Lunch & dinner menus with casual Italian fare & handmade pasta in a cozy setting with bar seating.
We went in a group for supper with a reservation last night. First, I ordered steak very well done. That’s is my preference. I was not vague and was super clear. My meal arrived and the meat was quite raw. Everyone in our group was surprised at how rare it was. Second, I found the waitress intrusive. She was very clear that she was rushing us out as fast as possible. I understand that Saturday night during early December is busy but there’s no need to try and take your dish from you while you’re still eating. Then to come and drop the credit card machine on the table and basically let you know while we’re still eating that she wanted us to move on. We did not stay long at all and I felt very rushed, like the waitress had an agenda and was very disappointed with my meal. The prices did not reflect the quality of meal for sure. I thought it was quite overpriced. Overall, I was not impressed by food or service.
It was a very fantastic night, MOCO is my TOP 1 restaurant in town.
Great place to eat. A little on the expensive side but worth it. Had the chicken parm with rosé sauce. Service was friendly and accomodating. Would definitely recommend!
Nice location downtown. My wife and I choose 2 standard items off the menu. The chicken Marsala and the pasta dish with mussels and scallops. Chicken Marsala was really good, the pasta dish was okay and it looked great but Pasta was bland and scallops were overcooked and rubbery. Service was really nice and the restaurant itself was nice. I would definitely return and try some other dishes. Staff were all great.
What a lovely place. Excellent service, and creative Italian offerings, both in food and drink. The Paper Plane cocktail and martini were terrific, as was the organic Sangiovese. The beef pappardelle, linguine Florentina, Sicilian calamari and beer salad were very, very tasty. Generous portions, not huge but not lacking, either. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
Wow! Super impressed by the amazing food. We were 7 people and we all loved our meals. No one had the same thing. I absolutely want to go back before I leave Fredericton.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with rustic decor and soft lighting that sets the perfect mood for a cozy meal. But it's the food that truly steals the show. We had the shrimp fettuccine (Chef’s special) and chicken Marsala, amazing flavours. I highly recommend both dishes. For an unforgettable taste of Italy right in your own neighborhood, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit!"
I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was prompt. The food, especially the salmon with roasted vegetables, was not only perfect but so delicious that I couldn't resist indulging. The espresso martini was amazing too. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional taste and service. The only downside is that it's a bit on the expensive side.
Vegetarian options: There are few vegetarian dishes here. Food
Execellent service, amazing GF (celiac safe) options! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options! Very knowledgeable about celiac Food : 5/5 | Service
Decided to try Moco last night for the first time. The first impression was , wow ! Nice spot, beautiful place with great decor. Staff i would rate 5 out of 5 , great staff ! I wish the food would have been better. i hate to rate the food as bad because the place was so good and staff was amazing,,, we ordered the charcuterie board it was ok it but it was over price and its not something that Ill remember after having. The meat balls ( the mess ) disappointing ! Dried inside and i dont think were freshly made ...maybe frozen,,not sure but I would give them a 1 out of 5 , for main we ordered lamb and risotto, chicken parm, angel hair shrimp an scallops and the pasta balognese... the risotto was terrible, couldnt take more than one bite, the garlic was so strong I dont think anyone could eat this. For this, I cant even give a one-star as it was not fit to eat. The angel hair was good, but small pieces of scallops over cooked and not fresh, I expected 2 or 3 larger scallops, I cant rate this dish higher than 3 out of 5 . The chicken parm was good but not delicious, The tomato sauce on the pasta was a 1 star out of 5 .the balognese was good, but again, a little blend, a 2 star out of 5 . I was really disappointed with the overall food, and its really too bad. i really wanted this place to be good, I was looking forward to trying this place. Overall, I would give this place another try because the service and atmosphere was a 5 out of 5 . Food needs a lot of improvement.
Cozy atmosphere, great service, delicious food and drinks! What more could you ask for? Try the chicken parm!!
Food was delicious. Staff was great. No complaints. Gone back twice since and will keep going for date nights.
WOW. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt like we were family at MOCO. We were a party of 6 and the staff were all so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food oh the food, the appetizers, the main dishes and dessert and of course a few bottles on Malbec helped. The food was fresh and delicious. If you re in Fredericton and looking for a place to dine, I highly recommend MOCO Downtown
BLAND BLAND BLAND...2 of us, 200 dollars for a meal we could of had at Boston Pizza...the Chicken Parm looked like you could use it as a Frisbee (overcooked) with store bought cheese in a bag sprinkled on it...NO idea how the palates of the ones giving this place great reviews work but in a REAL city this place would be out of business...BTW Im Italian and know the cuisine.
