I recently visited Scozia with five friends to celebrate my birthday, and, unfortunately, it ended up being a truly disappointing experience. If it weren’t for the company of my friends, the night could have been a complete disaster. To start, the restaurant itself is undeniably beautiful with a lovely atmosphere—but oddly, there was no music playing. It felt strange and somewhat empty, especially given how visually appealing the space is. Our server, an older gentleman who introduced himself as “Chad” (though he was in a Halloween costume, so who knows if that was his real name), was honestly terrible. From the beginning, he seemed rushed and dismissive. Every time we tried to ask questions or explain any issues, he would hurry off before we’d even finished speaking, offering no apology or acknowledgment—just a quick “OK” and he was gone. What made it even worse was that the staff knew it was my birthday, but it was never acknowledged in any way. Not even a simple “Happy Birthday” or a small gesture, which would have been easy enough to arrange. This lack of care was really disappointing. To top it off, one of my friends received the wrong order, and when we mentioned the mistake to Chad, his response was nothing short of dismissive. He didn’t apologize or even acknowledge his error; instead, he brushed it off with a quick response and walked away. It really felt like he just didn’t care about the experience we were having. The food, sadly, was incredibly underwhelming. It tasted like something you’d find in the frozen aisle and then reheated. We chose Scozia because of its glowing reviews, but after experiencing it firsthand, I can’t understand where the praise is coming from. The restaurant was so busy that our food took ages to arrive, and when my pregnant friend politely asked if they could bring her a small piece of bread to hold her over, we were stunned to see they had actually charged us for it. I found that completely absurd. Overall, Scozia was such a disappointment. With average food, a rushed and indifferent server, a lack of acknowledgment for special occasions, poorly handled errors, and unexpected charges, it’s hard to say anything positive. I really wish our experience had matched the restaurant’s reputation because, sadly, I won’t be coming back.
Terrible experience. Decided to give a try. The bar attached (Ferguson Room Bar ) stank like old musty beer as soon as you walk in. So we decided to go to the the formal restaurant to eat. Sat us out in a glass enclosed space. Was ok. But the flies were terrible. Food was seasoned at all. Very bland. Server was nice. Food came fast but no surprised when you don’t season it. Never again. 1st / last
Waited for 35 minutes for an order of pizza and pasta and were never checked up on. We asked another waitress how much longer it would take and she said that that wasn’t normal at all and so she checked and brought it out immediately. She was the only person there that was at all kind or respectful us. Our waiter himself was very rude and when we mentioned the delay he made many snide and dismissive comments. Manager really didn’t do anything and argued back about the situation doing nothing other than “resolving” it with a 15% discount that only covered tax when the bill came, she just said she would talk to him after. Right after this interaction we heard him laughing in the back. Overall a shockingly negative experience, would not go back or recommend to others.
Amazing! The location was stunning. Music was pleasant and not too loud. Food was great. Service wasn't quick but neither was it unacceptably slow, and the young woman who helped us was awesome. I would go again when I'm in the area.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner, he has been here previously, and raves about their fresh locally sourced butcher meat. To our surprise the menu has been completely changed and is no longer representivie of the previous establishment. We arrived and I was amazed by the atmosphere, the place is gorgeous, there is a lounge, vestibule and a beautiful patio. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, we were seated and presented with the most digusting, dirty menus I've ever seen at a so called fine establishment. We took a look at thier wine menu and soon selected the Malbec Trivent 1/2 bottle. The wine was nice and decided to looked up the bottle, to find out the bottle is only 15-20$, and we paid 30$ for half the bottle. We were hopeful on the limited selection menu, and got the rib-eye for 49$ and the lamp and sausage pizza for 23$. The steak was requested medium-rare, I would say it was closer to a medium -well, but did like the flavour on the crust of the steak. The mash potato was cold and so were the seasoned veggies. The pizza was soggy and I expected more meat but the flavour was nice. Overall wasn't worth the $$$ for the quality of the food, I expected better. We also got the crème brûlée, which was not set all the way, but tasted average. I would not come back here. If you are going to charge almost more than keg prices, provide the keg quality service. Note - the out of the 6 apps, 5 are salads. If you are in the area, go to the pub next door. It's better in every way.
I really enjoyed this place! We stopped in for drinks and dessert, and it was not what I expected. The glass seating area by the patio was so nice, it had this cozy, warm and yet clean, upscale feel to it. The desserts were perfect in every way I could think of. The menu itself was beautiful, simple and definitely made me want to go back for a proper meal. I look forward to going back soon!
