Brittany did a great job handling our company Christmas party. Food and drinks flowed from start to finish. Excellent service!
I asked my colleagues what the best food in Fort McMurry was and a common answer, was the East Village Eatery so today I gave them a try! My first impression was the friendliness of the waitress, Samm A. She kept my glass full during my time here and asked how my food came out. Excellent service from her. Secondly, but most importantly, the food! I ordered the Waygu Burger (cheese +$1.50 bacon +$2.50) with fries in the side. Burger tasted great. Excellent choice of bun, perfect amount of burger sauce, and an excellent proportion of toppings. You will not go hungry here! Now for the fries. Typically fries aren’t that unique from restaurant to restaurant, however these were something to talk about! Perfectly cooked to a golden color. Texture and flavour were absolutely delicious! I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you, Samm and the East Village Eatery for the excellent experience. $21 burger ($4 for cheese and bacon) $8 domestic beer $4.50 iced tea/pop $40 total plus $7.09 (18%) tip
Amazing food! I was craving a Whiteclaw and was so happy when they had them! The atmosphere was super lively and got busier throughout the night. The service was great and the food was priced right for the quantity and quality you receive! Looking forward to our next visit!

I’ve been going to EVP almost every weekend for awhile now and it’s always an amazing place to drink. Jay is a pretty new hire at EVP and I’m astonished with his customer service skills! I actually met him a few years ago in my building and he helped me move in out of the kindness of his heart and when I started seeing him at east village pub, I was so happy for him. His energy is off the charts and he is always dancing and creating an amazing environment whilst also committing to his work. I know he is a cleaner, but the owners need to know they hired one of the most engaging, wonderful, and genuine people I think I’ve ever met. It’s to the point where people at MY work ask me if I’ve met him yet and talk about how awesome he really is. There is no doubt in my mind that he brings in costumers because on weekends where me or my friends don’t feel like going out, we do anyways because we know we will get to see him. Give this man doesn’t just deserve a raise, he deserves the world! Coming from a regular who never posts reviews.
Honestly the phenomenal food here is the penultimate highlight. Every steak is perfect to the point that I asked if they are sous vide’ing there meat… apparently not. Just top notch chefs.. I have not had anything less than an exceptional meal here.. The downfall is I stay in a condo above them and weekends are an unending nightclub, and questionable drunks…. But FFS, exceptional restaurant . Stupid expensive but worth it also, by far. Chefs humble opinion BTW.
5 star for the fresh and delicious food made in house daily. East village pub is a fun place but very loud and very busy depending on the night you’re visiting. I go for date nights a lot at EVP and the food is the best and sometimes depending on the crowd the music is amazing as well but can be very loud if you plan on having conversations that evening or day. My favourite food is buttermilk fried chicken with home made mashed potatoes and for the wife it’s Cajun chicken and basmati chicken rice. Starters I go for the Greek spinach dip with naan bread/pita and hot wings. The wagyu burger is 20$ but it’s hefty in size and tastes awesome. Service can be slow on the night but not bad and atmosphere is ok on the inside but the patio is my favourite in the summer. A must eat spot for gourmet food!
We had a fantastic experience at East village today for lunch. Our server Taylor was fantastic!!! She was charismatic, attentive, engaged in conversation with us and made us feel at home! She also shared her personal suggestions from the menu to help us decide!! It was my first time dining here but it definitely won't be my last! Customer service at it's best right here! Way to go EVP!
Our favourite place in town! Rochelle has been our server the last couple times and honestly she s our favourite she s phenomenal! Super friendly and just great at her job!

They have absolutely no regard for anyone in the neighborhood or even the residents of the building. Constantly blasting music until 2 AM and making it impossible to sleep.

The customer service displayed by Ryan the manger on duty today 9-13-2024 at east village pub was terrible, unprofessional and very disrespectful. After I explained that a situation of an order I came to pickup wasn t handled properly by the staff, he proceeded to tell me seeing that I got my order now I should leave the restaurant ushering me out with hand motions without giving an ear to what was being relayed to him. I am appalled by this behavior and if other customers are treated like this then it is a sad representation for this establishment!

Im obsessed with EVERYTHING on the menu. My biggest complaint is that I can never decide what to eat. Mac and cheese? Yes. Burger? Yes. Blackened chicken? YES. Chicken Alfredo? Yes. BREAKFAST WAFFLES? YES I literally spend all my money here. 10/10

The waitress was annoyed at us from the get go because my boyfriend asked if they had a Pilsner on tap. When I ordered food off the gluten free options menu, I did let her know I m celiac. She made no modifications to the kitchen and I ended up getting very sick. If you have dietary needs better off going somewhere that the staff know what s up.

Went for Sunday wings there was a fire alarm upstairs in the appartments so everyone had to leave the pub felt bad for the waitresses cause they had a bunch of walk outs when everyone was outside. We left a bigger tip my chicken wings were very hot so I got to enjoy them the next day as well.
Love this place, its a great place to either go to Lunch with the family or to meet up with people and have drinks. Foods always delicious and service is great. Not always the best when ordered for take out. Ordered on skip 2024, and, unfortunately, the jalapeño peppers were completely raw. I ordered bacon wrapped jalapeño peppers. The filling was good. Spinach dip was good.

