Really good value for your money. A hidden gem.

Place has dropped in food quality over the years, used to be one of my favourite places, but not anymore. Would love to see them get a different chef to revamp their dishes.

My shrimp, Pat Thai was awful. No flavour and the sauce was way too sweet. Had to wait 15 minutes for a takeout order.

Green Mango is my treat to my family every week and we are never disappointed. Personal favourites are the shrimp spring rolls, the curry pumpkin soup, chicken pad Thai and pineapple beef fried rice. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff friendly and courteous. Parking: Lots of paid parking in the lot at back of restaurant (as well as a back entrance), as well as paid street parking at the front of the store.

Overpriced.

We love coming here- the staff is soooo nice. And not like working at a restaurant nice, genuinely nice people. The energy in the place always feels light and clean and the food is always solid and reliable; we always get the chicken spring rolls and the rice paper wraps.

I spontaneously popped into this restaurant & wow. Absolutely delicious food, not to mention authentic. The service was friendly & kind. The space was clean & nicely decorated. I ordered the lemongrass soup with shrimp, pad Thai with beef, Thai milk iced tea & the crème brûlée. Everything was so flavorful. I am a huge fan of Thai food & there is many in the city of Toronto but not as authentic & delicious as this. I will definitely be returning & next time with friends! :) highly recommend!

Our server Minh was absolutely delightful. He was so polite and friendly. The food was fresh, quick and affordable. And the ambiance was calm and inviting. We had a really good lunch experience. 5/5 stars!

I ordered a chicken satay and pad see ew. My usual whenever I go to a Thai restaurant. The atmosphere and staff are great but the food on other hand is mediocre at most, similar to something youd find in a malls food court. They did not come out hot at all. My satays chicken was not crispy as it should be and the crispy noodle topping for the salad that came along was stale. The pad see ew tasted like a lo mein instead... I do not recommend. I wanted to give a one star but the restaurants atmosphere and wonderful front-of-house staff was sort of a saving grace. However, the back-of-house should step up their game!

Their menu shows one low price but when delivered a much higher price it s a classic bait And switch. Also their food is of a poor quality in comparison to some of the other Thai Restaurants in Etobicoke and more expensive.

Pad Thai recipe has changed. Not a fan of new change.

I absolutely loved the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce! The family-run atmosphere adds a special touch, and its clear they work together to serve delicious food. Ill definitely be back!

Green mango its a nice cozy restaurant we had a great time. The offer green tea while your waiting for the dishes, i ordered the mango shrimp and it was ok my partner order the basil chicken with rice and can drinks. Everything was good affordable price and nice atmosphere.

Pad see ew and spicy beef with shrimp spring rolls. Very fast... great service. Update: Mar 2024 Prices have gone up. Ordered shrimp spring rolls (subpar) but lunch special were excellent. Ordered basil fried rice with chicken and basil spicy chicken (came with an egg on top of the rice). Service was pretty good and prompt.

We ordered dinner, they forgot to add the spring rolls and refuse to send them to us. It s just tough luck, it seems.

Everything was lovely

Terrible service. Didnt even acknowledge that we were there so we walked to the bar and another customer ended up asking them if they would like to help us, to which they simply replied no without even looking at us. At least acknowledge your customers and talk to them with respect. Not friendly at all and would never come back here.

I have been going to green mango for years. I always order chicken pad Thai and golden curry chicken. (Over $50) Since COVID the price for the pad Thai is in my opinion too much for mostly noodles. Today I ordered it and it was missing the peanuts and there was barely any green onion or egg and no been sprouts so basically $22 for noodles and some chicken and tofu. I keep telling myself to stop coming but nostalgia keeps me coming back but I m going to try the Thai place near islington station next time

Very delicious food, nice environment, with a very welcoming and professional customer service. Definitely recommend for dining in, especially for groups and families with kids.

Over priced, I had lemon grass beef fried rice. Was not worth what I paid for. However, the mango salad was very good and worth the money.

