Had dinner here after golf. I was disappointed with the pork snitzel . Menu said large snitzel, came smaller than my hand. Vegetables came burnt. Waitress said she will have new veggies done . They came raw and cold . Dish on menu said with sauerkraut came with no sauerkraut. Gave two stars because waitress was really nice. Will not return

I m not too sure why this place has such great reviews. The seats are not comfortable and the food tastes like it s been brought in frozen and reheated. This place is definitely nothing special, I would skip it even as a last resort. I gave it 2 stars because the waitress was friendly.

I didnt want to leave a review, as i dislike leaving negative reviews unless necessary. On the holiday monday, we showed up at about 4:30. We are a family of 4 with two children. We were seated with menus and was told our waiter would be with us shortly. We watched as three different wait staff served those around us (it was not busy and there were many open tables). Not once were we acknowledged. After 15 minutes and watching waitstaff serve a table (drinks and food ordered) who came after us, we left.

Horrible service. Went with a large group. There was a reservation so they knew we were coming. Place is dirty. Went to use the washroom and almost twisted my ankle. They had a mat in a dark dirty hall that was covering a floor vent. Food was mediocre. River was smelly.

First time at this place and it was actually really good food. The roasted red peppers soup they had tonight was delightful. I could literally lick the bowl clean. Food was good and portions were appropriate for price. Will most definitely be going back

I dont like bad reviews, for I have worked in the service industry. The waitress did not ever see if I wanted more or cared to. She acted kind while checking after 1 hour to see of I needed anything else. I sat for an hour watching her serve everyone else. I said nothing I just waited. Then after I ordered one drink I was asked by a different waitress if I needed anything. Wow... then when I paided my bill the actual waitress asked if I need anything else or am Im off?? Thats nuts ... Ive never been treated like that so I went to the Goody Noofy.... excellent!

As relatively new locals, we decided to try out the Brew House. The gentleman at the door saw me get out of the van and, when I asked if there was room inside, he said he d make room for our family of five. The atmosphere, food and service was exactly what our family needed. A true small town feel that we look forward to experiencing again for many years to come.

Only got as far as drinks. Waited 30mins for food to then be told the kitchen had just started the order. During the whole wait there was no update that the kitchen was busy or anything and no checking back on more drinks. The kicker was when we finally asked about our food and got the kitchen is just starting it there was no offer of free drinks or free anything. So we walked.

Had lunch on a Sunday of a long weekend. Great patio overlooking the Grand River. Burgers, fried pickles, cauliflower wings were all great.

TLDR: Terrible service - didnt get to try the food. Saw this place had good reviews and decided to try it before seeing a play at the Fergus Grand Theatre thinking 2 hours for a meal was more than enough time WRONG. Waited 25 min for drinks, 35 min to order. Food straight up never came and our server basically refused to apologize for the terrible service. We watched a table near us with about 10 people get two meals delivered at a time over a half hour span and knew we were doomed. So disappointed.

We made a reservation, once we arrived to the restaurant the waitress took us to a table at the very end of a room where there was a horrible cold draft. We asked to be relocated and the waitress ignored us. The food took over 1.5 hours to be served. Part of our food ended up on the floor due to the waitress rushing. All of this really ruined the experience. I don t recommend this restaurant at all!

Made reservations, seated in a very small area no room. Ordered 2 drinks all ice, then 45 min later I asked if we were gonna eat any time soon. Waitress looked at me like I had three heads? Then the chef comes out and says sorry for the wait, another 15 min or so. I said screw it Harveys it is thanks for wrecking our evening

Cute little tuck-away place to eat. the atmosphere is nice, and feels cozy. The two meals i had here were okay, as the wings were pretty overdone, and my fish sandwich was pretty bland. overall, cant complain greatly, as we still enjoyed our time and will be returning to try some more of the menu items.

Always a pleasure. All the warmth and comfort of the local well loved pub it has been created to be. Beautiful location with patio in summer, familiar faces, great food and special happenings. Definitely a destination if you are not from the area!! We have not rented a room as we are local but on the to do list. Nearby activities: Downtown Fergus with wonderful view of the river. Walkability: In heart of downtown Fergus. Food and drinks: Great menu with possibility of special offerings.

