The food is always top-notch, and if you want a great pan-Asian menu from which to choose, this is definitely the place!

Worst excuse for Japanese food I have ever experienced...pushy attitude from woman answering the phone...no condiments for the sashimi...no seaweed in the puny 9 dollar sea weed salad...no salad dressing Sashimi missing Wasabi and ginger missing 2 mains in the dinner order Pad Thai...was a mushy warm indicernable mess. Really pathetic excuse for any cuisine...2 packets of soya sauce in the entire order...had to even pay for the chop sticks...highway robbery in my opinion! Definitely will dispute payment...for this sloppy mess!

The food was very good but the service was meh.. first of you go in and theres no sign that says to wait or sit yourself. So we stood there for quite a while for someone to show up. The waiter was really friendly and, despite our advanced age and the fact that it was our first visit, he not only recommended dishes for us, but also showed great patience with our slowness. We came from Quebec and we were not very comfortable with English, but thanks to her mastery of the language, she explained everything to us very kindly. In addition, the dishes she recommended to us were really delicious. It was an experience without any regrets. Thank you very much, miss!

Loved this cute little place! The power was flashing off and on, they let us know ahead of time what would be best to order due to that. Sushi rolls were fresh and delicious and the servers were attentive and friendly!

High recommendation for assorted sushi

The food we took was great. I dont know if we came in at the wrong time but I feel that the staff was in a hurry for us to leave. 1st staff was asking if we needed take out boxes in the middle of the meal. 2nd staff assumed my wife is done with her ramen bowl and took it away while my wife was attending to our child. Coming from a very long drive it is not nice to eat when someone always ask if you are done eating. What would you feel if it was done to you?

The food here is superb

Ordered pad thai and vegetable red curry to go. Pad thai had no sauce and no vegetables and very bland. My red curry was basically a bowl of red rice. No vegetables at all. I asked for extra spicy. I was given a small contsiner of sarachi sauce and charged extra for it. When we got back to the hotel room to eat it, i threw mine in the garbage.

The foods were really good and the staffs there were working so hard. When I went in for dine in, almost all tables were full of people and there were only two servers. I saw they tried to serve everyone in the restaurant as much as they can. SO WORK HARD. I would like to say they were hard workers and thank you for your best services.

Decided to try the konkatsu Ramen and was very bland and flavorless. Meat had to much fat and was just straight up Mr Noodles. Not worth the money.

They serve food from multiple ethnicities but none of it is authentic. I tried several dishes and while all tasted good enough it was clear to me that the corners they cut were because they suspected their primarily white customer base wouldnt notice. Also dont get the croissant waffle thing, it tasted like a grocery store croissant put through a waffle iron (I feel dumb for even trying it).

The atmosphere was great as well as the foods and services they provided. I will definitely comeback!

The food was decent but I didn t expect they would charge $1 for every half of a tiny container of gluten free soy sauce.

So, I decided to check out the Korean fare this time(Sushi at the Northside restaurant was very good). While not the best bulgogi Ive had(pretty good, tho), the portion size was decent, and the price was fair. And a coupon for free appetizers came with. Had a friendly chat with a regular while I waited. Ill definitely go back to see if the rest of the menu is as enjoyable.

This restaurant is amazing! My family enjoyed all the dishes and my kids loved the ramen and fried chicken! They literally leaked the dishes! We already had a great experience at their branch restaurant at Northside and it was greater even more!!! The place was elegant and the interior was antique, the staffs were so kind. I definitely want to visit here again! Vegetarian options: They have variety choices with tofu and see foods.

We had a nice dinner here. Service was good, and its in a beautiful old building, with soft music and nice lighting. The sushi lovers in the family all said that their meals were excellent. I had a pork noodle dish and it was good, but the pork was a bit dry and chewy. We had some sesame sweet bean balls, and they were just okay. I would probably give it four and a half stars, but the bench that some of us sat on was just hard wood. It sure could use a thin padding. After an hour, I was pretty uncomfortable. But overall, a good bet for Asian food.

The server disappeared for 30 min. When we asked for separate checks, we got a combined check.

Everything was great until there was rotten avocado in my California rolls sushi did not seem fresh and they didn t give us any soya sauce even though we ordered it.

You need to try this sushi, it s the best in Fredericton hands down. But, I ve had sushi from all over the world and this sushi stands its ground. I wish I had a picture to show but I always eat to fast. I really enjoy the crunch roll, and the salmon sashimi. You will not regret eating here! Super authentic and delicious!! Worth every penny!

