Pizza Delight in Fergus

Paid for extra cheese on everything and theres less than half a block of cheese together between 2 medium pizzas and large garlic strips that were supposed to have double cheese and cheese stuffed Was less than god fathers quality but more than double the price. Will not be coming back

Small pizzeria in the city center. The service was good, the pizza was ready in 10 minutes. There are no toilets, no tables inside. The pizza tasted quite spicy, although the menu doesnt say so. Decent place for a quick snack.

Normal pizza, you can eat it.

Always makes me wonder how you allow poor quality to leave your oven. If your dough is dead toss it out and eat the waste. Will not be back and this hurts as you always used to have great products.

The pizza was absolutely disgusting and not worth the money we paid. The sauce tasted like BBQ sauce. If I wanted BBQ sauce I wouldve ordered a STEAK. DISGUSTING

We visit Grand Bend a lot, this time we decided on Pizza. These guys are excellent. Donair pizza was ridiculously good.

Ordered 3 donairs , got something that looked like small pizzas, was disappointed about that.. then the amount of toppings was minimal. 48 $ with a 15 % tip.... extremely disappointed.

Once or twice a month Ill grab pizza etc for my parents and adult children and we will have a visit. The service here is extraordinary and the pizza is always so good. The owner has made me his own personal dipping sauce, and regularly throws in complimentary dipping sauces. He is so warm and friendly and his customer service is always #1! Highly recommend!!!

Woah a pizza delight they do still exist! After coming across this location we couldnt resist popping in for lunch on our travels. The staff was so incredible and welcoming. If we lived closer wed be here all the time. The food was delicious too. Food

We ordered 7 pizzas for like 30 people and no one had any complaints. The pizza was delicious and the cashier was also very chill and polite. Highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the area.

Ordered a large donair pizza. Pizza was delicious. The owner, I think was owner was very nice and enthusiastic. Even gave extra meat and sauce. All in all was a great experience. Next time in fergus, will definitely be coming back. Thanks pizza delight.

Made an order today for a pizza, and had a very polite, friendly person by the name of Yoesph On the line. My wife went to pick up the pizza with a 4 month old in the back seat. Yoesph even brought the pizza out for her! A++ service

Every time we go to visit the in-laws in Owen sound we stop here on the way home to Cambridge because the stuffed crust pizzas are the best I have ever had. We always used to stop at the mount forest one but it shut down. I honestly don t get why there are so few and why we don t have one in Cambridge. Sooo good.

Food tastes good

I was going through Fergus, on my way home from a cottage weekend. I called in (before they opened, ooooops) an order, for pick up. Talked to a young man who was absolutely so accommodating to fill the order, despite it being before their opening time. When I arrived, pizza was ready to go. Family run business, such nice people (father and son). Pizza was absolutely fantastic and done perfectly for what I ordered !! (and I m a tough customer, I worked at a Pizza Delight in 1987 !!) Thanks so much, you guys made my day !!

I hadn t had a Pizza Delight Donair in decades. I specifically went to Fergus to find one and it did not disappoint. The sweet sauce is so tasty, better than tzatziki, which is what other Donair places give you. The manager was kind enough to comp me a free order of garlic fingers just because he overheard me mentioning to my friend that I was from Moncton NB, where Pizza Delight started and the garlic fingers were to die for. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed!

We stopped by while heading back home from Elora conservation area, and were pleased with this little pizza place in Fergus. First and foremost the owner was incredibly nice and helpful we got a large pizza with a 4 topping promotion that came out to slightly over $20. After a long day of swimming we were really pleased to only have to wait for the pizza for 8 minutes instead of the 15-20 that we are used to after we received the pizzas the owner was overly kind by providing my younger brothers free drinks just out of kindness. The pizza was great the service was amazing overall it s everything you should look for in a restaurant.

The owner of this pizza place who served us the pizza we got was extremely nice, spoke clearly, understood us perfectly, and confirmed our order to make sure he didn t miss anything. He made the pizza extremely quickly especially compared to other pizza places, the food was a reasonable price and was extremely good. Ag the end when he gave us the food he offered us three drinks on the house. Overall 10/10 customer service, he was really nice and the food was perfect.

Wow. I see a lot of great reviews. I dont get it. I wouldnt eat here again if it was free. The people were nice enough but the two slices of pizza we bought went right back into the bag and then waste bin on the street. How do you screw up pizza? I have seen and eaten 3 to 4 day old cold pizza that put the Hawaiian slices here to shame. I must have hit them at their worst day ever.

Ive been getting donairs from this location every time I visit my brother in Fergus, Ive even gone out of my way to drive there. Sadly, not anymore. I went there this weekend and was truly disappointed. I ordered 2 large donairs and was told the wait was 35 to 40 minutes, I was OK with that because I love the donair. I asked the young man if they were new owners because i didnt recognize any staff. He said yes since December, and I have not been since before Christmas. My brother had not had a donair from there before but heard me rave about them. WELLL 30 minutes and 30 dollars later, we received our food and when he handed me an extra light bag, I said oh I ordered large, he said we dont do large anymore, even though the menu on the wall says they do. There may be have 5 slices of meat on the pitas. My brother said it was like eating a snack wrap from McDonalds. Although tasty, definitely not worth 30 dollars. My husband and I use to split the large because it was massive, or I would have a regular. The 2 we had combined didnt amount to a regular made by the old owners. Not sure why new orders like to ruin a good thing.