I had dinner here with my family and for me it is one of the best restaurants in Fredericton. Food, atmosphere and staff are delicious, amazing and outstanding
We had an amazing experience at Moco. The service was exceptional and the food delicious. Highly recommend !
First time coming to Moco last weekend. It was so good. I got the Luna alla Norma and my husband got the scallop and shrimp linguine. They were both incredible. We tried a couple cocktails too, the Made in Italy was sooo good. I m not a drinker but I would drink that lol. Overall it was a perfect spot for a date night. We ll definitely be going again and making our way through the entire menu.
Super
Great family run trattoria recommended by bar staff at our hotel. Our server on a busy Sunday night was the owner and the chef is her husband. Authentic pastas made in house. I enjoyed the escargot, focaccia and aglio e olio linguine. Matching Italian wines, I had the Rufino Chianti. Ohm nom nom! Vegetarian options: My piscetarian partner had a pasta with shrimp in a cream sauce, our colleague had the beet salad
First time here, and everything was incredible. The host/server staff were so friendly and welcoming. The menu is divine. And everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend!
We had last minute reservations and we re glad they could fit us in. It was a busy Saturday night in September. Our server was prompt and attentive. The food was well made and full of flavour. I quite liked the bucatini in spicy tomato sauce. The only negative was it was so loud, you couldn t carry on a conversation without yelling. Some sound baffling would be a benefit. I d recommend you try it out. A hip place.
This place is good. Had the carpaccio for a starter. Tasty but a little light on the portion. Was convinced to get the homemade pasta. It was very tasty but a tad too al dente for me, especially for fresh pasta.
Really nice food and atmosphere, lovely menu and lots of variety of things I wanted to order. Very chill atmosphere and nice tables/lighting. Waitress was very nice and helpful, very good attentive service. I have a severe nut allergy and it was handled very well, I even got a different bread and dip from my friend for the complementary plate before my meal arrived.
Always have a good experience here staff is amazing and food is delicious. Must try when visiting Fredericton!
We went to Moco last night. We made reservations but once there we realized we made them for the following week. Whoops. The hostess and manager were amazing. The restaurant was crazy busy but they worked their magic and hot us a table. We can t thank you enough. And oh by the way. The food was amazing as always. Thank you for the amazing service and over the top meal.
A solid meal - the chicken fettucine and zeppole were first rate - the arancini was ok. Wonderful location, atmosphere and service though!
Enjoyable meal. The space is broken up into small odd spaces. Service was show
This place was amazing. I took fellow judges here for the National Archery Championship. Their service was prompt, polite, and educated on the dishes. The food had good qualities although it tasted so good everyone wished there was more. The bread and their dip was so authentic Italian it tasted like being back in Italy. The price considering other restaurants in town, the quality and atmosphere was worth every penny. Its cozy size and exceptional atmosphere made this a night out to remember for a long time to come. Parking: Parking was a little down the street but not far to walk at all
Great restaurant, good service.
Had a fantastic evening with my wife. The food was great, the wine was excellent and the service was top notch. Cant get enough of that bread and olive oil too, yum! We cant thank Vanessa enough for a great experience. MOCO is a must visit. This is our second time, and it surely wont be our last.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my 50th with a delicious dinner at Moco Downtown. The food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were wonderful. We will definitely be back!
We had jack as our server. She was awesome and you could see she really cared about her tables and wanted to make sure they had an excellent night. The food was amazing, the scallops were cooked to perfection Food
This place came highly recommended and it is an absolute knock out. Food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Our server was Vanessa, and she was a gem. 10/10!
Food is awesome. Very tasty. Really worth the visit
Amazing service, even better menu options. Definitely a win for me, definitely be returning!
I am traveling from Hong Kong to the East Coast. It is my first time to visit a very friendly restaurant. The food and service are good.
Ate upstairs..was a bit more intimate. Had calamari and crab cakes and czar salad. Split amongst the 2 of us...was plenty for dinner. Crab cakes were tasty but I would say too salty. Calamari good. Salad good...used mesculin salad mix with ceaser. Was good although a bit heavy on the bacon. Service was very attentive.