This restaurant is conveniently located behind the Royal York subway and there is a p parking lot there as well. The food was served was served fresh & hot. A table of 9 were served efficiently. The staff are friendly and helpful

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill. Terrible service (took 10 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order) - there were only 2 other tables. Ordered basil beef, ginger chicken, pad Thai, shrimp and it all tasted the same. Did not have half the items on dessert menu. Ordered beers and they just gave us a can, no opening or pour. Asked for water they forgot to bring multiple times, had to ask for soya sauce because food was so bland - forgot to bring as well. Had to ask for chilies to help bring some flavour to dishes. Overpriced as well considering Thai places downtown Toronto are much better with same price. Seemed like it was young teenagers serving with little to no experience. Will not be going back here.

Food quality has gone down, prices have gone way up. Lunch special went from $11 to $16 in under a year. My friend didnt like it and said the curry and soups tasted like ketchup. My dish had little to no flavor and left me disappointed with recent changes. Service was OK.

Decided to give our once go to Thai food place another chance and glad we did. The quality of the golden chicken curry is back to their high standards . We had a few issues as to the heavy coconut milk in the sauce but it looks like theyre back to a lighter touch. Nice and so happy our favourite servers are still working here. My friend introduced me to Green Mango yesterday. We got there much later than we wanted to due to a last minute work emergency. Even though we came 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hostess even gave us complimentary spring rolls that were delicious. My friend and I ordered the street styled pad Thai (hers beef, mine chicken) and I was blown away at the high quality food and great portions. It was the best Pad Thai I ever ate! I will definitely be coming back.

This place is amazing. Really great food and big sizes. One big plus is that they have a 10-15 items lunch menu, which is smaller than a la carte sizes, but enough for one person. Lots of vegetarian options, they told us that they can make anything in the menu vegetarian if we want. Paid parking in the back and a small terrace in the summer in the street.

A great local spot for delicious Thai dishes. We usually start with mango salad, fresh rolls and then have a curry main. Parking: If you cant find street parking theres a big green P in behind and a convenient back door entrance too.

Great service and excellent food. Super accommodating for people with allergies, I usually worry a lot at Thai places that serve peanuts as I am allergic. I m a really big fan of the lunch menu, especially the chicken with the coconut rice, so it would be nice if they added a similar dish to the dinner menu.

Usually this place is good but this time I was left feeling disappointed. Pad Thai no longer tastes like tamarind but ketchup now (too sweet) and and the pad see ew was kind of bland. Very expensive also compared to other Thai places.

A wonderful restaurant that has been around for ages and has weathered all of the troubles and trials that have come through in the last few years. They still maintain a superior quality of both food and service. The chicken pad Thai is obviously a perennial favorite among everyone, but I would strongly encourage you to try some of the other dishes, you cant go wrong by going a little outside your comfort zone. I also recommend trying the coffee, its great!

Ordered from here for the first time and it was quite good! Food arrived still hot and seems fresh. Only complaint is the pad Thai is slightly overpriced for the quality in my opinion, but the tofu with sauce is amazing.

Hands down, one of the best thai places Ive gone to. Service was quick, quality and taste was amazing. My only issue is that its not close enough to me. I would highly recommend this place. We ordered the coconut soup with chicken. It was flavourful and delicious. Had a pleasant sweetness to it. Also ordered the pinapple chicken curry which is made with a red curry base. It was delicious. I thought it would be too sweet but turned out to have the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Like I said, highly recommend!

Ordered a street style Pad Thai with high hopes given the reviews and its quite possibly the worst Pad Thai I ve ever had. There s basically no sauce, no flavour, and there are bell peppers in the mix. Bell peppers are not mentioned in the menu and quite frankly do not belong in a Pad Thai. Also ordered a mango sticky rice, rice was ok, mango was very underripe.

If you are really hungry but dont want to spend big bucks on fancy lunches, head over to Green mango. Their $12-ish lunch menu features extensive Thai authentic food - just enough to satisfy your cravings and your wallet. While the actual meals come in at a normal restaurant price, their bun beef as shown in the picture below, is a savory stir fry beef with lemongrass paired with chopped salad and vermicelli. Im also a big fan of their lemongrass soup. The restaurant also offers a serene ambiance with modern Thai-inspired interior. Customer service is always friendly - true to Thai spirit and culture.