We really liked this restaurant. We wanted to visit it for a long time, but somehow it did not work out. Today we just popped in here for coffee. The coffee was very tasty and the crème brulee was great too. Staff is very friendly. Thank you!
First time at this 1850's heritage inn and restaurant. We had lunch on the patio outside. The inside was dark and dimly lit. Great experience and excellent food, reason for the 5 star. Our server knew we were in a hurry and got us out in sufficient time. We ordered the burger, poutine and shepherd's pie, one soda, price was circa $53. For the size of this restaurant, it has a one person restroom.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, the lady at the counter didn t provide any guidance on where to go, leaving us confused. When we approached her for information, she responded curtly and even scolded us about the lack of seating inside, which was both unprofessional and off-putting. I understand that staffing and seating issues can arise, but the rude and unhelpful attitude made the experience much worse.
Had a great Christmas gathering with our team from work. Awesome meal, we had a private room to ourselves and everything was awesome! Food
Delicious and tasty and more than enough food.
Curry was luke warm, had minimal sauce, and food portion was small. Guest who ordered steak and ale pie - crust was burned. Black on the edges. Guest who ordered schnitzel was happy. Large portion and delicious. He shared. We spoke to the lovely waitress and she got us more curry sauce and heated up our entrees. Spoke to the manager about the curry. Said she would tell the chef. Hmph.
We had a wonderful time. We were a party of 6. We all ordered steak. All of our steaks were cooked to each persons perfection. Zero complaints from our table. Make sure you have $$$.
Great place, we stayed at the inn, which was also really nice
Love this place. The food is fantastic! The vibe is also really nice. Whether youre on a date of there with family, its super nice. Make sure to use the upstairs bathrooms if youre into spookiness. It supposedly haunted up there!
My friend took me here as he had a wonderful experience the week before. Would have loved to try the food, but instead we waited for a waiter that never came while watching people get seated and served inside (we were seated on the patio). After about 20 minutes, we just left. Very poor service considering the restaurant wasnt busy at the time either. We were the only table for the first 10 minutes of being there.
Great green house room by the garden. Servers very attentive. Great menu
Amazing food and service
Glassed pergola room with stone floor and a decent view is worth going. The service was impeccable, beautiful, perfect. Vegetarian options: They have several options which my partner and I indulged in including pizza, pasta, and salads, including a vegan option.
Stopped in here randomly and had an enjoyable quiet patio lunch!
Enjoyed the ceasar salad and calamari and the Exceptional service from Norma.
A perfect spot for fine dining on date night!!
Staff is unfriendly. Take out meal I old. Nice interior. Typical small town aditude no competition. Food
Overall, an okay experience. Our appetizer came out without the peta (which was later brought to us once we had finished?). We giggled at this, and half expected it to me removed from our bill (although we did not request). My steak was good, but again the crispy onions were brought out late! I had already finished half the meal once they had arrived. The food was flavorful, but the co-ordination between the server and the kitchen was pretty embarrassing. I dont think we will be going back.
Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Fun dinner out with friends
Steak arrived cold. The pasta was too al dente.
Went here for Velntines day but was very dissapinted. Expensive food thats nowhere near as good as home cooked. If it cost 1/3 of the price I would give it 5 stars. But unfortunately just too expensive for what you get.
After looking forward to dining at Scozia since our recent move to Fergus, our first experience was extremely disappointing. Although the building and atmosphere were very pleasant, the food quality and menu items available were a huge letdown. After being told that they did not have any of the first 2 items we requested, we had to settle for a 3rd choice. The overcooked, cold, bland food that we were finally served 60 minutes after ordering was comparable to something you would get out of a can from the supermarket. The overpriced drinks were also substandard. Overall this was far from a $300.00 dining experience.
I was a bit disappointed by the burrata (I ordered it because the menu said it included peaches, but it was actually served with cantaloupe) and the hot fudge cake (it was chocolate cake and ice cream with zero hot fudge), but the tenderloin with roasted vegetables was perfect, and my partners pizza was excellent. I would order differently if I went back, but overall it was a lovely evening.
My steak was not cooked as requested otherwise, great restaurant
Awesome Christmas Dinner and fantastic service! Thank you!
