I recently visited Easy Bites Restaurant, a place I've had good experiences at in the past. Unfortunately, my latest visit was disappointing. When I ordered, the attendant at the front counter didn't double-check our orders, and we had to wait 30-35 minutes to find out that one of our orders was missing. When I told her about the mistake, she didn't apologize or take responsibility. Instead, she just said she would make the missing order. I was with my family and this is disappointing. I was surprised by the attendant's lack of courtesy and respect. As a customer, I expect to be treated with kindness and appreciation, especially when supporting a local business. The attendant was unfriendly and didn't seem to care about our presence or our business. When I asked to speak with the manager, the attendant said he was busy, but then disappeared to the back of the restaurant. The manager eventually came out and listened to our concerns, and we gave him some feedback on how to improve their service. Manager is a super nice person, he apologized on her behalf, and we acknowledged it that we are not complaining but it’s just a suggestion. Unfortunately, the attendant's behavior didn't improve, and she presented the receipt to the manager with an attitude. She never apologized or acknowledged her mistake, and we felt uncomfortable continuing to interact with her. This wasn't the first time we've had an issue with the restaurant. On a previous visit, we had a similar problem with a missing order. While mistakes can happen, it's important for businesses to learn from them and make things right. Suggestively, getting defensive and angry with customers only makes things worse. In conclusion, my latest visit to Easy Bites Restaurant was disappointing due to poor service and a lack of accountability. I hope the restaurant will take our feedback seriously and work to improve their customer service. Also, rating of atmosphere varies how you treat your customers so good luck.
I just think it's funny Easy Bites is marketing itself as a breakfast and lunch place but doesn't open until 11:30am completely throwing that "breakfast" thing out the window. Other than that the foods great! whats even greater though? Is the lady who wrote the review calling her experience here a complete disaster, because she couldn't get a refund for food she ate 2 months prior. Then was "in shock" at the bad customer service. Seriously messed up Karen.
I recently had the unfortunate experience and I must say, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I ordered chicken dosa and chilli paneer dosa on June 23rd, 2023. Chicken dosa barely had any chicken in it. Chilli panner was mix of potatoes and paneer which was never the case before. Always like their food. I called the next day told them about the issues. She told me to come and get the refund for chicken dosa but not for paneer since they changed their recipe. I was confused and surprised that how come you change the recipe without even informing the customers. I didn’t say anything. Due to some reasons I couldn’t go to get the refund. Called today to order something else instead of refund. She clearly declined the refund stating that its been two months we won’t give the refund telling me you should have come within one week. She never informed me about one week refund policy. This kind of customer service left me in complete shock. She was so rude, not ready to listen to a single thing I had to say. Overall, my experience at Easy Bites was nothing short of a nightmare. The customer service and the food left me feeling utterly disappointed and frustrated.
**Thanks for staying authentic*** This is a hidden gem in the peace river region. I am really glad we stumbled upon this restaurent that serve "South" Indian cusine (its different from the rest of the indian cuisines) Their menu is very limited, but they serve extacly what they say in their menu. I was lucky to try their biriyani and remined me of one of my visits to Kerala ( later i learned from a local friend that their biriyani gets sold out very soon! no surprise there, its just yum) Being a fan of dishes with coconut milk, the one i tried from easy bites that said "cooked in coconut milk" was heavenly (slurpp, sorry dont remember what they called it). It was thick and aromatic. Heard their "indo chineese" items are good too (on my list for next time) Oh ! the Mango Milk shake, for less than $10 its a steal. If i were FSJ resident, i would skip my daily starbucks visit for this Mango Milk shake (trust me on this one) Once again, thanks for being Authentic Price - Its bit costly (when compared to others in the same area) Quantity - Can improve Masala Chai - Would be better if loose tea and spices are used than the tea bag
I absolutely loved dining at this Indian restaurant! The food is outstanding, bursting with authentic flavors that transport me straight to India. The staff is incredibly friendly and always make me feel welcomed. The ambiance is warm and cozy, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving an unforgettable Indian culinary experience!
