I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon entering, the reception lady greeted us with an attitude that was anything but welcoming. Her tone was rude and dismissive, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. When we politely requested tea, she flatly refused, stating, “This is a dine-in, not a tim.” This kind of response was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Regardless of the establishment’s policies, there’s a way to communicate with customers respectfully—something this place clearly lacks. We left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. There’s no reason to settle for such poor service. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Disappointing experience. 20 years ago we loved this restaurant and fairly frequently ordered takeout or took the family there for dinner. No doubt the ownership has changed but so has the commitment to food quality and service. We had takeout butter chicken, lamb korma and butter naan. Usually that would last us two meals. The meat was sparse in both curries, the sauces watery and the naan thin and tough. A takeout order took 40 minutes to prepare and, on pickup, the staff person chose to play on his phone rather than serve me, the only customer in line. He even picked up an incoming call before paying any attention to a customer in front of him, wallet out and ready to pay. We won’t be back.
We have ordered multiple times from this place over the last 3 years and each time we thought "must've been a busy night for them" or "this is just a one time mistake" as excuses for the poor quality food. Note, each time was takeout because the atmosphere of the restaurant is not the best. We have had their sag paneer, the butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, vegetable korma, mango Lassi, and some garlic naan. The Rogan Josh and mango Lassi were done well, but the rest of the order was not... The butter chicken was okay, but the sauce was watery and the chicken was not the best. The garlic naan was okay, just very doughy/bready and not that garlicky. The sag paneer was weird.. it did not just have spinach in it, there were other green leafy vegetables which is okay, but the sauce was also oddly sweet. We struggled to finish it. Lastly the vegetable korma... It was the worst curry. We did not even eat it. All the vegetables inside were mush and looked and tasted like they were from frozen. The sauce also wasn't very good, or at least not to our liking. In total our dinner was around $74. Around an hour after our meal, my family and I felt awful, completely bloated and burping up the meal. We think that they used poor quality or old oil for the curries. Overalls I do not recommend this place because the food is expensive, just like every other place these days, and the quality of food does not live up to it at all.
We have been ordering takeout from The Fergus Tandoori Grill for years and are always pleased with our food. It is flavourful and consistent. The prices have crept up over the years so we only treat ourselves on special occasions. We have had nothing but positive experiences here.
was truly disappointed. The food was subpar, with the roti being dry and stale. The service was even worse. A pregnant woman in our party waited an unacceptable 15 minutes for a simple glass of water. To make matters worse, we experienced what felt like blatant racism. We were the only Indian customers in the restaurant, and despite being seated for a considerable amount of time, our order was seemingly forgotten. When it finally arrived, we were shocked to find that no cutlery was provided. We had to borrow utensils from another table. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and left us questioning the safety of the food. As someone familiar with Indian cuisine and culture, I can confidently say that this is not what it's about. Indian hospitality is renowned, and treating customers with respect is paramount. I strongly urge potential diners to avoid this establishment. The poor quality of food and service, coupled with the discriminatory treatment, make it a completely unsatisfactory experience. I have reported this incident to the local health authorities and hope they will investigate the matter.
I don’t even write reviews, but I had to, if you have brown skin never go there(Funny thing is it’s an Indian cuisine). I just walked in and she is already assuming that I cant afford to pay for the food. She asked me to read the menu twice and then she is telling me that I have to get something other than snacks. The restaurant was empty and I know it will continue to be. No idea how they still keep 4.4 stars😂
The Worst Indian restaurant ever. We got the aloo gobi and naan. The naan was very dry and tasteless. The aloo gobi had no flavour. It tasted like boiled vegatables straight from a frozen bag. The mango lassi tasted sour and was a little too chunky. The portions over all were very small and the price was ridiculous!!! I am very dissapointed.
Pls do your self a favour and don’t eat at this restaurant unless you want to be treated BAD. When enquiring about veg korma being super sweet .The manager said can’t you read the menu.. and he went on to say people of your colour always complaint.. felt disrespected and felt like he is being racist and we didn’t eat at all and paid for the bill and walked away. I had kids and mother with me .
