Came here with guests after a long time. The last time came, we had mix review about the food but this time it was excellent. We ordered Adana Kebab for two which was good for three people. All the meats were flavorful and veggies and bread were fresh. The service was also good as they regularly checked on us and helped with menu selection.

Delicious food, great service, worth every penny. 12/2024: The sandwich (Downer Lamb & Beef) was generously portioned but lacked any standout flavor. Prices are significantly higher, nearly double what they used to be. However, the service was excellent, and the complimentary Çay was a nice touch.

I got chicken wings today i called them and gave them my order for take out everything was burned i never ever go and order again and tell all my friends to do not go there they are playing with people foods

I ordered a Kunefe it cost me 20$ but i was really disappointed. It was burnt . I don t know if that s how they make in Kebab49 or just gave us because we look different. But will never going to order again.

Everyone should definitely try these flavors at least once in their lifetime, but be warned: the taste might take you out for a few minutes and then bring you back to life! :) The waitress, Sena, who attended to us with her warm smile and care, was absolutely wonderful.

My daughter s birthday celebration at Kebab 49 was truly memorable thanks to the service from Kebab 49. An even larger thanks to our hardworking waiter, Serkan Lsyjp. He went above and beyond to ensure that our visit at the restaurant was amazing. Serkan Lsyjp also took photos of our family in the restaurant when we would ask him to. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food didn t take too long to arrive, everything we ordered arrived in about 7 minutes. So, this is just a huge thanks to Kebab 49 and their outstanding service.

Best Lamb in the city! This is our go to place for many special occasions. Whole family loves it, as do many friends we recommended it to. The lamb dishes are phenomenal, especially the lamb chops.

I took my friends who came from Ottawa out for dinner. We ordered our food from a waiter who was old, rude, and unprofessional. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive after calling them twice. When it came time to pay, they added surcharges. When I asked what this meant, they said it was for tips, which makes no sense since tips should be decided and paid by the customer, not the hotel. I couldnt argue in front of my guests, but I will not recommend this place to anyone. The prices are extremely high compared to other Turkish cuisines, and the service was terrible, with charged extra money on the bill which didn t make sense.

I have been going to Kebab 49 since 2015. Its always an amazing experience but Mehmets service today was just so exceptional. He was kind, he listened and always had a wonderful smile. He made the experience even better than the usual!

Food was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and very flavorful. We had the mix appetizer platter and the mix kebab platter for 2. The kebab platter actually serves 4.

This place really fell off, staff is under trained, they got wasps and flys buzzing around while you eat, my table had a dead fly laying there when I sat down, Please fix your restaurant, you guys were So good, what happened?

Today, we went to Kebab 49 for breakfast and really enjoyed the new ambiance. The new manager, Mr. Ridvan, was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. We ordered scrambled eggs with sautéed beef, which were perfectly warm and delicious. Both the food and service were top-notch. Highly recommended!

I have visited this location a couple of times, and the service has been very poor. , when you are alone, it feels like they are not as invested in providing good service. I don t understand what goes on in their minds, but their treatment is consistently poor. They are coming with so much attitude. They needs some proper training to give a good service.

You ll find the most delicious food at this restaurant, always top quality. The staff s professionalism really makes your experience enjoyable. Feyyaz and Baran are truly among the best here.

Came back after a few years and had almost forgotten how good their food is. The sandwiches are as Turkish as the ones in Taksim Square. But then, so is the service. The waiters were almost displeased about people coming into the restaurant. We asked ours to split the bill, only to be met with looks of contempt and a reminder to let us know of this at the time of placing the order. Apparently, the billing algorithm at the restaurant is a lot more complicated than one would imagine. Pro Tip: Ask for some hot sauce. That and the manual of Dos and Donts.

Great quality in everything

This place serves great quality turkish food with high quality meat used in their dishes.. their kababs and doner are high level.. I really love their veal and lamb doner , Adana kabab had a smoky flavour, and the beef shish wad super juicy..And the chicken shish kabab was soft tender and very flavourful..

This is my second time at this place. Always a positive surprise. The food is excellent, and their plates are big, you do not to have wait in the line as major part of toronto, and the service is amazing. Big shout out for Riduan, who was nice explaining about the plates and helping us.

I asked for fresh cut veal meat to have in my pita,the meat cutters started starting at me with intimidating looks,as soon as I turned my face to pay ,they moved the old meat under the spit ,as if they just cut it.so ,I cancelled my order.my wifes order the salad on the side was so old and inedible. We have been a costumers at this place when they first opened ,when it was only one side of the restaurant.They where amazing in the beginning..very personal and tasty.I recommended this restaurant to all the people that I know. I feel bad that this what happened to this restaurant.I think they need to hire more pleasant people ,service is very important.I wish them all the best.

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! Sena, our server, was incredibly attentive and made fantastic recommendations. She really knew the menu inside and out. Wheelchair accessibility: My friend and I work at Sherway and we finished work at 9:15 pm. We came to dine in at 9:30 pm and Sena was more than happy to assist us even though they close at 10:00 pm. Edit: Even though portion size of the sandwich has gone down a bunch, it is still one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Hands down, bar none. It is a life changing sandwich; try the lamb and veal sandwich with extra of both sauces and you will see what I mean.