One of the best in town, very delicious shrimp biryani and channa I have had there. Excellent customer service. Thank you
I give them a big five star rating because of taste of food. It was soooo delicious and wonderful. I enjoyed so much. I ate coconut milk chicken that was delicious. The staff’s behavior was so nice, friendly and polite. And generally I had good feel. Just maybe they can try more for there decoration.
Went in to the restaurant to check things out around Xmas 2022. Ordered a chocolate crepe (or east Indian crepe) just to try it out and I was quite surprised how good it was with good presentation. Went back a few weeks later with my wife and ordered a full dinner although I forget what we ordered but we were both satisfied with our meal. Very casual atmosphere with nothing fancy but, quite frankly, we were more interested in good food than fancy décor. Serving staff is very helpful if one comes across a menu on their food preparation or menu item. Highly Recommended
OVERaLL EXPERIENCE IS GOOD.. BUT QUANTITY IS VERY less
Excellent food
Ordered the Chicken Quesadia and a Dr. Pepper. Despite the person at the counter telling me it would take 15 minutes, my order came fairly quickly. The plate and meal itself wasnt anything fancy but it had 4 large portions on it, and came with a small dish of sour cream and salsa. Each piece was packed full of chicken, red onion, cheese, and other things. It was substantial enough that it filled me up and was determined i would come back more often. They had for sale some fast food, Indian food and other foods for Breakfasts, Lunch etc. . Though a very simple presentation i was impressed with the food and give it a 4 out of 5 and will definitely be back to try their Southern Indian Food also. Parking: Large parking Lot to the North of the entrance lots of Parking. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a single level, double doors lots of room to turn around.
It was expensive but good tea
Sorry, but it was awful !
Fast, friendly service and great food! Love to stop by for lunch and usually grab the Dosa to go. Generous portion sizes and lots of variety to choose from. Finding that I m often forgetting to bring a lunch to work and happily heading to Easy Bites instead!
Wonderful dosas, super tasty Must try a Parking: Free parking
I absolutely love Easy Bites! I order take out, and their food arrives hot and fresh! Their food is phenomenal! My go to is either shrimp curry, egg roast curry, Dosa or veggie quesadilla!
Good food and super service
Masala Tea was great! Staffs are nice and friendly. Paneer Chicken and Sambar are superbly delicious. Great work! Easy Bites
I ordered a grilled cheese & veg sandwich, pepper chicken and creamy coconut chicken with steamed rice. Food was amazing! Thank you
Very delicious food and very nice service !! Must try
As a South Indian food lover, went all the way to FSJ to try Dosa at this place, left very well unsatisfied. The outer layer was so soggy & the potato stuffing was completely flavourless. Not to forget the no vegetable bland Sambhar. Cashier seemed a bit unaware about the food items on the menu.
Great food! Strongly recommend the coconut chicken curry.
Loooove the food here and they are the nicest people running the place. Vegetable Dosa is delicious.
Tasty food and customer service
Delicious food and friendly service.
Me and my husband are Dosa lovers, we tried Easy Bites first time and it is amazing. Food, environment and people all are amazing. Jalebi and pedas were like cherry on cake.
Stopped in while walking uptown, not really knowing what to expect. Found out it was an Indian menu, but from a different area of India from other local restaurants in town. Had the butter chicken dosa and the wife had the chicken curry dosa. We shared the samosa s to start. The samosas came out fresh and hot. They were fantastic! Then the dosa s. They were huge! If you haven t had a dosa, it s similar to a crepe or a wrap. Both of ours were delicious! Great Indian flavours, and with 3 different heat levels, we both found medium heat was just right. Our dishes were served with a ramekin of curried vegetable soup and a small dish of coconut curried something(?). Both had a medium spice level. If I were to critique anything about the place it would be the interior design. Our meals were served on blue cafeteria trays, thus pulling away from the authenticity of the place.
Good Butter chicken :)
Ate here twice on recent visit to FSJ. Very friendly service, delicious well proportioned dishes, and competitively priced I ll be back again.
Original taste and Good Food.
I happened to try their Veggie Samosas and Indian Sweets. I liked the samosas being not overly spicy and sweets not the ones containing lots of sugar. Green mint chutney was awesome. Looking forward to try dosas some day.
The area is very neat and clean. Staffs are very friendly. Good luck for entire team. I will be back for more delicious food.
