Was ordering through drive thru and the co workers were about to fight. That is very unacceptable and very unprofessional. The place smells bad now that we don’t even go anymore. They need to deep clean this restaurant.
I saw as an employee had attempted to be trained on doing the orders for people waiting to order inside and they kept getting in trouble for not being in the blizzard making area meanwhile there were no ordered that needed to be made. I think they should treat their workers nicer and maybe train people who are asking to be trained on certain stuff to make themselves useful.
3rd time I’ve ordered flamethrower chicken wraps and all 3 times they gave me ranch both second and third time I ordered I confirmed at the speaker that they are flamethrower wraps and then again at the window and both times they told me yes but yet they still give me ranch wraps this is the worst DQ I have ever been to will not be back
The “cook” microwaved cold burgers in front of me as I watched from the drive thru then handed them to me. Then became up set when I asked for him to prepare new fresh burgers. I find most staff members here to be arrogant and irritable. Save your money for else where.
Beware if you have young children. I took my 5 year old grand daughter after school for an ice cream. Once we got seated I looked up at the TV screen and there was pornography playing on the one active screen. Luckily she was not looking at the screen and we were able to turn her around so she could not see. I asked the employee to turn the tv off, which he did. He came back and apologized and blamed it on a customer they had lent the remote to. I emailed DQ head office and they basically wiped their hands clean, all DQs are franchised so they will forward my concern, no follow up from corporate. The franchise owner did call the next day even though I had requested all correspondence by email. Our reception broke 3 times but the jist of what I could understand is it was a customers fault? Does DQ just pass the buck, not their problem? I am only one customer that visited weekly with my grand daughter so me no returning won’t hurt their profits. Just imagine if that was your child, grand child looking up and seeing that disgusting female pornography.
We’re huge customers of this location from the dealership across the street. We ordered a 6pc chicken strips with fries to get only 4 and what it seems a chicken nugget. The quality of service has gone down significantly. Which is sad cause we love dq.

Terrible service ordered a small cone and could of been an extra small terrible just shoved it in your face in your window. And almost 6 bucks never go back again. Tried it again tonight never again 6 strips combo and a blizzard 28.00 never again thats disgusting

Customer service was great, the food was delicious at the atmosphere was very relaxing, we will definitely come back. Parking: Tons of free parking. Kid-friendliness: Lots of happy kids coming and going. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible in all areas that count, door entry, counter for ordering washrooms and table.
Been here several times, and every time the staff act like they are being bothered. And for a $14 crispy chicken salad, with what looks like one chicken strip, one would think that the staff would be a little more polite.

I asked for well done. The meat was still pink and greasy. It made my stomach upset Excellent service tho. Toppings are not free either. Example: Piece of lettus 40 cents... Dietary restrictions: I require a low fat diet. Thats why I asked for well done.

We came in tonight with family for dine in. I was ordering our ice creams and the guy who was taking our orders his name was Harinder was very rude by mistake we ordered wrong size so I told him to change the size to Minnie he was like sorry I can t it s already and you should have ordered correctly in first time . Restaurant was clean, arrived at 1120am just me and one other guy who was waiting. My burger took 11mins to make as the time showed on the screen. The guy before me was 18min for his order and he had to ask where his food was..... I was 3rd customer of the day, you guys need to be faster especially when its NOT busy.

Went with a serious fast food eater...he hot the triple burger combo....not bad for 15 bucks....they have garden chicken salads at least at this dq...a healthy option

If i could give zero stars,I would have. I dont recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered two blizzards and a sundae, and I had to wait 1 hour for my order while all other customers that placed orders after me were served. Also, the staff was unorganized and very slow and other customers were frustrated as well. Worst Dairy Queen experience ever.

Blizzards were not as ordered, had minimal toppings, and were runny (it was not busy there). The store has a gross smell to it. Visible from the counter where you order are aggressive signs on the ice cream machines telling employees DO NOT do (insert instructions) unless authorized to do so!! Etc. Ill wait until Im visiting Orangeville to get DQ from now on

The food and beverages were very good but the service was crazy slow! Waiting 20 mins for a milk shake. 12 mins for a small cone! They were busy servicing drive thru and ignore the people in the restaurant.
So I have tweaked the review to better reflect my experience. I love DQ ice cream and Ill always prefer to get it with you, however , most times I come to get service, your staff looks unengaged and uninterested in their work. I understand most time you got part-time staff but having someone engaging will not only promote your business but will also attract more sales on other items. Also tables were not that clean (both times the inside was either empty or had 1 patron eating a burger). There should be time to quickly check and clean tables if there is not much traffic in store

If I could give zero stars I would. Went through the drive through, debit went through just fine. After waiting over 10 minutes, was told the card declined. This seemed strange, as the machine said approved, but tried twice more, being told again that it was declined despite the machine saying approved. Ended up paying cash. Went home and checked my bank statements, debit went through just fine. Went back same night with proof, and was brushed off. Spoke to the manager and was told that they couldnt reimburse me. Refused to look at the proof I provided, and said to come back the next day. Horrible customer service, paid just under $50 for three mediocre sundaes. Will not be going back, would like to hear from corporate about my reimbursement please. UPDATE: went back the next day and was able to speak to a different manager. He was much nicer than the one I spoke to the night before, apologized sincerely for their mistake and refunded me for the three debit transactions. Added one star for his customer service.
I visited last week over there and their service is great and their crispy chicken is the best.The girl(Jasleen) is best in customer service and she speaks so politely.

