I have not had a bad experience. My partner and I love coming here and have been back many times. Myself being half asian and in the north I do miss authentic food and there isn’t a ton of Asian food options here. This place is somewhere that I can get Asian food if I don’t go to Edmonton. I love their broths and options. There is complimentary vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal too that goes with the service. Will be back!! Always enjoy a meal here.

Theeeee most amazing experience ever! Just took my son there for his birthday and we loved everything about the place. You pick your own broth in a hot pot on your table with built in burners and you pick your meat and seafood and vegetables so you can cook it yourself at your table A cute robot brings your meat So cute! The food is super fresh and yummy! The place is super clean and cozy. Service was amazing! Love the decor too. Like big bird cages over big tables. And to our surprise, my son got a little birthday cake and a present. Wow! Absolutely incredible!!! Highly recommend it! Not too crazy expensive but soooo worth it!!! We will be back for sure!
Tin Tin Hot Pot restaurant in Thickwood A big don’t go. Very rude waitstaff. Took my wife and Daughter for supper. Waitress took our order brought our drinks. Robot brings your food. Kinda kool. $134.90 for 3 people so its not cheap especially for a meal you cook yourself. Waitress never came back to see how we were doing. I tried several times to get her attention for a second beer that I never got. When I finally flagged her down for the bill I gave her $140.00 cash told her to keep the change. She didn’t earn a larger tip pretty much ignored us the whole time. She took the money went to counter and come back and threw the change at us on the table. And no the place was not busy. I’ve worked for tips and she didn’t today was rude from the time we ordered. I don’t recommend the restaurant. Food was not bad but not great. Seriously not worth the price.
Interesting food experience....but I normally don't like to cook my food at restaurants....maybe it's for you . Good service and ambiance . Drinks only limited to japanese alcohol...
We loved the food here it was delicious, and the service was perfect too. Sometimes we like to go to the buffet to try many new and different types of foods.
I was there with my family on Christmas's Eve. The price was fair, similar to the same type of restaurants in Edmonton. The place was nice and clean. The robot servers were super cute. Pork belly slices were our favourite although I wish there were more authentic Chinese items like beef tendon, jelly fish, black mushroom, etc. Hopefully those items will be added in the future. Anyway, I'm glad we finally have a hot pot restaurant in Fort McMurray. It's much healthier for you than pizza or burgers. Overall I highly recommend the place!

I waited a long time to eat hotpot in Fort Mc. Tin Tin hot pot did not disappoint me, the buffet has many choices and many delicious dishes. Come to try and you will come back

40$ for bland broth and very little options for add ins. Would have been better and cheaper to find a nice pho place or something. Who wants to sit for 2 hours eating terrible buffet choices for 40$ a person. Not me
Very RUDE waitstaff (the short woman wear the glasses). Price $134 we pay cash$140 and I told her keep the change she said it s ok and told the coins on the table. I went there many time so this is my last time. Food not bad but service SUCKS
Just be aware if your going with a large family that if your not all ordering hot pot. You can not sit together. Our children had to sit by themselves. As they ordered the buffet. We wont be going back as a large family. 4 adults and 3 kids. So disappointing Food

Awesome experience and place to visit. The food was pretty good but found the broth could be more flavourful and the meat could be better quality. Otherwise it was fun and pretty much the same youll pay for any other restaurant, and its all you can eat. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies for the hot pot to choose from.
Not feeling the greatest so I got TinTin Hot Pot and OMG AMAZING!!! The Wor Wonton soup is like 5lbs of deliciousness they filled the whole cup with ingredients and then topped it off with broth, WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!

Really cool and unique dining gem in fort mac. Perfect for a date night or an outing with family or friends. Choose your broth base, order meat & seafood off the menu, pick your veggies/sauce from the bar and some cooked appetizer options from the buffet for AYCE in 2hrs. Broths were good for a simple selection, service could use a bit more tweaking though. Overall, good experience and value. Vegetarian options: No vegetarian or vegan options and no a la carte, only buffet style AYCE

Food was good, variety of different meats and sauces to try. Robot servers are a fun novelty. The only things we would add is that we think there could be more veggies - some bok choy, different bell peppers, celery (for example) would be great. Nice to see something new in this city. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
First time trying Hot Pot and it was an amazing experience. The person who helped order our meat & broths was extremely patient and nice. They have a great selection for vegetables, meats & seasonings for the broth. It is like a buffet, you cannot take the foods home and its all you can eat. I suggest doing rounds of meats, so you prevent wasting and so your eyes arnt more hungry than your stomach. They also have a good variety for Gluten-free options. They have lots of dumplings, steamed buns, spring rolls, wings and much more. Overall everyone left happy and full.
The food was tasty enough. You should go with a big appetite though. Service was just a tiny bit slow with drink refills but the place was packed so I guess they were busy. It was pretty nice actually with a pretty good selection of food. More expensive than the wife and I would normally indulge in but if youre going to eat a lot I guess its not a bad deal.
So glad that we have hot pot in Fort McMurray now! Been around 5 times now since opening and plan on making it a regular date/gathering spot for hopefully years to come! Marco and all the other staff were extremely inviting and attentive during every visit. Come hungry and with plenty to really enjoy and get great value from one of the best hot pot places!
Too espensive for a hotpot joint and the service is terible. Waitress dont help and take you order slip, drinks take too long to get filled and that lady from soleiki that moved and work there now is just horible dont care what so ever. I dont know why they hired him over there... over all bad experience wont be going there anytime soon. Dont waste your time
We have never been to a Hot Pot restaurant before and were excited to try it. It is a unique experience and the kids enjoyed it. There was a variety of vegetables and noodles to add to your pot. My only complaint was that the cooked food they had was very salty. Would definitely go back again for the experience.
Friendly staff, great food! As a picky eater, even I found quite a lot to enjoy. For what youre getting, the price is reasonable as well. Excited to have something different for once!

New food spots are usually the talk of the town here and Tin Tin impressed. The hot pot would have been sufficient, but the mini buffet and dim sum selection was a welcome addition. The robot server is a nice touch. I overheard the owners speak the native tongue and I knew we were in good hands . I have ties to HK and the GTA - this is the hot pot that I enjoy.
Absolutely loved it here! So many options to choose from for all you can eat. From the veggies, hot foods, along with the meats. I was not disappointed, and I can tell ya this is going to be my new favorite spot!

Just had dinner there. All I have to say is YUM! Easily the best meal I have ever had In Fort McMurray. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I can t recommend this place enough!! The robot that delivers the food to your table is a bonus! And if you end up going to try it, don t forget to give them a review!
Had a great experiencing dining at Tin Tin Hot Pot and so happy that Fort McMurray has a hot pot place! Staff was friendly, prompt and very attentive. Food was good quality and buffet stations were stocked frequently. Lastly, interior is nicely designed. Over all really great experience and would highly recommend this spot!

First time in tonight. Nice place very busy. Service was ok, robot waiter?, Not so much. Overall the food wasnt too bad, but the serloin was tough and the chicken was very dry after cooking. The veg was fresh, washed and not wilted. We really enjoyed the spring rolls and other side options. We found the biggest drawbacks were the price and we were not allowed to take our leftovers unless we paid for the take out containers. For 6 people thats an extra 30. If Ive already paid for dinner why should I pay again to take it home? Overall not worth the price for us. We may be back, but not anytime soon, but I will bring my own containers just in case!