Everytime I visit here, The quality of food is consistently good. however the service seems to be hit and miss. Last week I went, mid-week because its not as busy as the weekend. We waited almost 40minutes after our meal, to get the bill. we had to ask a server that wasnt ours, because we didnt know were our waitress went.

Cannot say enough for the amazing evening we had at the Brew House. We went to celebrate my moms 80th birthday. They went above and beyond for us. We had 30 people in our group, food and drinks were served quickly. Staff was absolutely amazing in making sure we were all looked after and that my mom got a celebration to remember. Thank you we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

Its average, no huge issues, but also didnt wow me. Best part is the atmosphere of the building. Worst is that it took a long time to get food. Not enough to send back but, one dish wasnt as hot as it really should be. The vegetables looked like frozen bag veggies rather than fresh. Overall, the dish was satisfying though and the price was reasonable. Wait staff were very nice.

Had a reservation for 5 people at 6:15pm. Ordered our food at 6:25 or so- standard pub food with no extra requests. Service was lousy, we were not checked upon, and an hour later we were left wondering where our food was. We explained to the waitress that we had to get to an event at 8:00pm, so we asked to pay for our bills thinking the food would be ready soon. The waitress had no explanation why food wasn t out, and we were not given any kind of apology or sorry . We were simply told the kitchen is having an off night . After another 30 mins (the waitress had still not brought our bills or checked up on us), by 7:55pm, our food still hadn t arrived. We had to get up and find the waitress and explain that we were leaving and would not be paying for our meals as we never received them. We offered to pay for our few drinks, but she luckily told us not to worry about it. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don t waste your time visiting this restaurant.

UPDATE on Breakfast. We went to have breakfast Sunday morning. We were one of the first customers. Staff always great just a little tired at 830 am but understandable. We were excited to try the buffet. A good selection of breakfast items but most of the hot items were cold. That was a disappointment. They are probably working out all the kinks. We will try it again. I love the Brew House. What a great atmosphere. Always greeted and treated well by the staff. Service is prompt and the food is excellent. One time there was an issue with our take out order and the owner called us just as I got home. He said there was an error and he drove it over to our pace himself. A great location in Fergus to entertain friends, families or visitors.

This is our to go place. Our happy place , all staff our truly amazing food is great. All the new updates of menu is amazing. Nightly events our always fun to attend after dinner . Best fergus patio around

This is a go to spot for me, either for take out, dine in or work dinners. Unfortunately since covid the menu selection has gone down and some of my go to favorites have been taken off the menu, portabello burger, goat cheese and chicken pasta...but the food is always good, the Cesars are my favorite and Dennis and his staff are always welcoming and friendly.

My beautiful wife and I went here for lunch. The views are spectacular. The service was amazing. We had the fish cakes and the soup of the day followed by the salmon entree. Would highly recommend.

So disappointed in my visit today....hadnt been to the Brew House for a few years....previously when I lived in the area, ate here often and was NEVER disappointed...but today they were off their game....table was sticky when we sat down....my friends and I were excited to dine here again...we had all come expressly for the cheese and Ale soup....but that was off the menu, as was several of the comfort food selections I remembered...our server was really friendly and helpful...we ordered lunch...a Caesar salad, a veg bowl and some buttered chicken curry poutine, salad and veg bowl were ok according to my friends but my poutine was not....the cheese curds were cold , not melted and the buttered chicken was still frozen! (At least the chicken bits were)...asked the server to heat it in the microwave...which he did, and returned it to me a little warmer but as we all know, microwaves create soggy fries and hot and cold spots...so I did eat some of the hot spots...which was very tasty, the curry was just cold....the beer-on-tap list deserves an honourable mention...may eat here again but wont be a first choice any longer.

Went into the Brew House and waited for a waitress, to ask if we could sit on the patio. She said that they were short staffed and that was not possible in a very rude manner. I said thats too bad for years I have wanted to stop in! She said there was nothing they could do. I think its a shame to turn away good paying customers. She didnt even offer to make reservations so that we could come back another time. Lots of other local resteraunts that have great food and friendly service and appreciate the business....that I would rather spend my money on.

