Old Bank Bistro in Fort Erie

Everything was delicious but we did sit for an hour after ordering.

I ordered a fish and chip platter, the waitress apologized that the fish had all fell to to pieces, it was all in little pieces, tasted fishy and I ended up with terrible food poisoning, 3 days of extreme illness! I do not recommend eating there at all!

A very cozy small town restaurant. They have everything there from burger and fries. Porterhouse steaks and pastas. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is even better. Would highly recommend to anyone

Not really impressed, complained about a soggy flavorless pizza, and was told my palette was off( been a chef for 26 years), live music was nice but far too loud

Went to Fort Erie from Toronto for the Eclipse and we had the pleasure of grabbing lunch at Oggi s. The food was wonderful, we got the Oggi burger, margarita pizza, and cappuccino s and enjoyed them in the lovely indoor courtyard. The owner was our server and provided wonderful service and gave us tips on the region. If we re in the region again we plan on going back for dinner to try the pasta.

From live music, to food to the service everything was great. The pasta was light and not heavy, the decadent chocolate cake was sinfully creamy. The servers and I think he was the owner were great super nice and friendly. I have kept seeing the place from outside wanting to try the food. And today I had a chance to visit and I dont regret it. The Bistro lived up to the hype I build in my head.

Apps were pretty good but the mains were all over the place. Lobster that was crunchy, steak also over cooked. Thankfully the server/owner understood and compensated but still disappointing.

Saturday - Went to this Bistro for a large family gathering for two birthdays , the food was fantastic; plus, they had a guitarist playing who by the way was really great. Service was suburb, really friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal.

Food wasnt bad, friendly staff and a nice ambient setting. I understand these types of places can ring a couple bucks more but $11 for a tall can of beer is crazzzyyyy.

Just felt that the sauce was a touch under seasoned, and the wifes salmon was a tad over cooked. Will go back for sure, the atmosphere was totally worth it, service was amazing and the food was hot.

I liked the layout and decorating, but it was so cold I shivered throughout the meal and Im quite comfortable around 65F. We were impressed with how large the wings were, however they werent very saucy and were unseasoned beneath that. The skin was nice and crisp, though without being overcooked or dry. The fries under the wings were trash. My burger was without condiments, but delicious. It was more a steak burger. Nice char on the outside, great beefy flavour. I really missed a pickle with it, though. The roasted potatoes were perfectly roasted - crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside. However, they were completely unseasoned.

Food was great but service lacked due to being under staffed for major holiday

The food was good....due to the missing employee....the service was poor..no communication to advise the situation and no compensation. Will give it another try.

would not recommend, food is mediocre at best, service was terrible, very unorganized, host and waitress were arguing in front of us and other customers, overpriced, this was my second time going there thinking maybe my first time was dumb luck maybe caught them on a bad day, but no service and food were worse the second time.

This place is so cool! And the staff are amazing. My boyfriend and I met up here as he is in Buffalo and I live near the restaurant and we had a fantastic dinner. Our waitress even gave us complimentary desserts! Would highly recommend :)

My Wife and I had dinner here last night, and I gotta say I was impressed by how fast the service was. The food was cooked perfectly! We met the new owner Al who seems to be a great guy and the waitress that served us was on top of everything! I will definitely be back and would recommend the Old Bank Bistro for any occasion.

Food was great as usual. Never been disappointed going to the Old Bank Bistro. My steak exactly as ordered and our server Nicole was great as well.

Ate here for the first time today. The food was absolutely incredible, both for flavor and presentation. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back soon. Service was great and the owner is so sweet.

I went during the transition between owners for lunch. A lot of items on the lunch menu were not available but it was still good value, however we were informed the prices will increase. The server was ok but when I asked for no onions on my salad and main course I got onions on the main course and when I asked to have this fixed she stated I only asked for no onions on the salad. I guess I wasnt clear enough but I cant eat onions so I felt like a hassle having it fixed.

First time dining in Fort Erie and will definitely be back. Restaurant was FAB! The perch was brilliant Our server was great and handled my allergies with ease.

Ordered take out. Over priced. Asked for no croutons an a good third plus of the salad is croutons. $16 !!! Get real ! 4 coconut shrimp $20.... I know food costs are up but this feels like getting gouged! $40 meal!!!! Wont be back.

The live music is insanely loud and I live close enough that I cant sleep for midnight shifts. The prices are outrageous. The owner has yet to call me back. The Old Bank was never like this.

We had dinner here on our way down to Florida. The restaurant is in an old bank building. It has two levels we dined in the courtyard. The food was to die for. The servers were amazing. The night we were there they had entertainment a fellow played guitar and softly sang for the patrons. When we re leaving the owner ask us if we re locals, we said no we re are on our way to Florida he wished us a safe journey.

MOST STUNNING DECOR and atmosphere I have ever seen. It is a must see. It feels like it belongs to a metropolitan city full of buzz. (Pics in the reviews are nice but it is even better in person). Five Stars for the decor alone. The food is tasty and would appeal to most palates. Nearby you can go for a nice walk along the Niagara river after dinner. Idyllic little place. Worth the drive if you live out of town !

