By far the best thai in welland. Love the authentic flavors. We tried the lemongrass tofu soup along with the shrimp rolls and pineapple fried rice. Try it out! You will not be disappointed

We were passsing by the area and needed food. We had two dogs in tow. Sae that they have a patio but no tables were set. Came in the store and was promptly greeted by the waiter. Asked if we can have a table at the patio due to having our doggies with us and they readily accomodated us. Food was amazing. We got a pad thai, the noodles were not overcooked and seasoned just right. We also got pumpkin curry which was creamy and flavorful. We are satisfied with the food and service. We are glad to know we have a great restaurant option when we are back in the area.

Do not get me wrong!! I love the food and have had takeout many times. Last Sunday my family asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday. I said I would love to go there because of the food. It was a total nightmare from the minute we walked in. 10 minutes for the waiter to come over to the table and then more till he comes back with our drinks. There was only one other table and two waiters. We ordered and twenty minutes later our spring rolls come out. I asked when I ordered for hot sauce on the side. Nope. I asked again awaited another 10 minutes for it. Twenty more minutes go by...as Im just about to walk out and two of five meals come out. Ten minutes goes by and I ask about the other three and he disappears for another five. Finally we all get our food and ate. When we finished the waiter came out with a coconut desert that I would never touch. At the end a woman came out and said she was sorry....but Im afraid I will never go back there again. Probably the worst service I have ever witnessed. Too bad the foods good.

Each time I visit, I try a new item on the menu and its always so tasty! They use fresh and quality ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Theyre also knowledgeable and proud of the dishes served. Great restaurant overall!

I apologize for the long post! So disappointed! I was so happy to hear all the good reviews on this place. Moved back to this area and was really excited to try them out on Mothers Day. I guess it was a bad choice! We walked in (we had made reservations) for 5:00pm they sat us down like we were unexpected ! Ugg Then we noticed people were lined up from the front desk to the front door These folks obviously picking up their orders! This should be a great sign right? But the line never moved! Well, we didnt get our menu or order taken for 20 minutes. Then were told once we placed the order it would be another 20 minutes, ok its Mothers Day I get its busy we will wait. While waiting we start hearing the mumbling amongst the pick up line customers they have been waiting an hour with no pick up insight. Other tables of customers were starting to walk out one after another! They obviously were overwhelmed and disorganized. People started raising their voices about the unsatisfactory service and wait times. But heres the clincher their phones kept ringing and they kept taking orders one after another! They should have explained they were overwhelmed and could NOT take anymore orders at this time. Instead they were making things worse for each group there and people coming to pick up. We finally got one meal out of 3 delivered to our table....it was the wrong thing. My son heard the other table describe what they were waiting on so he didnt even involve the waitress ( no where in sight) just took it over to them himself. We noticed they were receiving their meals at different times meaning they were all eating at different times at the same table. At this point its over 1 hr and 15 minutes. More tables were walking out I felt bad because they definitely did damage to their reputation on Mothers Day! We left too. I hope in all of this they learn from their mistakes hire the staff they need or correct their system of taking orders be ready and organized for a crowd on a special day like Mothers Day! I hope to try it out and give them a chance once again but not on a holiday thats for sure.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. It was midweek so the restaurant was not busy. We had great service and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We ordered two take out pad Thai with chicken. I was really looking forward to it but when we got home I saw that there were only noodles, some chicken and tofu. There were no green onions or bean sprouts. I thought that these were standard in pad Thai? I called the restaurant to let them know that the onions and beans sprouts were missing and they didn t really seems to care. They told me that they were out . They apologized but didn t offer any resolution towards the situation. I m sorry but it s expensive to eat out these days and if somethings missing or you re out of something, you should be letting the customer know ahead of time or offer some sort of discount/ voucher for next time. I was really disappointed.

Would give a one star rating today. Loyal customers. Fonthill known for poor cell , dropped calls. Order placed via cell and always starts with staff ( in this case a woman ) asking for phone number which was received. Food ordered but at the end when asked if anything more , call dropped. Guess they did not need my business as they did not call back on their landline. Additional 2 calls placed and finalized order with a man who stated would be an hour. Husband went to pick up and told order not placed. Always liked their food BUT no more . Your loss of a once a week customer . Will travel a little further but good service worth the drive !!