If it was possible, I would give this place 10 stars. Genuinely. This is the best place I ve ever eaten at. I ve tried multiple things on the menu including fish and chips, poutine, coleslaw, beef stew, mushroom spinach Florentine, brisket on a bun, California chicken flatbread, spin dip and their three desserts from the day I was there which included carrot cake, lava cake and a turtles cheesecake. Everything is beyond expectations and I honestly believe it is impossible for them to make bad food. Everything is the best of the item that I ve eaten in my life. The service is also fantastic. Every waitress I ve had has been very attendant and courteous. The owner was also very nice in the interaction I ve had with them. If you haven t eaten here, you re doing yourself a disservice. If you want to eat at restaurant within any sort of distance of this place, whether that be 10 minutes or 10 hours, change your mind and come here. Cannot praise this restaurant enough, amazing food, amazing people, amazing drinks and an amazing vibe/atmosphere with an amazing view. Thank you Brewhouse on the grand for giving me an amazing experience every time I have came. Will most definitely be back as many times as humanly possible. Vegetarian options: Multiple dishes come with vegetarian substitutions if that s your wish. Parking: Parking is close to building and easily accessible. Kid-friendliness: Family oriented restaurant, lots of ages there and everyone feels welcome.

Went for lunch. Seemed as if they were shorted staffed or something. Lunch was good, but the service was kind of slow - no biggie, really, but not great if youre on lunch break.

Stopped in for lunch and it was quite busy. There was only 1 young woman working as waitress and bartender. She did a fantastic job taking care of everyone and didnt even seem flustered. We were impressed. We didnt wait long for our food or drinks which we both enjoyed. Its a nice atmosphere right beside the Gorge.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Brew House on February 18, 2023. I was in town for a black history month event.. The room was very spacious and comfy. My view of the river was an unexpected added bonus. The restaurant was hands down, figuratively speaking ... more than I expected. The food was good, the service was exceptional, and the overall atmosphere was like home. It was warm and inviting, calm, and as an out-of-towner, I really felt...WELCOMED! This place is definitely someplace to add to your list, when in Fergus, Ontario. Food and drinks: Great food and drinks. Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options on the menu.

We had a great experience here. I had the fish and chips and my wife Carole has the special of the day vegetarian lasagne. Super impressed with the staff great team including the general manager who was busing tables and stopped by our to see how things were. Food was great. First time here won t be our last. Visited here yesterday for the first time! It was AMAZING.. the WINGS are delicious! They are massive and very flavourful. The view of the river is SO BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait to go back. You will most likely need reservations. We visited on a Tuesday and the place was packed. We got to sit and eat at the bar, and that was great also. Next time I am asking for a window seat ;-)

Was just there, asked 3 times for 2 beers its been 35 mins on the patio and still waiting! We were completely ignored. Tables that arrived after us were served and received there drinks. Bad service, rude employees and dirty. Will never come back! ZERO STARS

The Brew House is located in the very scenic downtown of Fergus Ontario. One of many limestone structures, the Brew House boasts tastefully decorated rooms, a patio overlooking the river, while being encased in the beautiful, aforementioned limestone. The food was enjoyed by all; fish and chips, brisket, falafel wrap, a burger, fish cakes, our entire party was satisfied. Our Server knew her job well and very competently met our needs. The kitchen was a tick slow in preparing our food, but it was well worth the wait.

Had a reservation booked 1 month in advance for a wedding party. They continued to not hold reservation or have food ready for when it was suppose to be. All we were told is we will ove some things around, which we still didnt have enough seating for everyone. Ended up getting food to go which food still wasnt ready on time. Food was ready 2.5 hrs after is was suppose to be ready.

Apparently a reservation didnt matter, my daughter booked in advanced for her sisters wedding dinner including pre-ordering meals. None of this resulted in dinner because they gave the pre-booked space away and failed completely in providing any service to correct the situation even with multiple opportunities with reminders throughout the day. The server had nothing but excuses and attitude to the point of rudeness.

