Went through drive through and the guy tried to keep our change as a tip for himself (he had taken it out and put it on top of the till). We had to ask for our money? Scammers.
Coffee is good but often have grounds in my cup. Glaze is made way too thin. Happy to be able to come here 24 hours a day, though.
My mom and i were in fergus on Sunday enjoying the town I once resided in .....we decided to visit the Tim's on hwy 6 ....I ordered and coffee french vanilla and the man cashier asked me what I wanted in the French coffee ???? I have only know it as a French vanilla ......he asked and I said my mom has milk and sugar and it tastes like vanilla so he registered a shot of vanilla ....it tasted awful my mom who's 88 knew this is not what she has regularly... he said well thsts not coffee ....tims please correct me ...is french vanilla not coffee ??? .l paid twice for his Or this understanding
It’s sad I even have to give this review a star at all. This is not the first bad experience we’ve had with this location. This morning my brother and I came through the drive thru to get a coffee to warm up and something warm to eat as well. The whole interaction was immediately awful. The lady on the intercom taking our order was negligent, continuously asking for us to repeat our order as if she wasn’t even listening to our order at all. I was still charged for my full order and I did not receive what I paid for. A large double double with a vanilla shot and I got a large black coffee. Both coffees tasted bitter and burnt to boot, not the always fresh guarantee. As well as a bagel including a sausage patty that was conveniently missing the sausage patty, the grill was down so my brothers wrap wasn’t able to be grilled. The customer service was weak. I even tried calling the building 4 times in a row after leaving and discovering the big mix up, to give them an opportunity to correct what they had done and no one would answer the phone. As someone who used to work for this company, this location is tarnishing the chains namesake and it’s really sad to see. With a reputation to uphold they are not and don’t seem to care either. I won’t be returning to this location.
bad service going through drive-thru, I got yelled at because I was checking my sandwiches that I had purchased to see if they were all there. The order was wrong and the gentleman told me it was all there and proceeded to tell me he was not my servant. I couldn't get a word in and he kept saying to me don't swear at him and all I said was this is bull@@@@. Will never go back there again especially when the order was wrong. I have never been yelled at for about 4mins like that before and over these guys screwing up my order!!!!!!!!
This store needs better management. The layout is confusing mg as to where to line up. I stood in the wrong spot waiting behind people who I thought were waiting to order only to find out they were waiting to get their food/drinks. A simple “please line up here” sign would go a long way. Others who came in after me made the same mistake. I only ordered 2 coffees and some timbits. Got the timbits within a minute but waited almost 10 minutes just for the 2 coffees. They were lukewarm at best and the timbits had barely any glaze on them (see picture). The staff were scattered and didn’t seem to know how to handle the store. I would not recommend or return. Will drive out of my way to visit another location.
If I could give zero stars I would. We went through the drive through and had to repeat our first item 4 times and before we were even had the chance to give the rest of our order the girl on the intercom interrupted us saying “all done? Drive up.” We explained we had more and it was put in fine and read back to us correctly however as we drove up to the window they simply smiled and joked with each other and ignored my question about how many items were on the order. We paid and they still missed items or never added it to the order instead just telling us we only ordered one and had us pay for the rest. After paying I STILL had to ask for more of our missing items while they just sneered at us.
0/5 stars. This Tim Hortons is honestly the worst. No one working here understands you at the speaker in the drive thru or the cash register inside. The exact same order is a different price every time and no one seems to be able to answer why that is. The service is absolute trash every time I come here. Will not be back after my latest experience.

Imagine pulling through the drive through and the person saying hello and then confused you say hi and the person working says yup.... Horrific way to answer a speaker. Barely said a word to me at the window instead was talking to her colleague. I felt like she would have rathered I not even been there. Wild. Awful. Seriously train your staff on customer service.

I hate Ordering, here! If the front staff is not even slightly paying attention, they will ALWAYS mess up the order or take extremely long to get a CUP OF TEA correct... Repeated to this person THREE times what type of tea I wanted, and he still made a mistake. This happens EVERYTIME I order from here. I even order the exact same thing! A Tea with 3 milks and 1 sugar. I have NEVER gotten a correct order from here. I have no clue who is training these people, but they are clearly not trained with basic listening skills or capability to follow an order.
This store is usually efficient and have no problems in the drive thru. Today my tea bag was ripped (it happens) so drove back and went into the store for a replacement. I waited and waited for someone to even acknowledge me and finally had to speak up and yell will someone come to the counter? Six people on drive thru, one baker and two other guys doing what I dont know. I understand not everyone could be trained for cash but when you do see a couple of people waiting at least direct someone to help. The lady behind me walked out and left.
Went for coffee and donuts and they had one Apple fritter and nothing else except a few cookies and timbits. Poor selection. Avoid this location.

