Found this place by accident. Simple but super delicuous. It was our first time trying tibetan and butanese food and its soo soo good. Especially the Tibetan Stor Fry Beef and Butanese Oyter and Black Mushroom in cheese sauce. The Tibetan Butter Milk Tea is interesting. Either you like ut or you dont. We will return with more people to eat together!

This place is great! Tried it for the first time this weekend, food is amazing especially the beef momo, my baby even loved them, good potions leaves you full, staff was super friendly and welcoming! You should definitely try this place, I will be eating her again.

This location is now a Tibetan Food restaurant and NOT a fish and chips store; this change happened in 2024-01/02 sometime; we had pan fried Momos that were fantastic; like a cross between asian pork dumplings and steamed buns; tasted handmade and loved the pan fried texture; we had all vegetarian food today. Their version of Chow Mein was original and full of unique flavors Ive not had before and was Devoured! Our Pakoras, veggies battered into a ball deep fried came last but were so so good. We ate them all despite being rather full already as they were too good to resist. Please be patient with their service times as they are a very small restaurant with minimal staff. We saw lotsa takeout being ordered which is a great sign and we wish Pemako wonderful success and we were so happy we tried them tonight!! Vegetarian options: they have vegetarian versions of most dishes. Pakoras and Chow Mein and pan fried Momos were all excellent

Lomein noodles and spring rolls were delicious! But get them to-go. The dining room is close to the kitchen and doesn t have great ventilation, so you ll end up smelling like food. Vegetarian options: Variety

Ordered veg chow mein, butter chicken momos, and non veg thali. The chowmein and momos were my favorite. Thali was more like home made food. The butter chicken momos were the highlight for me!! The service could be a little quicker.

Good Tibetan vibe place. Delicious authentic food, a big variety of momo, my favourite is - shabhaley: a dish of bread stuffed with seasoned meat (see on the photo). Also you can try authentic Tibetan butter tea.

I went there for lunch . Had chowmein, Shabalay, pork chilli all good was great . Chowmein was my favourite. Reasonable price, good food and good service . Will definitely visit again .

New Tebetin restaurant, excellent food, quite spicy, a little expensive.

I have never had Tibetan food before but I was pleasantly surprised! Lots of flavour and perfect portion sizes. The owner is very sweet as well as the lady who was serving me. I ordered butter tea, chili fries, butter chicken momo & a dumpling soup. They all tasted amazing and had lovely flavours. The owner gave me the butter tea and chili fries on the house out of pure kindness and I am very grateful for that. Thank you for a wonderful meal & I can t wait to come back and try the other menu items :)

The chicken momos are amazingggg!! The veg momos are good too but the momos are authentic Nepali and great! Highly recommend.. they also cater to your needs even if we order on Uber eats.. great service and very sweet people! Update- the chicken they use for momos is super stale and I told them that. Hope they improve!

Viking is still the very Best for fresh Fish & Chips! The taste is like taking a trip down memory lane, as my family ate here when I was a kid. The portion size is still very generous, and the halibut & hand cut fries are so crisp and delicious. Highly recommended! Viking is Permanently Closed!

Gotta say this is a damn good fish & chips! Ordered a 2pc halibut & chips...fish was a good size, not over battered and not too greasy. And while the amount of chips was a little on the skimpy side, they too were delicious. Unfortunately, their tartar sauce was packets. Overall, I would definitely recommend Viking if youre looking for a good F&C! Thanks for the tasty meal!

PK kitchen is an absolute gem in Mimico. Hands down the best momos I ve ever had! dipping sauce was just *chefs kiss* their momos taste just like the special momos my mom used to make for losar Their beef curry is another favorite of mine! Dine in or take out, they never fail to stay consistent! Weirdly I save their Shabaley as a next day snack and it s just perfect! Parking: Plenty

We simply l ve our little Gem. This Restaurant has delicious soulful food that tastes genuine and so nutritious and so fresh. Ontop of that, I havent met kinder Staff, very friendly and kind and smiling. If you need a bit of a pick me up, this food is full of Love! We felt so happy and warmed, from the inside out. I ve been living in the neighbourhood for some time now and decided to try Viking Fish @ Chips Awesome food for a quick break. The fish is nice and crispy just perfect I would recommend this nice restaurant.