Food is awesome but the service sucks. My friend asked them to remake her drink as it was left at the bar for over 5-10 minutes, the server looked annoyed and brought the drink to the bar and literally held it in her hand for a minute then walked back to the table with the same drink. I would rather be safe than sorry and she clearly did not care.

My friends and I have gone to East Village Pub and Eatery a couple times and it is by far the friendliest and chill place to be late Saturday morning. Their food is very good, consistent in prep/plating, and their staff are accommodating and personable. IMPORTANT: They always made sure our tea and coffee was topped up and warm throughout our dining experience. Highly recommend the Villager Breakfast, Avocado Toast (they can add bacon!), Scrambler, and the Eggs Benedict! Also, add a Baileys and Coffee to go with any of those dishes. :)
Try the chicken sandwich was amazing
Keisha was simply fantastic! There was 25 or more of us for a Christmas get together and we didn t have to wait for any drinks or help. She ran around and smiled all night taking care of us. I haven t had service like that in Fort McMurray for many years. I feel good spending money locally when people like Keisha are running the show

EVPs got good food and atmosphere. Theyve got the best fried chicken sandwich in town. The chicken Alfredo is incredibly bland - definitely dont recommend that, but its the only thing on the menu I havent liked.
Greeted by our server Kyla with the biggest smile and warm, welcoming demeanor. Others servers at this establishment could learn much from her and her approach to her work and her patrons.

This place was crazy they had a dj playing awesome music the environment was great food was good service was quick even though they were super busy definitely would recommend checking it out.
I dont tip 0% much of my life but yesterday was the third time and the whole table tipped 0%. Thats how bad the service was. Thats how bad the food was. This is my fourth time here. I like the atmosphere and the food but yesterday was something special. The Waitress took the drink orders, took forever to bring them over and she only had two other tables. She brought the drinks and left without asking if we wanted any food and then me and my friend sat there for 25 minutes trying to get her attention to order food. Eventually we grabbed a different waitress so we could order more drinks and food and then our original waitress came over asking that waitress whats going on? Whats going on is were hungry....... By the time the food came out it was cold. Safe to say Im done with this place.
Stopped in after work on a recommendation from a client, was a bit under dressed as I was still in work clothes, sat at the bar, Dillon was very friendly, professional and despite being very busy he provided excellent service!! The food quality was beyond excellent, presentation top notch! I will tell everyone about this place!! Hope to return the next time Im in the Mac!!! Thank you for everything!!!

My first order at this location was an experience. The bruschetta was absolutely amazing. So rich and creamy. It is a definite must have as the bread that comes with the order is not toasted and is absolutely amazing with the the bruschetta mixture. Five five on that!!! I did have to order my steak sandwich a second time as it was over cooked the first time. However, the chef redeemed themselves the second time. Absolutely delicious and mouth watering, melt it your mouth delicious!!! The bartender named Mary is a treat! Super sweet and very professional, they are lucky to have her as apart of their bartending team!! The other bartenders seemed to really enjoy their position and that was wonderful to see!! I will definitely be back to enjoy this pub!!! Thank you for the experience!!

Really good food and drinks. Wouldnt recommend coming here during the day though. Service is a lot worse. Watched the server and bartender gossip while we were still waiting on our drinks.
Food is great here. Service was ok. They only had one server for the patio which had about 10 tables. Poor server couldnt keep up with the large groups. Had to wait a while just to get water
East village has to be the best bar in Fort mcmurray. Their new menu is great and highly recommended. The service is amazing. This is the only bar in McMurray i found that actually makes proper drinks. I.E. whiskey sour, old fashioned, and various others

This place is absolutely amazing for food. I have order alot of different things from there menu and all of it has been so great. My favorite is the bison burger with the candy jalapenos and carrot cake!
EVP is an excellent place for dinner. Their food was really good and seemed to have high quality ingredients that were cooked well. I havent dined in in a while but have frequently had take out and its always been good. Ps, the Mattys fried chicken sandwich is the #1 chicken burger in Fort Mac! Its a really good combination with the coleslaw, spicy aioli, and a nice bun.

I am new to the Fort McMurray area and heard so many great things about EVP. I have now gone here twice and loved my experience each time. Was there Thurs Nov 10 about 5pm and the staff was wonderful! especially with my food allergies
Not a bad spot, I dont go there too often for some reason. The food is good but maybe priced a bit high.
Love the food but this place is really about the atmosphere. On a Friday or Saturday night its the spot to be. It can take an hour to do a lap of the bar because youll keep running into old and new friends. Great live music as well - one of the few spots in town to dance!

We ordered 20 take out supper and brunch meals for our hockey team while in town. Everyone was happy with their food and it was hot and ready for our pick up times. That is for making meals easy and taking care of us

Very generous food servings and tasty. They have live bands sometimes in the events and apparently the place can be packed in the weekend evenings.