Food is excellent! Staff are pleasant and professional. Go here anytime we come to visit. Something that could be an issue is its an older building, so it is not accessible friendly. Parking on really busy peak periods can be challenging, likely have to go to the paid garage nearby if you cant find curbside or a spot across the street. But again, food is always good here. Make reservations! Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.
Amazing atmosphere and delicious Italian food! I recommend!
We went here because one of our friends is gluten intolerant and gets super sick from cross contamination but this restaurant had none of that so they definitely know what they re doing. We all ate delicious meals and the staff were awesome and kind. Definitely coming back next time! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was great! No cross contamination.
Friends and I dined here last night. We were a large party, with multiple allergies that needed accommodations, and the staff was so wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious. Would love to visit again next time we are in Fredericton! Dietary restrictions: Excellent for celiac/nut allergy
Fantastic pasta! Staff were knowledgeable about gluten free options and offered helpful suggestions. I even got to enjoy some bread and dipping oil for an appetizer!! As someone with celiac this was such an amazing experience! Dietary restrictions: Lots of great gluten free options. Staff knowledgeable about cross contamination and celiac safety
The meal, chicken parmesan was ok. The presentation was a little lacking. The bread served before was like someone ripped tiny pieces off a piece and looked odd. Plus there were only a few pieces, about 5 or 6, for three people. Would only work out to be about a slice of french bread. Asked for more bread and their was more, problem was they charged for it. Never had this happen before.
Charming little restaurant with exceptional service. I had accidentally booked for the next day, but they were very accommodating and found a table for us. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. I highly recommend! Here are the three dishes we ordered: Luna Alla Norma, Sunday Pasta, and Fret Alfredo Your Way. --- Charming little restaurant with exceptional service. I had accidentally reserved for the next day, but they were very accommodating and found us at a table. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. I highly recommend it! Here are the three dishes we ordered: Luna Alla Norma, Sunday Pasta, and Fret Alfredo Your Way.
Went to MOCO tonight with my friend. We had a reservation at 6, and we were promptly greeted and sat. Atmosphere was bright, open and cozy. I also appreciated the few small hidden tables around the restaurant. Gin fizz and espresso martini were a freat start to our evening.Appetizers- Parm Bites and Arancini, were phenomenal. I had the Alfredo Florentina and my friend had the mushroom ravioli as entress- Top notch delicious- I also appreciated the bread and herb oil prior to our pasta. Our server Rebecca was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, and the rest of the team were kind and helpful. Carrot cake to share was delicious, not too sweet and the perfect size. I would highly recommend.
My boyfriend and I reserved a table last Thursday night for a special date night in town. And it sure was an awesome experience! We were served by Vanessa, she was so sweet, bubbly, fun and gave us sucj a great service! The food was exceptional!! We had the garlic parm bites for appetizer, and for our course meal the squash & scallop risotto and Sunday pasta!! My god it was great! We even had the pleasure to meet the owner who I can tell you care deeply for her customers and employees! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in NB!
Our service was great! The French onion bruschetta was terrible. Absolutely no flavour and not even enough for two people to share. Our meals were good but expected better. We came to celebrate my birthday which was made with the reservation. The fact you charge for every pepsi is ridiculous especially when you pay top dollar for drinks. I perfer Eastside and least get a dessert for my birthday.
I forgot to take a picture of our dishes but both our meals were extremely delicious. However, this place is pricey, so make it a special night.
Delicious food and excellent staff. Ive eaten here several times with large and small groups, and it never disappoints. Portions are appropriate and drinks are excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation even if just for two. Parking is dodgy in the area, plan ahead.
Top tier Italian cuisine for a decent price
We were sat upstairs. We werent offered any bread or anything to begin with. We were discussing wine options and the waitress, Martine, brought us a bottle that we didnt order. We then ordered brie dip and one of the plates brought had a short dark hair on it. We ordered chicken parm and the beef dish. Chicken parm was awful. Over cooked and bland. Brought it home for our dog. The beef ordered was so overcooked and chewy. Bland sides and not fine dining by any means. Very disappointed. The waitress offered a free desert but I told her I dont eat sweets and nothing else was done to make our experience better. Wont return and wont recommend to anyone we know. As a local business owner I was appauled at the lack of customer service and overall experience.