Just ordered $50 worth of food as take out. The phat ped telay was at least two- 3 days old and smelled rotten. The rice was fresh. I also ordered their fried chicken- fried means pan fried and not deep fried chicken. So weird. This restaurant used to be so great and today was a disappointment. Not going back.

Take Out: Is anybody else disappointed with Green Mango on Bloor in Etobicoke? The quality seems to be going downhill consistently. Everything used to be fresh, vegetables were crunchy but now not so, it s always cold and tastes like it s been sitting, overcooked, soft vegetables and so so meat - not like it was. Has management changed, new owners, what s the deal? I m (was) a regular customer and called with my disappointment - they don t seem to care. Poor customer service and substandard food. Lost my business!

Worst Thai food I ve ever had. Zero taste. Pad Thai only taste like rotten eggs. No sauce and very dry. Chicken satay inedible and seemed to me it was just warmed up. Wasn t fresh. The garlic shrimp is just steamed shrimp, again no flavor or sauce other than some chopped garlic. Pineapple rice was horrible and dry. Crispy tofu was the softest I ve ever had seems it was made like yesterday. The worst part was that the peanut sauce only tasted like old peanut, inedible. The whole order was thrown away. I don t recommend this place.

Wouldnt go here again. Initially went here because my friend wanted to try their satay she had been craving since before covid and we were generally disappointed. Underwhelming lemongrass soup with overcooked seafood and the chicken satay my friend got didnt look great and wasnt whY she expected. They also forgot a portion of her order. I would say this place is standard if not below standard for Thai food in the area. Shoutout to the clean washrooms though.

Definitely one of the best things about this place was the presentation. Very nice decor, great lights to set the mood and the music wasnt too loud or too quiet. Besides the interior was also great presentation of the food. Looked yummy to dig and and has that authentic look.

Not sure what has happened. Long term customer with huge love for this fresh and fragrant food. Today the meal was awful. Spring roll orange sauce was chicken broth with food colour - salty no zing no taste and gingerbeef had zero fragrance..no ginger, it was all chicken broth soupy. Nothing like food has been in the past. New chef? Will try again next week.

I ordered Basil Chicken with rice which showed 2 chili peppers beside the description in the menu. From the start the server had difficulty with English and even ordering a beer was a challenge. When my food arrived the rice was barely warm and didnt seem freshly cook. The chicken was flavorless and the dish was also barely hot. I asked for extra Chile sauce which was also very mild and not the normal experience I have had in other Thai restaurants. I choose to say nothing as with the language barrier we experience felt it would have very little effect. I will not return to this location or recommend it. Parking: Parking was around the corner and close.

ordered the pad Thai on Uber eats can t believe I paid 23 dollars for a portion size so small, it s literally noodles? Can definitely find other authentic places that don t feel like you re being ripped off.. not worth it at all

We order from here at least once every 2 weeks. The street style pad thai is awesome. Dont ask for too spicey unless you mean it!

Same great taste as the Bloor and Yonge location we missed so much. We ordered the regular and street-style Pad Thai, beef basil and chicken yellow curry. These last 2 come with rice. Delicious, abundant portions and reasonable price.

Best Thai restaurant in Bloor West Village.

I would not recommend this place if youre looking for authentic thai food. The pad thai was unlike any pad thai Ive ever tasted. The basil fried rice with (I suspect) frozen vegetables was okay but again, not authentic.

excellent as always. the people here are kind and considerate and willing to accommodate my many dietary requirements. the food is flavourful and delicious. my mother and father enjoyed their birthday meal very much! thank you. :)

Pad thai was tasteless. We had asked for mild, as per many times before, but this was ridiculously mild. Sadly, this was also a special Mothers Day meal. Extremely disappointing.