Drive through was fairly quickly this time. Coffee tasted like water. Also huge pop hot rite at the drive through window that s been there since spring.

Went through the drive thru, said a part of our order and the lady just gave us the total and told us to drive up. We said we have more but instead she just moved on to the next car. There wasn t any line and when we drove up and explained we had more to order they told us to pay for what was put in the computer and go back around and wait in a now huge line. Just very annoying

How hard is it to fill a coffee cup? Apparently its not easy, my dark roast coffee was made almost half empty, as if thats all the coffee that was left in the pot. Check your coffee before you pull away from the drive-thru. Having read the rest of the reviews here, there seems to be a management problem here, not just the staff.
Went in the drive-thru and was rushed by the girl taking my order. Forced me to pay for items they missed on the order even though they were read back to me and even then forgot to give me other items I paid for. I will not be going back they just stood around in the window laughing and joking with eachother.

Quick, affordable and tasty
absolutely horrible service telling my husband that he they don t want to make anything difficult, so please order something quick and easy . Maybe, just maybe I would understand if they were in the middle of a huge rush, but we were literally the only people in the drive through and there were no cars in the lot. They also messed up the order giving assorted Timbits when we asked for ONLY chocolate? And the Ice Cap was watery and looked (and tasted) old.
I m so disappointed in the service we received this morning! We went through the drive thru at the Tim s by the McDonald s and zehrs. The man that served us was so rude, we said hello and he handed us the debit machine without saying hello or how much it was. He looked at us like we were nothing. Then gave us our bagel and breakfast sandwich that was saturated with butter on the outside of the bag and inside of the bag. Even the outside of the bagel was all full of butter. Once again not saying one word to us. My husband said thank you even though he shouldn t have once we received the bag. The man still just looked at us and didn t say anything. I m still shocked like what is going on with this world and the service industry. He looked anywhere from 25-30 not quite sure. Skinny Indian man with a black beard. He needs to be reprimanded for how rude he was!!! This is un called for! Hire people who want to be there! A paying customer does not deserve treatment!
Literally can never get my order right. Try asking them to take the egg off your BELT, its like youre speaking some alien language. Try asking for no cane sugar in an iced coffee, guess what you get...cane sugar in your iced coffee. Believe the other reviews and expect your order to be wrong if you visit this location. Just an update after a year: They still cant get orders right, not even coffee! Ordered a iced coffee today and asked for no cane sugar and milk instead of cream. I instead got an iced coffee with cane sugar and cream. Like, its a coffee with milk, is this really so hard to get right?! Its more steps to make it wrong than to make it right. This location is by far the worst in Fergus and they do nothing to remedy the problem. Its worth the extra 5 minute drive up the 6 to the Tim Hortons at the gas station, they have literally never gotten my order wrong. Edit: Visited again today May 30th and they still cant get my coffee order right. My iced coffee with milk is actually with cream, and so much cream that the coffee is white! Cup of stomach ache is all it is. Isnt ownership embarrassed about all the negative reviews?

My wife and I order the same items everytime we visit a TH. We use the one in Fergus on our way to the cottage weekly. So we ordered our food items to which the told us they were out of both. Now...they are busy so understandable. But the next time went a week later identical story.
Very pathetic service, I literally want to give zero stars but there is no option. Employees have no sense of customer service. Nobody greets you, no hi-hello , no thank you . Not recommended at all until the employees are educated. Thanks!!

When going through drive thru, my rewards and offers activated were used (as per app), but the price does not change... they do a double take when you scan for rewards at the window and you ask how much, they tell you the same amount? I am told the amount in the app is before taxes. Will be asking for a receipt next time - I certainly like the drive thrus that have the amount show on a LED display - more transparent!
This is the slowest Tim Hortons Ive ever been to. You have to wait 5 minutes in line just to be served.
I was served a mouldy English muffin. There was no manager present when I went into complain. The staff merely offered me a refund on the sandwich. I insisted they call the owner. Definitely they do not put the customer or their food safety first. Check over anything you order. Disgusting. Oh. I also got charged for 2 frozen lemonades even though I only ordered one.

Gave me a coffee with a hole punctured in the side, so 90% of my coffee from my 40 min drive home, is now in my cup holder. I tried calling to let them know in case there were other cups the same, its 5:17pm March 19th 2024 and not one person can answer the phone. Wont be back. Ill be sure to let people know how this went as well.