Most delicious sushi and teriyaki in town, it s mouthwatering! A little bummed because we ordered takeout and got samosas instead of gyoza and their gyoza is my favourite but other than that I ve only had good experiences! Highly recommend :)

Good institution. Sushi rolls taste great. Nice interior. The only thing that spoiled the impression was the dirty glasses, because of this I could not drink. Keep in mind that the smallest tip percentage is 15%. If you want to fill up, but at the same time it is tasty, it is better to take sushi or rolls, it will be better than lunch, because there is too much fruit in lunch.

We absolutely love coming to Js Asian Kitchen (north side and downtown). They have consistently been the best sushi in Fredericton, with really good prices for the portion sizes. The gyoza and spring rolls are absolutely to die for and the best Ive ever had. Every special roll we ever had was amazing.

Honestly in the beginning it was the best Asian restaurant In Fredericton. Ive ordered multiple times over the past few months the and everything its been average at best. They used to put cute treats in your order and they stopped. Portions sizes is 1/3 of what it used to be. If you want a average safe experience this is an okay spot. If you want good flavor Id go anywheres else and its a shame because they use to be amazing

(Read to the end) We frequent this restaurant often and it s honestly our favourite place to eat in Fredericton. Every time we re there we try something different and it s always exceptionally good. We haven t found anything that isn t excellent and it is priced extremely well. Most times we re there with a four year old and the staff goes out of their way to make him enjoy his meal. They have provided him with a fancy cups, kid friendly chop sticks (that he now wants to use anytime we are out) and he always gets an extra treat. Today we dined there without him but they remembered us and sent us home with a great just for him on the house. I HIGHLY recommend J s both for the excellent food and unparalleled service.

The price you pay is certainly what you get! Absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Friendly staff as well. Will be coming back!

Had miso soup, spring rolls, bibimbap, and tofu teriyaki. Service was great, food was great (was disappointed bibimbap didnt have kimchi though, just red cabbage). Hope to make it back sooner than later.

We ordered take out for Valentines day and not only was the food delicious but J s added a complimentary order of spring rolls and 4 mini desserts. It was such a nice surprise and we look forward to ordering again! Would highly recommend their Sushi!

Js has been my go-to sushi spot for years and I just keep going back. I recently tried their Pad Thai (one of my favorite foods) and it is superb. Affordable, fast services and consistently delicious food.

We tried Js for the first time last night, and got the couple roll set for take-out. The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the little complimentary desserts. However, the sushi itself was very, very disappointing. We had read reviews saying that they have the best sushi in Fredericton, we dont live in town but if thats the best, its pretty sad. The worst part was the rice, which was wayyyy overcooked, so all the sushi had a pasty, gummy consistency. There was like a half teaspoon of pickled ginger and wasabi, not nearly enough for a large tray. The ginger was soggy, not crunchy, and the wasabi wasnt pungent at all. Everything felt mushy and bland. None of the brightness or freshness that you want to see in sushi. If it was just an overcooked batch of rice, it should have been tossed out, and if this is how it is all the time, its just bad sushi. I would honestly leave one star, but people work hard, and maybe it was an off night. I cant speak to the rest of the menu, but were not exactly in a hurry to return after this experience. To spend $55 including tax and tip for this quality food was very disappointing.

I have gotten delivery from here several times, I usually get something new every time, and it is always delicious. I think a couple of the dishes could use some work--the glass noodles are a bit too salty, the pad thai is oily--but even then its always tasty. I also think its good value, with the bulgogi/spicy pork/meat dishes, its enough for 2-3 meals for me. I was initially recommended Js by a coworker, and it has never disappointed.

Sushi rolls were okay.....everything else was absolutely terrible. We got takeout and ordered the new chicken BBQ noodle; described as a fresh dish with rice noodles, fresh veggies, homemade pickles, delicious BBQ chicken, crushed peanuts and a piece of lime. What was there was a bed of rice noodles and lightly sauced, over cooked, cold chicken. Not to mention the tempura was soggy and cold. Not the first time they have disappointed. Quality and service have gone down hill the past year. They have officially lost my business.

Finally found the best tasting Asian/Korean food here in Freddy! The Spicy Bulgogi? the best! But the Pad Thai???!!! The crew are very accomodating too! Had a great experience! This will be our go to place for our cravings

Loved their bibimbap and agedashi tofu! Bibimbap was very fresh and the tofu wasnt oily and tasted yum with the sauce on the side! Our servers were super nice and polite! Loved the kpop music!!!! Definitely recommend Food

THEY DONT PASS ON THE TIPS TO THE SERVERS! How we found that out, we went there for the pad thai but one of the members of our group had some food restrictions so we asked the server what was in the pad thai, she talked down to us as if we should know what they all put in their pad thai, after taking a few more minutes with the menu a different server came to take our orders, he was very pleasant, when our food came out there was an egg on top of the padthai which we were not told about we informed him that the previous server didnt say they was egg in it. The original server came out and tried to put the blame on us for not asking if there was egg. We told her we asked what all the ingredients were and she didnt say egg. They changed the order for the member of our party. When it came time to pay our second server was the one with the bills, we really liked him, so I asked how the tips were split up cause I didnt want our original server to be receiving any of the tip at which point we were informed that the owners of the restaurant didnt pass along any of the tips. I was very upset about that cause this guy was super professional and deserved a good tip for his service.

