Had an excellent dine in experience earlier visiting for the first time this morning. Both servers working were lovely and such a warm welcome the second you enter the door. I can’t wait to visit again and try more items off the menu and the wide selection of home made desserts!
I came here on a referral from a coworker. He said the Monte cristo sandwiches were really good. I don't know if I'll give them another chance... We waited for over 5 minutes at the front... I walked around the restaurant looking for someone and finally someone came out. I understand they might have been short staffed so I didn't mind that part however I ordered a steak sandwich and home cut fries. The Fries were soggy... We did take it to go eat 2 mins down the road at the river but I don't think they should've went soggy that fast... Again, I'll give them benifit of the doubt there.... However my steak which was supposed to be medium rare was grey and very tough. I think they microwaved a frozen steak maybe. There were a few carrots which were too hard (not cooked enough). The mozza sticks were decent enough. All around it was a bad eating experience. I do not recommend the steak. It was so tough I used it as Bait on my fishing hook and even this fish didn't want it 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Restaurant looked cozy and I used the bathroom which was very clean so 3 stars for atmosphere. But the food was terrible.
Had the halibut, had a big bone puncture the roof of my mouth on the first bite. And then 2 more. Brought to the attention of the server. She said “that’s the way we get the fish here” I said that no excuse for cutting/slicing someone mouth open. She left, came back with the full bill. First and last time for me. 12:30 March 22 lunch. Never again. Lol.

The service is very good, the food not so nice, the scrambled egg didn't have flavor. There weren't also much variants in the menu, very similar and not much for vegan diet. It was nice to have courteous and nice staffs attend to us especially though.
The staff is great. I like the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the items I tried weren't that great. I went two times now. The scrambled eggs, French toast, and poutine were all extremely bland. I also bought a blueberry pie and the crust was pretty awful. My daughter's chicken alfredo was okay. I don't usually like salt and pepper added to my food but I had to add both for flavor. Maybe it was just two off days.
Great atmosphere and unique menu options. Food was okay but portion sizes were massive. All in all a great little joint.
Don't spend your hard earned money on the name places, go to Ms. B's and enjoy good home cooked meals. Fresh baked bread and bakery items are the icing on the cake. They have have great food from out east....I especially enjoyed the split pea and ham soup. This place has been a staple in Fort McMurray for a long time, I heard of it by word of mouth. When I'm not at Fuji Sushi, you can find me at My. B's. Be sure to try the pie!!
I dont know what happened but we usually enjoy Mrs Bs. Today we both ordered steak and salad.mine was medium my husband medium rare..when the order came we noticed how small steak was..they cooked one steakand cut it in half so my husbands was overcooked..he told server and about4 minutes later brought another price of

The service was fine just all the food was processed if I wanted packaged gravy and frozen fries I could have just stayed home and what ever you do dont get the boxed dressing on your fries.
This place is my favourite for breakfast!! Always my go too! The baked goods are so delicious! The service here is always top notch!

Had breakfast while waiting for my van to be serviced. The eggs Benedict was delicious! It was nice to sit next to the big windows and enjoy the sun while I ate and had coffee. The server was very friendly and attentive. I never had to ask for a coffee refill because she was always on it!

Bought 3 pies and they were horrible! Lemon pie was basically just meringue, crust was hard. Banana, & coconut were runny and crust was soggy. Definitely over-priced. $18.55 each. Never again will I buy pies here.

Great tasting homemade food and service. Tons of food to eat..you will be stuffed when you leave. They have a display of tasty sweets you can buy when you leave like homemade pies and squares. I am obsessed with the turkey meals they serve. REAL turkey is used not rolled. Hot turkey and Clubhouse sandwiches are my favorite meals.. You can eat breakfast or dinner at anytime of the day.
Quite on a Sunday for brunch. Had the Monte Cristo with waffle fries. Everything tasted as expected. Service was friendly and fast.
I love visiting Ms Bs for Breakfast. Youve not lived until youve had a touton breakfast.
Even though not on the menu, they made me hamburger and eggs and the hamburger was awesome tasting. I was amazed at the choice I was given to pick the homemade fried cubed potatoes, they are fabulous with eggs rather than the deep fried cubed

We waited over an hour for our food to come out and when it finally did the soup was barely warm and it was tasteless.

Very disappointed, all 4 of our orders were ridiculous. The 21$ pulled pork sandwich come in a soggy 1$ bun that is barely edible. Used to be a good restaurant but definitely will not return until management or chefs change.

Paid 18$ for a salad an it had quite a bit of brown lettuce.. wasnt even offered a discount. Ate around it bc I was starving n had a bus to catch.. wont b goin back anytime soon
I been going to this restaurant for 10 years when I lived in Fort McMurray. Been gone now for 6 years. Back for a visit today and decided to go to my favourite place. Very disappointed. The toutons use to be big and really good. Now they are like hockey pucks. Very hard. The bake beans were very runny. Would have enjoyed can beans better.
Best b eakfast in town
Had a great breakfast visiting in town here with family. The omelette and hash browns with toast is superb. Love the vibe with the old-fashioned feel and decor, which is totally my style. Look forward to coming back during next trip to Fort Mac!

