceptional service - especially from Omar. Initially, we ran into a few issues with our orders, but Omar, who wasn t even our assigned server, stepped in and completely turned things around. He ensured everything we needed was brought out promptly and handled the situation with professionalism and care. When I insisted on paying for the corrected dishes, he absolutely refused, leaving us feeling valued and appreciated. What could have been our last visit to this restaurant instead turned into a night we ll always remember. Omar s outstanding service has solidified this place as a family favorite, and we can t wait to return this time with friends in tow. Thank you for everything, Omar!

Really great food and fantastic customer service

Went there for my cousins birthday dinner, and this place was phenomenal! From the delicious food to the amazing drinks! Most of all the EXCELLENT SERVICE from everyone of those guys that served us that night! Solid 10/10! Thank you all for the amazing time there!

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered chicken pad thai, and when I had an issue with the order, I tried reaching out to the restaurant. The person I spoke to Segita, was very rude and unprofessional. Not only did she not resolve my issue, but she also hung up on me mid-conversation. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and it left a very bad impression. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their service.

This location is fantastic! Service was amazing, food was even better! Portions are great for the price and the flavors are next level. Cant wait to come back! Vegetarian options: Yes there are veggies offices for i believe every main dish available Dietary restrictions: Staff ask if there are any allergies, there are options there as well Parking: There is an underground parking lot behind the restaurant(facing park lawn) it is in through the condo entrance, ample amounts or spots, stairs and a elevator and the door opens right beside the restaurant.

Cant rave enough about Chiang Mai, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered: chili chicken, Islamic noodle, Malay curry, crispy fish, pineapple fried rice. Well be back when were craving Thai food again - thank you for having us!

We arrived at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday night without any reservations, found the place very empty; however, we were told to leave by 6:30 pm. We ordered the lobster pineapple fried rice. The lobster was disappointingly dried. It was also spicy which was not written in the description. The lobster somehow did not have any claws, just half a tail. The beef Pad Thai was overly salty and the beef were chewy and tough. They used the cheapest cut of beef. So disappointed. Their prices do not justify their use of plastic plates and awful tasting food. $16 for a sliver of cheesecake? Finally, by 6:30 pm when we left, the restaurant only had one table of 4. No one was waiting to sit at our table of 2. The host was extremely rude to throw us out before we were even seated. Parking: There are only 6 free parking spaces. Get there early, expect bad services and bad food.

It s a gem of a spot, with great food, a nice atmosphere, and friendly people. The prices are also very reasonable, which makes it even more appealing. My favorite dish is their pineapple rice thing it s incredibly tasty, and they use spices perfectly to bring out the flavors. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal at a great price. It s a fantastic spot to have nearby!

The food, as always, was outstanding! However, our experience with our waiter, Nandish, on (Oct 26) was disappointing. We ve been coming to CM Parklawn for three years, and each visit has been fantastic friendly, attentive staff who make us feel welcome. Unfortunately, Nandish was the opposite of what we ve come to expect at CM. Throughout our meal, we had to seek out other waitstaff to take our order, bring our drinks, and eventually even get our check. When Nandish did take our order, he got it wrong; we received Tom Yum Pad Thai instead of the famous Pad Thai. At first, we thought maybe the recipe had changed, but when we saw the bill (again, requested from another server because Nandish was unavailable), we realized the error. Even then, he insisted it was our mistake, claiming the dishes were very different in sweetness. Thankfully, the manager, Gwen, was incredibly understanding and handled our concerns with great professionalism. She listened attentively as we explained the issues with our service, showing genuine empathy and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Gwen apologized sincerely for the experience and assured us that this was not reflective of CM Parklawn s usual high standards. Her calm and respectful demeanor helped turn around an otherwise disappointing experience. Thanks to Gwen s excellent management, we feel confident continuing to dine at CM, knowing that customer feedback is taken seriously.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant with my brother, and we were fortunate to have Osmar as our server. From the moment we arrived, Osmar was attentive and friendly, providing great recommendations throughout our meal. We ordered the Beef Pineapple Fried Rice and Shrimp Pad Thai, both of which were delicious! The Beef Pineapple Fried Rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of sweetness from the pineapple. The Shrimp Pad Thai was equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and a fantastic balance of flavors. Overall, our dining experience was wonderful, and Osmar s excellent service made it even better. I highly recommend.

The restaurant is well decorated and the food is nicely plated. However, the proteins in the meals were very very dry. The chicken in the Pad Thai was extremely overcooked and the braised beef for the khao soi was huge chunks of tough beef. The flavours were good though.

Had an awesome time at Chiang Mai, and a huge shout-out to our server, Osmar at parklawn location. He was super friendly and made us feel totally at ease from the start. He knew the menu inside out and gave us some great recommendations, and his service was on point the whole night. Osmar really went out of his way to make our experience memorable. If you re dining here, definitely ask for Osmar he ll take great care of you! He made sure I got extra peanuts and sweet sauce lol.