Avoid. This restaurant used to be so very good but sadly, quality control is a miss. I went by today and ordered peanut chicken to go. I was so happy at home as the dish was fully loaded with chicken and smelled so good. Thankfully I hadnt eaten much of the meal when I noticed a slice of ginger with a bite taken out of it. I couldnt believe it. obvious teeth marks. I do understand that a chef needs to taste the food but at least have the courtesy to eat the entire piece, not take a bite and throw it back into the dish for the customer. It is disgusting to begin with and during a pandemic on top of it, makes it too risky to eat here. I really used to love this place but sadly, I will never order there again..

I just tried this place this weekend and for the price, it s amazing! It s a great option for Thai in the neighborhood. They offer a $10 lunch specials with reasonable portion sizes and fairly tasting food. The yellow curry is great! I got take out but service was really nice and quick.

This place has a friendly staff and amazing food of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I went for the Mixed Pad Thai, and wife order the beef pho. Portions were huge, so either come hungry or have lots of appetite or just take home the extra. Pad Thai was mildly flavoured, not salty. I like it mixed so I get a little bit of everything. There were hot sauce on the table in case you want to spice it up. The ambiance was authentic feel of Thailand, with some arts, and figurines. At the time we dined in, there were some tables outside the restaurant if you want to dine outdoors. Its conveniently located next to the Royal York subway station. There were lots of parking at the back, or along the street. I recommend this restaurant.

One of my fave go-to places whether its for a quick lunch or a celebratory dinner. The service is usually always great, only a few slower servers who arent as attentive but otherwise its great. The food is always fresh and hot. The vegetables always taste fresh and they take pride in how they plate/serve the dishes as well.

We stopped here for lunch a couple weeks ago. They have a small seating area on the sidewalk so we sat outside. We ordered two lunch specials: the spicy chicken with basil on rice (#13) and the basil fried rice with shrimp (#5). I would say the fried rice was average - I have nothing good or bad to say about it. We liked the spicy chicken with basil better but it wasnt very spicy - more like mild. I would go back for their lunch specials. The price is right (10 bucks), the portions are perfect for lunch and theres over a dozen to choose from.

This is the best Thai food spot in the west end ... its a fixture in the community and the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming ... moreover, the food is absolutely delicious with freshly sourced ingredients and knowledgeable kitchen staff ... all around a wonderful place for lunch and dinner ... the pad Thai and mango chicken are just yummy ... and the duck is divine Highly recommended

I ordered Duck Noodles and Phat Phed Talai. Duck was okayish, though had small bones in it. But Phat Phed Talai seafood seemed spoiled and had disgusting smell. It went directly into the garbage. This is not acceptable.

Disguising food worst i have ever tried. No fresh rolls to serve only fried and worst pad thai EVER The dish was a mound of over cooked noodles with ketchup and peanuts ,no fresh ingredients to be seen. OMG when i mentioned it the people just stare at you no comment. They make it like they dont know English I will NEVER go back it is the worst Thai Food ever.

If I could leave a -5 star, I would. Ive found hair in my food before, and thats understandable. I wish I had a photo - today, I found a large piece of PLASTIC in my lunch. Ordered the beef curry from the lunch menu, and the discovery made me too appalled to even think to take a picture. The plastic was probably half the size of my palm, and still had a piece of a label on it. At least the people working were friendly enough to not charge for the food - but I will NEVER return here again. Absolutely ridiculous. EDIT: Regardless of post above, Ive revisited since this review due to its close proximity and my desire for asian cuisine. No complaints since return. Service is great as always. Change from 1 to 4 stars.

Just witnessed kitchen staffer standing at the kitchen side of the pass, stuffing noodles into his face with a bare hand while reaching for orders. In the midst of whats going on, Im floored.

The cook was stuffing noodles in his mouth at the same time as he was putting food in the pass. Disgusting, and in the middle of a pandemic. Do not eat here... bacteria breeding ground.

We just did a pick up order. The restaurant phoned us 5 minutes before the food was ready so when we arrived at Green Mango, the food was fresh and hot and I was the only person in the restaurant. The food was delicious, portions were large...enough for at least one more meal. Thank you Green Mango for an outstanding meal.

