Ive been eating here for many times, but for my last two visits i feel like the girl server always in hurry and not really happy serving the customer. I just put my last bite in my mouth but suddenly the server already put the bill on my table and the EDC. Dont get me wrong, i will understand it if the restaurant is busy, but it was empty and the server just standing in the corner playing with her phone. I dont know it just feel not right being treated like this. The foods already perfect, the restaurant is really clean with nice ambience. It will be much better if at least the server can be little bit more nice and let the customer finish their foods first.

Been coming here for years and had no better experience anywhere near or around Fort. St. John. The food is absolutely delicious and it s always our stop for when we visit.

Service was awesome. The tea was good. Was very dissapointed in the roll and nigiri. Would not recommend.

Orderd take-out for a large party off menu with excellent staff help one day ahead. Was ready when we came to pick up. Fantastic food and taste. Plenty of options and enough to go around. Excellent service. Would highly recommend!!! Vegetarian options: They have/will make up vegetarian options on their menu and will make up others as long as you give them plenty of notice. Very accommodating! Parking: Lots of parking!

Fastest delivery in town! Totally worth the seven dollar delivery fee! It was literally 20 minutes! The delivery driver was a delightful gentleman who usually has a joke every time And the food is consistently delicious!

Chicken was dry, rice over cooked. Not a good sushi place. Let the owner know about the food he mentioned too bad pay the bill

Food quality not very good. Wouldn t recommend. Also overpriced.

Our waitress was very kind, however the food was cold. The sushi was not fresh. They did not give the proper condiments asked for. Overall worst sushi I ve ever had. I d never recommend. Don t come here if you want food positing.

Quick .. and still really fresh, good food. Definitely recommend if you re short on time and want to support local and not the drive thrus. The only think that could be improved upon is from the ousted it s hard to see if they re open because of the tinted windows.

Ordered the Mexican tuna rolls and in them I found three separate pieces of hard white material. When I asked the server what these pieces were he said they were expected to be there and they were shrimp clubs. However there was no shrimp in these rolls. I pointed out that the pieces are a choking hazard but he wasnt concerned. The taste was OK - the sushi was swamped in a soup of sauce and topped with too much Sriracha. The okonomiyaki was quite good on the other hand. Sashimi was underwhelming. Prices are high.

Q-Spot never fails to deliver quality food and customer service. I always appreciate how fresh the ingredients are and how friendly the staff is. Customer for life Vegetarian options: They offer options with just vegetables, it is vegetarian-friendly. Parking: It is in a sort of strip-mall setting, so the parking lot is big and plentiful. Kid-friendliness: Our children always love eating from here. They also supply a high-chair and booster seat for dining-in. Wheelchair accessibility: It is ground-level access, so no worries about stairs/ramp accessibility.

Excellent food, service and clean!! Bathrooms arent scummy like most of the public spaces in FSJ... great place to eat!!

Sushi was the worst i have ever had. Iv eaten alot of sushi at many different places across western Canada and this by far was the worst. Unagi roll was wayyy too salty, you could tell the eel wasnt fresh. It was slimy and not cooked. The scallop roll was bland and the texture was revolting. Nothing tasted fresh. I hope I dont get food poisoning. Only thing worth eating was the beef teriyaki with rice. The spring rolls were soggy and greasy. California roll was so much imitation crab it was basically just mush. All the rolls fell apart trying to pick them up. Would never recommend eating here.

Very nice spot for lunch! They have a large menu with good variety. The waitress i had was super friendly and polite, and extra attentive. I tried their tempura and Yaki-udon, which were great.

My favourite sushi place

This place happened to be a trial and error choice. Fortunately for me, after the first shot, I tried 2 more times back to back. I ve now eaten here 3 times in 5 days and love it. I recommend the rolls, and the noodle bowls. Those are the only dishes I ve tried, but the price is right and they re made with quality and taste delicious.

Incredibly disappointing, first impressions completely thrown out the window. Ive been to a lot of bad restaurants but Q Spot is up there with the worst. Ordered two rolls, both wrong. Called and said they were both wrong, reconfirmed my exact order. They said no problem, well fix them. Received a personal apology - I could have appreciated it more if theyd actually fixed my order upon return. Only received one roll out of two that were incorrect, both confirmed, and the roll they provided was of course incorrectly made again. If I saw any merit in this restaurant I would have gone back (for a third time) but the quality control is so, so incredibly poor that Im not even willing to use a fraction of a litre of fuel to pay to eat here ever again; even if fuel dropped back to 74¢ a litre like you used to see in the 90s.

I wasn t too sure how good the sushi would be here considering FSJ isn t huge and that close to the ocean, but it was great! They have Korean food on the menu which was a nice surprise, so I ordered the bibimbap. Others in our group had the bento bowls and all of the components were fantastic. What a pleasant surprise to find for dinner!

Dont get a pad Thai!! Monster onions and truly disgusting. Their sushi rolls are huge to disguise the awful flavor. Yukk!

A coworker introduced me to this place and honestly the quality rivals the best places Ive been to in the Okanagan. I will definitely recommend this place.

Great little lunch spot. The staff are friendly and service is prompt. Their rolls are decent and menu offerings are enormous. The only criticism I have is that I watched the cook test their soup (or stock base) off a spoon and then return the spoon to the pot for stirring.

Great food but inattentive staff. Once youve gotten your food they wont come to your table again until they bring the bill. Its a little expensive as well.

YUM!! Went to Q spot for the first time last night and was so impressed. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but as soon as I entered I felt right at home - the service was impeccable. I ordered todays special which was bibimbap with miso soup, and it was one of the tastiest meals I have had in a very long time. The chef asked how I liked it when I got up to pay, and we had a nice chat for a few minutes before I left. All in all a fantastic experience and I will be back soon!

Great food and good service, they have a really good selection of Korean and Japanese dishes - cant recommend them enough!

The staff is very friendly and anything you order will be prepared quickly and professionally. Me and my family go and eat here about once a month and are never disappointed

Korean food not Japanese food but they have sushi. Its still made Korean style so cant really call it Japanese

Really good sushi especially the dragon roll and caterpillar rolls. Only thing bad I could say about it is its a little rundown. Food is 5 stars for Fort St. John.

Some of the best food in town. Their sashimi and raw dishes compete with some of the better resteraunts in Vancouver and Richmond. They also have more unique Japanese dishes you normally dont find in western culture such as Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki. The only negatives I have are: A: The service is minimal, rarely will you be asked how your meal is or if you want drink refills. B: The seating and atmosphere is very generic diner style. Big open room with half-decent tables and chairs with a local radio station playing. Honestly though for the price and quality of food, it is easily my favorite restaurant within an hour drive in all directions.

I have found Q Spot to be my favourite sushi place in town by far. The food is always delicious the service is friendly. The wait times are fair. And I mean for me personally it being located next to a convenience store just enhances the drink options. If you re eating in or picking up Q spot is a great spot to grab a bite for sushi lovers. And being this far from the ocean you gotta be picky where you decide to eat seafood!

We love to order the sushi platter combos from Q Spot Restaurant in Fort St John, with such great selection, always good fresh quality, prices are fantastic. The rice is always nice and fresh, Staff are very polite and they always make substitutions at our request. Delicious hole in the wall sushi restaurant just on the edge of town. Interesting location that looks like it might have been an old laundromat or something but the staff are super friendly and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable as well.