I would absolutely give no stars if I had the opportunity, too. The fact that I stood there for almost 30 minutes. Im waiting for my food, plus the fact that they messed up. The order of another customer didnt give correct change and on top of that. I paid for a different sandwich for this person, and still, they got it wrong. Not to mention the fact that the last few times I have found hair burned into my food or my order was completely incorrect. Not to mention , also , the fact that there are potholes all around their drive-through and parking lot , which is a dangerous hazard for anyone who has poor mobility. Awful Awful service minus the manager trying to correct the mistakes of her employees. It was so disappointing I was only trying to get a treat for myself, which I rarely do. Usually at the time of midnight, most of the staff be or any place is cranky and tired. Which is totally understandable. But yesterday when i went to take coffee, Baljeet was totally energetic and full of vibe. Made very amazing coffee for me and gave amazing service.
This is probably one of the worst Tim Hortons ever. They consistently get the order wrong. I don t understand what is so hard about following instructions on a screen. I ordered a Farmers Sausage on a Biscuit with Bacon and extra cheese and they completely forgot the sausage and extra cheese and the sandwich was pretty much burnt.
Such a strong language barrier, I haven t gotten my order right the last 3-4 visits. Having to repeat my order 4-5 times each visit, and still getting my order completely wrong is becoming very frustrating. Been coming here for years only lately has it gotten this bad.

Once upon a time this was easily one of the better Timmies around, but oh how its gone downhill over the last year or so. Terrible service, argumentative staff (when they get your order wrong, they try and argue that its YOU whos at fault). The last dozen times I went thru the drive thru, at least 10 of them I had to park and go in because they either forgot something, or just left things out entirely, or the BLT came with just lettuce. I stopped going there entirely, much friendlier service and much better coffee two doors down at the McDs.
Went through the drive thru around 1:51pm. Woman at the window barely spoke a word to us, and I heard her coworkers talking (quite loudly and within earshot) in the background, saying how another customer was b*tching about the app but we have nothing to do with it. Thought it was really unprofessional. I expected better.

It was on the seats on the floor, paper bags, straws and other. Are these the future adults the ones who will look after the evironment, I hope not. Shame on these students for their laziness and letting down the beautiful town of Fergus. I truefully hope that one of their grandparents get to see their mess and perhaps talk about what they seen during their visit to Tims. Ken .......

This tim hortons is one of the best in the region with exceptional customer service. I happen to visit this location and was served in a very professional way by miss Ragini. She made the sandwiches in a customized way. She deserves more than 5 stars for her wonderful service.
Absolutely garbage. Asked for double toasted and didn t even receive one toast. Employees showed no emotion or enthusiasm and were rushing the customers in a harsh manor. Overall would drive 2 hours to another tims than go to this one
Upon calling the store to let them know about poor product quality they dismissed my concern and denied it being their store I ordered from. The Timbit box was covered in wet icing and the timbits appeared wet when we opened the box. The Timbits had clearly absorbed the icing and were soggy. Our 2 year old spit out her first bite and didnt want to eat anymore. Very disappointing as we were on a long drive and just passing through Fergus.
Worst experience at this tim hortons, they were keep messing my order from last few visits but this time is too much. I ordered vanilla ice coffee and bagel from drive thru and off to work afterwards. While i was drinking my coffee it taste weird and i opened it to put some sugar in it and what i saw is the coffee is really bad there was lumps in it . I don t understand what s wrong with employees working there. They are not checking the products properly. I was lucky that I opened it and checked it. Otherwise that thing gonna make me sick.

The WORST coffee ever. When Tim Hortons is know for great coffee and it cold and nit what you ordered its very disappointing. We poured it out after the first sip. We order dark roast and got original that tasted more like milk than coffee. WONT BE GOING THERE AGAIN!
I ordered a pumpkin spice latte drink. When I tasted it it tasted funky. I got some other people I was with to taste it and they all said it tasted like it had expired milk in it. I dumped the drink out when I got home and to my surprise found green mild looking stuff at the bottom of the cup. Later that day I threw up. I cannot believe that Tim Hortons would be putting expired milk in their drinks. Shame on you whoever made my drink. ALSO, my bagel had barely any cream cheese on it. Tasted like I was just eating bread.
I go to this particular Tim Hortons location out of convenience. But due to a few recent experiences here I will happily travel further for a better customer experience. I placed an order in the drive-through, and my order was completely wrong. Thankfully I checked what was in the bag before driving off and had to go inside to get it changed. The front staff are lacking customer service skills, and I was handled as if I was bothering them. I was asked three times what my order was by the two women who were correcting the mistake. You would think after asking what the order was three times that it would be correct. I collected my order and left the restaurant. I didn t check the food because I thought surely it would be correct this time. When I went to take a bite of my breakfast sandwich I noticed there was chipotle sauce on it (which I confirmed after the fact, does not come standard on this type of breakfast sandwich). I never asked for this, and was never asked if I wanted to add that. I was so hungry and frustrated that I ate it anyways. But this is really unacceptable. The next morning, I stopped in and ordered my usual breakfast sandwich, and hash brown. I noticed the total to be more than I m used to paying. So I clarified when I got to the front window what the order was. It was is the manager at the front window and he read my order back to me, not to my surprise it was wrong. I was overcharged and was about to be given the wrong food again. I told him what it should be, and he yelled to the employees behind him to fix the order. Then he proceeded to give me the machine without changing or double checking if there was a price difference. I mentioned this to him and he says oh ya, let me change that . I would ve thought as a manager you would not need to be reminded to such a thing so your customers do not get ripped off Makes me wonder how many other times I have gone through there and not payed as close attention to my bill and unknowingly paid extra for something I didn t want. This is completely unacceptable and there is no excuse for this. There is more than enough people working there, this should not be happening.
This place is the slowest Tim Hortons anywhere. If you have half an hour to wait then go here. Starbucks is the better option in this plaza. Edited to add that they were short staffed as per the fellow in the window and had two workers in training at the time. Manager needs to figure this out.