The attendant was really rude and did not treated us properly. We were in search of an Indian restaurant but this was not what we expected. She refused to serve us tea for starting and made a really mocking face. Will not recommend this to anyone. Bullshit it is.
Not as expected don t go here
Not as expected, no service, no sense of talk to fellow indian nor even satifaction, do not ever try this, not worrh money I have tried one dish and it is overly priced. Not worth the money Vegetarian options: I ordered samosa
Tasteless food. Wrong place for an Indian guy to go. I would rather travel to Brampton/orangeville
Friendly staff. Great food. Food
This is not an authentic Indian food place. This is one of the Indian restaurants outside of India run by Pakistani and Bangladeshis. Their food is substandard, service sucks, and they are profiting from the Indian food brand name as not many will eat if it is called Pakistani or Bangla food.
Worst taste of food and even worse service... no customer service at all... brampton wale ta bhulke v na ayeo ethe
Excellent all around
Owner is super friendly and has great food, my family and I enjoyed it very much! Seating is limited but I hope to see much growth to this buisness!
Love this place. Recently bought a huge take our order for 25ppl. Every dish was amazing. Ordering from them again tonight.
It s run by a Bangladeshi family that is trying to serve Indian food .as an Indian it s the sweetest food I ever had for the high prices I paid .naan bread was the only nice thing and not sweet .they mostly serve to non Indian tourists or locals who would rate them high but for authentic folks this is the worst food one can eat .i know it was my last time here .not to mention the lady at counter was generally unhappy with no welcoming smile .dont do something your are unhappy with .never going there again .
My sister and I went here for lunch today and the food was fantastic, service was great and I will definitely be returning!! I suggest the veggie platter if you want a nice smattering of different things to try!
Ordered chicken Bryani , this is what I received, 25$ :( Small portion , and taste is ok Food : 1/5
It was ok. Not the greatest Indian food that I ve had. The korma was way too sweet. Chicken was tender and the naan was good. The service was not very good.
Worst Indian food I have ever had in Canada. That s not Indian cuisine they are serving!!!
Best curry Ive had in the tri city area.Constantly great food. Years of satisfaction.
Worst Indian Food I ever had in canada. If you would like to have Indian taste go nearby Waterloo/Kitchener. Rather than here not worth the money. I don t want to give one star but there are no other options..
Had a lovely lunch with the wife for pleased with the service and food
My favourite place to eat in town. The staff is so kind and friendly and the food is authentic and delicious! My fiancé and I would definitely recommend coming here! Vegetarian options: They have LOTS of vegetarian options!
Absolutely, delicious food! Fantastic! Staff is friendly and helpful. My favorites, Madras, Shrimp Jelfrazi , Dansak,Rogn Josh, Barta, Veggie curry, Chana Masala! What can I say its all delicious food:) LD:) Yummy Love this little gem
This is one of our all-time favourite restaurants. The food is spectacular and the service is friendly. Our favourites include the butter chicken and beef korma, but make sure you try the papadums with chutney tray. Honestly, just order a variety of dishes. You wont be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Lots of options. The aloo gobi and channa masala are lovely.
Friendly staff and the food was amazing!
The food was good, but I will not dine in here again. Ive had good experiences here years ago, but tonight, we were ignored the whole time we were there. We werent even brought water after asking multiple times. I saw them serve many takeout orders and not pay any attention to those of us (2 couples in house!!) trying to have nice date nights. If you cant staff a restaurant, dont offer dine in.
Love it. Always tasty, great portion sizes for the cost. We are lucky to have this in town!
I ve ordered from here many time, not any more. While passing by today, I had 20 mins to spare I decided I would stop in and have a beverage and warm up a little, I was told NO, sorry NO. Rudely too I might add.
Would be nice if the person that served us would of been able to explain the menu better.
I had an absolutely lovely meal and time here, delicious
Worst biriyani ever I ate. Expensive and not up to the taste. Chicken Biriyani was like lentil rice.
One of the finest Indian restaurants in the area.
