We bring Chinese cuisine culture to Canada, by providing authentic, healthy and nutritious Chinese fast food with selective local ingredients.
This was so good I was jumping with joy. I have been looking for a place with steamed buns and couldn’t find any, I was already excited because I had found this place , now my life is fulfilled. The steamed buns, the soup dumpling, the spring roll, everything is amazing. You wouldn’t be able to take this food away from me even from my cold dead hands. I have find joy.
The server spilled soup on the table. We asked if the food is gluten-free, and they said yes, and when the food arrived, the noodles were made of wheat. Instead of offering new food, I just exchanged my food(sweet potato noodles) with my partners because no changes were offered. Please don't say yes on dietary restrictions when unsure because it can be a trip to the hospital. The noodle is not the best but not the worst, but the food was very salty and I put a lot of salt in my food but their food was really salty. My partner's food is barely touched. It's just a bad experience in general and we went here because it's near the airbnb we rented.
Has an amazing interior and some tasty food at a great price.
We LOVE this place. Delicious food - authentic and spicy (also milder options). We have been coming here for years every time we are in Fredericton- every time it’s delicious. They also offer self serve free water and games to play when waiting. I bring my four kids ages 12-4 and it’s easy to eat there with them since the food is delicious and the staff are super helpful. I strongly recommend!
My husband and I went here and we had awesome food !!! Both of us ordered noodles and shared the dim sum. Highly recommend if you like Chinese food ! Staff were very friendly!!
I was really excited to try “Bite of Beijing“. The reviews seemed good, unfortunately I did not have the same experience. We ordered Noodle, one with chicken and the other with sausage. The noodles were burnt. We order fried wontons, also overcooked. I did order the soup wontons and they were pretty tasty. Kind of disappointing for my first experience.
The food is very delicious , I eat the beef noodles, my daughter eat the Braised Rice with Pork and Soy Sauce, my husband eat Fried Pork Chop Rice
Got Wonton Noodle soup and sesame seed balls. Partner had just wonton soup. We are from BC. The wonton broth was ok, the wonton were ok too. The noodles weren't the real wonton noodles I'm used to, it's just spaghetti. And the sesame seed balls were smaller than I'm use to. It was a ok meal. Edit: Thank you I will try the handmade noodle next time.
Fantastic food and even better service. The staff was super helpful even though they were really busy. Thank you for everything. Definitely a must try. The jianbing was wonderful.
If you like Dim Sum, you need to check this place out! I tried all the options but the top picks were the Shrimp Dumplings and BBQ Buns. They even gave me extra Chili Oil which is a must have for me when I get Dim Sum! I cant wait to have more when I visit Fredericton again.
I drove by Harry on my way back to Montreal. As a Beijinger with nearly 50 years of experience, I felt that having such a restaurant was very friendly. Its a fast food, the old Beijing noodles with fried sauce, pancakes and fruit are pretty good. You cant compare it with the authentic Beijing delicacies, but during this journey in the wilderness, you can have such a place to drink hot tea and eat a bowl of fried sauce. Noodles and egg drop soup, I m already very happy!
On my way back to Montreal from Halifax with a friend, my friend took me to eat, which was pretty good. The waitress was so kind to us. . .
Today, a friend from Beijing took me here to taste the pancakes, fruit and noodles. They were both delicious.
Foods are good. We will come again.
This was a highly disappointing restaurant experience. The female server and a male chef were both extremely arrogant. Although they didn t seem like the owners, they acted as if they owned the place, treating customers with a haughty attitude. The quality of the food was also terrible. The noodles in the beef noodle soup were clumped together and stuck to each other, and overly salty. To make matters worse, the beef in the hot soup was cold. Both the service and the food quality were unacceptable.
I have been here a few times and I am very impressed with freshness, quality and taste of the meals and the customer service is always super. The menu has a variety of items that are different from the usual Chinese restaurants and their specialty is the Chinese crepes, and these are made fresh right in front of you.
Love it
Was surprised to find hand pulled noodles on the menu, they were great and nicely chewy. Shumai were super juicy and porky. Everything was hot and fresh. The food was very good, a little more light/freshness and it would be amazing.
Some of the best Chinese food Ive had in a while, better than anything Ive had in Montreal and Edmonton, probably on par with some of the best places in Vancouver, everything was made fresh.