This restaurant Was my favourite spot for years but they cook Everything on the same grill and I can t eat pork. That was a turn off for me!
Worst clubhouse platter i ever had toast wasnt even toast soggy bread and what was that slab of greyish meat. Poutine cold and fries globbed together. Very poor needs a zero star rating. Waste of 28 bucks thats for sure

Made an order for our company people, gave everything we requested and they tried to over charge with without even telling us. Once we started eating, 3 of the guys found hair in their food as well. im extremely disgusted by the food and the service, 100% myself and the company will never going back. I strongly suggest nobody ever does.

I pickrd poorly for my food so I did not like it but that was my fault. Bacon was good egg was cooked right. Until I have something else I will with hold a food rating.

I have a suggestion, post your restaurant as one that has a private room. I did a search for restaurants with a private room, yours did not show up. I had to call almost every restaurant to see if they have a private room.

We dropped by for a big breakfast on our way to the airport. Fast, friendly service and a large menu. Nice atmosphere with all of the maritime photos on the walls. We were seated at a large comfortable booth, not my favourite choice for eating arrangements, but these booths are roomy and I was not tight against the table like in other places.
The best clubhouse sandwich around, hands down. Real meat, freshly baked bread, and hot crispy French fries. Friendly service to. I visit Mrs Bs every time Im in town. This was written a few years back, but still stands today. We ever feel any pressure to leave after a meal as friends and I chat to catch up.
As a commuter this truly felt like a home away from home. The homemade food was fantastic.

One of the best restaurants in Fort McMurray
The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the lady serving us was very kind and they drop a coffee pot at the table so we can serve ourselves our coffee. Other then that the meals were terrible. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was an atrocious piece of meat cooked in the fashion that would give Gordon Ramsey a brain aneurysm. The hollandaise sauce comes from a factory in liquid form and had the consistency of warm jello and tasted...bad. The hasbrowns werent the worst and the eggs simply were over cooked, although not as bad as the steak. Steer clear of this homecooking style, sub-denys quality food.
Fair prices decent serving sizes and good service. Always leave full with some sweets to boot.

Menu offered is still the full version. Many other restaurants are currently offering a smaller version of their menu during the pandemic but not Ms. Bs. Large variety in the menu, bakery counter is still full and their daily specials are still offered. Offers something for the whole families preferences.

well just had the worst breakfast I have ever had at Mrs Bs in all the years Ive been going there. First the bacon oinked at me when I put the fork in it. Called the waitress over she took it back to the kitchen and they dropped it into the chip fryer and it came back as a burnt offering. I ordered beans as well as homemade toast never even got those item. if I could give a zero for this visit that would be generous. The third time she brought the bacon out at least it was halfway edible, but after taking my plate back to the kitchen twice the eggs and hash browns were cold and gross.

Really good breakfast, Ms. Bs has some good short order cooks that will get you your breakfast now! Long time since Ive been to a place where theyll leave you your canter of tea or coffee instead of bugging you every 30 seconds. Restaurants in good shape too.
Way over priced coffee. $3.25 a cup for bland coffee. Give you all kinds of options for your side but dont tell you that if you take the *not* deep fried hash browns but want home made grilled (likely cooked 4 hours ago and sat under the heat lamp) you are charged extra. Want any of the options other than white bread? Thats a extra charge. Kids meals dont come with drinks. The tiny cup of milk? Thats $2.00. you think youre getting a descent priced breakfast but wait til the bill comes. Two kids and two adults? $60 for breakfast and we didnt order anything special. NEVER going back.

Service was slow. When we finally received our food the eggs were cold. Server never checked back. At the end we asked for our bill and waited 15 minutes for that. We ended up walking to the counter and demand our Bill. Not visiting there anytime soon again.
This restaurant is a family orientated facility. Food and service is exceptional. Yu can eat an home cooked type meal at leasure in a very friendly atmosphere. I recommend !!

Small tiny restaurant, with absolutely amazing food, and great prices too! Get the hot sandwiches, fish and chips or their homemade daily soup.
Friendly service, But I couldnt rate the food more than 5 of 10 Their variety plater had a very minimal selection and was 50% potato. The only real value was their Pizza Roll but they only gave one of them I probably wouldnt return. Also had an order of Fries & Gravy. Sadly the fries were typical deep fried, greasy & tasteless just like the gravy... Weak taste and poor value.

Great place to get a full breakfast. There is lots of room in the new location with a touch of Newfoundland. Our server was classic, she had a great sense of Newfie humour and was not afraid to dish it back to our group. As for the food, the servings are big, and the food was great. This place also has a great selection of homemade desserts and bread. Highly recommend this restaurant.