Got the butter chicken. Was really good. Not huge portions, but really tasty.
Not very keen to get more business strictly time oriented
Tried this place again and really enjoyed it. It seems as if business is down but that is the sign of the times as all restaurant business is down.
Good Food and good service. Simple not a lot of bells and whistles but nice overall.
Great tasty food. Especially Dansak dish. Portions a little on small side for price. Food
Great local restaurant run by friendly people - I highly recommend.
We had a terrible experience at Tandoori Grill, Fergus today. The manager threw racial comments at us for giving feedback about a dish. He told us we should have read the menu!! He claims to be Canadian but without the famous Canadian politeness. I believe they serve local folks, but I believe local folks deserve better. Please boycott rude behaviour and don t ignore or accept it. As a family we were disappointed enough to leave the food uneaten, paid for their trouble and left hungry. Please raise your voice against racism!!
We had a good experience ordering take out from this restaurant. The owner was friendly and provided helpful advice on potential entrees for us to share. We opted for the butter chicken - the food was ready quickly and was very tasty.
We visited from out of town and stopped by to have butter chicken. The meal was (Tasted really good with all the flavours, not spicy). I believe we chatted with the owner, he was friendly and did all he could to ensure we were happy.
We drive from Guelph to Fergus because it is the best Indian food around!
Best Indian food. If you like (very) spicy try the Vindaloo! Its a favourite in our house
I love this place wish it was closer to where I live Dietary restrictions: They have lots of gluten free options Food : 5/5 |
What a nice hidden gem! I have returned again with my wife since finding this restaurant this year. I have been enjoying Indian food for over 40 years in Canada and in Europe. Their nan bread is authentically made on site in a clay oven which you don t always find. The korma is a beautiful mixture of spices and a touch of sweetness that I like. Their appetizer sampler I would recommend as it gives such a great variety of many well known Indian appetizers and flavours I find. Their menu has a wide selection to pick from. You can eat in or do takeout here. Even more reason for me to return as I have such a variety to try each time from this menu. The staff always greets us with a smile and have good knowledge of their food and you can see and taste the great care that goes into it. It is a quaint place that was accommodating even when we showed up last minute without a reservation the first time we visited. The building has character and is warm and inviting inside, even with one table with a slight slant due to the old floorboards that adds charm. Rest assured the rest of the tables are all level it appears, but I do like the charm of the one that s not. This includes seating right by the the front windows that gives you a nice view of St Andrew street. Our servers are always very nice. Our recent visit we were served by Mohamed. He was very polite and takes time to not just take your order, but to connect with you. I felt his warmth and passion in what he does here. Which he said he has been operating for around 20 years here. I normally don t leave reviews, but after my recent visit I felt it was more than earned and well deserved. I would like to also mention that the late Sharif Rahman who tragically was taken from us in Owen Sound at his Indian restaurant this year had recommended this location in Fergus to us this summer, weeks before his tragic passing. He had said he had started here in Canada at the Tandoori Grill in Fergus. His food at the Curry House was exceptional and his knowledge in part was due to his experience in England, but it was also his several years of experience learning the industry and further refinement in Canada, at the Tandoori Grill in Fergus from my understanding that inspired him to open his location. I would like to thank Sharif who left us all far too soon for recommending this location and for the Tandoori Grill and Mohamed for taking him and his family under their wing when he started out here in Canada. Also I would like to thank Mohamed at the Tandoori Grill, for not only providing me a great place to visit but also the exceptional food last night. If you re ever in the area or like a nice leisurely drive out to a rural town that has many shops and other things to offer. Make sure you stop by at the Tandoori Grill for some great Indian food in my opinion and the pleasant staff and atmosphere It s worth the over one hour drive every time. Can t wait for my next visit!
Loved the food, service and regarding atmosphere, it was only us so that was ok. Plenty of options to chose from! The waiter offered suggestions as well. Will definitely go back Food
We LOVE this restaurant! Weve been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. There are always lots of leftovers to enjoy again the next day. If authentic naan and tasty entrees are your thing, this is the place for you Vegetarian options: I dont eat any meat, and have no problem finding plenty of delicious dishes here!