Was here with my partner a little over a month ago. Food was tremendous and atmosphere was great. My server, on the other hand, acted like she despised her job. Wouldnt look at me or engage in conversation (which we pay for that experience), tried grabbing my beer can when it was half full, and bolted away as soon as I paid -- no thank you or anything. I wont reveal the name but I certainly regret tipping and unlikely to return.
Took my partner to dinner here for his birthday last night. We both ordered from the dine around freddy menu. I saw a review about the chicken parm rolls being so bad the reviewer fed them to their dog, my partner said he thought the dog had a nice treat then, lol. Service was perfect, food came out quick and was hot and full of flavour. No complaints about our wine either. Moco never misses, be sure to stop by. Vegetarian options: A variety of yummy vegetarian options!
The pasta dishes are always a treat. Wonderful service.
Ordered take out got the ravioli with squash and my husband got the fettuccine. Both were bland and very oily. Listed as one of the best restaurants in Fredericton and so far that s kinda true. Most of the places to eat in the city are terrible. Moca included. And why do they all have the same dishes
Food is very rich. It is a very expensive spot.
Food was incredible. The complimentary focaccia bread came with an amazing sauce. I asked the waitress what was in it, she recited the ingredients off by heart saying she made it at home. That level of enthusiasm from the staff was unexpected. Try the smoked duck bolognese.
Service was great Scallops & Risotto tasted like roasted garlic and pepper. There was no flavour besides that. Too bad as the presentation was beautiful. Food
Great food and service. Its our go to place for special occasions.
Very good restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The layout on the 2nd floor allows for more intimacy with the bench seats (much appreciated) for a meal of 5 or 6 people. The food is delicious and the menu is very well balanced between pasta and meat. Much appreciated by our waitress who made us have a good time.
Expensive but delicious. I had a pasta dish with rice balls. Id definitely go back. Food
The pasta here is excellent, we had the Luna zucca, beef pappardelle and mushroom ravioli. The Calamari was also a hit. Great cocktails also, espresso martini is a favourite. Our server Vanessa was friendly and very attentive. Vanessa made excellent menu suggestions. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I had a great experience at MOCO. We ordered the Brie and Artichoke Dip, Arancini, a small Czar salad (amazing dressing) for our apps and the Lasanga and the Pasta Speacial for our mains. Every single item was so flavourful and delicious!!!!! Vanessa is also an incredible server! After dinner we said that we couldnt remember the last time we had such an amazing restaurant experience. Thank you! We are looking forward to our next visit.
We came here to celebrate a family members wedding anniversary with a group of 5. The atmosphere was great, the service was welcoming and prompt, the food was delicious, and they were accommodating of several various dietary restrictions. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. The highlight: they brought gluten free bread for the table. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated 2 members of our party who are gluten free with a ton of options available for them, and they brought gluten free bread for the table. Accommodated a severe peanut and crustacean allergy with care and ease.
This was our second night in three weeks. We were lucky enough to again have Danielle as our server, she is amazing. This was dine around Freddy event. The food and atmosphere is great. They accommodate dietery needs.Highly recommended. Parking: lots of parking in the area, there is a parking garage 2 mins from Moco.
We had chicken parm, chicken marsala and tiramisu. The tiramisu was perfect, suggest it for sure. The chicken parm and chicken marsala though were mediocre and nothing special about them.
MOCO Downtown is centrally located with a cozy atmosphere and a great menu. I was impressed with the presentation of the salmon dish I ordered. It was delicious too! The carrot cake is one of the best I have ever eaten. This restaurant is a perfect choice for a leisurely dinner.
Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. The service was top notch. We will definitely go back, it was the best way to start a first trip to Fredericton.Thank you so much.
The atmosphere and service were excellent, our waitress and hostess were amazing, however I was so disappointed by the food. I had very high expectations but honestly the food just was not great. My meal was overly salted, and I could not finish it because it was almost inedible.
Food has changed from last visit somewhat disappointing
Every time we go the food is always on point and the atmosphere is chill and inviting.
Garlic parm cheese bites very salty, shrimp was not deveined, salad greens were wilty, the croutons were stale. Atmosphere was awesome and the staff were awesome.
The whole visit here was wonderful. The arrancini balls with Pesto fried rice and house made marinara sauce were so good, then I was brought over Rosemary Focaccia bread, crispy at that, with balsamic vinegar and olive oil with herbs, a very nice free offering. Finished off with the Mushroom Ravioli, it was amazing. The server I had was wonderful. Great Gibeon a Thursday night. Definitely recommend this place.