Went for Christmas dinner.. was a big mistake..they should were short staffed due to the snowstorm so service bad.. food was ok but could have been way better. note witht the storm they should have cancelled the diner, people would have understood...
Did not have many meals that were listed in the menu.Had to rechoose 3 times from the menus. The waitress kept saying ah, we dont have that. Can you choose something else? She was laughing but it wasnt funny. I ended up with beef brisket and it was really good but not sure I would go back.
Overall a great experience
Pizza special on Sunday was fantastic.
Went here for my birthday celebration. A relatively new pastey chef has made excellent changes to the menu. Staff were pleasant and food was excellent
Excellent service ( thank you Sara), quality, & portions of food definitely 5*! Perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary!
I m loathe to judge a restaurant on one bad experience but it will be difficult to go back after last night. Seated at 6pm and ordered promptly. No sign of the food by 7pm despite being told it was being plated . At 7:15pm we gave up and left. I feel sorry for the server as she was very nice but there are clearly some kitchen management issues.
This place is absolutely great! Food was perfect.
The wait staff and hostess were welcoming, but no music playing. A good Italian restaurant always has music in the background. My fiance and I visited for our first time for our 6th anniversary. The first two courses, bruschetta bread and salads were good, but definitely overpriced for what you get. My main dish was spaghetti and meatballs. I took one taste of the sauce and it tasted like it was dumped right onto the pasta from a can. I tried one meatball...any good Italian knows that you shouldnt need a knife to cut a meatball. When asked how the first bite was, I expressed my dissatisfaction. An offer was made by the waitress to have me order another meal. The dish was left at our table. No manager came to apologize for the subpar meal, so that tells you how much they really care about making their customers happy. I didnt order another meal and my partner asked for a container for his meal, which did look more appealing, and we promptly left after paying the bill. They did not charge for the meal I didnt consume. We got out quick and raced down the street to Gente Restaurant where we consumed the most Delicious and authentic Italian spaghetti and polpette dish you could imagine! We needed more garlic bread to sop up their homemade sauce...so satisfying.
Went there for our anniversary.... it used to be are you celebrating anything special....... nothing asked.......we ordered appetizer along line of bruschetta ....my husband ordered steak with veggies and I a Cobb salad. ....it wasnt a bug menu snd very little Italian foods in it
Service sucked
Good vegan curry! Nice atmosphere and alcohol free beer.
The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice but the service was not good at all. Waitress was nice until we paid them couldn t care less - was given an additional hundred dollars to make change for a tip and then claimed it was lost and couldn t care less to help us look for it. It s less so about the money being lost and more about the attitude and behaviour. We spent a lot of money there and was disappointed - would likely would not return
Parking: Not many parking available. Food
Its the best place in Fergus to eat!
Excellent, delicious
Always excellent food with generous portions. Great staff and fast service
Sitting in their windowed dining area on a bright sunny day made for a lovely lunchtime experience. Varied lunch menu has something for all tastes and everything was delicious.
Food was excellent. Service was friendly. Portion size very generous, although there was no free bread as some restaurants would do.
It was my Birthday lunch with hubby, though it was very slow to get our meal. Over 1/2 hr wait after we ordered and there were only 3 tables seated with 1 already eating their meal. Yes we know restaurants are slowly coming out of pandemic mode, though we figured service would be a bit faster. We sat down at 12:10p approx, we didnt get our food till 1p.
Great food Great staff
Terrible service but food was good! We came in for lunch; there was one single person at another table and on the pub side - a couple tables maybe. Anyone, the ladies that served us (there were two!) really didnt seem too happy to serve us. It took forever to get our drinks which was only a pint and a coke. When we commented on it, we were told that the keg had to be changed. Pretty sure that doesnt take 20 minutes... Because the restaurant was so empty, we could hear the server ladies chatting to each other for a very long time after we gave our drink order. So yeah, I guess it can take a long while to change a keg if one takes awhile to even go and try to pour a drink in the first place! Even though the burger and fish and chips that we ordered were pretty good and the actual location is so historic and interesting, we certainly wont be back. The experience with the servers just killed the outing.
Wonderful as usual. Noticed the Cobb salad was smaller than it used to be and price has gone up to $21.00. but then everything has increased in price.
Amazing experience, would definitely visit again. The decor itself was soothing
Nothing spectacular No steak dinner available. Lots of simple foods on the menu. Friendly staff though.