I was passing through this city and wanted to eat Chinese food, but it was not authentic Chinese food. Although I paid a tip, they did not provide table service. Maybe I gave it too early. The hot and sour noodles are packed in a disposable box. Although the explanation was given that the chef was busy and forgot about it, you can easily pour it into the bowl without any trouble. The first time I ate braised beef noodles was actually dried noodles. The bowl was small and there was almost no soup. The taste and noodles may not be the kind of beef noodles I usually eat in restaurants. It s hard to comment. I won t come here again.
It was a very hot day in Fredericton and this gem of a restaurant saved me. I have always loved braised beef and made it happen by combining it with chao fan! Excited to go back to Freddy and get food from here again.
Food is served in disposable containers. :( Spicy vegan noodles were tasty, but only had spinach and a sprinkle of iceberg lettuce.
Avoid this restaurant! I dont know how it got so many good reviews, its completely fake Chinese food. We were passing through Fredericton and ordered a roujiamo, a bowl of fried bean paste noodles and a bowl of red oil pork noodles from this restaurant. The outer shell of the Roujiamo is made of bread similar to McDonalds. The meat inside is not fresh and tastes very dry. It is not authentic Roujiamo at all. I had a stomachache all afternoon after eating it. . . The fried noodles are made from instant noodles, and the stewed wontons are huge and salty, making them completely inedible. Lightning protection! ! !
I love the green onion noodles! I added roasted chicken which is my personal favourite add-on. I love spicy food so I added some of their chilli oil, tasted great. Definitely would recommend to my friends :D
Their sunrise chicken bowl is amazing! Calm atmosphere. Great spot for lunch if youre downtown.
Im glad to find this gem in fredericton. Taste really authentic! Soup dumplings are great, Chinese Pancake is perfect! Food
Some of the best Chinese food Ive ever had!
Incredible delicious. The taste of this food is the best. A very nice place to come alone or with you nuclear family
Its was nice warm place and like I restaurant and fast food style
My stomach hurts now and the food was bad
The noodles were great and the spring rolls were like dessert. My daughter was wearing a Blackpink sweater and without asking the girl at the front desk changed the music to Blackpink. Great time and service.
The green onion oil noodles are a budget friendly lunchtime fave. Comes with half of a tea egg. Ask for hot sauce if you like it spicy, they make some in house.
This is a very cute restaurant with very unique, authentic food.
The staff is friendly and the food is authentic, at least very similar to what I had when I went to Beijing in 2019. Ive had verity of the menu items and they are all delicious. I recommend it to my classmate and she also loves it.
Food is very good, but hard to do over lunch, as it takes 20-25+ mins to make fresh. I took my kid for lunch from school... transit plus cooking time made her a bit late. But... if you have time - good eats!
Very bad experience! We ordered beef noodle, told that we need to wait for a long time. We paid the order and went out. After 30 minutes, we came back, found the customers who are behind us were already served, but, our food were NEVER cooked ! We request the money back and left! Ridiculous and absurd! Didnt the waiters know how to serve multiple customers?? We ordered braised beef noodles and chaos, paid, went out and waited for 30 minutes, and came back and told us: Its not done! What s funnier is: the customer who ordered after us had the same braised beef noodles! He asked for his money back and left. Are the waiters so low-key that they can t handle multiple orders, or they just won t make them if they re not in the store? What a disgrace to tourist attractions!
Many people have said how cities like Paris and Naples are places that you should visit before you die. And I per believe that it would be an insult to not include A Bite of Beijing on that list. The food is always perfect temperature and amazingly seasoned, the service is so kind and accommodating, and the atmosphere gives you an excellent experience to eat with. Very safe to say that I will stop by this restaurant every time I visit Fredericton.
Edit: Changed from 4 stars to 5 stars. Management replied to my review saying theyve decided to increase the portion size of the handmade noodles immediately. It really shows they care about their customers feedback, and Im very impressed. ------- The Beijing noodles tasted great, tried it with their handmade noodles. The portion was not big (only filled about 1/3 of the takeout bowl), but the price also isnt very high so not too unreasonable. Friendly service.
Ordered the eel and a couple of fried wontons. It was ok. Canned corn and raw carrot lacked inspiration. The rice was unseasoned. It was edible but not desirable on the whole though the eel was yum. The atmosphere in the restaurant sucks.
Stopped in for a bite. No AC. They make you counter order? Food was boring.
Not good at all as a Chinese food. Taste gross
The shop has lunch specials for only $10, good place for a lunch break.
Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Would definitely return!
Great food!
Very nice staff and good food. I like the desserts. Would come again.
Good quality and cheap, delicious and not expensive. It is the ceiling of Katong Fried Noodles. One bite takes me back to old Beijing. The fried noodles taste very chewy and are suitable for brothers and sisters who have a heavy mouth. The boss also gave me three freshly fried sesame balls. The service was not good. Gotta say it! Recommended to Chinese people passing by Federicton who are worried about their food, don t miss it!
Recommended, tastes good and very authentic.
Service was very pleasant, the food was great and the prices are good. I had the BBQ pork rice bowl. It was delicious and the amount of pork provided was very generous!
Very delicious
very delicious
Came here expecting greasy american-chinese food but was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, affordable, and tasty Chinese restaurant! They have some things for those looking for Americanized meals such as sweet n sour pork but the rest of the menu is fairly authentic. Not necessarily knock your socks off food but overall very decent, especially for the price point
Very good food, super nice. If your downtown I would recommend checking it out! :)
Loved the food and the service was great!
A rare authentic Chinese food, the food tastes great, the service attitude is also very good, the store is warm and has books and educational toys suitable for children, five-star praise. Kid-friendliness: There are meals and dining environments suitable for children
10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants a good authentic Chinese meal, or anyone who wants to try something new! Their wonton soup is a 10, perfect amount of flavour and sesame oil the shrimp chips slap, as per usual. I decided to do a half-half rice because I wanted to try the eel and my GOD it was good. Also! Dont be shy, try the tea egg. Trust me the only thing I wasnt crazy about was the blandness of the steamed rice, but there was enough flavor in the bowl that seasoning the rice wasnt really necessary anyway. next time Im trying their dumplings and spicy noodles
The pastry is crispy and the milk is rich. There is soft pudding inside. It tastes rich but not sweet.
Quick service, lunch specials 11-2pm, really yummy!
Fantastic food, decently priced, quick service. The guy taking your order is super helpful with suggestions for if youre coming for the first time. Highly recommend the crispy beef roll!
We ended up coming to A Bite of Beijing by accident on the first night we moved to Fredericton about 2 years ago, since we didnt check the closing time of somewhere else we wanted to go. Ever since then, weve regularly eaten in and ordered takeout from here, and never been disappointed! This isnt westernized Chinese, this is authentic, and it shows in the flavours. The dishes are super tasty and come with a lot of meat as well as extras packed in. The portions sizes are also fantastic - weve never gone hungry! Its a sweet little vibe inside too, nice and calm. They are doing some small renovations as I write this right now, but that just means itll be even better!
This is a wonderful place. The employees are always really friendly and kind. I always get the custard buns and the peach buns and they are to die for!! I m sure the rest of the menu is just as good, and I look forward to returning here when I visit New Brunswick again!
Place was clean people were polite and the food was delicious
Very cool place, food was great, definitely recommended
I stayed in this province for three days and ate Beijing flavor for two days. I can t help but praise the boss!! It s very humane. The second time I ate was in the evening. It was probably a holiday, so it closed early. I called to make a reservation. During the takeout, they answered the phone and heard the Chinese voice but decided to boil water again to make noodles with soybean paste for me!!!!!! (I heard they were celebrating New Year s Eve upstairs! Having a reunion dinner) Thanks to Beijing Taste hehe !! It s not easy to find delicious Chinese food in this province!!! His food attracted me! But the boss s human touch moved me even more!!!
This place is not perfect, but not bad. We ate there quite a few times (me and my daughters). Service could be more effective, like checking if it is time to clean or help with something. Overall I would say it is nice and comfy inside while meals not fantastic, just normal.
Real Chinese food! Love it.
Tried A Bite of Beijing for the first time and got the Kung bao chicken and the fried noodles. I really enjoyed the Kung bao chicken , but the noodles were not to my liking. I ordered the mild spicy version and it looked tasty. However when I took a bite I could taste some spices Im not very fond of. Still thats something that just comes down to preference. I definitely want to try more from this place in the future! Ill just avoid the fried noodles
Am so glad they have vegan options!!! Tried their spicy vegan noodles - was yummy! Not as spicy as I wouldve liked it tho but it was still delicious! The staff is super friendly! Cant wait to try other vegan/vegetarian options on the menu!
It is awesome!! Good!! Kids friendly!