Good food. I ordered from the lunch menu and was impressed with both price and portion size. Food couldve been just a little hotter but otherwise, quite tasty. Server did a good job of handling our table of 6 and another table of 16. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Parking: Plenty of free nearby parking as well

Went there, waited 1/2 hr for service ... Nada! and that was after having waited, phoned while in the restaurant, rang bell at counter and knocked on their kitchen door, ... Whilst could see someone in the kitchen!!!!

Young thai catered a 15 person at our home. They first delivered numerous appetizers which the guests loved Then they delivered numerous mains Everything was hot and delicious. Then 3 days later 4 of us ate at their restaurant everything was again excellent. The only negative is the restaurant is a bit dated and needs a face-lift. Overall I highly recommend Young Thai

Came with a large group which they had lots of room for us. I think our waiter was maybe new because they were a bit shy and it was hard for them to kinda get things organized and take orders. But again we were a large group. Been here a couple of times and the food is really nice! Would definitely come back Food

Its an old Tim Hortons restaurant. They did a great job converting it into a Thai restaurant. Service was great, atmosphere very welcoming, and restaurant was very clean. The food was so delicious....I didnt have any to take home. Lol it was a big portion but was so yummy I didnt stop eating it. I will definitely be back!! I had the drunken noodles, bf had the green curry. Both were amazing.

Very pleasant staff. There was only one person seen. we were 6 and later came two more couple, Service was slow as every one on our table was not served at the same time but very pleasant person served us. the soup we had was very good. chicken and shrimps were in our main dish and it was fresh. but the noodles that came with chicken and shrimp was over cooked that I pointed it out. I would go there again as I like fresh food especially meat and chicken and if they are not fresh I can immediately know it when eating it. Toilet / washroom was OK. I would have loved to hear some soft Thai music and have sauce ( Tomato, chilli, and salt and pepper ) available at the table but not provided and I had to ask for it and took time to get it. Overall I like it and will recommend anyone would like to try out there,

Quite possibly the best pad thai Ive ever had. Not too oily like most places Ive tried. I dont know anything about how pad thai is made, but this is perfect. Crab Rangoon was also awesome.

We read the reviews of this restaurant and decided to eat here for dinner as we were in the area, I definitely recommend! This restaurant is wonderful, it s simple but nice and clean inside perfect for a nice date night, the service is impeccable and the food is delicious, definitely a must try!

Food is pretty good, however when you order pick up they tell you a time such as 20 minutes but it always take usually double, it would be nice if they give an honest time. This time they tell me 15 mins. It takes 45 minutes.

Food is great! We had the green curry beef and beef pad Thai. Lots of beef in both dishes. Pad Thai wasnt bright pink(which it should not be), noodles were cooked perfectly and it wasnt dry. The food was ready when they said it would be. I am from Hamilton and I cannot find a good Thai restaurant in my city. I came here by chance as we drove out here for a marketplace purchase. Both dishes were amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time here. Place is small, moderate, nicely decorated and pleasant tables with settings for dine in. Ordered a soup and basic green curry. Young kid I guess didnt realize I wanted the soup so just received curry. Was hot, fresh, most green curry around here is awful this was good, very slicey and flavourful, thou did not like the peas in it. My biggest complaint is the price $15 for a average dish with tofu, no chicken, no beef, tofu, seems alot for TOFU. Would I try it again, probally. Better than tasty Thai imo.

Well priced and very yummy Thai food. My favourite in the area. While I did not dine in, the restaurant was very clean. Portion sizes are also very generous.

Their lunch special is really good! My favorite is their green curry chicken and their pumpkin soup (which comes with the combo). I always get the same but would definitely come back to try the rest of their menu.

Amazing authentic Thai food! My mom lived in Thailand for years and said it was one of the most authentic Thai meals shes had in a while, everything we ordered was great and the staff were very nice!

What a nice surprise. We stopped in on a whim. We had a great meal. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Lots of options for veggies. I had the Spicy Eggplant. Be sure to get the Crispy Spring Rolls too. Delicious. A+ meal!

First time here. Atmosphere is pleasant. Staff and service are fast and welcoming. Prices are average for this type of restaurant. For an appetizer I had the Crab Rangoon. Ive eaten in a lot of Thai restaurants and they were easily the best I have ever had by a wide margin. Absolutely perfect. For the main meal I had Beef Broccoli in Oyster Sauce. It was good. The vegetables were very al dente for my taste and it could have been saucier but the flavor was good, the beef was tender and the portion was fine. For dessert I had deep fried banana with coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce; complimentary with the meal. A old stable done extremely well and a nice finisher to the meal. I would return again if only to have those amazing Crab Rangoon.