One of those places that define a neighborhood. Small and friendly.

Placed an order at pemako kitchen for pickup. Showed up to pick our food and turns out they gave our order to someone else. Asked for that someone else s order and turns out no one else had placed an order. They also ran out of their main ingredients at 7 pm on a Sunday evening. Left thoroughly confused and hungry. Folks at the counter were helpless and seemed clueless as to how to run a restaurant. Really hope they get their bearings right if they want to grow their business.

New Tibetan restaurant. The momos are delicious and well cooked.

Pemako Kitchen. Came in on a Saturday and we were seated right away, we were served (I believe) Chai tea. The staff recommended their daily special Thali (see picture) which we were glad to have heeded. Food may be a bit spicy for others but the portion and taste for the price of $13 each was well-worth! Will recommend to others and will come again.

They didn t listen carefully they messed up my order and I got more than what I ordered and got charged, this is my third time I ve got bad service from this restaurant.

The lightly battered halibut is a refreshing change to the fish calzones i had gotten used to from other places. Cant wait to try the battered mushrooms next time I order from viking fish and chips.

Good fish and chips! Not the best Ive had, but still good. And they are very fast with the food. They dont give you tarter sauce be default, so make sure to ask for it!

I ll give em three stars because the fries were very tasty and the fish was decent (a bit over-cooked and VERY greasy... but still tasty). I wanted to ask for lemon but I assumed that would be weird because of course lemon comes with fish n chips... NOPE. No lemon. And we asked for extra tartar sauce, was told it was extra, PAID FOR IT and then did not get it. And no coleslaw? Why do all the menu items show coleslaw! The food we got was good but I was expecting a full meal with coleslaw, extra sauce & lemon (because I m one of those people that probably likes the condiments more than the meal) and all we got was one piece of greasy fish, fries, and the single tiniest cup of tartar sauce I have ever seen. A bit of a let-down.

Better than most

The good news: the food is delicious. Crispy battered fish (my preference is the halibut but you can t go wrong), not oily, fries are really good (ask for extra crispy and get the malt vinegar.) The bad news: no one wears a mask in the back, they come out to the front unmasked, and the lady at the cash (maybe the owner?) had a small piece of cloth held up with one hand, that she removed when she spoke to customers or answered the phone. When I mentioned to her colleague that everyone should be masked (we re a year into this pandemic, a basic mask isn t difficult), the lady said I just work here. I hope they get their health and safety act together.

Excellent fish and chips location and great value for money! Perfect home-made tasting fish and fries, very nice homey tatziki sauce, souvlaki was also very home-tasting and excellent. Was the perfect amount of grease, not too much but just enough to hit the spot. The coleslaw is a hidden gem and very good, would recommend adding it as a side. The fish tacos were also good. One of the best home-made fish n chips spots in the area.

Ive had their fish a couple times now, the fish smelt a bit old, and greasy. The fries were really mushy. They didnt wear a mask when i came in and one lady hust pulled her shirt over her face. Also they put some religious flyer in the order which I find quite odd. Id eat at another fish & chips place, its not worth the dissatisfaction.

Im from Newfoundland, I know fish-and-chips. This is the only place in the city that I can get fries made the right way and good the quality cod has the flavor it deserves. the service is amazing its a small Hometown feel when you go in. They recognize your face and are very happy to serve you. This a Guaranteed once a week tradition for me now I absolutely love this spot

Tried this spot because Halibut House was closed. I was greeted with a very friendly smile and service. The fish and chips were fantastic!! My fish was either cooked twice or was cooked a few hours before I got there and warmed up. It was hard as rocks. Cole slaw was nice. Id never go again.

