Amazing food, great service and beautiful atmosphere. Perfect spot

I have been to Tapavino 6 times. We drive from Niagara to visit this amazing fun restaurant. Food is beyond fresh and delicious. Tried many items on the menu. Loved everything! Service is always the best. Going back in a few weeks for my Birthday! Thank you Tapavino.

Had dinner at Tapavino before a show at the Grand. Small intimate venue. Robin was great helping us to decide a great selection of shareable small plates. Food was interesting and delicious.

Year after year we come here for all of our special occasions. Amazing food, atmosphere and service. We always try to book the front window and watch a constant stream of people walk in hoping to get a table. Make a reservation as many people try to get in. It is THE place to go in Fergus. Robin and Craig are the best. Thank you for always making this a wonderful moment and memory for us!

If you ever find yourself in Fergus, do yourself a favour and book a table to eat here. Robin and her husband (the chef) lived in Spain for a period of their life so truly understand the proper tapas experience. The wine recommendation was spot on and every dish we had was amazing! This was truly the highlight of our visit to Fergus. We wish Robin and Craig all the luck in the world for the future of this amazing restaurant! (please open one in Calgary lol!)

Tapavino is hands down, the best Tapas restaurant Ive been to in SW Ontario. Having been to Spain several times, I had the chance to try many wonderful authentic tapas. I had my first visit to Tapavino last night, where I was blown away by the impeccable service, and the food exceeded all my expectations. You will not be disappointed with this little gem in Fergus. Highly recommended!

Very good food. Small bites with big flavour. This is not a place to go for a quick bite but rather a dining experience. We enjoyed everything but the scallop dish and the lobster rolls were our favourite.

Best meal I have had in Centre Wellington in a very long time. The portions are great for sharing and the range of dishes will appeal to everyone s palate. A wonderful meal with lovely service. We will definitely be back.

My one star is for the lousy customer service. Unable to make a reservation as nobody bothered to answer the phone or set up an outgoing message stating that they were closed, including their website. Will not bother to even try again. And were supposed to support local!!!

The best in fergus weve tasted in many years. Not traditional Spanish tapas, but delish small dishes at reasonable prices at a very high quality. Great gin and tonic and wine lists

My wife and I celebrated her birthday with a leasurely supper. The dining room is small, but cozy, and filled up shortly after we arrived. I recommend a reservation. We tried a wide assortment from the menu and everything was high quality, beautifully plated, and very flavorful. Our server was the right amount of friendly, and answered all our questions with ease, including what the micro greens on one dish were (chives) and where they were sourced (locally). The serving sizes were perfect for two (and most of the tables sat two). Well be back.

I almost dont want to write this review because I dont want everyone flocking to this AMAZING spot. This place gives Elora Mill a run for its money. We took a chance on it one night and have been raving fans ever since. Quaint, cozy little restaurant with an amazing owner who knows everyone by name, knows her wines well and has created such a great experience. But the food, THE FOOD, is literally unmatched. Its made with love, you can tell. Heart, soul and love goes into every dish. Its presented well and the taste is out of this world. I dont think Ive talked to one person about the area without mentioning this place. It deserves all the attention of the fergus/elora area!

So delicious. My favorite dish was the chorizo goat cheese stuffed mushrooms. I had like a 5 course meal and still ordered a second plate of those mushroooms. Robin was awesome. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Its a perfect place if you like to share, but also if you just like to eat delicious food. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed Tapavino Wine & Tapas. The food was bursting with flavour, and the service from Robin was the best. I highly recommend it.

After a long day of walking around Elora and Fergus we stopped in here to grab some food and drinks. When we walked in we said phew were hot . The women greeting us said nothing she can do. We said oh no.problem were hot from walking outside. She told us to seat ourselves and we asked that the back table next to the windows overlooking the falls if we could have her prepare that table for us. We were in no rush. She walked away and I said sorry if were being a pain and she said you sure are. We got up to leave and said dont worry about the table were going to leave and she said k good because you werent happy when you walked in. Were the friendliest couple and we had a smile on our face the whole time. I cant believe how we were treated we. It was incredibly shocking. Now it makes sense why there was only 2 other people in the whole place. Incredible the owner responded to this with lies... my spouse and I are stunned once again. We were on a road trip with Guess Where Trips. Had such a fun nice day. Crazy to think one single restaurant can be so negative but everywhere else we went was such a positive amazing experience... I was dying to try the pork belly bites... oh well. Happy now we got treated that way especially after seeing the response

If you know what youre in for, this place is superb: wine and amuse-bouches. I wouldnt say the plates are enormous, but they are definitely delicious. The wine is good. Not a huge selection of by-the-glass, but careful and enjoyable wine choices. We went for lunch, so I cant speak for dinner, but we left satisfied. Fergus needs places like this among the pubs! The place is small, so make a reservation, but charming and located downtown. The service was good, though I would have liked if the server explained the wine a little more.

This place is must try location in fergus! the server is lovely (also owns the joint along side her partner) and the food is just as amazing! definitely worth the experience and will certainly be going back!!

Its a cute place with flavourful food. Delicious, actually. The server was very helpful and friendly. I didnt have the wine but my friends tried a couple and enjoyed them. If youre looking for a place with a calm, chill atmosphere and have a craving for tasty bites, this is a good place to try out.