I an extremely disappointed at this restaurant. Everytime I have been here there has never been jian bing. Im not from fredricton and I travelled from saint john just to have jian bing. If you are not offering jian bing dont keep it in your menu. Atleast put a post up on your facebook page so we can be updated. I ordered kung pao chicken today thinking that it will be authentic. It was tasteless and blant with nothing that tasted like kung pao chicken. Who puts sweet corn in kung pao? I have lived in Beijing for 3 years never ever tasted something like this. The chicken looked black in color. There was no sauce it was so dry. All i saw the chicken has peanuts and red chilli peppers thats all. I had to throw half of my meal in the garbage. I had to put up a review because I was so disappointed with my meal and jian bing never been offered at this location.
Three of us went, 1 soup, 1 rice dish, 1 noodle dish, 3 canned drinks came to $45. Felt a little pricey. Food came out one dish at a time nearly 10 minutes apart. I had the Beijing noodles, they were tasty however the description and picture on menu led me to believe there would be pieces of pork on top....there were 2 tiny cubes.
I was in Fredericton to see the dance competitions being held at the Convention Centre. The day before, I had noticed A Bite of Beijing, which is just a short walk away from the centre, and decided Id pay them a visit. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who took my order. I asked for a large bowl of wonton soup and an order of spring rolls. My back was hurting so I wasted no time and sat down. I was relieved to see that they had some cushions on a bench against the wall. Great back support! I was expecting the lady to just holler when my food was ready, but, she brought the food right to me. Not only did she have what I had asked for, but she gave me some sesame balls and a green tea, telling me that I could have them for free. I thanked her and told her how sweet she was. The food was delicious! There was an extra layer of flavour to the wonton soup and I look forward to having another opportunity to return!
I miss the crepes but all of their food is excellent.
Tastes good, the portion is too small, very delicate
The taste is very good and authentic! The price is moderate and the quantity is a bit small.
At around 4 oclock, I took the children out to play. I didnt have time to cook, so I went directly to Taste of Beijing. One of the children ordered salt crispy chicken, which is sweet and crunchy fried chicken. The portion was huge. The children especially liked it, even those with big appetites. After finishing the meal, one child ordered eel rice, which was a large piece of eel. The pickiest child ate two meat buns. I was lucky enough to eat the last pancake of the day - delicious and convenient fast food, highly recommended! The kids also played a few games of chess.
The braised beef noodles were alright, but the rougamo was awful. Too much cilantro, and the bun was an English muffin.
It s nice to have these specialties from different provinces in Fredericton. If you miss Chinese food for a few weeks, this is the place to get your fix.
The vermicelli + soy sauce soup used for the braised beef noodles is not the same at all, it s too unpalatable The rice is also very little
To define yourself as fast food, you have to charge first. But tip as normal in restaurants. The point is that corresponding services cannot be provided. The worst restaurant Ive ever eaten at.
Delicious food!
The roujiamo is the smell from the subway entrance in Beijing before school. It is very fragrant. The fried noodles are a bit sweet but it is much better than the Beijing roast duck and Quanjude duck pear in Toronto. Don t order any of the above. It is more authentic than the Chinese food in Toronto and Beijing.
Super delicious , especially the Kung Pao Chicken, love it
As a visitor to fredericton from Hong Kong, the food from this restaurant can always cure my homesickness. My son and I have been here a few times and we are very happy about the great taste and big portion of the rices, the customer service is superb .
Excellent. Another fantastic Asian food experience on this block. Had the beef noodle soup with with the hand made noodles ... a little extra .... best noodles Ive had in a long while. Home cooking made with care.
terrible food
Very Very Good Food! I order regularly! : ) Dietary restrictions: They are very careful with any allergies a customer might have!
My friend is a foodie and ordered lots of sampler items for us. The modest combo is a nice deal and definitely get the sesame balls!!
OMG this place is SO good. I had the beef jianbing with cracker and it was probably the best lunch I ve had in years. Reasonably priced, so flavourful and lovely service. Loved it.
Tried this place for lunch today and I will be back. Delicious and freshly prepared
How amazing to find this little jam in this small city. Truly authentic when it comes to Chinese food. Big portion and fair price. Absolutely in love!
I don t know why everyone doesn t eat here. Their egg tarts are like eating sweet fluffy clouds. I ve also had the Jainbing, Kung Bao chicken, pork pie and Chinese popcorn. It is all fabulous. The owners are very friendly, and the eat in part of the restaurant is informal and light. Great Spot!