Ordered a basket of onion ring. This is what was in there for $7.44and they were cold as ice. I would rather drive further and go to poppies now. Poppies gives big onion ring order for same price and make it as you order. Very disappointed.

My daughter and I have recently moved to the area and we have now been to the Dairy Queen in Fergus four times. Each time the service has been excellent, the place is spotless and the food was served hot, fresh and very tasty. We have stayed inside the restaurant to eat and each time we observed the staff to be cleaning the table tops, the benches and chairs thoroughly. The workers are all very friendly and very patient with us, including my daughter who is on the Autism spectrum. We are so happy to have a DQ to enjoy every Thursday evening.

Beware! Watch every item they enter. They tried to charge me $1 more than the item I wanted was priced at, and claimed the menu just hadn t updated yet and it was the new price set by head office. They refused to honour the menu price they were advertising in the store, and claimed they can t change it.
Gave a $20 and got $8.25 back for 2 SMALL Blizzards. Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I will not be going back.

Ive stopped at a few DQs and this one is by far the worst lately. 3 out of 4 visits to pick up a favorite treat for the kids a mocha moo latte and go figure were sorry but the machine is broken. Really people? Getting almost as bad as another fast food chain and their soft ice cream machines with surprisingly the same problem. If youre looking for a treat go look somewhere else at least the machine will probably be working there.
It was okay. The workers were quite rude little rushy the bathrooms were really gross. The kitchen and dining area was clean, but the bathrooms were definitely lacking some cleaning skills
Our go-to for ice cream outings, although we also use the Fry Shack in the summer months. The customer service is always friendly. A great addition to the north end of Fergus as this town continues to grow.
1) The person at the cash was also doing drive thru and interrupted me mid-order to take a drive thru order *twice* 2) The ice cream was runny 3) Asked for a variation on a menu item and although they tried they couldnt understand what I was asking nor was there a way to key in a variation into the cash register. 4) Called out my number when my order was ready but I was never given a receipt or number 5) It often smells like sewage or something similar inside. This doesnt seem to effect the food but makes dining in impossible. This has happened frequently ever since it opened.
My suggestion would be to have someone who communicates clearly on drive-through As we found it difficult to Understand the person who is talking to us And this comment is not Intended To offend anybody Just a suggestion

While Wendys triple burger is better, this one was still delicious. Its nice to go to a DQ with more than just the frozen treats. It was also nice to have the staff bring my family of 3 our order. Their fries are pretty good too.
Twice in a row, I ordered birthday cakes and both times they were not made up when I went to pick them up. The last time, I waited for an employee for 15 minutes before she came out and said there was no cake. So I had to wait another 15 minutes for the cake to be made. I had pre-paid. Poor business practice. A complementary cone would have gone a long way. Next time, I am going to Guelph.
Ordered 2 shakes at the drive thru, one gentleman took our card rang it through. Waited a few minutes more, different person tells us the debit card didnt go through. Which we found odd, but gave them a credit card instead. Husband drove away while I checked the online account. Yes, it went through debit fine. Went back to talk to them about double charging us, showed them the bank info. They refused to reverse it, said the manager would call us later. Oh and they got the order wrong too, twice. Poor customer service and we just paid over $24.00 for 2 poorly made thin shakes. Would like to hear back from corporate please. UPDATE: Unfortunately this was not resolved. We received a call from the Fergus Ontario owner demanding information that we already gave them on the day. The credit card receipt, which they had, we never received a receipt, and a copy of our banking information, which the person on duty took a photo of already. Then he gave this ridiculous excuse that he would have to wait for at least 2 days for it to post, and they cant reverse a double charge at the restaurant when its made in error. I have worked in banking and retail, and that is utter nonsense. They also never showed us on the machine or by receipt, proof that the debit card was declined. Which is common practice. The owner would not let my husband get a word in edgewise, just kept repeating the same lies, and gave no indication about refunding our money. My husband raised his voice to say no thats not correct, and his answer was to say, If youre going to be like that theres nothing I can do about it and hung up. So they charged us twice and kept the money.

I went to DQ in Fergus today, bought my Aunt a Cake, asked to write Happy Birthday, I noticed there were no decorations on the cake, my Aunt loves Pink Roses, I asked if they were able to add pink roses on the cake, a very kind young lady by the name of Rupinder said she would be happy to decorate the cake with pink roses for me....she went the extra mile and this will bring a smile to my Aunts Birthday, thanks again Rupinder!!

Tried the 2 for $5 special, and seems like whoever assembled it figured that extra, extra extra mustard would be a good thing. NOT Guess I should have specified that I only wanted a reasonable amount of mustard or that I wanted to taste the burger not just mustard.... there was so much that when I ook a bite, mustard ran out and was dripping from the sandwich....Didnt eat the second as it was just too much.... To the manager, please train your people properly and know and monitor what they are doing.....
Waited 10 minutes for 2 tiny wraps, only for them to be made wrong. Came back through drive thru, told the lady at the speaker that they were made wrong, and the response I got was mhm ok sure bring them back up then if they are supposedly wrong. They then proceeded to take my food that I had already opened, and bit into, back into their store (REAL COVID SAFE LOL), only to reuse my already biten wrap, and remake what they did wrong and gave me the same biten wrap. Absolutely disgusting and will never return back to this location.
Tried a new pecan pie blizzard. It was awful. Hardly any pecans in it but caulked full of a disgusting cookie/crust chunks. I couldn t eat them. Very expensive very expensive