Service was really really really bad. Food even worse. Lady who served us was not at all friendly. Food was below average even I would say minus. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. Please avoid this place
My wife and I stopped in by chance . Some of the best food of that type Ive ever had. We were greeted as valued guests and served promptly. I recommend a stop . Im sure of one thing, I found a new honey hole that screams come try more , and I will
This is consistently the worst curry. We had Chana masala and it was unflavoured chickpeas from a can. Chicken korma clearly flavoured with sugar and not at all thick and flavoured. Lamb was just ok. We ve tried three times. Never again, sadly.
Absolutely delicious :) Good price. Friendly service! We got the dinner for 2. It was enough for my partner, myself and our two year old to all have a nice full plate and one leftover plate for lunch tomorrow!
I drove through a blizzard, blowing snow, road closures and white out conditions for this! It was so delicious! I would do it again no problem! The food was amazing! The family who operates this gem are sweet, wonderful people. Thank you for the chutney! Ill be a regular patron!
Great food. Never disappointed.
Wonderful Indian fòd. Service was impeccablr
I went to eat there I order for me. I want to eat in the restaurant but the lady refused and said they dont want to offer dine in for one. Because then they have to clean their dishes, the table and clothes for one. And she was really rude. It was a really bad experience and I never recommend this place to anyone.
We dined in tonight for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. The pakora was not the lightest I have had, but the flavour was delicious. For mains we had a lamb curry and the chicken tikka masala. They were careful to ask about desired spice levels and the food was excellent! The chicken tikka masala was the perfect blend of sweet and smooth, with the perfect hint of spice. My other half enjoyed his lamb curry and said the heat level was perfect and the flavour was great. We had some of the best and lightest naan bread I have ever had. The true standout was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, made sure to ask if we had any questions about any of the dishes, if we needed anything, and even to make recommendations when asked. It made for a great evening and we would definitely return again.
Maybe later in the lunch hour was a bad time to go there but the Tandoori lunch special was bland except for the pakora and the chicken was dry and not very tasty, though the portions were generous.
So awesome one of my favourite Indian restaurants!!
Expensive, small portions, horrible food. Never to return!!
Excellent food and service!
Excellent food, nice people. Great flavor!
best Indian food around worth the drive to Fergus
Tandoori Grill has been making consistently great Indian food for many years! A go to place for sit-in or takeout.
We had a short notice family get together dinner last Sunday and decided to make it really easy. Tandoori has never disappointed us. The food was great and the service at pick-up time super friendly and helpful. Thank YOU!
Got vegetable biryani and they dont even give raita with it! and its overpriced because there is no competition. Taste is okayish.
Very nice small place with very good food. Love going here.
Very disappointing. Given that rice and Nan is additional it was quite expensive. The butter chicken was bland and the sauce was like water. I am far from being Indian and I make a much better butter chicken in my own kitchen. They are a tandoori house yet their butter chicken is made from plain Jane chicken breast. A really good butter chicken starts with leftover Tandoori chicken and has lots of onions and tomatoes blended into the sauce to give it richness.
Great place to get some spicy lamb when your wife doesn t like it Delicious and prepared perfectly.
Wonderful and friendly staff. Amazing food.
The manager Nazir was great. Our food was very tasty and was able to go back to work with a 1 hour lunch.
Beautiful Experience, Great food
What a disappointment to Indian food. Raw rice, all vegetables made from same sauce. Couldn t taste any difference. Korma - I couldn t tell if I was eating Korma or sugary sauce. Least courteous staff. Only item worth eating out of whole dinner was lamb curry. Our 1st and last visit.
As a technician i was at,This place to fix a water heater after explaning what was done. The owner was very rude and started swearing for no reason and I told him The water temperature would take a while to adject to the set temperature. Dont recommend using a place like this. They have no respect for people.
Great food, Great people. Never disappointed when order. Food is authentic Indian style. Will keep ordering.