Thanks for the great spicy incense pot! Hot, and very tasty!
Best Asian food I had
Not what I expected, someone refered me for Bubble tea, not the best experience
So much to choose from excellent service
Love.the food here and the people are super friendly.
My office is not far from them. So, I went there 1 or 2 times every week for lunch, even during the pandemic. They provide the best ever, authentic Chinese tastes. They also provide different promotion combos everyday, which makes it easy to try different things (and all dishes on the list is classic). I just go there on different date, and pick the thing on discount, no menu panic at all. Finishing a hot Beijing dish, and grab a cup of Canada Tim. l love my life.
Friendly service, tasty food. The jainbing has been a little hit and miss, sometimes really great, other times not so much. Consistency is a bit of a problem in Freddy overall. I do wish there was more variety, but at least what they do make is generally pretty good. Overall I know Ill be back for more and would recommend.
good place and the true taste from beijing
Came here with my girlfriend and some friends. Kind staff, short wait for food. It was so good my girlfriend who hates fish actually loved the eel she stole off of my plate.
Authentic, skilled and delicious! Their menu has a focus on Northern Chinese food, along with a greatest hits of various other regional Chinese cuisine. The Hong Shao Rou was tender, meaning they took their time to braise the beef. The Squid (on rice) had just the right amount of pop, where often it is overcooked even at authentic restaurants. The Jianbing was well composed and balanced, soft and crunchy. The siumai the right amount of springy. The handmade noodles were chewy and not too thick. Well cooked in both the Jiajianmian and the Hong Shao Rou, the latter having a broth with a delicious note of 5 spice with the Star Anise singing through. Portions are fair for the price, filling, and they dont skimp on ingredients; though a place in Toronto might offer a similar meal for less or a greater portion. Keep in mind that ingredient cost is probably lower in a bigger city with more suppliers, as is competition. I dont even have time to sing the praises of their milk tea with cream cheese foam, and their fantastically flakey egg tarts. A Bite of Beijing is not shy of providing an authentic Chinese food experience and does so with great care in their craft, which shines through with each first bite, down to the last piece. It easily takes the spot as best authentic Chinese food in New Brunswick. Although in my experience, the dishes they serve easily rival and beat out a lot of the aforementioned authentic restaurants in Toronto. And it does so with highly skilled and time consuming technique, across a variety of cuisines. Ive been in NB for the better of 8 years. A Bite of Beijing is the place Ive been wishing to find this whole time.
If you are looking for something tasty and different, look no further. This place is amazing and the staff are very friendly. This is our second time eating there and we will be back for sure. My husband and I got fried rice noodle dish this time. Last time he got the eel and I tried a bite and loved it. I think next time we go here I am going to try the dumplings. Everything on the menu looks tasty and its hard to decide what to get. Guess we will just have to go more often.
Loved the food it was delicious and the bubble tea was awesome too.
The food is very good and quite cheap in price. I would go back anyday. Everything I had was high quality. They have high standards for quality and cleanliness.
Excellent
My kids love eel bowls. Great taste
Great little spot in the heart of Fredericton!
Great homemade food made on the spot
good tasty and fast pick up time
Cozy place with great asian cuisine. Good prices and the service was outstanding. As soons as we got in there we felt a nice atmosphere.
Not expensive and tasty I got spicy incense pot, braised beef noodle, tea eggs, bubble tea. They are all amazing
More of a take away than restaurant. Small dining room, was clean. Toilets could do with a cleaning especially the sink and taps. Food v good, reasonably priced. Had the chicken fried rice, v good and jasmine tea. Menu showed gf and vegan options. Daily specials available
A bit of a sleeper hit in Fredericton. Ive tried a couple of things on their menu and they are consistently tasty. My favourite are the veggie jianbing, their pork dumplings, and the Phoenix dessert bun
Its ok nothing awesome it was not as good as the rating says the pepper was in big chunks probably thats how the recepy is . We ask for the two recomendations the rice and house noodles and my wife didnt like the noodles so is not bad but different and nothing memorable
Been there one time and not planning on going back, food was expensive and too salty. We didnt finished our food.
Served with cold old rice. When I told him the rice was cold, he said:oh ok left. Again, Im not rude neither demanding. 4.8 rating. For sure some of them are bots.