Horrible meal was so overcooked it was inedible. Went for Mother s Day to find out they only had a brunch menu with 6 items, very disappointing. With so little on the menu, you would think it would of been fabulous. We got a sorry from the waitress when she dropped the bill, wasn t her fault but had she stopped by to check in at any point, I could of ordered something else. Don t waste your time or money.

A Fantastic breezeway patio over looking the river greets you. Once inside, you get an English pub on the Thames vibe! It has an eclectic local feel and the staff are very friendly. The dining room gives you the opportunity for conversation at a relaxed pace. I ordered the Creamy Chicken Ceasar Salad and a 9oz glass of white wine. The portion size makes it more a main dish than an app! I sat on the patio with some view of the river. The locals I met had great things to sat about the Brew House. The prices are mid range, but the food is well worth it. In my opinion, a jewel in the rough. Parking: I can imagine on a busy night (Tuesdays are Wing Night and Trivia Night) parking in front of the restaurant might be difficult. But the street parking is free.

This is the best burger Ive ever had in Canada! The building is really cool and has a beautiful view from the patio of the grand river. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. Will be back!

My fiancé and I went there and ordered a chipotle chicken clubhouse with a Caesar salad and a burger and another Caesar salad. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Both salads came with hardly any dressing. I returned my chicken sandwich and salad. My fiancé was starving so she ate her salad. Her burger is burnt and has ABSOLUTELY ZERO flavour. NEVER AGAIN. is the grease from the patty or cheese supposed to give this burger flavour and moisture??? Thank you for ruining my date night out during the long weekend. Nice brewery on Main Street of Elora but not many options for vegetarians.

Place was packed likely because Goofie Newfie was closed for the long weekend Sunday (we originally planned to go there, and it was not posted on Google that they were closed). Unfortunately, service was slow for us because either the cooks or server forgot about our orders. There were people who came in over 30 minutes after us that got their food before us. My mom was getting to a breaking point and I had to calm her down a couple of times (especially since the same thing happened to us at a restaurant in Goderich months ago). My uncle also eventually went to the server and she said they are prioritizing appetizer orders (even though one of us in the party of four ordered an appetizer). We didn t buy into it because the guy at the table next to us who got there after us ordered what looked like a regular meal. That being said, my food was pretty good, hence why the place gets two stars instead of one. I wish The Brew House the best in the future.

Very friendly staff (highlight!), nice atmosphere and good food and drinks. I was expecting a little more of the beer options, a bit more variety and less of the same (Mill St and other common beers). Still, they had a great one on the rotating tap. Food was very tasty - it is not cheap, but good quality.

We had an amazing evening. Last month during a festival on the weekend we called the day of to see about space on the patio for a group of 3. Even though they had a massive reservation coming they were able to find us room, and plenty of time to enjoy a few drinks, appetizers and main course. I had the brisket on a bun, and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best sandwiches I think Ive ever had. Friendly and informative staff, thanks so much, definitely recommend, fantastic food and drinks at a great location.

Despite the fact that there was an event going in town and the restaurant was packed, we had excellent service, and the kitchen was on top form. Excellent food. Good job all around.

We went here fore lunch on a visit to Fergus. Not knowing their were hosting a mid evil festival. The pub staff were very busy accommodating everyone who appeared at their door. we were seated in the hot sun so the wait was tedious but the staff was very apologetic when they serviced out table. Good food, Great location Noteworthy details: Not a Hotel. A great pub though

Salmon and broccoli was over cooked. Service was slow, and the minimum tip option is 20%. I prefer to have a choice on tip % depending on good or bad service. The sweet potato fries were good! I would suggest to only order pub-type food here if you are a foodie. I also wish they had more creative or unique non-alcoholic beverage choices (kombucha, mock tails, house-made iced teas etc.).