Ive eaten fish and chips all over Ontario and this restaurant beats many. The price the portions and the cleanliness are spectacular. The taste of the fish either halibut, cod or haddock are delicious. They make a great fish batter that is NOT oily and the french fries are crispy and fresh as well. The value is the best comparing portions.

First time back after the move. It looks great. Plus, theres lots of street parking around on Lakeshore. I called ahead and it was ready for pick up in 20-25 minutes. Fantastic as always. Its the only fish and chips we go to. Its my sons birthday choice every year. We started going when he was a toddler. Hes 20 now and goes on his own too. A family favourite. Worth every penny.

Super cute inside - can t wait to dine there post-pandemic. Friendly and quick service. We got the haddock & chips, and the clam strips. Allstate s great! My picky nearly three year old ate some of everything. She especially loved the clam strips and I was happy to get some seafood in her diet. Fries were also great and crispy. this is the second time my basa was under cooked, batter was soggy and so much oil. when I called back the owner told me its because the fish was to go and doesnt travel well. how does that make the fish under cooked? she was arguing with me and didnt even apologize.

This little place makes some of the best fish and chips in Toronto! (Ive tried many that dont come close). The fries are crispy, not too salty and just right. The fish taste (tried the cod) is authentic and tastes like natural saltwater fish. The batter is crisp but substantial enough and its just all delicious and great value too!

A good place to enjoy great fish and chips. They now serve home made burgers and souvlaki. The owner and his wife work there and they are really nice friendly people. Its cozy and warm and feels like an old fashioned restaurant. Plus you can learn about fish that you did not know on the signs. Once you try it, you will go back again and again

Came here for the first time on Good Friday 2018...was waiting at the counter and ordered fish & chips to stay...she then told me to sit and the waitress will serve me after waiting for over 10 minutes...then had to tell the waitress my order again. The food came quick but she didnt give me any tarter sauce that usually goes with fish & chips which i had to ask for. Overall the fish & chips were very tasty and delicious but disappointed with the small portion of food, i was still hungry!..not sure if Id go back or not!

Their fish and chips lunch special is a super good deal in GTA. $7.75, fresh fried Halibut and fries, plus coleslaw. They are all yummy. Their home made clam chowder soup is also worth trying.

I travel for work and always love to get here to eat at least once a week when I have to work in the area. The restaurant is simple the owners are friendly. The food is all home made even the house made tartar sauce and iron bru . Good selection of seafood dishes. One day Ill be more daring and get something other then fish and chips with a side of coleslaw.

Friendly fast tasty seafood

My family & I went to eat here on a Wednesday at 7pm. We were unaware that they close at 8pm, but they let us finish up without any rush. This was a tough review as the 2 that were working were nice people. A few things to consider is that there was no A/C (or on a very low setting), they were out of a bunch of things on their menu (end of day; but their items are most likely frozen stock & shouldnt be out), a side of fries were forgotten (thankfully not charged) & slightly high priced. BUT, the food tasted great. Parking is a challenge as there is only street parking which is almost always full (TTC stop is near by) Mostly local customers here. Try take-out if parking is an issue.

Best fish and chips, and fish tacos that we ve ever had. Everything is fresh and prepared with love. The food is well worth the wait. This place also has its own unique atmosphere, which I loved. My wife and I went to this location, (The Queensway store), yesterday, (Saturday) because of their good reviews. We went on the Google to make sure they were open and their hours posted said 7:30 pm, so we had over an hour. My wife and I arrived at 6:45 and man came out of the kitchen. I told him it was our first time here and do we take a seat or order at the cash. We were abruptly told that he could only make us a salad. I said why as your hours on Google says your open until 7:30 pm on Saturdays. He repeated that he can only make me a salad. I repeated again that his hours are until 7:30 pm and he shrugged his shoulders without a care and said I dont know anything about that. My wife and I were furious as we drove all the way there for nothing. Even if they did close at 7:00 pm we arrived at 6:45 pm and was enough time for him to make some fish & chips. How rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful is this kind of service. My wife and are were disgusted and we will never go there again and warning others not to go there.