Been coming here for 3 years but never had anyone like Osmar. He was an incredible waiter who went above and beyond for us. I have never received this type of customer service until today. He also also has an amazing personality which made this experience so much better! Food was amazing too, our couple go to is the pad thai with crispy fish.

first time trying this place. flavor & quality was subpar, i had to repeat what i wanted several times to several servers because after our initial server sold us the idea of the dish we might want she never checked back in till the end. i specifically described what i wanted & it still turned out diff also. i wouldn t really recommend this place, it is just another normal restaurant.

We had an amazing anniversary lunch here with the Malay curry, and beef ginger story being favouritels. The Chicken Satay and shrimp rolls appetizers were equally great. Our server Irene was friendly and very attentive. All beef and chicken are Halal, overall a great experience. The Thai tea tiramisu is a must try as well, with plenty of great cocktail and mocktail options.

Khao Soi and green curry are amazing.

When I say Chiang Mai goes above and beyond, even that seems like an understatement. Beyond the amazing food, ranging from their delicious appetizers like the Tom Yum soup or their perfectly sweet, savoury, and spicy balanced mains like their Pad Thai, the staff is truly the shining gem of the restaurant. They are so kind, helpful, and welcoming, you have a hard time not asking them to sit and share the amazing meals with you. I would without a doubt recommend Chang Mai to anyone who is looking for the perfect dining experience.

well, the fooda were great. I think anything that has coconut needs to have less coconut, because that makes the coconut flavor too strongand undermines the flavor of any other elements of the dish. Food was excellent, had the pad Thai at the hottest level and it was perfect for me. Could also adjust spice level to your preference. Service was attentive although I had to flag down my server to get my bill. The environment was a vibe. I would give it five stars if I wasnt battling fruit flies the entire time I was there. First time in Etobicoke and this was a recommended spot with decent reviews. We werent able to reserve a spot so we walked in at 8pm to test our luck. The place was absolutely packed and we put our names down on the waitlist figuring we would be out of luck. Luckily we got a spot by 9pm and Im glad I was able to try this place. We ordered the Tom Yum Pad Thai, Curry Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. For people who enjoy spicy food, the spicy level is quite..spicy. We got the Pad See Ew at the recommendation of the server and I actually enjoyed that best out of the 3 dishes we got. We also got the Thai Tiramisu and as it was a birthday celebration, the servers came out with a candle on the cake and ice cream. Overall the portion sizes were decent for the price and the flavours exceeded my expectations. The servers were all amazing and attentive. If I was in the area again Id definitely come back as all other Thai places are now going to pale in comparison now.

I have been to Thailand twice and eaten a lot of traditional thai food. This restaurant took me back to Thailand. I can t say 100% authentic Thai cuisine, as you know Canadian-Thai , but the food was tasty, the spice was flavorful, the rice was fluffy and the Pad Thai was PERFECT. The prices are totally reasonable too and my wife and I even had portions left over to take home. Our server is lovely person, he s Thai and knows Thai food very well, Thanks Lockie. This location is not it. The one on Liberty is perhaps the best Thai food I ve ever had, whether you order it to-go or eat in. Here, I only ordered to go and the portion size was absolutely ridiculous. The tofu curry gave us like no more than 5 tiny triangular pieces of tofu and a hell lot of sauce, mostly sauce, so much sauce they gave us a second container of it but nothing to do with it since there were so few veggies. The Islamic nooodles were as good as usual but again, tiny portion. It also took forever. I do not recommend delivery here, though it was tasty. Too overpriced 60$ for just two small things.

Great decor with large, sharing tables made of teak wood. We had dinner and ordered the Panang and Massaman curry. They were both savory. My favorite was the Panang curry with beef. The pieces of beef were so tender and the sauce was flavored to a great spice. I enjoyed our evening there.

Exceptional Thai food, the Panang curry is my favourite! Khao Soi and Basil Fried Rice were close contenders as well. Wish I waited to take pictures before digging in. If youre craving thai or looking to try something new, Chiang Mai is the answer. 100% recommend. Special shout out to Fran - service was exceptional. Regularly checking in, bringing out food quickly, and smiling throughout. The staff completes the experience. And not to forget, the restaurant is beautiful! Great ambiance, and tons of picture spots. Perfect for a date night. Parking is super easy! Just go underground and park free for 2 hours. Update after 2 years: food is consistently incredible, staff is amazing. We find ourselves coming back here way too often! We come with our 3 year old, and she always has a great time. The staff bring her crayons and keep her occupied with goodies. Weve dined in here in as a couple, in groups of 4 and up to 12. Always get accommodated properly and served well. Its busy, because of how great it is - be sure to reserve your spot online! Huge shoutout to the incredible staff, especially the manager. Parking: A few spots at ground level, tons underground.

