Bistro YYZ & Patio in Etobicoke

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on multiple occasions and quite often eat both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The food has always been consistent and very good. I've had the pizza, burger, wings as well as the breakfast buffet and single order breakfast off the menu which has always been good. The staff are always courteous and prompt. We often have drinks there in the evening as a large group and everyone is more than accommodating.

What an unexpected treat, much better than I would expect for a hotel lobby restaurant. The staff was uniformly friendly and personable, great! The vegan bowl was delicious and a huge portion size, I highly recommend it for vegans or non.

Stayed at Holiday Inn 3 nights and ate a few meals at their YYZ Bistro . Food was excellent, along with great service 👌pricing was very good 👍 The Caesar salad with salmon was 😋 as well as home made potato and leek soup 🍲. Also my cousin raved about their chicken quesadia and butter chicken rice bowl. Also, with dinner we tried a gin with club soda and splash of cranberry juice ..it was only $5.50. Excellent choice ! They also prepare a very good all you can eat buffet breakfast with fresh fruits , bagels, toast, bacon, sausage and turkey sausage, cereals etc. .

Bistro YYZ is possibly one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. I ordered the butterchicken, and it tasted disgusting! It was incredibly unfresh and rubbery, exactly like how a microwavable quick meal would taste, but for $26-29. The side salad that came with it was on-par with the chicken for the lack of freshness, even having old brown lettuce. Also, the restaurant was SWARMING with flies, making the atmosphere nauseating. I've never seen deals quite this bad, overpriced, and amusingly terrible quality. DO. NOT. EAT. HERE!

Javed is an absolute superstar! Despite being the only server on the floor, he flawlessly attended to every guest with a smile and an unwaveringly positive attitude. Not only did he go above and beyond to assist everyone, but his recommendations were also spot-on. I personally tried the steak sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic – perfectly cooked and juicy, not dry at all. Javed's dedication to ensuring every detail of our dining experience was impeccable truly sets him apart. Thank you, Javed, for your exceptional service and for making our visit unforgettable!

Walking was very lack luster. I met a friend who was about to fly out and stopped here for a coffee and dessert. Walking in at first glance it was so dated and dull. The atmosphere is like an old motel continental breakfast room vibe. It didn't match the dessert that I recieved at all. The dessert was great with a wonderful presentation but I couldn't help and the tea was standard. This is one experience I found the underwhelming environment impacted my overall experience significantly.

A surprisingly delicious chicken parm, with well made cocktails. I don’t normally say this, but I highly recommend this place. The hotel staff was equally kind and helpful when checking in.

Average atmosphere but what you can expect from a hotel bistro. However was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Such a great variety in options. My friends and I got different meals (Club wrap, grilled tofu and Butter Chicken) and we were all very happy with what we received. I honestly wish I was around for more days to try more items on the menu
