I take my reviewing reputation very seriously, and I would never risk my credibility by leaving an excellent review for mediocre food. When I venture out to a previously un-encountered restaurant, I will judge the nourishment with an objective pallet. That being said, franklin donair was delicious. We ordered the beef donair wrap with fries and both were really good. Place looks low-key but the food was great, generous portions for a fair cost. The sweet sauce was delicious and well integrated throughout the wrap. Fries were good too. Service was great as well, the guy there was very friendly and helpful with the menu, he suggested we add banana peppers and that was a great choice. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Best donair I ve ever had. Got the jumbo, both sauces, it was massive, and meat was cooked to perfection. It was sooo much food I had to put it down a couple of times but was drawn back to it within minutes. I will be back and will be recommending this place going forward.

I consider myself a regular. Every short change I get a curly fry poutine and a super cheese donair. Just like heaven every time dont have any complaints with anything and the guys that work there are super friendly and they put pride into what they do. If u havent tried it I suggest that u do you wont regret it

Hands down best halal beef shawarma made from premium cut meat. Beef shawarma is juicy and tender - a rare find for sure! I will definitely go again and highly recommend it. Food quality and quantity are both very good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Walked in and owner asked if I had been there before. I told him I hadn t so he asked how hungry I was and we decided on a donair. I picked the middle size as I was middle hungry, and the portion was huge. While making it he told me it would be the best donair I ve had. Well, I can honestly say, this is the best donair I ve ever had in Canada, easily. He explained that he does the meat himself which makes all the difference. Also, there was a hint of mint that really took it over the top for me. Works so well in it. I ll be back when I m back in town. Definitely want to try more of the menu now.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! This is the only place I will go for donair, they are for sure the best in town! I highly recommend ordering take-out because it is so nice to talk to the staff/owner they are so friendly and provide the best service, I always loving going in!!

Tried the Regular Donair, and it was absolutely ! The donair meat had great flavor and was juicy; Not old or overly dry.. yet not juicy enough for a soggy pitta!! They use shredded mozzarella, not processed slices of nastiness, and the sauce was the closet Ive had to Donair sauce since moving from NS to Fort McMurray Definitely my new favorite spot when craving a Donair.

Ordered the regular beef donair wrap with lettuce, tomato, onion, good portion of meat; it is filling and delicious. IF I could change one thing, it would be the donair sauce, too sweet for my liking.

Good donair but raised their prices recently and give you less meat on their donairs as of lately ! Not good for business!

Whooooey! I didnt know what I was in for and was pleasantly surprised. Every bite was a little smile with that yummy donair meat. Every bit good as any other joint in Vancouver maybe more! Will definitely come back again.

My favorite donair in Fort McMurray.

Ordered the Sparta platter, chicken rice soup and veg samosas and hummus. It was delicious only thing that was lemon potatoes had bread crumb and not the traditional lemon Greek potatoes cooked in oil, and wasn t enough pita for for the huge portion so definitely order extra and the shrimp was battered and deep fried. But the beef and chicken was spot on, especially with tatziki and the rice pilaff was go good. But all in all one of the better places to get take out in ft Mac. I highly recommend.

Storefront isnt much to look at, but the donairs are amazing. Owner even brought it out to our cars in the parking lot!

Hubby and I tried these guys for the first time last night and were blown away at how fresh and delicious everything was not to mention the portions were huge. We had the Sparta plater, a donair and fries, dressing and gravy and it was all fantastic! Hands down the best donair and Greek food in town. If you haven t tried them yet do yourself a favour and order asap!

Best Donair I think Ive ever eaten! Loaded with meat and very flavourful. Had a side order of fries and gravy portions were huge. All for 14.70 and 10 times the meal you would get at a fast food place for the same price. Owner is super friendly. These are the people we should be supportive of. Shop local.

Reading all these good reviews is shocking to me because the one time I got food here the doanir meat was all burnt and not edible, the Sharma platter was poorly made and also no up to par with places like cedars. No comparison. I really have no idea how they have these good reviews everything I got for food was bad even the fries.. how do you fk up fries.. I dunno but they did it.

I have been ordering from this place all week through SkipTheDishes trying different meals and today I made the trip myself for pickup. Falafel wrap is delicious,my sister had the beef donair and said it was great. I tried the fish and chips and the fish is moist with a crisp and well seasoned coating and fries are also delicious and crispy. Calamari is fresh, seasoned and fried to perfection topped with chopped onions and served with that delicious tzatziki sauce on the side. The owner is the friendliest person I have met. Room for improvement would be to throw in some napkins and utensils as I was planning to eat outside.

Had the donair. Started off being very delicious. However, the more I ate, the saltier it got. I like salt, but found it too salty. I think the extreme salt was just my experience. NY brother had a donair, from there, the same day and his was not salty. I will go here again, to give it another try. Hopefully next time, my experience is different.

I have had the donair and ask for pickled turnip here a few times. Always excellent Went in for poutine yesterday and that was great as well. Owner is a super nice guy and even gave me a free drink while waiting. Used to go to Cedars, but this place is much better!

My wife and I tried Franklin Donair today for the first time and gotta say. What an amazing eating experience. Got the beef donair with an order of calamari and the homemade baklava. Everything was delicious and fresh. Will be our go to donair spot from here on out.
