DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! This is not the same Thai restaurant from a year ago. It is not a Thai restaurant at all. It has been bought out by Nigerians. I recently placed a large order and every single item was incorrect and tasted awful. The Thai yellow curry looked and tasted like watered down chicken noodle soup. I ordered 12 pieces of crispy chicken wings and received 4 chicken thighs sprinkled with chili flakes. Their menu is deceiving because they have a hidden alternate Nigerian menu and have no idea how to cook Thai food.
Worst "food" I've ever had the misfortune of eating. After a couple bites we just stopped because it was absolutely inedible. The red stuff is supposed to be Pad Thai. Disgusting garbage food and a waste of money.
Great food and pleasant atmosphere. There can be a bit of a wait but as long as your with good company i don't see any issues
Came here for my Dad's birthday for the first time and let me tell you the food was amazing. Have the Basil Tofu and Veg fried rice it is heavenly. And the fried banana dessert melts in your mouth! All I want to type is mmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmm.... I was very pleased. I will definitely return.
Staff was friendly but food was terrible. Pad Thai dishes had absolutely NO flavour. Also it looked like there was so much food colouring put on it that it was practically glowing. Also there was absolutely NO flavour.
Have eaten at Joyous Thai several times. Food is consistently delicious, with huge portions, and fantastic presentation. Excellent service every time. Combined with their very reasonable prices, and huge variety on the menu, this is an overall great dining experience.
Absolute garbage. Overpriced. Horrible customer service. Never again. After a first bad dining experience we thought we would give them another shot. First time they screwed up two of our orders, but we excused the blunder because they had open 6 months earlier and perhaps were still figuring things out. This second time, we ordered 'Thin Glass Noodle Dish' and asked for extra broccoli. Upon picking up the order and opening at home, there was not one piece of broccoli to be found. When I called and spoke to management, they explained the dish does not include broccoli. When I pointed out the website lists the dish does in fact include broccoli, she said 'Sometimes you get broccoli and sometimes you don't". WHAT!?! When I asked for the dish to be refunded, she said she would apply a credit for the missing broccoli pieces. OMG. The cheapness. We will not be returning to this restaurant and will most definitely advise everyone we know to steer clear of this place. Joyous Thai - a very unjoyous dining experience.
Good food, huge portions. Tried the coconut soup it was homemade and excellent, best I've had. Calamari, and fried tofu were also good. The thai chili chicken was great too, and super healthy. Only gave the place 4/5 because they did not have a liquor license when I visited.

Dont go here expecting authentic Thai food. As the take out menu says, this is afro thai fusion. The pad thai has a lot of unanticipated flavours.
I attended a wedding fundraiser. The manager grabbed our beers at 2.30 am and poured them away. He was yelling at us and threatening us. He has zero customer care, one washroom shared by both male and female. The place is stinky. I dont recommend it to anyone.

The worst Thai food I think I ve ever had. Pad Thai sauce tasted like ketchup, noodles were so over cooked they stuck together in a lumpy ball. Chicken was really mushy, had the same texture as beef fat from a steak. Will never order from here again.

Ok so first the server was talking to some staff guy while taking our order next the spring rolls come it sucked a pile of greasy trash the dim sum was meh and yes they do somehow have it but the crispy beef was pretty good a lot of food and finally something that had some sort of value but other than that this place is lucky it got a 3 star

Dont like the foods, taste more like Chinese foods. Lol servies and The chef are pear Chinese fluent speaking. I order Thai Chili Chicken with steam rice. Lol they need to change or hiring more cheft

Plus that uber eats deliver. The beef stirfry is good however there is no rice. Chicken pad thai is orange and almost tastes like vinegar.asked for peanut sauce got chopped up peanuts. Mango salad is basically sliced mango... pretty disappointed. I would not order from here again.

Wish there was less than one star that I could give. The chicken is tough, the vegetables are just mush. Heres the real complaint. I ordered from them on Uber Eats, they sent the wrong food to us, then told us to eat the disgusting gruel they sent us because they couldnt take it back...and they would not send us our order. Refund given, but customer not satisfied at all. 0 star rating
Sent us the wrong food. I dont mean forgot something, I mean they sent us the wrong order, told us to eat it, and that they wouldnt send us the right food because they were closing. The food they did send us was the worst Thai food I have ever had. Never eat here!

Place is understaffed. There were a total of 5 tables including our own and there were only 3 visible staff serving/taking orders. It was impossible to get the bill to leave I had to go to the front and stand in line to pay. Where some guy who was trying to pick up his take out just got fed up and left. Which bumped me to The front of the line for another wait. The food was good but a little over priced. There was also 1 shared toilet for men and women and no baby change table.
Its a good Thai resto for take out - always empty for dine in here. Curry fried rice is really good!

I ordered $50 in curry and I didnt get any rice. I called the restaurant and they told me that I have to buy the rice separate. How is it possible that a $16 seafood curry doesnt come with rice. Now I am steaming some rice at home while the curry seats on the table. Thanks Joyous Thai Restaurant.
Ordered today through Just Eat and requested no Bell Peppers in my meal as well as mild. My meal arrived full of Bell Peppers and I m allergic. Couldn t eat any of it. When I told the restaurant, they told me they didn t read the notes:( the meal also arrived with two hairs.

Horrible customer service. I was asking questions about the food and they hung up the phone on me! The food finally arrived by delivery and it had no taste. I will never order food from here again.
Very good food. Ate a lot and had stomachache. The pineapple fried rice was to die for. The spring rolls were dynamites!!! Definitely coming back with some friends.
This place delivered via Uber eats (Huge bonus) and the food was above average. Could have had more sauce on the food, however it was very fresh and enjoyable to eat highly recommended!
