Good food and great service! Would definitely eat there again 🙂
Great breakfast! By far our favourite in Fredericton. The staff are friendly, professional do a great job!! We go every week!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Fredricton Inn for a weekend and ate at the restaurant a few times. Featured is a breakfast sandwich with home fries. The breakfast sandwich was HUGE. Another day we had the eggs Benedict, that was also delicious. It was only eggs in an English muffin with the holandaise sauce. Lastly is potato bacon soup bowl, which was also very delicious ! The servers were kind and the food came soooo quickly. When it came to alcohol selection there were very few options, but this wasn’t something that bothered me. The tables by the window/green house style area was different and a nice experience.
Nope. Just nope. Decor is VERY outdated and not in a quaint way. The food was aweful.. steak was thinner than my finger, overcooked and very fatty. Ordered the whiskey and garlic cream sauce to go with the steak.. YUCK. It had no flavour. The 'mashed potatoes were so dry I had to use 5pks of butter and the rest of the cream sauce from my steak because I couldn't even swallow them. I am pretty sure they were packaged potatoes and not real. The only thing right about the meal was my caeser drink which was quite nice. Don't rely on their website for anything. The menu is wrong, their 'buffet' hours are wrong..
Love the ambiance of the restaurant had wings that were out of this world and 8 oz steak. All and all yes price was somewhat high but food was awesome. Was impressed with the rooms as well huge beds were amazing slept like a baby. Would recommend Fredericton inn to anyone.
Update: After our 3 day stay, we ate Super 3 times, and each time became increasingly better. My last meal was awesome service and food! We got here about 5 minutes before they opened. My husband was a bit confused about which dining room to go in, so he opened the door and got his head practically bit off. We decided to eat in the bar area. The service there was excellent. My rating was on the lady who served us our supper and the bar tender. If I rated the other staff we had for our lunch, I would have given them 1 star. Couldn't say that about the main dining room or the lunchtime dining room staff were friendly at all. At lunch ( The Brass Rail Room), we asked if we could have a pickle with our sandwich and was told they didn't have pickles. However, there are sandwich on the menu that come with them on it. It's a bit confusing because I guess it's actually 2 different restaurants and a bar, all operated from one kitchen and by the hotel..🤷♀️. The food was super expensive and while it was ok. The serving sizes were not that big ( referring to sides). The hours are odd they are only opened for 3 or hours from 5 to 8 or 9. All in all, I would not go back.
Walking into the Regency Room feels a bit like a time warp. The '80s are calling. It's a bit stuffy, but clean and everything looks very well looked after. The food was decent - French Onion Soup was excellent! Cheesecake for dessert was quite dry and crumbly. Service was very friendly and attentive.
The food was terrible ! The steaks looked like minute steaks, flat and unappetizing. Our friends ordered a burger and had to be sent back because the meat was burnt. The tortellini’s were good but one plate was dry and the other way too much sauce. Overall I would not recommend this place at all!
Food was ok. Lady serving was trying her best. Dated decor. Seems to be for ages 65plus
Enjoyed the buffet even though it could have been hotter. Great selection of food and deserts.
Problems with some of the dishes, service was great, really enjoyed the time with daughter and son-in-law, relax atmosphere.
Dated interior. I felt young in there and I am not. Food was meh. Presentation was good. Nothing stood out.
Good food, place is a bit dated, same as the hotel.
The food was good, good customer service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Great spot to eat especially if youre at the hotel!
Service was above average. Food was delicious. Portions were reasonable. Decor a little antiquated but pleasant.
Had supper with my daughter at the Regency Dining Room. What made our supper great was the bartender Glenn serving us. He provide quick food delivery and amazing client delivery. Vegetarian options: There was quite a few selections to pick from
Wow Very Good buffet & Service & Good Deal & Prize..
Have not been here for quite a while until today. Was better than what we had on a prior visit insofar as food quality. Parking: Hotel based so expect less available spots to park if events or special seasons are happening. Wheelchair accessibility: Grade level to hotel entrance and restaurant
Meal and service were excellent.
I really like going to the oak lounge, it has a really good atmosphere and the bartender was great!
The service was amazing, and the food was spectacular.
Food was very good service was excellent.
