I wanted to visit a local coffee shop during my trip to Buffalo, so I walked the Peace Bridge to Ontario and Little Red was right there. It’s a quaint little neighborhood spot, wish I had one in my neighborhood. The drink was just ok, but I wasn’t expecting high level barista coffee. Wish I would have had time to sit and read, but I had to book it back over the bridge to fly out.
Great little coffee shop and though we did not sample the edibles they looked delicious and the locals pretty much snagged them. Would definitely make a point of grabbing another espresso Machiatto, it was perfect.🤔
Stopped in to grab a coffee while navigating customs clearance. Coffee was hot and delicious, breakfast sammich was exactly what I needed. 10/10 would drink coffee from here again. Staff was very accommodating, even after I accidentally spilled the coffee. Sorry folks!
The only things that saved this from Being a 1-star review is that this is a small business, the homey-nostalgic atmosphere, and the sandwich was pretty good. Long story short I waited nearly 1 hour for a sandwich. I was the first one in there and it got busy fast but I shouldn’t be waiting for everyone else to get their orders filled before they start making my order, and if you make someone wait that long the least you could do is throw in a cookie or a baked good as a kind gesture. Atmosphere is great, food was decent, service could be improved though. I would’ve appreciated a heads up or something because I was on a break from work and needed to get back, I made sure to ask as well if they’re even making sandwiches as I realized it was still early and there was only one person working. There was actually 2 but the other did not join in until it was real late in the game lol…
I recently visited a coffee shop by the lake in Fort Erie. The location is fantastic, offering a short walk to the beautiful lake views and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for a positive experience. However, while the coffee and food were satisfactory, neither stood out as exceptional. The real highlight of this spot is its convenience and scenic setting, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the view.
Little quiet charming hidden gem near the border. We went to Fort Erie and stopped here for a quick breakfast before crossing the border. I enjoyed my coffee amd the warm bread pudding recommended by the owner. He also made us perfect grilled cheeses. The place was friendly, peaceful and the owner was so friendly, he has an excellent taste of music too, from the play list he played while we were there.
Fantastic place to visit and grab a drink or chat an afternoon away. Great food, drinks and even swag. Its super cozy and I'm so glad I stopped here on my way to explore the rest of Fort Erie. Staff is fantastic and the sandwiches have just the right amount of heat. Parking is abundant in the area and it's near the waters edge with a great view.
Little Red Coffee in Fort Erie is a delightful local gem that exudes a warm, homely vibe from the moment you step in. This cozy café offers exceptional coffee, brewed to perfection and a menu of delicious baked goods, sandwiches and little bites. The friendly staff create an inviting atmosphere that feels like catching up with old friends, making it a perfect spot for both socializing and enjoying some quiet time.
Best hot chocolate I have tried
Best fresh made latte I have ever drank
I randomly stumbled on this place while in town for work and needed to grab lunch. I had the Robo sandwich (plain), with a green tea Macha latte, which was divine and an apple fritter. I will say that if you are in a hurry, maybe use the online option. If I happen to be in the area again, I would definitely be back. Friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere although I took my food to go.
This was a lovely, quiet, welcoming coffee shop with cozy atmosphere that gave a happy start -- and a delicious latte and cheese scone -- to an otherwise grey Saturday morning. Found it through google search reviews (looking for an alternative to a generic coffee shop) and it turned out to be just what we were hoping for. The friendly barista gave us great recommendations for the route to pick for the next part of our trip.
Food was good glad I waited. Give this place a try
Such an amazing place. Get the grilled cheese!
The friendliest guy works there. Get a grilled cheese, maybe a cinnamon roll, some delicious coffee or a cold local beer.
Amazing
The coffee was excellent. The service was even better. The owner was friendly, accomodating, and welcoming! I highly recommend!!
A cute little locally owned shop! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. With a few seating options it can be either a quiet place to get some work done or a place to catch up and chat with other customers/friend.
Super cute inside, perfect drinks, fun things to do also to pass time :) (mini table hockey game, books, etc...)
We love this little coffee shop! 10/10 coffee and treats. We will keep coming back
Delightful place. Simple, homely, friendly, atmosphere with great food and kind gentlemen serving. I loved the random, mismatched tables and chairs - even had a Fort Erie opoly (monopoly board game) available to play which tells you they arent in a hurry to have you have your coffee and move on out. A little blessing of a coffee shop :)
Nice little cafe. We stopped for breakfast. Very well received.