Good food, staff is great
Sat on the lovely patio and had a very good dinner. Awesome service!
Fabulous Italian menu. Service is great. Have been there twice, will be back again. N.B. - also known as the Breadalbane Inn, see other recent review
Ive been to this establishment numerous times now, every time is such an incredible experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere in the food are incredibly unique for this area. Stop in and see for yourself.
Incredible example of caring about your guests. I was staying in The Herrett suite, which is beautiful. Got a call I was needed at home for a medical emergency so I packed and went to the front desk. Renee immediately noticed my distress, asked if I was OK. When I struggled with responding, she asked if I needed a hug then gave me one. Im tearing up writing this, Renee, you were a life line in a very difficult moment in my life. I cant thank you enough, you gave me strength that carried me all the way back home. My sister is going into hospice, her struggle will soon be over. Your kindness will always be remembered. Michelle
Great lunch experience on the patio. Both had salads, one Greek and one Beet and Burrata salad. Delicious flavors and great patio ambience! The gardens are beautiful and the shade trees give a cool breeze.
Waiting an hour and 15 minutes for food and still nothing, payed for our drinks and left.
Delicious food Very nice staff Good location Very beautiful place. Best food in this town.
First timers . Excellant service , food and atmosphere. We will return
I have been there 4 dinners before was OK. Had fish and chips 2 orders.worst fish ever so hard I could not eat. Fries terrible. Salad limp.
The staff was friendly and helpful- very much a customer service oriented restaurant. The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy
Lamb burger was just ok but over priced for what i got. A lil over cooked. Fries were extremely greasy and undercook.
Food was mediocre. Some kind of dill sauce on the vegetables that was disgusting and made my eyes water. It was also on the potatoes and beef making the whole meal inedible for the most part. Atmosphere was ok-ish and service was good. My wifes curry had potatoes in it which was weird. There was some kind of convenience store/grocery store door beside our table which ruins or takes away from the rest of the atmosphere.
Wandered in for dinner Saturday night. Lovely old inn clean with comfortable spaces between the tables. Great coctail offerings and the usual beers. Then came the food: perhaps the largest schnitzel ever served in a restaurant. Wafer thin. Tender. Flavourful. Pretty sure my german grandma was somewhere smiling. (During covid they went off their Italian menu...say they will be bringing it back soon. The kitchen is shared with the pub across the lobby...) Well worth the visit
Our waitress was lovely. Let us take our time to decide. Explained all the menu items clearly. Made sure we were completely happy with our food and experience. My first time at Scozia. Definitely not my last time. The portions were very generous, so no room left to try their amazing desserts. Next time I will have dessert first.
Great food and friendly service Dietary restrictions: The kitchen accidentally added an ingredient I asked to remove due to an allergy but were very quick and hospitable in correcting it. I would definitely visit again.
The food was amazing, I couldnt say enough about how much I enjoyed it. We had a work Christmas party and everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend.
Good food, nice staff and a beautiful atmosphere.
Awesome 5 star
Great food as always
Really enjoyed it. Salmon and risotto were very nice. Kids really loved their spaghetti and chicken wings. Staff was really great and patio was extremely pleasant.
Amazing food atmosphere and service xx
Great outdoor patio. Excellent covid set-up and food was delicious. Fast, friendly service. We loved it.
Food was good and a good portion for price.
It was amazing! Great food! Nice place!
Patio lunch was delish. Cant wait to return.
Great service on the cool patio. Tasty fresh meal.
Im so disappointed. The wings are over cooked, disgusting, the carbonara was full is something like beef gravy water, most beers is out, no pizza oven, service was so slow. We were told we had to leave by 7 as the table was booked. We didnt get our first drink until 30 mins after we arrived. Most taps were out. Even bottle beer was out. My friends use to love it but it has gone down hill. We wont be back. Dont waste your time or money. The was no reason to take pictures.
Amazing quality food great service and very reasonable prices considering the high quality of food. Outdoor patio looks like something out of a wedding magazine. Relaxed atmosphere and a great family destination. All the serving staff is very friendly and accommodating I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining experience mixed with a family restaurant vibe.
Awesome service, great food and lovely garden! What more could you ask for?!
Great patio at the side, awesome food and very friendly staff
Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. Well come back for sure.
Eat on the patio. Great setting. Loved the food.
