Our family highly recommends City Thai! We enjoyed all of our dishes, from shrimp chips, to Pad See Ew, to beef Curry. The service is warm and welcome and very attentive. If you are considering going, definitely do! We will return again and again.

The food is amazing and NOT plagued by the issue of ketchupy flavours - its delicious and authentic!! Portions are craaaazyyyyyyy. Owner is very lovely.

Vegetable soup broth was in a very basic broth, similar to a wonton soup. Jasmine rice ought to have been fresher and more flavourful. The fresh rolls were nothing but pickled carrot, egg and glass noodles with lettuce. The only saving grace of this lunch was the squid salad which was seasoned to taste fresh and delicious. I will go back but will be careful to order more flavourful dishes.

Easily one of the best Thai restaurants my fiancé and I have ever dined at! We started with crispy chicken wontons, which were beautifully folded and perfectly fried without being greasy. Next, Thai Basil chicken and Massaman curry chicken. Every individual ingredient, in every dish (even the rice) was perfectly prepared and together they made a beautiful and balanced symphony. Thank you so much!

The food is affordable and the boss is nice.

The dishes were delicious and full of flavourful and a good sized portion. We had glass noodles, basil beef, fried rice and curried chicken. Server was knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I am looking forward to going there again.

I went to City thai tonight with my neighbor. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to City for making my birthday so special. What a great way to end the meal with banana fritters for dessert. Fantastic!

Came here for dinner with my mom and the food was amazing, so much flavour. The service was great, they were so busy with online orders but also so on the ball with every customer in the restaurant! The atmosphere was so cool there was so much art and stuff to look at. I am definitely coming back here again. The employees were so nice!

The experience was as good as the food. The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and courteous. I had the Pad Thai with a hot and sour soup to start. They were both incredibly good, generously portioned and well plated. I will definitely return there when I am in town again. I recommend this as a great place for a meal. This Thai restaurant is the best Thai restaurant I have even been in. The took their time to decorate the place with the theme, I felt I was in Bangkok for second. Very very clean and inviting. I regret doing a take out. It would have been nice to seat and enjoy the environment. Then to to the food and service. Was amazing, tasty and very nice. If you re going to cross the border at the Peace Bridge and need a fantastic place to eat with amazing food and great prices, come to City Thai. The green curry, pad Thai and beef glass noodles were excellent. The spring rolls and papaya salad were also a great start. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We came here pretty late but the staff were very friendly. We ordered a Yellow Curry, Drunken Noodle, Thai Fried Rice, Fresh Rolls, and Mango Sticky Rice. These were all vegan and extremely delicious! Would 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

My family has tried the mixed appetizer, basil chicken, basil fish and noodles. The food was mostly really good. And the customer service while at the restaurant is great. My personal favorite is the basil fish, large portion, crispy, seasoned well and the sauce is hearty. Just wish it came with rice for the price. Id recommend!

Delicious! Probably the best dish in our group was the green curry or the pad see ew w tofu. The tofu was so well done. We also got phaneang curry, pad Thai, and spring rolls which were perfectly crispy. Would definitely recommend!

Spicy fish dish is fantastic! Couldnt eat the whole thing so I had it for lunch the next day :) very succulent <3 I also had the large platter for a starter and shared it with a friend, its a good mix! For some reason my card wouldnt work the first three times but they were very patient :D Parking: I parked in the lot they share with CIBC. They have signed designated spots but sometimes people ignore the signs :( Street parking is plentiful unless southsides across the street is having an event or is especially busy :3

We had an absolutely delightful experience at City Thai! The ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly which made the dining experience even more enjoyable! We had the curry, sweet and sour fish, assorted appetizers, beef, Thai fried rice and mango sticky rice. The serving has really big portions and everthing was amazing! We hope to come back when we we visit Fort Erie again.

Ordered here so many times. Unfortunately my wife contracted food poisoning to the point of her needing medical attention. Public health confirmed malpractice in the kitchen. Looks like there have been more issues since with no corrections. Always loved eating here. Ordered weekly. Unfortunate we will not be back due to this incident.

I have had City Thai food two times within 2 days. Its absolutely by far probably the best food in town to date (my opinion). Recommend 100 percent!

My son and I got the Shrimp Tamarind and the Jungle Curry with shrimp and a side of jasmine rice. He says the shrimp is nice and crispy and that this is the best rice hes ever had. The Jungle Curry is one of the spiciest dishes Ive ever ordered at a restaurant--but thats ok: I was looking for something to warm me up on this snowy evening. If youre into spicy food, then get the Jungle Curry. Its teeming with a vibrant assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables and spices, all of which combine to jolt the senses and awaken the palate from its post-holiday slumber. What an experience!

This is my absolute favourite restaurant in all of Fort Erie, and maybe over Niagara Falls too! The staff is wonderful, the food comes out quick. The flavours are powerful! And best of all, lots of options for veg / vegan and meat eaters alike!

The food is always delicious! The lunch specials are a great value, I can hardly finish all of the food they give you! I appreciate that if you dont like the soup that comes with the lunch special, you can substitute for an extra spring roll.