Incredible. Vanessa was a fantastic server! The pasta was delicious!
Very good service and very good food. YUM! Lots of seating on different levels. Cozy atmosphere.
I had the gnocchi, it was excellent.
Great place, we had a really great experience. The food was incredible, and the service was wonderful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a really nice atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
Server was very quick and efficient. Tables are too low to eat comfortably. Got a beet salad and crab cakes - not my fav. The crab cakes were oddly flavored and the sauce with it didnt really go.
Best restaurant in Fredericton! And they have always been able to accommodate & give us a window seat. So many things on the menu we want to try! And the service is excellent.
The food was exquisite, cooked to perfection, spiced to light up your tongue. The service was kind, we do need a reservation as it is quite busy, but the food was worth it and good quality to price. I recommend the brie & artichoke dip entree and the Salmon piccata main dish!
The food was marvelous and well presented Dietary restrictions: They asked if anyone had allergies (shellfish) Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible
Best restaurant in Fredericton. Always delicious
We ordered calamari, a couple of pasta dishes, and mini doughnuts to top it all off. Food was incredible!!! I highly recommend this place. I plan to come back and try other dishes.
Had a great dinner. Salmon picata. My server, Sarah, was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good wine and amazing pasta dishes.
Food and service was good. Pasta is excellent here.
It was nice but as only 1 person I was placed by the door where folks come in; sorry folks but I cant do a thorough review; the rest of the place is probably nice too. *Note to self, where my sport jacket next time Im a master cannabis grower, VooDoo - I wear weed themed attire usually. My fault for the brutal seating.
Havent been to this particular spot since it was the Blue Door (Thats been gone for a hot minute!) - Pleasantly surprised at the tenant and the food was spectacular. Displaced the Palette as where Ill be taking friends for a nicer dinner, frankly. Staff was courteous, and the dining was intimate and relaxed. Might not be a great spot for larger groups without advance notice though, as most dishes are made to order from scratch. (Didnt see any signs of canned or mass market sauces, even, an area a lot of places in YFC love to skimp) Try the fried halloumi appetizer! Theyre like if Mozza Sticks got their act together and decided to have some flavour!
What a great surprise ! Its was sooo delicious. Definitely, its a n amazing restaurant to try. Service was impeccable, food was really hot and sooo good. Its worth the 5 stars.
As an Italian whose moved to Fredericton, I can say this restaurant is the real deal. Homemade tomato sauce, perfectly cooked pasta, and delicious appetizers. This will be a staple for us.
Absolute excellence in every way. The service..the atmosphere...the food...gnocchi is superb as was the chicken marsala. Will be back!!
Great food and service was amazing!
Delicious homemade pasta, kind staff, and very quick service! They very quite busy, but still managed to get our food out fast. The food was hot and fresh, and the drinks were cold and refreshing! Perfect date spot, would recommend!
Great food nice staff, but clearly run off their feet
Food was amazing ! We are from BC and Italian and friends of ours in New Brunswick said we had to come here. Did not disappoint and we will for sure come back next time we re visiting !
Some of the best fresh pasta I ve had anywhere.
Food was amazing! We ordered mushroom ravioli and it was cooked to perfection and just the right portion size! Our server Rebecca was so pleasant and welcoming! Will definitely come back next time we visit New Brunswick!
Delicious
Always great to visit MOCO!
Best pasta Ive eaten in a restaurant in a very long time. Service was impeccable. Food
Such a different atmosphere when you get inside, very friendly staff, especially Sam. Was very professional & knowledgeable individual to help us choose meals to our liking. Have had dinner twice upstairs and each time was impeccably well. The mushroom ravioli was delicious, the shrimp app & the tasty peanut butter cheesecake. Will forever be a customer. Wheelchair accessibility: Upstairs and a main floor level entry for wheelchair accessibility.
The pasta by itself was well made, tasted good. The sauce was lacking. The meat I had in my dish was tender but the sauce was flavourles. If youre from a bigger city and have authentic Italian restaurants, I dont recommend this place. Being Italian and making my own pasta and sauces this place is not authentic. The pasta dishes we ordered were just ok at best. I like fresh and simple ingredients and this place did not offer me that.
Beautiful. Highly recommended. Best to reserve a table in advance (even on week nights). Yes its that popular!