I dont know how long they let their slices sit but the ones we got were dry as wood and pricey! Wont be back.

A fabulous pizza - crispy yet chewy thin crust, the right amount of spice, tasty sauce and enough toppings to fill two hungry stomachs. Service was quick and pleasant. A clean and convenient location. First time at this Pizza Delight. Definitely recommend and will be a return customer.

Im from NB... when we learned there was a Pizza Delight in Fergus, we just had to drive an hour for my garlic fingers and subs... was delightful...staff were kind and helpful.

100% nostalgic, we recently moved into the area. We havent seen a Pizza Delight since the 80s and we were not disappointed. There is something about their pizzas that tastes similar to Pizza Hut but better and you dont feel gross after. I will definitely be coming back here even though by the time we get the pizza home it will be cold.. so worth it.

Horrible customer service. The guy behind the counter made our order wrong and blamed it on me. I was very clear on our order of a donair pizza and even questioned him on it before I ordered it. He just made us a donair and said we were at fault. No offer to fix it or anything just said we are at fault and thats that. Dont waste your time on garbage service.

So apparently Pizza Delight and their donairs are pretty big out in Nova Scotia. I have never had either so my boyfriend, who is from Nova Scotia, wanted me to try it and he was longing for a taste from home. So we made the hour drive out to the closest Pizza Delight. The man serving us was very nice and helpful but the other guy behind the desk was not. Not sure if he couldnt speak English or if he just ignored us but it was frustrating. We took our food to go and when we made it to our picnic destination and opened up our food, there was no donair sauce on our donairs. Apparently that is what makes them so good so my friend was very disappointed. It was a long drive to be disappointed.

Got the deal for 2 medium pizza. There was no complaints about the food actually the food was good but the attitude of the person serving in front was really bad. I asked about the italian sausage meat type and he was very rude to answer. The other lady though seemed to be very busy and the other guy were good but the older person needs to fix his attitude and have a positive vibe when talking to customers. Food is good though.

Just ordered 2 medium thin crust pizzas and the crusts were as thin as a crepes. The mushrooms were also sliced to thin you could barely taste them. We ordered here a few months back and it was delicious. Cutting corners now to save money perhaps?

having lived in the maritimes for a long time, i was craving some donairs.... just bought 2 of them from Pizza Delight and it was exactly how i remembered it. Great sweet sauce, spiced meat, and nice naan wrap. Will come again soon.

Customer service is not really friendly,but that s whatever. What i do care the most is the food I ordered. So we ordered donair pizza cause we didn t have it for long time,and we love donair pizza. When i used to work there couple years back, we used to put nice amount of donair sauce and pizza was delicious. Now we ordered donair pizza you can t even taste the donair sauce. And every time we order it s the same thing,and it s so expensive. It s so frustrating. Like you trying to save money on your sauce,but charging for pizza so much it s insane. Will not order pizza there anymore.

I recently went and had the Super Donair on a pita. It was delicious. . Everything was hot and fresh. The place was clean and staff was very nice. Definitely a new favorite.

Honestly the donairs here are better than many that Ive tried in Nova Scotia, very good donair sauce. Best pizza I have tried in Ontario, reasonable price, was done quickly and picked it up nice and hot still. The veggies seemed really fresh and Ive already gone back a second time this week for more!

Being from New Brunswick, living in Brampton, and not having Pizza Delight was torture until we discovered this location in Fergus. It makes for a pleasant weekend drive. (Fergus is a beautiful place to stroll on a nice day). Pizza is delicious and ma es me feel like I am home.

By far my favourite place to get pizza. Garlic butter on the crust and stuffed with cheese... Couldnt get a better slice.

The Super Donairs are fantastic, one of the best fast food places around. Highly recommend.

I usually support small independent businesses. Came here today for the first time. Got two slices. Oh boy they were horrible, stale. And made me really sick.

Nice pizza choices but it is take out only so doesnt offer combos that are otherwise available at other dine in pizza delight outlets. Pizzas are more colorful and toppings rich compared to usual pizza shops. But outlets are closing now. It currently has an offer going where u can buy 30 dollars gift card and get a 12 inch pizza coupon free. Go try it.

The Donairs are good, but its pricey. Edit: I have given them 5 out of 5 stars because I work in Toronto and my boss who loves donairs but doesnt visit Fergus in the winter asked me to bring some down. Because of time constraints I couldnt wait until 11 am when the shop opens, and Pizza Delight actually accommodated my request and opened an hour and a half earlier for me to make me 5 super donairs. That is above and beyond.

No pizza delight in Waterloo. So yes, every once in awhile I drive to Fergus for my donair pizza. I always call in advance, and my order is always ready and waiting for me. My pizza is always great, never yet had a bad one. Hope to visit again soon.

Pizza Delight has a unique way of making pizza with the classic sit down restaurant pizzarelli taste that I grew up with in the 80s. Almost the classic mothers pizza flavour is what Id compare it to. Very good pizza and their side dishes are unique and tasty. Its a little pricey but worth every penny. I highly recommend trying a Pizza Delight near you and definitely go for the signature pizzas. You can do the 3 topping deals too but the signature pizzas is where its at.