We had the lunch special that included hot and sour soup and a spring roll with your entree (a great value!) I chose the red curry chicken and I was not disappointed! The soup was excellent with the just the right amount of spiciness. The spring roll was nicely filled with veggies and noodles. My red curry had a perfect amount of spice and was loaded with chicken and vegetables. The curry sauce itself was very flavourful and was perfect in combination with the side of white rice to soak it all up. Will definitely go again to try out other dishes on the menu

Really great place for food and service! Visiting from out of town and saw the positive reviews. About half the dining room was full when we dropped in on a Monday evening so thats always a great sign. The server (who may be the owner) was very friendly and attentive. Loved the Thai iced tea, mango salad, Penang curry, and drunken noodles. Plentiful, delicious servings with good ratio of protein to vege. Very flavourful sauces and spicing. More than enough for two people. Definitely recommend for locals and visitors!

This place never misses! Since opening, weve probably visited a dozen times (both dine in and take out). The staff are always smiling. Portions are huge. Meals are fresh and flavorful. The restaurant itself is clean. And prices are very reasonable. Parking: Lots of street parking.

1 small order of Tom Yum Soup (take out) one bottle of beer (while waiting) the smallest soup container ever. Literally 3 tiny shrimp and 3 mushrooms cut in two. Nothing else in the soup. It was literally 1 cup of soup. I measured when i was home. I had ordered my food from Happy Jacks just down the street but wanted something different from their wonton soup so I decided to order my regular order from Happy Jacks and get soup from this place. I actually said to the guy working Not a lot of soup and he said It is soup in a very rude way. Maybe for a big order i would have gotten better customer service? . But that is not how it is supposed to be. Save your money, save your time, save your dignity and walk 100FT down the road and get Happy Jacks. This place is an absolute scam. 9 bucks plus tax for the soup and a 7 dollar bottle of beer. Plus tip (which of course i did). So utterly dissatisfied.

This is the first and only Thai restaurant I ve been to in Ontario that actually uses tamarind sauce in their Pad Thai rather than ketchup, with I prefer. I had the chicken pad thai and it was delicious; not too hot and the taste was perfect. Everyone in our office thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. This will be our go to place for office lunches as we are just around the corner. The extensive menu provide such a wide array of choices, we will be sure to try everything!

We were so excited for this restaurant to open in Fort Erie, and it definitely did not dissapoint! We ordered the combo pad thai and cashew nut chicken lunch special and chashew shrimp stir fry. It was delicious! This will be a definite go to for lunch again. Everyone in our office thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The portions are huge and there is more than enough left over for another meal.

Worst website ever....

This is the best Thai food I have had outside of a James Beard award-winning spot in Vegas. Better than Toronto Thai restaurants. My god it s so delicious. Crab fried rice and Pad Thai are standouts... everything so far has been insane. We have eaten here twice in the last week.

By far the best Thai food I have had in long time. All 5 dishes we selected for takeout were very tasty with extremely generous helpings. Especially liked the Chicken Pad Thai, the pineapple chicken fried rice and the mango salad. Great selection of dishes to chose from. I hope this restaurant is successful .

Full disclosure I am acquainted with the owner of the restaurant. Its also a new restaurant in Fort Erie. The food is always fresh, no microwave no pre cooked. It is originally Thai food. You can get very hot spices. Just not for me. The service is very good. Very clean establishment. It is following the covid-19 requirements. You can book for reservations. And I do recommend.

We picked up takeout today from City Thai and it was sooooooooooo delicious!! Everything was seasoned so well and the portions were so big. We had the Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Fried Rice & Chicken Thai Wontons. Looking forward to having leftovers tomorrow! We will definitely be back.

Not what I was hoping for food was just ok

As an asian born, half thai, this is the real deal. My memories brought back to the present. The tamarind fish and mango sticky rice are the bomb.

Ordered Thai spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai, chicken pad Thai, and drunken noodles with beef. Spring rolls were very good, crunchy and packed full of the good stuff and the homemade chili sauce had a nice vinegar touch to it. The pad Thai were huge portions and the chicken was nice and tender as were the shrimp. Everything tasted fresh but the drunken noodles were by far the most amazing. Such a nice level of spice and loaded with tender slices of beef and veggies. Large portion as well. I most certainly will be ordering again and looking forward to going in to eat as the place was beautiful. The guy at the front was very friendly and I hope the business does well. Looking forward to trying some green curry next time!

Loved this! Read about these guys in the paper just after they opened and the story was terrific. Fort Erie lucky to have them and fortunate a short drive from the Falls. We just moved here from Hamilton and had a couple of faves there. City Tai has totally surpassed them in terms of quality and great ingredients, taste and all at a good price. Our new favorite pkace un Fort Erie.

Best chicken fried rice Ive ever had

Went to City Thai on the advice of a friend, thank gawd for that friend! I got the Tumyam soup, Spring rolls and Egg fried rice. Ohh so good, the soup is amazing, the rice is jam packed and full of flavour and the rolls are great. I know I will be back. Even with just the 3 things I ordered, I have enough for a great lunch tomorrow. Thanks City Thai, I will be back, soon :)

My first time trying Thai so I called and asked them to put something together for four people. The bill taxes in came to $70 and it was worth every penny. This food was amazing and the restaurant was spotless and had a very serene atmosphere and the greeter was ultra-polite, well groomed and helpful. We will be returning with our business.

While waiting for a friend to cross the bridge, I had a memorable experience dining in this restaurant. Its incredible what a good chef can create with fresh ingredients and spices. A place to keep in mind if you are in Fort Erie.

My wife and I just started ordering from City Thai and we think the food is great. The staff is great there too. Very friendly. The prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend City Thai.