The stir-fry glass noodles is by fary favorite. Quick service, super clean, and delicious! Definitely bringing my family here.

The drunken noodles were good, sweet, savoury with a little spicy kick. Great fresh veggies. Had the Thai iced coffee, not sure what was supposed to make it Thai. I was expecting maybe some coconut milk but it tasted like a regular coffee, and it was very small for the price.

The food was absolutely delicious, the Thai beer was great, and they even gave a free mini dessert! On top of it all, the food was very reasonably priced and the wait staff was super friendly and helpful! Definitely going back We ordered crab ragoons and the bikini shrimp appetizers, and then two different mains - spicy Thai chicken and the orange nuts beef. A+ highly recommend!

I order take-out from here often and the food and service has always been fantastic. I called in an order on Saturday and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived to pick it up in about 35 minutes and was informed my order was not ready. It seemed as though they did not even send my order to the kitchen. When I asked if they had even started my order the lady told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I ran to the store and came back in 15 minutes. Still not ready. I stood there and waited another 15 minutes before it was ready. Once I got home to eat, the food was awful. My chicken pad thai had maybe 2 pieces of chicken in it and tasted horrible. Very disappointed with this visit and will sadly be looking for a new favorite Thai restaurant.

I was here with my family tonight visiting from Colorado and am pleased to say that we had a wonderful experience. My sister and I are vegan and were pleased to have our server (Dema) ask if we had any allergies or food restrictions from the get go. I had the pumpkin curry (which was amazing) and my family had nothing but good things to say about their dishes as well. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean inside. The food is presented beautifully, and the service was wonderful. Dema was the only server there and he was very good about checking on us. Didnt meet him, but my compliments to the chef

Ordered a curry dish. It contained way too much oil. I opened the container and there was literally a few centimeters of oil floating ontop my curry - separated from the coconut milk. I had to pour the top layer of curry off because there was so much oil. I couldnt finish my food. Im giving this place a 2 star only because my friends had enjoyed their dishes. I seem to be the only one that got this weird layer of oil.

They make the best pad Thai and mango salad in the Niagara area. Its located in Fonthill , Hwy 20 just below Pelham Rd. The restaurant is owned by the nephew of the owner of the renowned Young Thailand Restaurant in Toronto at 2 location s, one on Church St, the other on Jarvis St. So the famous recipes have been continued at this location.

Food was amazing!

Have been here numerous times and never a complaint. But last night the waiter was very slow, not friendly at all and he kept looking at his cell phone. Will go back food is great , but this time the waiter was terrible

These people aim to please. I got take out for my daughter and I. I have a nut allergy and they assured me that they could accommodate me. The food was very good and I had no problem. They also let me order their Thai Ice Tea. They didnt have take out for this, but I brought a refillable cup and they made it fresh for me.

Service is slow. Portions are alright size. $12 per Entrée. I love Authentic Thai...This is Thai with a Canadian twist. Pad Thi had very little flavor and zero heat. Wont be coming back.

The food was awesome....but we waited over an hour for our mains and the appetizer that we ordered came after dinner and after we reminded the wait staff three times. The restaurant wasnt busy but the take out orders were flying out the door...

Nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. Staff were polite and accommodating. Everything was very clean and up to date. If you knew the building as a Tims , youll find that it is hard to shake that image at first, the warm atmosphere will soon put you at home.

Outstanding authentic Thai (Ive been to Thailand twice ). Prices are reasonable and portion sizes appropriate. We had takeout but next time we plan to get a party together and eat in the restaurant. Its beautiful inside. Niagara residents - take advantage of a gem and support this business. Id like it to be around for a long time!

Went to Young Thai and the food was awful . I ordered crispy noodles with gravey but what I received was soggy noodles covered in a bad smelling liquid (smelled like urin) and veggies and chicken . It smelled really bad so we asked what was in it when the waiter came out he told us the base of the was soy sauce and fish but he said the chef didnt know the other ingredients that didnt really sound like gravey to me . Wouldnt recommend going ...EVER