The food here is quite good, mixed doner plate is amazing but sometimes can be greasy. Salads are good, maybe could use a bit more than just bare bones sauces. 4/5

This is the second time we go to this place. They have renovated their salon and it looks great now! The food is still great! Obviously all the Kebabs are good, but the lentil soup is something to consider as you normally dont get a bowl of soup in a kebab place. Try the lentil soup! Parking: Parking is available at the front and back of the building.

We went b recommendation from my co-workers and I want to say that in fact out was a really interesting and wonderful place. The food is really good, tasteful, colorful, and plenty. Also, I believe that it is priced properly. The ambience is great with a small patio that is beautifully decorated. I really recommend this place and I will come back for sure. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian plates and entrées Parking: Is a regular parking space next to the restaurant. Nothing wonderful about it. Kid-friendliness: It is a family restaurant.

Its saying open at 9:00am on Sundays... But nothing is saying its only for breakfast (limited menu)... No any info at website... Im coming from Woodbridge to find out they dont serve what they have on the menu... Im wasting my Sunday morning... Thank you guys!

Food was good. Atmosphere was not great with a swarm of flies surrounding the table inside the restaurant with no measures taken to combat that. Air conditioning was dripping water over the food and all over us while trying to eat. Service was mediocre, nonetheless less they had the balls to charge us a fixed 18% service surcharge which was not a choice. This is ridiculous, we are not in USA and this should have been based on service which shouldn t have been more than 8 percent based on the service we received. Won t be returning to this place again.

When it comes to foreigners, service and flattery know no bounds. But when the Turkish customers come, you make breakfast plans. When 2 people come, you ask about breakfast for 2 people, no problem, I will complain too.

Went today for lunch. The appetizer platter was not very good. Weird taste to the dips. They also did not have tabbouleh. I actually came for that reason. My chicken dish which consisted of shaved chicken, rice and salad lacked flavour, tasted gross and everyone who had that dish felt the same. The servings are generous.

The food was absolutely delicious one of the best meals I ve enjoyed in Toronto in a long time. Big portions. We celebrated Eid and called ahead to reserve a table for nine. The reservation process was seamless, and despite arriving ten minutes early, our table was ready and waiting for us. Our server, Eyupcan, was polite and attentive. The person who took our reservation was also exceptionally courteous. All staff extremely polite. This is, without a doubt, the best Turkish restaurant in town. Bravo! Thank you for making our Eid celebration memorable with such a fantastic meal. Parking: We were lucky as we found a spot upon arrival.

Doner wraps are so bed the meet is so hard and bread is hard also and there is no sauce and no taste they have to change something I didn t like it

Their pides are not great - their lamb and veal was alright. Also tired their Swiss cheese rolls and mixed dip app. They were pretty good.

Their food is really oily and also charge over 40 dollars for children under 3 and self tip for service. I will never recommend you coming here especially if you have children. On top of that their service was really bad didn t ask if we need anything and never offer us water we had to call them to bring The food okay average the service 100% really bad.

Food was super oily and the restaurant was not busy at all only 2-3 tables. They never came to ask if we need anything and we asked for water twice before they finally brought it. We were 6 adults and 2 kids age 2 and 3 and a half and they charged a $40 service fee. He said we usually charge service fee for 7 OR 8 people table. But we were 6 adults and 2 children. And they failed to let us know about the service charge before seating us. Regardless the food was horrible and you should go to Mama Fatma or Istanbul doner house for better food and service.

This was a great accidental find. Told Sena it was our first time and we were looking for sharable food, and she recommended the mixed appetizer and the mixed grill platters. Everything was succulent and delicious and plentiful. Generous portions. Good prices for Toronto. Will be back for more.

We had a really lovely birthday meal here. We needed a table for 7 and I was worried whether it would be easy to secure without a reservation. I was informed it wouldn t be necessary, and sure enough I came right in. There was a spot ready in less than 5 minutes. Great service! We never waited for more water, and food came out very quickly. Sena and Baris took great care of us. They even brought out a slice of cake and a paper rose. Top notch. So. Much. Food. We wanted to try a number of dishes, but the portions meant that we went home with enough food for 4 more meals. Be prepared when ordering, but I assure you that you won t leave hungry.

Food and general service was great - but they don t inform you that the bill includes a gratuity until after the transaction - we tipped on top of the gratuity. We were there with a big group, and the payee made the mistake of not going through the receipt until after payment and tip. Unhappy with this practice.

Save your time and go elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience at Kebab49 due to the poor customer service from a waiter who called himself John. From the start, we had trouble placing our order because he kept pushing us to order more food than we wanted. Even when we insisted on a smaller order, he continued to pressure us, which was really uncomfortable. To make matters worse, one of the flatbreads was stale. When we politely asked for a fresh one, he rudely questioned why we had taken a small piece from it, instead of just resolving the issue. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, which ruined our experience. We won t be coming back.

We ordered the lamb chops, and while the flavor was good, the portion was disappointing. For a $40 dish, the lamb should have been the star, not overshadowed by a heap of vegetables. It was a waste of money I wouldn t recommend it.