Service was really slow, the patio was busy but I barley saw the servers it was like they were hiding in the kitchen. Food isnt really worth the price, I got a sandwich and they definitely cheap out on supplies and quality. The nachos were really salty and its like they threw it together it 5 seconds with canned corn and beans

My Wife and I decided to take a cruise to Fergus to check it out and have lunch at the Brew House as reviews were decent. We arrived and seated at 1:30pm and restaurant didnt seem to be busy. Ordered a couple of beers and I was surprised that the Brew House didnt have more beers choices. Placed a food order right after and our server forgot to punch in so waited another 45 min for food and when it arrived it was cold. That tells me it sat in the kitchen for a while. Then to be prompted with a 20% tip was a slap in the face after waiting so long. Server was friendly but very disorganized . Used the washroom after eating and all I can say is gross. Urine all over the floor no toilet paper holder paper towel dispenser empty and both the hand paper towel and toilet paper on top of the toilet. I hope the owners can bring there sanitation standards up . We wont be back.

Table was super sticky, washroom situation was weird, food was dry and pretty bland. Neat place for a drink but only if you can snag one of the few tables with a view. A not-so-great dinner out could have been overlooked if the waiter hadnt added an $18 appetizer to our bill that we didnt order... We almost missed it, and mistakes DO happen, but the way he played it off was super sketchy. He didnt really apologize, he just made weird incoherent excuses? Felt like a mistake that we caught it, not a mistake that it happened... Then of course on top of that you are prompted to give a 20% tip lol. So if youre dining here, make sure you read your bill carefully!

We just stopped by for dinner, we didnt stay at the hotel. There was a live band out on the patio, and the food was great. We ordered the schnitzel and the brisket, and we were were extremely happy and full when we left.

Obviously this is my opinion of the Brew House from my 1st visit, though the rest of my family has been here. As for the food that we ordered it was fantastic, with the wings being probably one of the best I have had in a long time. We all ordered different meals and I grabbed bits from all of them and they were great. As for the service on our visit, it was fantastic with a very engaged Manager making sure everything was fine. The other tables seemed to be regulars to the Brew House and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is my impression of said place. And I would surely return.

I go to Fergus occasionally for work and always try and stop in at the Brew House for a meal and pint. Love the atmosphere and the view of the Grand River. Last winter I got surprised by a big snowstorm and was stressing about the drive back to the city. The staff offered me an overnight room at a great price. I didnt even realize they had rooms options available to stay there. The rooms were quite charming and clean. The trivia nights are always a fun time as well.

This is our go to place in town for patio drinks and lunch with an awesome view! The Brew has the best wings in town and the chicken club is always delish. The servers are friendly and efficient , the manager, Denis always goes above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and enjoying our experience. Lovely, warm , fun experience!

Awesome spot....we have stayed in both rooms and they are clean, quaint and convenient. Our fav spot close to home. The Brew House is fantastic. Drinks and food are super and Denis and his entire staff are so welcoming. They go above and beyond.

The brewhouse is the bomb. Great atmosphere good food and hospitality is through the roof. Everytime Im in fergus is a must stop. Cant wait to go back!

Me and my family recently came here for lunch . The service was fantastic, the people were friendly and the food was fresh and delicious . My family and I will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area . Big thanks to Dennis for making us feel so welcomed !

Awesome pub! Staff are friendly, fun and on the ball! Food was great and I so appreciated the offer to sit in a spot with the money view once it became available. Thoughtful! I ll be back and if I lived closer, that would be often!

We went on the Sunday of a long weekend, and despite being super busy both inside and out, we got friendly and prompt service, which given the amount of people there was well above and beyond what we anticipated. We also had what was the best Caesar we ever had. I didnt retain the guys name that served us but he was excellent. Food was great as well, it was an all-around excellent experience.

Great pub!! Amazing service. My wife and I visit Fergus every so often and stay at room above the pub for a couple of days. Denis and his staff make us feel right at home.