This place is perfect. Breakfast sammys are really good. Loved it and will definitely be back.
My go-to coffee shop! The most decisions coffee in town. Love this place
Amazing atmosphere!!!! Loved the music, coffee and service :)
Great place but I cant wait till 10am for my morning coffee. Need to open earlier.
Quaint little coffee shop. One of the highlights from a mini adventure. Recommend stopping in.
My wife and I like to support locally owned businesses. So after reading all the glowing reviews for Little Red, we decided to give it a try for lunch. I hate to say that I was disappointed. To start with, the place is not very attractive from the outside - it looks unkempt, scruffy surroundings with long weeds and uncut grass. It just needs some make over, outside and inside. There is no outside patio, as the ad claims, unless you want to sit among the messy junk under the back porch. The food was Ok, my wife liked the beet salad and we both liked the delicious lentil soup, but it would have been even better if the croutons were crispy, not soggy. My wife thought the turkey sandwich was boring. My Montreal smoked meat sandwich was pretty good. The cinnamon bun was very good and the bread pudding was a let down - not sweet, more savory. The espresso was very good but served in a paper cup is not classy. The hazel nut coffee was also very good, just a bit too sweet for my taste. I dont mean to be negative, just pointing out what could be improved, according to our observation. I wish them success and with a little bit of TLC, I believe they can do well.
Dropped in for breakfast, service was excellent, food was amazing, all for a great price. Coffee is best i have had in fort erie and the shop dog was so cute and friendly.
Quaint lil place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Fantastic service, in house baked scones, croissants and the coffee is probably the best in town. We will definitely recommended and keep coming back. Cheers! Food
My husband and I visited this little cafe on our trip to the Niagara/Fort Erie area. The service of the staff was amazing. The coffee was spectacular and by the far the best cup of coffee we ve ever had. I ordered the All Day Breakfast Sammy and my husband ordered the Robo sandwich. We also ordered a homemade bagel. Everything was prepared with love and care, and you could just taste it. Their challah bread is soft and buttery. We ll definitely be back whenever we are in the area.
A very nice place to stay, very friendly service and a good cappucino. Thank you
My favourite place in Fort Erie. Great food and drinks, stellar people. I stop there weekly and am never disappointed.
We loved the eclipse croissant special, wow, the best croissant ever! My husband loved his double-espresso. The atmosphere is nice, but the decor can be made a bit more lively with trinkets, books, etc. Food
Wasnt sure they would be open on easter Sunday, but they were. A highlight of our visit to Fort Erie.
Coffee is great! The Riverwalk Smoked Reuben and Peace Bridge sandwiches are amazing!!! Such friendly staff and a very cute place to dine in and hang out :)
Great little spot. Yummy coffee and fresh food. Has a Reuben sandwich for lunch it was delicious. Was also very happy to see the to-go cups are compostable .
It was nice to meet you today, the Peace Bridge sandwich was delicious!!
My wife, 7 year old daughter and myself stopped by for the first time today. We had coffee and donuts. All we can say is dont change a thing. Best cup of coffee weve had in a long time, theres literally no where else around that compares. The beyond donuts are a great pairing. The owner is super friendly. I absolutely love when we can support a local business but only when they are deserving of support. The Little Red Coffee shop is 100% deserving and Im proud to support such an incredible local establishment and owner!
Went here with my dad and brother. My dad and I are lgbtq and happy to support a business in the community. Excited to find a place with good matcha tea that isnt insanely overpriced. Food was very good and the little book library was nice Would love more board game options :) my friends and I love strategy games like carcassonne , stratego and catan or card games Vegetarian options: Has alternative milks for those lactose intolerant or prefers alternatives.
I am so happy this amazing little shop is in my town! Delicious food, Mmmm coffee... Incredible!! Service is TOP NOTCH and treat you with nothing but kindness
Kind service and delicious coffee. Im pretty picky with my lattes and this one did not disappoint. Will be back! Food
Very unique and retro coffee shop. Really friendly atmosphere and a great coffee.
A great little spot to grab a cup and go, or to stay and share a treat with someone special! Great music, great vibes, and great service.
Just found this gem! Coffee was top tier and the food, do yourself a favor and see for yourself! Great location great service! All around great vibe!
Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Little Red Coffee. Very cozy and welcoming vibe from Les and staff. Food and drinks made to order. We had The Waverly Sandwich and Veg Soup and the Rueben Sandwich along with a coffee and iced chai latte. All was delicious. What a gem! Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options available Parking: Parking close by
This place is phenomenal, the food is extraordinary and the owner is so kind and cares a lot about the food quality! 10/10 recommend eating here. They even have vegan options and offer a variety of beautiful drinks and pastries.
Fantastic coffee & great people!
Little Red Coffee is awesome! I always enjoy my purchase from here. The robo sandwich is amazing!
Great coffee and sandwiches. Ive been back for lunch multiple times.
Les was very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. He made a batch of premium fresh espresso for one of my chocolate shops recipes last-minute, while showing me the process. Thank you!
Stopped in when I couldn t find any other local coffee shops in the area. What a hidden gem! Quaint, friendly, perfect latte and delicious cheddar and chive scone. Was too early for lunch, but will make a plan to return to try their lunch menu!
Worth the visit for the soup alone! I had Butternut Squash with homemade croutons! So good! Cant wait to try other flavours.
A Fort Erie gem, I just stumbled upon this place and I m so grateful! You know when you can just feel the care that was put into something? That s Little Red Coffee. Also, the best Chai Latte I ve had. Great menu, reasonably quick service, and high quality product. I couldn t ask for more. If you re in the Fort Erie area, I d highly recommend you give them a try.
Wonderful little coffee shop in Fort Erie!! The coffee Is fresh, the baked good are fresh and delicious, and the people are super nice!! Havent gone back to Tim Hortons/Mcdicks since! Support Local!!
Such a wonderful place with lots of options. Highly recommend if youre looking for a good quality food, and a cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal and a perfect coffee. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available Kid-friendliness: Dog friendly
So Ive been here for an iced mocha before, which was delicious. Today my daughter and I decided to get sandwichs. Omg, best decision ever. I got the peace bridge and my daughter got the Waverly. Both were excellent and service was great. Great little place to hang out for awhile. We will be back.
Really nice and intimate place. Great coffee and cappuccino. The Waverly Sandwich is mind-blowing if youre in for the sauted mushrooms. Peace Bridge was yummy as well. Although I forgot to order it without hot sauce, wasnt too spicy, so I got to share it with my wife. Cant wait to go back and try new things. Great Local Coffee Shop that deserves all the support from our community.
A little gem. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great coffee and sandwiches. Definitely worth a visit.
Very small eat in area
Great little place. Vinyl records playing, friendly staff. More then just coffee. Soup, sandwiches, bagels, etc. Recommended! Prices are great!

Went for 1st time with friends today. What a find. Hope all of Fort Erie supports. Parking: No issues
Cute little place I just learned about. Friendly, welcoming crew members. Delicious chocolate chip cookies (according to my grandson). Plenty of parking. Retro decor. A place to sit and work if you like. I will visit here again when not in a rush and can enjoy the atmosphere of this cute little place. Parking: Parking lot located behind building with a good number of spots Kid-friendliness: Understood how important having a cookie is when you just need to have one.
The atmosphere is so calm, clean, and inviting. The food was good, and the coffee tasted so fresh! The gentleman serving us was friendly, and was very welcoming. We will be back!
Landed here looking for breakfast. Delicious coffee and great ambience!
Way better coffee than Tims or Starbucks. Great sandwiches and pastries too. Would give 6 stars if I could. Great place to support local!
Lovely little Cafe. Clean and fresh. Good selection of drinks, foods, snacks, liquor and ice cream even. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the London Fog hot and frothy, and the scone tasty. Parking: Not right on sight, but next door there is a large, free lot.
Been here many times and l keep going back.
Best coffee in town- their vegan options are on point, and I have returned many times. Friendly staff, so glad they are in Fort Erie!
My wife Sandra and I were looking for a long time for a coffee shop close to the area where we live. We finally found this place in Fort Erie, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a welcome smile, and immediately we felt at home. The coffee is outstanding and the variety of baking goods was delicious. Thank you so much for the great service, and we will recommend this coffee shop to all our friends. You deserve a 5 star.
Lovely spot for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of seating with great sandwiches! The peace bridge was delicious!
Great coffee and chocolate cookie was so so good.
Always amazing food and great service. The owner and staff go above and beyond. 10/10 I absolutely love little red coffee. I usually get the tuna sandwich with the soup of the day, let me say I am ALWAYS impressed. Simple yet so delicious. Don t get me started about their beverages! Outstanding! Thank you guys :) I recommend trying their hazelnut latte or hot apple cider. Perfect for a fall day!