I stopped by on a recommendation from a friend and wasnt disappointed! The food was delicious and the menu has a lot of variety. The prices are also quite good. It has a good atmosphere & decor too. I cannot recommend this place enough. I cant wait to go back!
What a gem! The service is friendly, prompt and professional. The food presentation well done. So fresh and delicious! Affordable and well worth the time to sit in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
I passed by this place while traveling and ordered a bowl of fried noodles. The cook must be from Beijing, he has a pretty good taste. recommend!
Wonderful place! Great Chinese food and friendly service! Highly recommend!!!
Great food and very friendly! Reasonable prices with a great snack selection!
Their egg tarts are really delicious! Highly recommend the egg tarts and spicy hot pot!
Nice place and nice food. Staff is very nice and helpful
The food was delicious, highly recommend the pork pies and homemade bubble tea. The service was very friendly and helpful as well, I cant recommends highly enough!
Great service and delicious food
In December, I went to the restaurant to have authentic, delicious Beijing noodle and then went back to my city. Now I nearly tasted all Chinese restaurants within my place and no one can be comparable. Miss Chinese taste now.
Lucky to have some authentic Chinese offerings in downtown Freddy. The beef noodle will be something I crave for often!
Fast, delicious, quick, good!
I had the super jianbing and it was incredible - highly reccomend!
So fresh and tasty! Love the crispness in the super Jiangbing!
Amazing super jianbing. Ultra tasty!
Great food and service.
Great original Chinese food Did you know The Qing dynasty was a major period in the formation of Beijing cuisine. Before the Boxer Rebellion, the foodservice establishments in Beijing were strictly stratified by the foodservice guild. Each category of the establishment was specifically based on its ability to provide for a particular segment of the market. The top ranking foodservice establishments served nobles, aristocrats, and wealthy merchants and landlords, while lower ranking foodservice establishments served the populace of lower financial and social status. It was during this period when Beijing cuisine gained fame and became recognised by the Chinese culinary society, and the stratification of the foodservice was one of its most obvious characteristics as part of its culinary and gastronomic cultures during this first peak of its formation.[1][2][3][4]
The owners are absolutely lovely and the jianbing are delicious. Very reasonably priced, fast, and friendly service. Egg tarts are buttery and soft. Worth picking up breakfast and the lunch deals are great.
Fantastic, authentic Beijing street food. Definitely give them a try!
Love the bubble tea and the food :)))
A-MA-ZING place, taste and price. I have eaten it two days straight and I am not disappointed. Recommended for anyone
Disappointing. Wife got the spicy vegan noodles and liked them. I got the braised beef noodles and they were flavorless. Four chunks of beef (actually three plus one chunk of gristle) and some broth that was brown but tasted basically like water with a pinch of salt. Two stars because my wife liked hers. My food was one star at best. Edit: took out a bit of over the top wording. My noodles werent great but my wife really liked hers and I appreciate the prompt response from the owner. Maybe I just ordered something that wasnt a good fit for my palate.
Very friendly.
Having the tastes of Taipei on my palate from a recent trip, I cant describe the cuisine on display here as anything but authentic. Yes, its street food served in a restaurant setting, but for what it is it is priced fairly and is just an absolute delight to shove down your gullet. Make sure to ask for chopsticks in order to pace your bites properly, though, as these foods are intended to be eaten in small bites.
A fantastic little restaurant. The food is wonderful, authentic, and delicious. Very friendly staff.
Super friendly and well priced. Pork Buns are so good!
Very nice people and good food
Great little place, delicious food and affordable meun!
Best cheesy foam tea of my life.
Food was good...small portion for the price
Ive had this place numerous times and its truly amazing.. however Im vegan and Ive ordered the Chinese vegetable ( only ) a few times and it seems like theirs been tiny pieces of pork inside it. Besides that the food is very very good
Great taste and portions for the price. We got the jianbing crepes, egg and tomato. noodles, and the Beijing noodles. Egg tarts are made in-house and are delicious! Highly recommend trying the crepes if youre in the area. The atmosphere is also clean and well-decorated. :)
Food is delicious and service is great!
Very delicious. I came here specially from St. John. The pancakes and fruit are very popular.
Good food and great service.
Very tasty Jianbing, noodles and egg tart! Highly recommended!
We ordered bacon jianbing, egg rolls, pork dumplings, soy milk and iced lemon tea. They were oh so good and filling. They even gave us a sampling of their egg tart which was oh so dwlicious we had to buy some to take home! The foods are reasonably priced, the staff so friendly, the place so neat, the washroom so pretty and clean. We will definitely keep coming back here.