We are regular customers at the Brew House. We have been going there for years. We have been served by many wait staff , all have been friendly and attentive. The food is tasty and we have our favourites... Falafel Wrap, Greek Salad, Chicken WIngs and Salmon. When you come to Beautiful Fergus .. it is a must try :)

When we come to visit Fergus there are restaurant options to choose from but only one place makes sense the Brew House! It s like Cheers, everyone knows your name and if they don t they ll make sure they do ! The staff always makes you feel welcome whether it s your first visit or if you re a regular the service and atmosphere are unmatched. The food? It s hard to choose cause everything is delicious! Don t hesitate run to the Brew House for their large food and beverage menu paired with great hospitality. If you want a lil extra they do trivia nights! Props to Dennis and the crew for everything they do including for the community. Yes they are involved! Check em out, you won t regret it.

Ordered bottled lager the glass given to me to drink from was filthy. Had to go to the bar and ask for a clean one. Server should have seen this! Absolutely sure its the correct place. We were in for a meal with family that were visiting from Scotland,and I had to go through to the bar to get a clean glass. I will accept your apology though. Thanks

This has been my favorite pub for 15 years plus. We have been a hundred times by now and have never been let down. The crew, the food, the atmosphere, they have it all. Looking forward to my next round of wings and pints. Food and drinks: Try the wings. Youre welcome

Ordered two black coffees and they were luke warm. They warmed them up but couldnt drink because they tasted like dish soap. The washroom was filthy. Do not recommend. Had to give it one star or it wouldnt allow me to post.

A friend was getting married, and we decided to stay here even though it was a longer distance to the event. I can say with 100% certainty it was worth it beautiful views, lovely room with anything you might need and reasonable noise. Honestly, were planning our next trip already

Great food with a very friendly staff. Try the chicken Flatbread...very tasty with guacamole. Ecmxcellent sweet potato fries too, all with a Grand River view in a historic setting. This one is a winner.

Place was busy, but we got seated quick. Had the spinach and cheese dip to start, tasted very good. I had the slow cooked brisket for the main, with baked beans snd fries, it tasted very good. Staff were friendly, service was good, atmosphere was good. I plan on trying the fish and chips next time.

Great place to visit! The staff, the food, the drinks and the location will make this one of the most memorable resturants youll visit. The building overlooks the river and combine that with the preserved European charm makes the Brew House one of a kind. I have not tried everything on the menu but Ive always been impressed with the kitchen. Although the entire staff is fantastic you have to make sure to meet Denis (a gem of a human) he always goes above and beyond to make sure folks all well taken care.

We saw Crystal Quartz perform at The Brew House for bingo and drag show. Absolutely amazing!! Crystal is hilarious and made bingo fun and her drag performances were so good!! I was smiling even after I got home because I had so much fun!!! If you havent seen Crystal Quartz I highly recommended seeing her perform!! Definitely not for kids, adult show due to the prizes and jokes!!

The service was excellent but my pork schnitzel was soooo dry. Veggies were great. Id never ever get it again. All and all Id go back just because the staff were so friendly. Next time Ill order something else

Went here with my parents, 2 woman behind were seated after. They got served first. At least 4 waitresses working, didnt see 1 smile among any of them. Our waitress had short shoulder length blonde hair, spoke very little to us, not personable, no smile at all. Food was fine but the service was garbage P.s. I grew up in this area, the brew house has an appetizer called anijitos that have been around quite a while. They were tasteless, rolled up, tortilla with cream cheese in it. Such a fall from grace this place has become.

Sadly this visit to Brewhouse on the Grand was very disappointing. I ordered a power bowl with greens and salmon and it was very tasty but it took 40-45 minutes to get to the table. The bread was another 15 minutes after that. I had to keep asking for when my food would arrive as she didn t check in with me while I waited. It would have been a nice gesture if she would ve asked me if I d like some bread while I m waiting (and not charge me $2 for it!). It seemed the wait staff (at least my waitress) is inexperienced and did not work proactively or efficiently. There was a whole lot of walking back and forth but with empty hands. I m hoping this is a one-off as I ve been here before and it s never been like this.

Long time customer of your pub. My husband and I walked to your patio for a drink and apps. The patio had 6 empty tables but only one was a table for two and in full sun. The hostess told us the others were reserved although none had signs indicating so. We could either stay in full sun or eat inside. No option to move table to shade or otherwise accommodate us other than inside. Very disappointed. Went elsewhere. Perhaps hostess should be trained to be flexible in seating patrons.