I only ever get butterchicken, rice and naan, but every time its delicious, perfect, and creamy. The staff is kind and the food is ready in 20 minutes or less. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing, I wish we could eat in more. Ill have to try some of their other dishes, but for what I have had, its 10s across the board.
Go here every so often! Food is amazing and same with the service. I usually get the chicken korma and or butter chicken (mild) but if you want a kick added they go out their way to please you. Nothing like great authentic Indian cuisine. Great addition to downtown Fergus.
I had previously rated this a 5 star. Covid has hit hard The Tandoori Grill very hard and thats not their fault. However... Things have changed at this restaurant. It had been a top five go-to for me for years now, and, in fairness, the food is still really good. But there has been a big change in portions. Perhaps covid related or temporary, but their meat dishes have suddenly shrunk. My wife and I used to order two mains (like a Chicken Pasanda or Dansak or Korma - and a rice dish). We would gorge ourselves and still have a full meal the next day with leftovers. Not anymore. The last five times we have ordered, we received a minimal amount of chicken which was insufficient for even one meal. This is very unfortunate. We have recently had a few orders where the meat was overcooked and rubbery. Last nights order was also incorrect, we received some vegitable dish instead of the mushroom rice we ordered. Nothing makes me sadder than seeing a restaurant that was a massive hit, slowly ruin its reputation but cutting corners and lowering quality. If they can recover and go back to what they were, Id be happy to change this review back to 5 stars.
Have been here many times over the last few years always had great food, the staff are always friendly and polite. I have never sat in and had a meal always take out even with Covid still great service.
Never a bad meal in years that Ive been going there
The best Indian/Bangladeshi food Ive had in and around Waterloo-Kitchener. Fergus is like a 30 minute drive from Waterloo and believe me this place is totally worth the drive. The flavours are rich and for people like me who enjoy fish/seafood, they have some unique dishes not always found in other Indian restaurants in the region. To top it all of, theyve just the sweetest hosts! Update: They now have a sister restaurant in Elmira which is even closer for the KW folks.
Best Indian food around love it
The food is amazing! The curries are all delicious. Were slowly gonna try as much of the dishes as we can. Service is great. They always have my order ready for the time stated. One time I didnt get through to them when I called and they surprisingly gave me a call back. That was totally unexpected. Definitely give them a try
Yum yum. Finally tried Fergus Tandoori Grill and didnt disappoint. We ordered butter chicken, lamb Dupiaza, naan bread and Chicken Pakora. Everything was amazing. Next time need to try samosas and other dishes. Service was quick and staff was super friendly and helpful when I couldnt pronounce dishes lol.
Amazing food.
Cute little place. Good food. Indian seal of approval
Delicious food! And super friendly service! I was impressed!
Delicious food, skillfully prepared to perfection. Excellent vide to the place. A true treasure in Fergus. A must try.
When you re a tandoori fan, you have to love fresh & delicious which is what you find here in downtown Fergus! Whether you pick up a lunch or dinner, the flavours are delicious.
Paid almost $7 for Mulligatawny soup that had next to nothing in it. Not much flavour.
Awesome as usual, great food great service portions filling and still had some for late snack. if your not willing to pay for good food then it is a bit more than popeyes or harveys but the food is awesome oh! did I mention the food is fantastic ...
Amazing food. Love the Chicken vindaloo. Good portion of chicken and potatoes. And it is proper spicy
Delicious as always! Best Indian weve ever had!!
We always love the food here, especially the butter chicken. We make the trip from Kitchener for it :)
Looked like the most attractive restaurant driving by, and was not disappointed. Excellent food, service and ambience.
Whenever I visit my friends To and Sy, they usually order Tandoori Grills Take Out. So Ive had many of their dishes before. However, this was my first time dining in and I just loved it. The Food was so delicious - as usual - and the service - magnificent.
Very nice food, very nice ambiance.
