This place is a must try for out of towners looking for a good place to eat. For both eating in or take out.
I ordered a combo for 1 for delivery. This was a really good portion size for 1 person with some left over for tomorrow's breakfast. The combo came with fried rice, an egg roll, beef and broccoli, and your choice of a main (I got the shrimp). Really good classic American Chinese food, it was exactly what I wanted. One thing I will note is that if you are looking to pickup or eat in Frontier Dining is now located in The Taste of the Orient Restaurant.
Just ordered chicken chow mein and a side wonton soup. The chow mein was like soup itself all watery and gross no chow mein noodles even in it worst chicken chow mein i have ever had. Wo ton wS edible but barely. Absolutely worst asian food restaurant I have ever has the mispleasure of ordering from. Do yourself a favour and order from elsewhere.

Food was okay. Half was really good and half was barely edible. Large portions and good value. Staff seemed not to want to be there and they didnt offer a large part of their menu and said that we couldn't order it.

Great lunch buffet. Typically serving all you can eat: egg rolls, spring rolls, won ton soup, roast beef with gravy, honey garlic ribs, stir fried vegetables, black bean beef and veggies, onion rings, fried wontons, chicken wings, stir fried noodles, vegetable fried rice; cake, jello, pudding for dessert. Lunch is only 14.60. Sincerely hope this helps. Though the service is slow sometimes for drinks, the food is generally quite good. Lately the chicken wings have been very dry due to over cooked. Still, it's a good buffet lunch. I mean, you can go next door for a $16 bowl of mediocre pho but why?
I had the buffet which was okay, but not phenomenal. A lot of the products were cold and tasted a bit stale. There are other places in Fort McMurray that I have had better food at. Maybe their fresh food is better so I would give it a second chance for that, but definitely would pass on the buffet.
My hubby and l just ordered here and amazing food, thank you to the staff. We will be back to order again. Awesome

Absolutely the worst chinese restaurant I have ever ordered from payed 10 dollars for deep fried wontons that came with no meat in them and when I called to tell them about it the lady started screaming at me
The quality of the food was some food the worst I have ever had. I suggest stepping it up a bit.
Enjoy coming here for wonton soup, love how its full of vegetables!!! Definitely one of my favourite dishes :) I will go and try the lunch buffet today!
Very nice food and services, friendly waitress. It is a very clean place for having dinner, launch and spend a couples hours there with friends and family. It is not an expense restaurant. They have a big menu with a big variety of food and drinks. Perfect Restaurant.

Called to place an order, the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and impatient. Poor customer service. Poor quality food.

Wong tong soup was not hot, probably microwaved, cant expect much from Fort McMurray, should of just stayed at the camp to eat.

Food tastes good but 11 $ for a serving of chicken fried rice that should cost 7$ max is a bit outrageous. Prices are very high here food is good but prices are very bad.

War wonton, chicken, bbq with broccoli was delicious. Whats lacking in decor is more than made up for in the food. Will reccomend to friends and colleagues