This restaurant was one of the best Italian restaurants that my family and I have ever been to. The servers were really nice and they allowed us to revive food after hours showing how kind and generous they really are. The food was also really amazing. The wings and pizza were top tier foods and I would highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Our waiter greeted us at the door and took us immediately to our table. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was interesting, and the food came piping hot, and in generous portions which made us both full and convinced that we will be returning again in the near future. 5 star rating was only due to the number of stars available! Food was reasonably priced and delicious. My perch was fantastic and plenty of it. It took the kitchen a long time to get our order out so if you are in a hurry, you might want to go elsewhere, but if you have the time, I recommend it.

This is a beautiful old restaurant created from an old bank, as the name implies. The vault door is still there (it would not be particularly easy to move). I had a full prime rib dinner, which included salad, prime rib, vegetables, potatoes, and dessert, for a good price. They also have good beer on tap (mostly from Taps Brewhouse) and a quality wine selection. Perhaps the most impressive part is the massive enclosed patio on the side. Ill be back.

Sen the reviews and wanted to give the Old Bank Bistro a try. I ordered Chicken Souvlaki ..... It was not fresh and dry as the sahara dessert, the Greek salad was good My date odered Chicken Alfredo Florentine...... The Alfredo sauce was watery..... The only good thing was the cold beer & Greek Salad I wont be back & will not advise others the try it.... This made me sad as I was really hoping for a good resturant in Fort Erie

It was a nice atmosphere.. our server was very nice the food was just ok steak was over cooked for me I ask for med rare and was full cooked potato was under cook the bresheata bread was delicious I had one glass of wine $10 a bit expensive..a little disappointed from 3 years ago to be honest.. This was mine and my boyfriends first time trying this restaurant and honestly I was blown away by how good the food was. We did the date night dinner wine special for take out. Fresh salad and 2 pasta dishes of our choice which they have something for everybody. I got the Tuscan Chicken with Gluten free pasta and the texture and sauce was so delicious!! My bf tried the Shrimp Diavolo he said next time he d take out the banana peppers because that s what took over most of the flavour but all in all we were happy 10/10

Awesome Experience. I look a good massive and burger and this definitely hit all the requirements! Fish & Chips were also really good and excellent pricing! For a full family outing it was perfecto and left us all stuffed! Well worth the visit! Super friendly staff and excellent service! Will be back soon!

Very nice server. Just loved the interior. Fairly large Menu. Great variety of Greek dishes, but not everything is Greek. AND the food was very very GOOD!!

We visited The OBB last Friday for their Lake Erie Perch dinner. It was nothing short of excellent. The way they prepare the perch is far superior than any restaurant in the Niagara Region. Our server Katarina was also very polite, friendly & looked after our every need. If you like perch you got to try it here.

Let me start this by saying, I am NOT a vegetarian. But I have just had the BEST vegetarian pizza ever. I am so glad they have reopened for dining in.

The food here is delicious. Everything that came to our table was fantastic. The only suggestion would be more wait staff. There was only one older gentleman waiting all the tables by himself for the entire restaurant. This made service slow, however, he was very sweet. It took a few attempts to get some water because the poor gentleman was running around all over the place. We would indeed recommend this place, and venture out to Fort Erie once again for this place. The food is really, really good. You d enjoy it.

My favourite Fort Erie restaurant. Staff are wonderful, food is great, and atmosphere is relaxing. We love eating in the covered alleyway where all the nice paintings are.

The atmosphere and decor are cgarming, unique and full of local history. Server was pleasant and prepared for our little group. As for the food, well everyone cleaned their plate! Great split pea soup.....all dishes were good, but the sweet potatoe fries were unanimously said to be the best ever.

This has been our go-to restaurant for about 2 years and weve always enjoyed it, despite the slower service. My husband and I used to go twice a week when our now almost 2 year old was a newborn. Tonight, I had an awful experience. My son and I walked in, waited to be seated for about 20 minutes - making eye contact with every employee and the man at the desk. We were blatantly ignored. In fact, an older couple walked in behind us, and right away, they were offered to be seated. The man had to walk AROUND me to ask them to follow him. I spoke up and was told he didnt realize we were there. HE HAD TO WALK AROUND ME TO SEAT THE OTHER GUESTS. It was unusual and kind of hurtful to be blatantly ignored, especially as regular customers who go here often and tip well. Even after being seated, we were never asked about the quality of our food/offered refills or anything. We wont go again and wont be referring people to go as we have in the past.

Figured we would try something different. My wife, very pregnant at the time, and I went for lunch. We stood at the please wait to be seated podium for 20 minutes while a waitress walked by and saw us on 3 occasions. And ignored us. We left. I sent an email to the owner to inform them after we left and never received a response. That says a lot of their customer service. Will never go back here and will make sure to tell everyone my experience.

My Girlfriend really loves this place. We go there every-time were in Fort Erie. The waitresses and waiters are very friendly and the our meals are always Delicious. I like it there because its a Romantic setting for us, the food is fresh and you dont have to wait forever for your meal. There menu has a lot of different things to choose from Seafood to Meats. I love this place. Food is excellent and it has an intimate yet casual atmosphere. Only downside is that it doesnt seem to be accessible for wheelchairs.