People are super friendly. Its a very small space, located opposite to the I love Chocolate store and very close to the post office, Breadalbane inn. I did a carry out and had asked for spicy one. The food was well made, spices to order, hot and well packed. The food was lacking true flavor, it was hot and spicy but without much flavor. The vegetables in the curry were tooo big and lacked the flavor. The vegetable biryani was more like a palav or kichidi, nothing any close to biryani because the rice was mushy. The garlic naan was ok. Could definitely take a lot of improvement in terms of food flavor.
Always great food and friendly service
Amazing food and wonderful owners and staff. Highly recommend!
Slow service but really good food. Korma and dansak are amazing!
That Phill guy was awesome, served me food, made me food, so friendly 11/10
One of the best Indian restaurant in Ontario! Great food and amazing customer service! Yiu must try it if you are in town!
The service is great and the food is the best around.
The food was so greasy our family had a hard time with digestion. It wasn t authentic at all and was missing spices. We are definitely not coming back.
BEST indian food ever. I come from Montreal and we have family in Fergus. We always come to eat here and we love it. Its really the best restaurant in town and personally my favorite butter chicken ever. The samosas are to die for. Sooooo good!
Great food, good portion sizes and very affordable. We went here with friends and chose the group platter. It was great to try many different small dishes. We missed a bit atmosphere though; it was not much decorated. But we would for sure go here again for the tasty food.
We went here recently, got takeout and sat near the river near the restaurant. We got naan, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken. All of it was amazing, we were so happy with our meal. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
Would make the drive any night for this place. Best Indian food in KW area! Perfectly spiced dishes, fluffy naan, spot on paneer texture (this is v. important to me). The owner is absolutely lovely and always makes a point of chatting with my partner and I. If I had a dollar for every time someone said How spicy is it tho I dont like it too spicy I would be super rich. Yall... South Indian food, for example, is typically more on the hot-and-spicy side. But keep in mind that there are many provinces and cultures within India and as a result a huge variety of cuisines. Trust that these cooks wont do you wrong. Do everyone in the restaurant a favour and dont ask the how spicy is it question. There is spiced (layers of flavour, unlike our western cuisine) and then there is hot. Nothing here is particularly hot, so rest assured.
So good!
Delicious food. We drive all the way from Toronto. Great service.
Service is great and food is delicious, a favourite of my to dine at
Just went here for the first time tonight with my wife. The food was so good! The garlic naan was delicious and just crispy enough. The amount of chicken in my dish was crazy. They didnt skimp out at all which was perfect. We will definitely be back often now that weve tried it. Go early though because they get busy real fast. The amount of take out food they made while we were there was insane!
Best curry in town!
Tastes great!
Amazing food! Amazing service!
This place has delicious food and great service. I will definitely be returning!
Fantastic food. Better than anything in Guelph and surrounding area.
The food was served quite quickly... which was a nice surprise. The butter chicken was excellent. The biryani could have been spicier. The korma was too sweet for my liking but my daughter loved it. A small place but good food and service. A favorable experience.
Great food. A bit pricey since everything is ala carte.
Portions are small. But the taste is there
Arrived in Fergus (for the first time) from Mississauga around noon ... early for a 1 pm meeting in RBC. So, walked around to discover Fergus and came across Fergus Tandoori Grill restaurant. Went in and had a very pleasant discussion with Mohammad and confirmed that food was Halal. Mohammad, having been in business in Fergus for past 10 years, briefed us quite a bit on what Fergus is all about. We ordered a take out Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Tikka Masala which we would take with us at 2 pm after the bank meeting. We reached Guelph and had the meal with family...... The meal was fantastic ... Beyond expectations. We discovered that Mohammad had given us extra Chick Peas curry, Naans and salad.... We thoroughly enjoyed the food..... highly recommend this restaurant for the fantastic food and excellent customer service..... Thank you Mohammad and thank you Fergus Tandoori Grill ...... !!!
Good friendly place Happy to have visited this place good experience
The worst indian restaurant i even went. I order a chicken biriyani and it costs 15$. i was surprised how bad they can make a biriyani. Am a big fan of that food, and never experienced that bad from anywhere.
We have been to this location once and loved it. We will be back. Great spicey selection for myself and flavorful for my spouse.