Rugs, bad smells everywhere, not good for people who have allergies.
Prompt& friendly service, had two very enjoyable meals.
Ate there for the first time and was blown away from it. Had the best hot turkey sandwich that Ive ever had there. The service is outstanding. Highly recommend it.
Great food, very nice Thanksgiving buffet.
Excellent ambiance quality service, food was very tasty and pricing was fair. Gave a good tip as the service justified the tip
The service here was amazing, as was the food. The wings were hot, crispy and delicious and the fish was succulent. My coworker had the seafood chowder and it was full of big chunks of seafood. We even got their dessert even though we were stuffed. They wrapped it and let us take it back to our room. Will definitely go back.
Ive never been here but I hear they have really cute floors.
Love this restaurant! Love the ambiance. When I go there I feel like Ive gone to a far away place. The food is excellent and the waitresses are excellent. This restaurant is my favorite.
ALWAYS FANTASTIC!!! SERVERS are great, food always delicious!
Just revisited The Regency Dining Room on mine and my wifes 25th wedding anniversary as we immensely enjoyed it when we were married in 1996. This time around we werent a fan, food wasnt as good as we remembered, the prices charged do not reflect the quality of food being served, veggies only lukewarm and steak ordered was tough and full of fat, premade frozen bread instead of fresh. Service however was very good.
I guess theyre not open on Sundays however website says different
Terrible service took over a hour for food
Other than the food and the service, everything was great. Ordered their burger battle burger for pick up. Very disorganized process for pick up and the food was cold and didnt taste fresh. The burger meat was pink all through the inside, and despite it being called a blue cheese burger, could barely taste any blue cheese on it, and not at all on the blue cheese dusted fries it came with. Couldnt finish it, even though I was really hungry. What a waste. Im not sure what their dine-in service is like, but I will never place a pick up order with them again.
Very friendly and professional staff. Have a large regular clientele which speaks to the quality of food and service.
Good meal with limited selections but our waitress said the menu was expanding in a day or two. Tuesday night the second entree was free.
Still the BEST-BEST-BEST in the Canadian Maritimes! Every time my wife and I stay at Maritime Canadas BEST hotel, the Fredericton Inn, we enjoy a beautiful meal in the Maritimes BEST restaurant, The Regency Room. On this trip, our server was Anne and she was GREAT. We are Maritimers and we know seafood. Being in the tour business, I have had meals all-over-the-place and as a fussy seafood lover, well ............. The Regency Room served the BEST Seafood Chowder I have ever had in my entire lifetime. Loaded with beautiful scallops, shrimp, clams, and more and more. Very tasty and excellent all-you-can-eat buffet dinners available as well. Beautiful historic/heritage-looking atmosphere and excellent background music. For you seafood lovers and nice easy-listening music lovers who visit Fredericton, New Brunswick, you must visit The Regency Room at the Fredericton Inn.
We apparently came at the wrong time there was a large group and they had just ordered so it was suggested we have the buffet. Unfortunately, it was severely limited and they didn t restock the rice. Lots of cold salad items, no soup or dessert all for $20. I will say that the chicken was good but one shouldn t fill up on that alone. Maybe next time it will be better.
Excellent meal and service was terrific! Prices are very reasonable. Very elegant setting!
Fine dining so a bit pricey. However, the food and service make it worth it.
We came across this place while travelling from new brunswick to nova scotia with my family. The service was exceptional. The food itself was pretty good but being a bit of a food snob, i would rate their food between average and above average. I ordered the chowder as an app which had a good amount of seafood, a nice thick consistency and a tasteful flavour. I had their signiture prime rib and it was dissappointing. Despite being cooked to a medium, the meat was dry and the au jus wasnt that good either. I expressed my concern and they immediately remade my dish as a medium rare. If you are used to getting that nice hot and juicy cut at the keg, this is nowhere near that quality. My wife enjoyed her fish and salad. All in all, its not really a place to brag about the food quality but the waitresses were so accomodating, friendly and really try their best. Due to that fact, i gave this resto a 4 instead of 3 and a big tip for their overwelming effort for customer satisfaction.
I had great service for the week I ate here. The staff even remembered what I wanted each day for breakfast. They also took great care to accommodate my celiac disease.