We had passed the brew house for years on our way up north - my daughter thought it looked interesting and kid friendly - 6 of us for lunch. It took 50 minutes to get our food and it was ok but not great. The quesadillas were tasty. The table was not clean - it was sticky and needed a good cleaning. The floors/carpet on the way to the bathrooms was dirty and needed to be cleaned thoroughly. First visit and last visit. Our wait staff person was very good.

We love coming to the Brew House when we can for the atmosphere and amazing service. When we cant get out of the office, we still enjoy their takeout! Dennis - manager is always buzzing around making sure everyone is happy and that operations are smooth. Highly recommend!!!

I wanted to love this but we wound up paying for our meal before it arrived (4people) and leaving after our utensils were filthy and things were floating in our glasses. I politely explained I wasnt feeling well and we left. Our waitress was extremely polite and attentive and did seem rather busy. The restaurant itself needs a really good clean. The view is stunning and hopefully we just caught it on a tough day.

This restaurant is just beside Grand River. My seat is just beside a window . It is nice watch the flow over.

My daughter and I were traveling to visit family and decided to stop for dinner.What an amazing place!! The indoor seating is cozy and reminded me of an Irish pub! We were able to get a table on the patio overlooking the river. Our server and the hostess were very friendly and attentive. My daughter has food intolerances and everyone was so accommodating. I had the 1 pc. fish and chips and my daughter had the salmon. It was incredibly good!! It was one of the best dining experiences Ive had in a long time. We did have to wait an hour for our food, but it was busy, so Im sure the kitchen was slammed. Besides, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely stop back if I get the chance. Dietary restrictions: My daughter has severe intolerances to soy and eggs.

Thought it would be a wonderful place to go on a date , we re told we could only sit on patio waited forever for everything. Our waitress was very polite but way under staffed. Ended up taking our food in take go . Very unhappy with experience for the cost of it .

We tried the Brew House as we saw that it had 4 stars in n Trip Advisor. We were disappointed with the food and lack on cleanliness. The meat was dry and everything was dirty from the glasses to the plates and everything else. Unfortunately, we won t be visiting here again.

We ordered , 20 min later were told they did not have cauliflower wings. Vegan guest then ordered a burger without the patty with all the trimmings. Other guest ordered regular burger with bacon and gravy on the side. Nachos and wings with lemon pepper rub were the other orders. Food finally came, no bacon, no gravy no lemon pepper rub on the wings They advertise best wings in town! Worst dried out wings ever, no taste, nachos were dried and chips burnt. Got the bill and charged for two full burgers, plus bacon and gravy .Finally had bill resolved. We all came home and within an hour we were all in the bathroom with stomach pain. Will not eat hear again! Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wings on the menu and after the order went in they needed 20 min to tell us they didnt have any. Other choices are poor

It feels like travelling to Scotland to be in this pub. My husband and I visited when we were last in town and just loved it. The staff are so friendly and the food is just delicious. When we want to pretend were travelling to the UK well make a special trip to Fergus from Waterloo to eat here :)

If you sit on the patio its not too bad. Nice area. The inside is very cramped and dark. It took an hour and half to get our meal and it wasnt all that hot. The wings we ordered were $18/pound and they were the smallest 7 wings ever. Unfortunately do not recommend

Food was excellent, I had the beef brisket on a bunch absolutely delicious! Felt bad for the server there was a Halloween celebration in town and the restaurant was fairly busy. Apparently he was not aware of the celebration and to make matters worse was short staffed. But the server did his best and we really enjoyed ourselves will be back!! Cheers Bob and Dianne McCabe

It was ok. Service could have been quicker. We ordered water after we got food & he forgot to bring it. I ordered a coconut monitor. It tasted like bubbly water with simple syrup in it. Neither coconut nor mojito, no mint leaves. Food was ok.

Went for lunch. Was told they opened in 10 minutes and to wait outside. It was an extremely cold day with lots of wind. Hostess was very abrupt. Would not recommend.