The food was excellent and the server was very friendly. Recommend their Paneer Makhni
Excellent food and service. Very reasonable food pricing.
Its areal treat different taste a gem
Clean, exceptionally friendly, and most of all, the food was outrageously good. ....you should go!!!
Decent food but very expensive and small portions.
Asked who gets the tip? He answered quietly Management . Okay there you go. He openly said they focus on white business and hesitated to take an order. Wow!!!
Super friendly owner and good food
Great food, amazing service! I have always had takeout, food is amazing and always (hot temp wise)
Service was short and curt with us when we ordered take out close to closing. We knew it was late, but we needed to eat and the poor customer service sucked
Great food and service. Will definitely be back
Visiting Fergus, chose to try FTG for a take out. Service was wonderful adjusted the order to our taste. Had to wait till we got home to experience the delicacies...Next visit to Fergus we will try a sit down dinner. Looking forward to it.......
It was good , butter chicken alittle too sweet , but all in all not bad . Wont go back .
Some of the best Indian cuisine I have had. Its a little pricey. Basically youre looking at $25 a person. But its worth it.
Great service and awesome food
Nice
Fabulous! Nice staff as well.
Good food and good service!
Ordered tandoori chicken. It was dry and bland
Great staff loving people fantastic dish washer
Sooooo good. Ill drive out of my way to eat here.
Wonderful food
This is my favourite spot to get curry. I live in Guelph and will make the drive. Staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable.
We arrived @5:30 and a several tables were reserved and we still were able to sit at the window.it is a smaller cozy dining room and the Burgundy table cloths make the room feel more special . Service was friendly and efficient. ChickenTikkia was well seasoned and loved their RAITA. There is high demand for their take out. The quality of the meals is excellent.
Brilliant meal and our Romanian server was first class. Will definitely go back.
Excellent food and courteous service. Food is prepared fresh and portions are good. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes South Asian food.
Favourite restaurant in the CW area, incredibly tasty food.
Nice location. Cozy atmosphere. Killer portions and excellent food!
Legit Indian food. Nice staff.
Love this place, great food, always on time and courteous. Value for dollar is awesome, best Indian food in Fergus and area hands down!
Great food and friendly staff
Consistently great food & service! Have tried elsewhere but Tandoori sets the bar so high
Great butter chicken did take out so not sure on service
Consistently good Indian cuisine. Staff is always polite and quick. A go-to restaurant anytime Im in Fergus.
Simply wonderful! Great ambiance, a true culinary gem and excellent customer service. A culninary if you are visiting Fergus, Ontario
Fast, friendly service. Take-out available... call ahead and it will be ready by time you get there.
Love it
Excellent Indian food. This is our favorite Indian restaurant by far.
The food is great but if you are vegetarian you need to make sure they understand that in the kitchen.
Whoa! Hold onto your pocketbook!!!. Very disappointing if you are hungry. Food was served in small seriously portioned containers.! Our server made adjustments to our side-dishes that sounded good at the time. When food arrived, it was clearly disproportionate and a let down. Our glasses of water never refilled and service was minimal. I found most side dishes priced higher proportionate to the main course dishes. The waiter was dressed like a slob with clothes hanging out. This did not contribute to a nice dining experience. Not returning to this place and, left hungry!
Awesome is an understatement
Always hot and delicious authentic food.
Excellent south east asian food. Works well for groups of 4 with the Set Meal for 4. Youll get a nice variety of appetizers and many different dishes to try all for a very reasonable price. Having gone multiple times with a group of 5 university students with big appetites, we can never manage to finish the Set Meal for 4 because of how much food comes with it.
The food here is SUPERB. Qorma chicken is probably one of the most delicious Indian dishes Ive ever tried. The owner even gave me extra samples to try. Extremely hospitable and professional service.
Tastey food
Picked up a few dishes the other night. Parking was okay, establishment was clean, staff was super friendly. The food was tasty for the most part but could have been more spicey. Was happy to see that the food was not drenched in oil. The Naans were super fresh and delicious. I would recommend the place. If you like your food spicey just let them know when you order.
Great food