Over the years I ve definitely had my ups and downs with this restaurant. Sad to report: total down. Service is quick as they haul out many orders through back door to regulars but the quality of their product has deteriorated. Skimpy portions, dry Pad Thai, oily spring rolls. $40 for 2 mixed Pad Thai should give you something decent. Be selective as only a few items are worthwhile. And don t get the Pad Thai.

Been ordering for years. Used to have shrimp rolls with more shrimp than filler. That is no longer the case. I hope they get back on track. Atmosphere in the restaurant is decent, but hardly matters when the chicken skewers are often dry and have chewy bits. Dont know if management has changed, but its sad to see constant negative changes.

Green Mango is a great local spot to get Thai food. I love the ambiance of the restaurant as it is very calming and relaxed. The servers are very kind and service is relatively fast, leading to a wonderful dining experience. I had their chicken pad Thai, and while it is not the best pad Thai I have ever had, it s pretty darn good. It was oozing with flavour and consisted of a wonderful combination of ingredients, however I did find it to be a tad soggy compared to other pad Thai dishes I ve had. The dishes are quite pricy when you factor in the quality of the food, however if you are looking to try this restaurant out, I d recommend going at lunchtime where they have a $10 lunch special which includes a variety of their top dishes. Overall, if you are looking for Thai food, Green Mango is a fairly good option and probably the best in the area.

The food is amazing here

Went there for the first time from Caledon since the west north has no authentic thai food, thought id try it out. I Was amazed by their service going beyond during this pandemic. I didnt feel rushed and I loved their taste of the the meals I ordered. If you are ever in the bloor location stop by for some amazing thai food. Hands down it was the greatest thai food i ever tasted.

The food is good but unfortunately the portions are getting smaller. Ive been eating here for years and notice the lunch special portions are shrinking.

I already ate half my dish before I thought to take a picture because it was THAT good. Plenty of options and everything looked and smelled so good. Great service, and we got our food really quick.

Service was fast and the staff were nice. The food was delicious, very flavourful. The labels on the spicy dishes, I find quite accurate for my taste. The food selection is good. The restaurant itself is a bit modern with nice furniture. The most annoying thing is parking really... Its only paid parking, either on the street or in the back; and if you come at popular times its hard to find parking.

Never actually eaten here, but they were the only place to let me use the bathroom without a hassle when I had to go really bad. Much appreciated!

We ordered two dishes based on the servers recommendations. They were not good. One was drowning in sauce, which had a really overwhelming and not very pleasant taste. The other dish didnt taste like much. For $55 it was a complete waste of money. We took the mango salads that came with our dish to go and the next day when I tasted it, it was not edible.

You deserve to taste the most authentic Thai food in Ontario.

This place was closed on Sunday 4th august morning ! We arrived there to celebrate a bday at 2am and lo and behold ! The shutters were down . Such incompetence to have incorrect listing on google

Excellent food & service. Really good Thai curry Ive had in a long time. The only complaint I have is they close very early. We have driven down twice from Pickering and found it closed at 9/9:30 pm.

I ordered vegetarian pad kee Mao. They confirmed three times that it was vegetarian. When I come home it is chicken. I called to fix the problem. They said to drive back and switch it. I asked for compensation for having to drive back, they rudely told me no. Im never going back to this restaurant. Thai restaurants are plentiful in Toronto, so I will just switch to one that knows how to treat customers right.

Too drawer quality everywhere

Green Mango, more like Great Mango. Always friendly staff, never really too busy and the food is excellent. I always start off with the Curry Pumpkin Soup and Im never disappointed. I would seriously just come here for that soup. The Pad Thai with chicken is always very well done. Itn not greasy like a lot of other Thai places. The chicken isnt stringy where you feel like you got the throw away parts of the chicken. They used the good bits. I wouldnt hesitate coming back.

Good place for the family, we can usually all find something to eat. Everything else s cooked fresh, so they can customise things like no onions for me.

Shrimp Pad Thai ... that s the challenge with this noun; the plural of shrimp is shrimp ! And that s how many I had in my Dish. One. ... Cut it two. Lots of noodles though to keep me fishing.