Its been almost 5 months since I left China so I figured it was time to try and find real Chinese food, not the Western version of it. I had the pork pie and the jianbing and both were authentic and delicious. Staff was also very friendly and the restaurant was immaculate.
Tried for the first time and loved it. Must try beef jianbing. Its my new favourite. My husband loved egg tart. The service is awesome and lovely people.
Very clean. Friendly staff and very good food.
Came to Fredericton for a conference and was looking for Chinese food. This place was conveniently located, and the food was really good! I discovered this place one evening and immediately came back again the next morning!
Good food, nice people!
Egg tarts are the best!!
Very good taste, real home country favour
This place is super clean and the people that work there are super nice. The noodle tastes so good. Love it ! Totally a surprise in beautiful Fredericton!
Egg tarts, beef noodles, and fried dumplings are all delicious, all authentic Chinese taste!
Inexpensive and very tasty Beijing street food. Specify the spice level when ordering at the counter. The staff were welcoming, helpful and keen to provide explanations of the ingredients in the dishes unfamiliar to us. Give the jianbing (crepes) a try, especially if you have not tried them previously.
Especially authentic pancakes and egg tarts, delicious, must eat every week!
For a REAL Chinese food experience this is the place to go. Fantastic staff and food to drool over!
Great food!
Eggtart is so delicious! Come and eat some! It is really good! Super Jianbing is also very good!
I lived in Beijing for 3 yrs . Driving from Toronto I d recommend anyone who want to try northern Chinese cruise to this place. The beef noodle is really tasty!
Great eating experience with a modern feel, fantastic food and friendly service, highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to eat!
Eating here was a wonderful experience. The food was very well prepared and delicious, while the restaurant itself was exceptionally clean. Presentation was very beautiful as well, and the place looks very bright and welcoming. Being downtown, the restaurant is very accessible and should definitely be visited if you are hungry or looking to try some new food!
Wonderful taste, friendly employees, clean environment. A place where u can try great Chinese food. Recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!!
I cannot get enough of their jianbing (Chinese crepe). Super authentic yumminess!
Just visited for the first time and ordered their Beef Noodle Soup and Pork Pie. Both were delicious! I havent had such good Pork Pie since I studied in Shanghai.
Stopped in today and had Jianbing for the first time, and also had a bite or two of the braised beef bowl. Both were excellent!
Awesome little spot downtown! Must try the Beijing noodles and pork pie.
This place has excellent dumplings, egg tarts, and pork pies. The noodles I had were satisfying, though not exceptional, but Fredericton is lucky to have this little gem of a restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the staff kind and generous.
Stopped by when we were out for a walk today and sampled the dumplings and spring rolls and the delicious nougat that they hand make there. The food was v good and we plan to go back soon for a meal. Bravo Jo.
Excellent service and the food is great!!
Two words: Egg Tarts. Theyre delicious! I hadnt had properly made egg tarts in a long time until I decided to try this place a week ago. Theyre super delicious and taste like exactly what I remembered. Fresh is good but if you put them in the fridge for a couple hours and eat them cold, its even better! (The egg sets into a nice firm-ish custard).
VERY cool food, you can try it, wonderful service and atmosphere.
Amazing staff and the food is great. The Jianbings are incredible
My boyfriend and I went here and we had the spicy incence pot and the kung bao chicken. To preface this, my partner went to china when he was younger has wanted to go back ever since. He ate a bite of the incence bowl and was immediately brought back and got a little misty eyed. 10/10 it was insanely delicious
Ever wonder where chefs eat on their day off. This is one of those places. Fantastic and authentic Chinese/ Beijing food. Just ask the friendly staff what you should order to take full advantage of the menu. You know its good when a Chinese National shows up with a glass dish from home to pick up his food. Had Meat pie, Crepes, spring rolls and bubble tea. All of these were perfect. Tip well because their prices are too low.
Authentic spicy hot pot!
Great food with great options
Great place. Had a very good rice bowl and egg tart. Very good service. Tasty food. So clean.
Shared 5 items on the menu with some friends and loved each one. Pork pie, Jianbing (crepe), tomato/rice dish, dumplings, and the egg tart were all delicious. You should make a point to go, Ill definitely be going back!
Absolutely delicious egg tarts and beef noodle soup