Just the best soup!
I cant start my day without this place
A great alternative to Tim Hortons in the morning. I give a 4 for their attempt at bread pudding, which looked a bit better than it tasted, but there are so many choices available here, a better breakfast was had on my last visit. Have a nice patio on a quiet street.
Coffee had a great taste. The cookie was good as well. Seating arrangements are a little tight, but the environment felt nice. Stay was very friendly and knowledgeable. Little hidden gem. A place you should all check out.
Great service and Delicious food
Enjoyed this experience so much!!! A really soulful place with a lot of heart and brilliant coffee. A must stop on your places to visit in Fort Erie. The owner and Master Baristi clearly cares about His customers and their experience here.
Best coffee and baked goods I have ever had!! The set up is fantastic and gives such a cozy and homey environment! The staff are absolutely amazing, super friendly and kind:):)
Good coffee and good service
Great little coffee shop, great friendly service, the coffee is good, ice tea with flavour shot was amazingly good, the cinnamon rolls were awesome, great spot, can t wait to return the next time I m in the area.
Great place! Great coffee, food and service. Well worth visiting.
Really good service, friendly lady, best bagels and coffee
I was driving by and happened to notice this new, quaint little place so I went in. I was greeted by a very friendly and upbeat server and the smell of freshly baked goods and coffee. Best cappuccino in town. I also purchased some fresh coffee beans and something to eat. I am looking forward to the menu expansion and the site of friendly faces with wonderful attitudes.
Staff was excellent and their iced lattes were delicious! Fresh espresso here cannot be beat!
So nice to have a coffee shop at this end of town. Very friendly owner.
Awesome little place. Great food been here twice already highly recommend this place.
Amazing coffee! An absolute gem and unexpected find. Great for cyclists as it s just off the trail. The coffee has a great kick- the real deal
My home away from home! A blessed respite from corporate coffee, thats community based and making a difference! Fabulous soups, salads, delicious AND healthy cookies made with artisanal care. Our weekly treat! Please make it yours! :)
Great coffee. Delicious cookies. Good service. I recommend this coffee shop
Had an Americano Monday afternoon. May have been the best Americano I have ever had. Will go back and support the indi coffee shop.
Fantastic atmosphere! friendly staff and homemade soups, pastries etc
A cute little coffee shop that greats you with a friendly hello and actually remembers you from your last visit. I usually enjoy my caffeine with a lot of modification.... but the owner has made me a few without sugar here that may convince me to go without in the future! All in all a great cup of coffee (or cappuccino, or cafe latte), a nice atmosphere and good conversation. Price is a bit more than your localchain stores but certainly worth the slight extra for the real deal instead of an automated powder mix as you may find elsewhere.
Delightful staff helped me out with endless support when I got a flat tire on my bicycle Truly appreciate you guys.
First time getting food here today. Ordered because of all the good reviews. My experience was fantastic! Prices were very reasonable. Everything I ordered was made fresh an tasted delicious. The tomato basil soup was excellent. Tasted exactly as if my Nonna had made it. 10/10. Will be back again and again.
Remarkably delicious breakfast sandwich and cookie on my first visit today. Great quality, value and freshness. Latte was well prepared with ethically sourced beans. Take out containers are biodegradable/compostable. A fantastic locally owned business worth a visit.
Ive been driving by the coffee shop all summer..so decided it was time to stop in. I usually dont buy a cup of coffee out. I brew my own at home and have a nice grinder for beans. I saw the selection of beans on the website and was able to try some coffee first..I really enjoyed it so bought a bag..very friendly and knowledgeable young man was there..and they have a turntable with records. My kind of shop. Will return for sure and support this local business.
Bread pudding was to die for and great coffee!
This is my absolute favourite place to visit when I m birding around Fort Erie! Great, friendly staff, food is yummy, the owner is awesome and the coffee is bird friendly so that s a bonus!
Just one word to describe this place - AMAZING! There are restaurants/diners which might have either good food OR ambience but this place has both. Not just good food but great food & calm ambience - something that one would want in a breakfast place. The owner is super-friendly and takes pride in his place. If you are in this area, especially as a truck driver stuck at customs, do visit this place. You will fall in love with it! Oh and the coffee just brought back the wonderful memories of Cuba! The chocolate chip cookie is LOADED with chocolate chunks .you cannot go wrong with this place