What a nice little restaurant/pub, the pub is joined to the restaurant and uses the same menu, the owner has done a great job here with the decor, the place is very rustic inside and very cozy . Will be back the food was great!
Good service and nice atmosphere. Food was good. The schnitzel was so huge and delicious.
We had a quick lunch while driving through the Fergus. Nice decor, ( old hotel in the past) Would highly recommend the homemade hamburger and fries. Reasonable prices, decent service. Would go back when in town again.
One of my favorite places to dine. The food is consistently fantastic. However, my last visit was disappointing. The server had friends who were having lunch and she was very attentive to them, and gave us the bare minimum service.
Had a fantastic meal here. Try the escargot ravioli starter. The menu is challenging, skip the food titles and read the fine print. Excellent service.
Great food, very nice atmosphere. A little pricier but a nice treat.
Fabolous restaurant with really nice setting, excellent food, service and delicious desserts.
Excellent flavors and service
This restaurant was a nice discovery in Erin. Beautiful decor, nice atmosphere, delicious food - I had a beef short rib with mashed potatoes and vegies. Yummy. Especially the desert was outstanding - sticky toffee cake.
This place deserves to be on ur agenda, if ur around Fergus/Elora! The food is well thought out, and prepared, and any restaurant could learn something from the staff.. the customer service is par none!
Great find when Elora was crowded. Food was absolutely delicious. The building was interesting.
First time and found the ambiance very nice. Food was good as was the service
What an awesome dinner. We had bangers and chips and Chicken Caesar wraps and they were delicious.
Online the menu looked good: daily seafood, duck, grilled calamari. When we want there we were handed a paper menu that featured fried foods, wraps and pizza. If you re looking for a pub, there are a lot better places with a lot better pub fare. This is NOT fine dining, not even close. I had the brisket - it was disgusting!
Food has been great. Servers are indifferent. Same thing all four visits.
Great steak cooked to perfection. And beautiful place.
Beautiful venue... great ambiance! Delicious food. Friendly service
Awesome food. Great for weddings
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Had a pizza, lovely bubbly crust and fresh toppings. Would love to come back to stay at the inn as well.
Pub to the right, Fancy restaurant to the left, Inn upstairs. What a combo and nicely executed. The building is an old house or Inn. Beautiful architecture. We were seated quickly and welcomed by friendly staff. I had the haggis cannoli, which was delicious. Definately will come back. Want to hit up the packed and killer looking pub as well.
Im new to Fergus Canada, this was a fantastic restaurant, great friendly service and great value for money
Lovely room within the Breadalebane in Fergus. Great service, fireplace. Food is nice ..only had hummus which was super plain Jane but my friends salmon with butternut squash was great
A wonderful culinary experience.
Great service good food
Great customer service. Great speed of service. Great ambience, setting and music. Would go again.
Dinner was awesome
Wonderful atmosphere. Only thing I would suggest is outside in the summer, if your able to walk in the gate, have a sign to find a seat. But other then that, food is amazing, staff is very friendly
Great service good food gorgeous patios
Fabulous food except for BBQ pork. It was overcooked and too large of chunks for sandwiches.
Friendly and vintage place. Loved it! Food was decent.
Great food and service. Pub is cozy and Scozia is delightful, especially the terrace.
Best patio in Fergus.
Excellent menu selections ! Wonderful server !!
Great food and service!
Delicious food, beautiful dining area, kind staff, and reasonable prices!
Amazing food, price and atmosphere!
Just Marvelous
Nice atmosphere and good food.
Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff
We had a great first meal at Scozia. I had the tenderloin (med rare) and it was perfect. Great flavour, texture, and cooked as expected. My partner had the prosciutto pizza. It was a bit on the sweet side for my liking (still delicious, I just dont think I could eat the majority of the pizza in one sitting (...as mentioned, thats in my opinion. My partner on the other hand managed to eat most of it, with 2 slices left to bring home for later). We will definitely be going back again.
Great service and the food was delicious
I havent had a steak that this in years!! Love the food here....
Great place, nice ambiance, good food and service.
Disappointing. Service was poor and slow. The food was mediocre and the pizza was burnt. I had the Lamb with homade pasta. There were very few pasta in the dish and what was there were like bullets. Husbands pork was fantastic. We had to ask for bread and the ask for oil and balsamic. They forgot a drink and had to be reminded twice. Didn t clear the dishes. The place is beautiful and the staff were friendly just not well trained. Perhaps we hit a bad night. Unfortunately it was my birthday dinner. We were on s rine line and had no time for dessert.