We had a fantastic time this evening. Four of us, a little pre-Christmas get together. Drinks and four different tapas. The food was, fresh and delightful the flavours amazing, drink choices were perfect and amount of service was dead on, not too much not too little. I will definitely be back. This is a little gem tucked into a small space on the main street downtown. Dont be hesitant to try it from the quaint signage and dark windows from the street. This place has some of the best fine food Ive tried in the area. Perfect for a date night, or special outing with close friends. The wine list is extensive. The staff is amazing.

A cozy and very romantic lifestyle Tapas and wine little restaurant. It s operated by a lovely couple. The business opened in the beginning of pandemic. Most of the very pretty and cozy decorations are made by the male owner. He is also the chef. We ordered various favours of gin and tonic. They are good with nice presentation. We ordered the Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus, Mushroom Medley on Toasts and Lamb Sliders. They are all cooked with passion. I highly recommend this place when you are in Fergus!!

We had heard this restaurant was amazing, and it did not disappoint. My son and I ---who love to share, taste everything and talk about every flavour and ingredient -- spent a couple of hours totally enjoying every dish we ordered. Each dish (we ordered 3 cold and 3 hot) was beautiful to look at, and served over time at a wondeful pace that allowed us to savour each one. I also found it quite reasonable for the high quality of the food. For six dishes and 2 glasses of wine for the each of us - it was only $122.

Absolutely phenomenal! This is one place your taste buds will thank you for! From the time you walk in Robynne will make you feel welcome and Craig the chef will make you want to return to Fergus for his cuisine. We cant say enough about the food from cold to hot tapas they were all top notch. We did try a handful of items but will definitely be back to try some more as they change the menu items seasonally. Honestly can not tell you what my favorite items was as they were all truly delicious!!

The food may look small portions but they are filling and perfect for sharing. They are flavourful, and plated nicely. The owners are super friendly and make amazing food! The atmosphere is relaxed and the design of the restauraunt is elegant and classy. Deffintly will be frequenting here.

This tiny hole in the wall is worth every penny spent there. The food was outstanding and the wine list was very impressive. You can see the passion in both owners and I felt like I was sitting in a friends kitchen the whole time.

My boyfriend and I both agree that Tapavino is our favorite restaurant for date night. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and intimate, and the owners are so sweet. Its definitely a gem downtown Fergus and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next date night spot.

Amazing!! My wife and I dropped in for dinner. We had an open window seat at the front of the restaurant. The service was great and very personable. The food was fantastic. The tapas menu offers so many tastes and flavours and options. We had some help from our server picking a great wine and finished it all off with dessert. Everything on the menu is handmade. We will definetely be back!!

With a tapis bar, its all about the company you are there with and having good food, good service, good prices, good wine and being given the time to enjoy the whole experience. The food was great, very well presented, excellent flavours and service was impeccable. Timing between dishes was great..not rushed, each dish explained and each taste savoured. Tapis is not to be rushed, and Tapivino DO NOT rush you. A wonderful first time experience that I look forward to repeating!

We were visiting friends in Elora who said Tapavino was their favourite restaurant and now we know why. Had a wonderful evening with great atmosphere and the most gracious, friendly service that makes you feel welcome and special. Each of the tapas - cold dishes or warm - tasted unique and delicious, and which set a gold standard for tapas anywhere. The recommended red we ordered also just paired so eloquently with our unhurried servings of absolute deliciousness and together made our experience a memory which will linger a long, long time. We were a group of five, so we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes and it was difficult to decide between them for a favourite. The watermelon salad (from the cold selection), the scallops and the the tiger prawn (from the warm) were strong contenders for top honours. In all honesty the food was so good that I forgot to take instagrams! We had just returned to Toronto after a 20 year stint in Dubai and this was just one of the experiences that made our welcome back so very special. The tapas is world class, the wines top notch, and the service is friendly and easy going. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is a perfect blend of variety and honesty in its compact selection. Tapavino is bucket list material. Thank you Robin for making Tapavino an amazing experience. Thank you Craig for the magic you make in the kitchen. We absolutely love everything about the Tapavino. This is upscale dining with incredibly creative and yummy bite size dishes coupled with great wine in beautiful downtown Fergus. Owners Robin and Craig put love into the food and everything they do. You cant get any better than this place anywhere!

Everything we tried was a delight to our taste buds. We had the Gin and Beet Cured Salmon, Chicken and Single Malt Scotch Pate, Chorizo and Tiger Shrimp, Pan-seated Catfish Goujons, Cod and Pancetta Fish cakes, Andalusian Seafood Stew, Prosciutto-wrapped Asparagus, Spanish Meatballs, Pork and Green Onion Steamed Dumplings, and Mediterranean Lamb Sliders, paired with a flavourful Shiraz and finished off with the Tiramisu that our friends thought was one of the best theyd ever had and the Churros. The decor and service were very nice, too.

We stumbled upon this coze little tapas wine bar and cant wait to go back. The selection was a great balance of Spanish and local fare. The salmon was incredible. The staff super helpful and attentive. I love sharable plates and the atmosphere!

Every single things we ordered is amazingly filled with flavors, you can taste all the ingredients in each menu item, amazing. Keep on keeping on!

We had the brushchetta, bang bang shrimp, chorizo and tiger shrimp, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, cod and pancetta fishcakes, chorizo goat cheese stuffed mushrooms, and Spanish meat balls, We also had Pinot noir Backhouse or something like that. Then a rose cant remember which and then unoaked Chardonnay. Each dish we have had not only is beautiful to look at but the flavors are so well represented and well balanced. The food is so fresh and just absolutely delicious!! The wine list also well picked out especially when its by glass! Goes here and if you are a foodie you wont be disappointed.