I asked for a blt without egg on a plan baggle, and I got a plan baggle with just butter. I went inside to get it fixed and they said I was wrong and I left with a plain baggle with butter. :( its not what it used to be!
Cream of Broccoli? More like WATER. Soul was so watery and tasteless, it s normally so creamy and good. Also, my large coffee was filled 3/4 of the way when I normally receive a cup full to the brim. Disappointed. Oh and the staff seemed to be arguing with each other, lots of tension. Not really the atmosphere somebody wants to be eating around.
Was very disappointed in the service 6 young girls just standing in drive thru talking wouldn t even come over to acknowledge we were there. Very very disappointed in the service. Went here this morning and the gentleman at the window messed up my order. First off he put the debit machine a tad out the window and I couldn t see the total. I tapped my card and a notification on my phone said it was $7. All I got was 1 croissant and a coffee. He then proceeded to hand me two croissants after asking him why I was charged $7. I informed him I only wanted one croissant and would like a refund. He got annoyed and took $2 out of his tip jar and handed it to me. I told him the refund was more than $2. I kid you not he said you got $2 and an extra item and closed the window. I drove off but won t come back.

We came around 8pm and some items we ordered were out of stock.
All I can say is they have no clue. Not busy but took over 5 minutes to take my 2 coffee order. Then another 5 minutes to get the coffees. The supervisor management style to me was a major negative factor in the poor operation. To be clear they were not busy , 2 people waiting to order ahead of me also waited longer than me and the drive through was not busy.
This has to be the slowest Tom Hortons I ve ever been too. Went through the drive thru today. I got to the window and the staff on the drive thru window we re talking among themselves. It took 7 minutes for them to give me my order and all it was, was a steep tea. I won t be going back to that Tim Hortons again

People waiting inside to complain of problems/mistakes in their drive through orders. After waiting in line for my purchase, they were out of everything I wanted: out of smile cookies (it was only 10:30 am). Only 3 kinds of bagels available, baked good window was desperately empty. No one was smiling. I will not be going back to this TH.
Left training employee by herself and when she asks for help no one showed her how to correctly type it in for future. No manager seen. Asked for medium got small coffee and bagel never cut in half. Employees need to be treated better

They no longer open at 5 am where am I supposed to get my coffee it s been almost a year since they switched to 6am open
Waited in drive-thru for 20 minutes just to get a coffee. Ended up getting a large made wrong after ordering and paying for an extra large. Edit: Still terrible Update: 16 minutes in the drive thru just to get a coffee today
This location is so damn slow something needs to change. My thinking is the manager needs to be changed to manage their staff correctly.
I ordered two latte one with sugar. When i asked at the window which one is no sugar then she took one back. When i got home one cup was half full and both with sugar. Very disappointing.

Visited this Tim Horton last weekend. Without a doubt, it is the worst TH I have visited. No napkins (employee that took the dispenser later told another employee it wasnt his job) no sweetener for my tea, waited 10 minutes to get the tea and coffee after payment, and waited about 10 to be served when there were only 4 people in front me. The drive-through was running very efficiently. I would recommend any other TH or restaurant rather than this one.
Management working along side workers is amazing to see and shows loyalty to customers and staff.

On a steady decline. This used to be the best Tim Hortons in town to go to. Now your lucky if you get everything you asked for. Half the time the lobby is closed, only one lane for drive thru is open. Time for a revamp.
Can never get your order right and if they do actually get it right which is rare the steep tea is always cold