Wife and I had dinner here, the staff were very nice and courteous, but the wait for service was often very long, which they apologized for. The food, while decent, didnt really blow us away either. We dont really get that many opportunities to go out for dinner so I would pick somewhere else next time!
The best Pizza ever .We travel from Waterloo to get pizza
Great food and service!
Fair enough vegetarian options. Had the medaglione (which the server mispronounced.) Possibly overpriced items, for the quality (though I cannot speak for the meat.) Affogato was quite disappointing.
I ate here twice and loved it both times. The mussels were perfect and huge!!
The atmosphere is wonderfully unique. There is a 12 foot tall statue of a Scotsman carved from a tree in front of the restaurant. The building was built in 1876 and is in great shape. The patio has a fireplace and a water feature. The price was a bit much (and I think it was more than the online menu), but I did not feel ripped off. The service was quick, accurate, and friendly.
For the people complaining about $12-$25 menu options, quit Tim Hortons and get better jobs. This isnt McDonalds or your local soup Kitchen, this is a place where you go to enjoy an actual QUALITY meal.
Lovely outdour patio quiet and intimate. The food and the service are amazing
Food was tasty and service was good however I have to agree with some other posters when they mentioned value. I ordered an 8oz tenderloin steak dinner and it rang in at 35 CAD for the plate which in my opinion is way overpriced. Depending on what you order it could be a nice evening out or it can get really pricey.
Food is good, service is painfully slow
In a nearly empty resturant, we waited 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and after an hour our food finally arrived, only to discover that our food was also very disappointing and tasteless. We should have stayed home and cooked instead.
Great rustic feel good pub grub!
Service is slow but food is good
The food was excellent - had the 2 way duck which was quite good. Had the roasted lamb which was tender and quite good. It was our anniversary and they treated us to free champagne. The atmosphere is quite unique and beautiful - I dont understand some of the negative comments - this is a great restaurant with great service and food. Highly recommended.
Great staff. Food is delicious. The patio is large and inviting. Definitely worth the drive.
A great place...lovely atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff.
1st time - from out of town. Can only comment on the two items my wife and i had. 1st was the charcuterie board which was quite large. Excellent meat and cheese. They had candied pecans, some tomato like dip which was great along with the olives and crackers. Barley finished it. Also received fochaccia and a tray of pickled veggies. Havent had pickled veggies in years but enjoyed it. Way too full so we split a pasta dish....not on website menu. It was a slim ravioli type pasta with wild mushrooms. Very good. Service was very good. The prices are very good as well. Fine dining ish. Highly recommend.
Go there fairly often. Amazing atmosphere even better food
Not the greatest menu selection, but what we did have was good
Food is to die for. You get what you pay for though... . Quite expensive. Worth it once in a while for a family treat.
Great food and service. We love to go for special occasions.
Absolutely loooove their butternut squash ravioli! Being served bread at the beginning of the meal is a nice touch. The atmosphere (especially in the solarium) is absolutely wonderful and very romantic. The service can be a bit lacking unfortunately - may come across as slow and inattentive. Friendly staff though!
Good food, okay service but over priced. I recommend sticking to the pub side.
Great food, decent portions, and a very interesting menu! Service is okay. Staff are incredibly friendly but seem a little forgetful. We had to ask several times for sugar, etc. We still do come back every year. We love the atmosphere and the food.
The food was average and the service was horrible the serving size was rather small and the price was too high
Have never been to Scotia but the Ferguson room is spot on. Great pub!
So disappointing. We went there on Sunday. It took them 1 hour to bring bread, and more to bring the food. The food was average with high price for the quality. We ask for ice, she brought a bucket without scoop, then we asked for scoop, she brought us a red cup and said we dont have any scoop. The service was awful. I order Trinity meeting for drink, it was Baileys with a little vodka, nothing impressive at all. Do not recommend this place.
Awful service. Waitresses were rude, food was cold and gross especially the fish and chips. Took close to an hour to bring the food. Beautiful place and has potential but no use of my time or money!
Tiny portion good food service sucks more ass then a toilet seat but they gave us a free piece of cake
Good food. Great server from parkdale :) bold pasta and a pleasant surprise in balanced flavour. And the richest truffles for a fair price. Would definitely check it out again.