Went to try the Thai cuisine on the recommendation of a friend. Great atmosphere. Chicken and Beef was served Halal with generous portions. We ordered the Massaman Curry, Tom Yum Pad Thai and the Crispy Chicken from the Stir Fry. Everything was delicious.

This place is the best to get thai food. Im a big time foodie and generally its hard to find the perfect Thai food with the balance of flavours. Chiang Mai wont disappoint you at all. We ordered cocktails, beer, Thai shrimp rolls, chicken satay, crispy chilli chicken, pad ki maw, Thai tea tiramisu(must try), and some more. Id say it should be on your to go list to explore this beautiful place. Parking: Theres an underground parking of the residential building and you can easily park your car there. Its special parking for the retail outlets on site.

We truly our meal at this restaurant; the food was delicious and well-prepared. However, we were disappointed to find that an 18% tip was automatically added to our bill. We believe that gratuity should be left to the discretion of the customer, and this policy feels totally unfair. this was the last time we visit this restaurant

The food was delicious crispy calamari to start, followed by one of the best Pad Thais I ve had. And the Panag Curry was out of world. Warm ambiance and tasty dishes, I highly recommend this spot. Very worst service

I recently visited Chiang mai park lawn and was extremely disappointed with the service. The Indian girl server seemed completely uninterested in providing a good experience. Basic requests were ignored, and it felt as though she simply didnt care about our table. We waited an unusually long time for our orders to be taken and even longer for our food to arrive. Despite trying to get the servers attention multiple times, we were either overlooked or met with a dismissive attitude. Overall, the lack of attention and care from her seems made what should have been an enjoyable meal very frustrating. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure better service for future customers.

Food tasted great, we got shrimp rolls, pad thai and a curry to share. The mango coconut sticky rice was divine and the portion was large, the mango was ripe as well! Our server was very kind and helpful, we can t wait to come back. We loved sitting indoors and I can t state enough how much I loved the 2 person booths. They are so much better than sitting at small 2 people tables that are always too close to the next table that other restaurants have. This felt more private and a lot more comfortable. Had a wonderful experience here.

Extremely rude management. I walked into the restaurant for dine in. After my food was done, I took out a slice of cake that i purchased from outside. I just opened the cake slice box and the manger comes up to me and says no outside food is allowed I said oh sorry and I didn t know and I continue to close the cake slice box and put it away. And the manager says no you have to pay me $3 penalty per slice of cake, I have told your waiter. I told her, I didn t know of the policy and I put it away as soon as you told me, she says it s posted on our website. And I said why would you assume I know something random posted on your website. I even continued to point out that there is someone sitting at the bar drinking and eating food from Starbucks. And he is like that s my employee I choose to ignore her nonsense further and walk out. It seemed like the manger just wanted to make some extra money from her customers. What a shame, I enjoyed the food but now I won t ever be returning.

This was an AMAZING experience. We had such a great waitress. She was so friendly and caring. I didn t catch her name unfortunately the food portions were worth the price! Food was great! Drinks too. $$ out of $$$. We dined in but we didn t make any reservations. On a Monday evening, I didn t think we needed to but we had to wait about 15 min for a table of 4. Definitely make reservations in advance to avoid waiting. We didn t mind though. Only downside is the hostess? I don t know if their job is to solely take calls and handle take out and the servers are to greet guests. But I only saw servers greeting and seating people. The hostess didn t really acknowledge us or anyone else we saw enter. I would say that they shouldn t be at the entrance if they are not supposed to greet customers. It can kind of start off rough especially when you re waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged. I ordered the pad see ew for takeout and although really delicious, it was also super greasy. The Basil friend rice was too salty. Service was wonderful.

An improved version of Thai cuisine with a sweeter taste. The various curries and rice are more like rice bowls, making them convenient for those in a hurry. There were chunks of tomatoes in the tom yum and coconut soup, and the coconut soup was a bit sweet. The pineapple rice is super delicious, but the pad Thai is still too sweet for me.

The food is amazing and the service is even better. Do ask for Irene when you go there because she s super sweet person. She answered all our questions about the food and ingredients. It was our anniversary dinner so she also surprised us with an ice cream for dessert! Thank you Irene and Chiang Mai!

My son wanted to go out for iftar today. Due to Ramadan all the desi places are packed so we decided to go to a Thai place. We ordered the Mango Salad, Pineapple fried rice, Panang Curry, Beef Stir Fry, Beef Pad Thai and Lychee Mojito. Everything was amazing especially the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Lychee Mojito. The presentation makes the food more appetizing. We didnt enjoy the Pad Thai much due to the strong fish sauce smell. Our server Mark was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is great and would highly recommended to reserve a table. Parking: Parking spots outside are limited but there is underground parking available.

Hire someone with good manners, the receptionist was an pale unhappy white lady, if you hate to serve Asian customers, please quit your job in an Asian restaurant