J s Asian Kitchen was SO good, a group of 11 of us went for a friends birthday and it was such an amazing experience. From making the reservation and throughout the meal our group had such a great time. We all ordered different food, and all 11 of us had amazing meals. Then at the end of our meal the birthday girl got a cheese cake and each member of the group got little desserts. If I could recommend a restaurant to anyone it would be J s Asian Kitchen!! Thank you for the amazing food and experience J s Asian Kitchen!! Dietary restrictions: One person in our group is gluten free, and J s Asian Kitchen was so good at accommodating for this dietary restriction.

While the prices are higher than average, the sushi are much bigger, so I only spent about 8 more dollars than I would at a frozen takeout sushi place for MUCH better sushi. Honestly one of the best places to eat in Fredericton. My girlfriend got the veggie bento box and I got the tonkutsu ramen. The price was very fair, the portions were extremely generous, and of course the food was delicious. The small cookies that came complimentary with the order were also very sweet. We will definitely be ordering again soon. I am a fan for life.

Tried J s for the first time tonight and it was delicious!! We got the spicy roll set and the pad thai and it was a great portion for 4 people! Probably the best sushi I ve had in Fredericton so far! Love the free dessert too, super simple and appreciated :) 10/10, will definitely come back!

We ordered a Spicy Crab roll and a Spicy Tuna roll, but for some reason we got double of Spicy Crab, yet still got charged extra for the Spicy Tuna roll (it was like a dollar difference, so whatever). The taste was good, but a variety of flavour would have been nice. I get theyre understaffed and doing their best, but I feel a little more attention and care could have been made.

The cashier is very nice and friendly. This is Korean restaurant. The foods are yummy, and taste good. The cashier is cute. We went there on Saturday evening, July 2022, almost close time, so we have to take out foods. We ordered Pork BBQ, and they gave bonus of three pcs of veggie gyoza to try. Parking: Parking is free on weekends. Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible.

Visiting Fredericton, we just ordered for the first time from J s, based on a recommendation from a local, and I m glad we did! The bulgogi was delicious, the beef nice and tender, and the japchae was tasty. Note: the spicy option is indeed quite spicy, even for someone with a pretty high spice tolerance. Good-sized portions for the price. Excellent value. Definitely recommended!

This is a very good asian restaurant in downtown area. It offers great variety of asian food (Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc.) It is a lovely place for dining in with plenty of tables and seats. If you want to eat at home, they offer take-out plus delivery via Skip The Dishes with the highest rate on Skip The Dishes app. The owners and staffs are very nice. The service is always great. However during the peak hours, you may have to wait a bit to be seated and the food may take more time to be prepared.

Ordered from this location the other day and the food was specular! I order the Bento Box A and everything in it was delicious and well portioned. The bulgogi and the tempura shrimp were my stand out favourites. Would order again when my parents are up for a visit, they enjoyed it as well.

Ordered take away via Skip The Dishes to our hotel. The food was amazing, hot, tasty fresh, well packaged, & lots of it. A variety of flavors and deliciousness. The kimchi was nice & spicy, the miso soup sublime, nice crispy tempura with both savory and spicy dipping sauces, & the bulgogi & rice nicely spiced and tender. The contactless delivery was right on time. An excellent delivery dinner experience.

This use be my favourite restaurant and I m really sad to say that it s been different lately. I always get the vegan pad Thai and I ve never had issues but the last 5 times Ive asked for it vegan and It s come with egg on it. The portion size has also been A LOT smaller for $17.

Fantastic food and fantastic staff!

Food probably would have been good but after an hour wait, it never arrived. The restaurant gave the wrong Skip The Dishes courier our order. My wife has dietary restrictions and our other options around town on Sunday was pub food (cheese and meat), which wasnt an option for her. The restaurant refused to remake our order because they were nearing closing time, and we were forced to find something else to eat, already hungry and now cranky too. I wouldnt reccomend ordering Js through skip the dishes.

I came in Sunday 2:20pm, based on their hours on the web, they are open. When I arrived, the sign on the door also says open, when I get in, a guy lying on the chair got up said they are on lunch break, and he is not happy that I disturbed his nap, and he got up and felt like he is drove me out, very rude. Shouldn t they put a Close sign outside the door if they are on lunch break?