We ordered the salmon picatta and the scallop risotto. The picatta has great flavor though I wish there was more sauce. The grilled vegetables were a great side for it and the aglio olio was also very well made but I would have liked more olive oil. The risotto was a bit of a disappointment because the rice was overcooked so it was mushy. But the seafood was treated with the respect it deserves. The booth we sat at was a little worn, but overall it was still a great atmosphere and the service was really very good.
Great service and food!
Excellent food, friendly service
Honestly the best Italian restaurant I ve ever been to. Modern design, right downtown, parking close by, and the food is amazing! The ideal date spot. Not really family-oriented but they have spaces to accommodate all kinds. Very accessible in menu- lots of vegan and gluten-free dishes and substitutes available. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options and substitutes, dairy-free options and substitutes, and gluten-free options and substitutes.
The place is nice service was great. But I didnt like the food at all.
My wife and I had a night out and decided to eat at Moco downtown. She had the steak and I had the Italian sausage risotto. I also had a fruity sangria and we were both shared and advertisers. The food was phenomenal. The service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Then came the bill, I paid a $140 with tip for what we ordered. Although I consider this incredibly high, I do believe it was worth it because the food was so delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Tasha gaves us a wonderful service. Pasta are more than good, they are wow.
Restaurant to recommend. Excellent meal. A1 service with a beautiful smile. In short, I will definitely go back Parking: Behind the free Tim Hortons after 5 p.m.
Food was great but over salted
Had Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and it was most excellent!! The Made In Italy Lemoncello drink was also very good!!
The positive. All the staff was amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The garlic parm bites I would come back for again and again The negative. The chicken alfredo. The pasta itself was good and cooked well. The alfredo sauce was like milk. Reminded me of the alfredo at East side Marios. So I definitely wouldnt get that again. The tiramisu. It was wet. Like the liquor was seeping out of the bottom. Raw liquor at that. So it made the ladyfingers/cake soggy and just an unpleasant texture. And the whipped cream didnt have any flavour.
Hostess was not welcoming at all. Not rude by any means but a bit of a robot. Ok come with me. Here is your table. There was no .... Hello welcome to Moco how may I help you. Atmosphere is ok paint is literally falling off the walls and the cubicle dividers. Our waitress was quite good. Her service was spot on friendly and welcoming. The food served was very good we had 6 dishes. But one I felt was just bad. Appies were great! Wifes ravioli was perfect. The Gnocchi Gorganzola, the bad one. Gnocchi was overly soft and tasted like a can of expensive mushroom soup and bacon, without a hint of Gorganzola. Disappointing to say the least. We spent 165 on the meal and around 180 with the tip.
I was happy to find a restaurant that has options to the common deep fried fish and chips in the Atlantic provinces. Service was great, food excellent, all over I spent a lovely evening.
Best place for pasta in Fredericton. Very friendly staff and quick service!
Lets go!! best restaurant I have been to in NB
Im obsessed with the food here!
First time in. Had the Gnocchi absolutely amazing. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo and she loved it. The carrot cake by far the best one I have ever had. We will most certainly be going back. Great service and awesome atmosphere
Very good food. A nice dining experience. Attentive waiters. Lamb shank was very good.
Decided to go here for my birthday with a couple friends. Had the calamari as an appetizer, it was light enough where you could eat them by itself while having extra room for a main dish. They were lightly breaded and crispy and not oily at all, like some places are. One of the best restaurants for calamari around town. The Sambuca Scampi was amazing, the sauce delightful, thick yet creamy at the same time. I d honestly eat that as a meal on its own. For my main I tried the Gnocci Gorgonzola with grilled chicken breast. Personally, I d say it has an acquired taste as it was my first time. It was good but for a meal, it wouldn t be my first preference.
Very disappointed with this restaurant since how much google recommended it. Food was overpriced and decent but the portion size was atrocious 20$ for 3 bacon wrapped scallops when we live in a place that scallops is not hard to get was very disappointed would not go again.
Cold lasagna and warm beer. Wilted greens for the salad.
DINE AROUND FREDDY 2022 !!! Great menu this year. Quality food, MOCO never disappoints. Our server Danielle was awesome, her attentiveness just added to an overall wonderful dining experience.
I visited Moco last night with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the Dine Around Freddy menu! We got opposite choices so we could try everything, and we loved it all! I especially loved the prociutto wrapped chicken, and the slot cheesecake. So yummy
Delightful. Great service. Also good for a group
Great food, great beer and friendly staff
We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The food was amazing and delicious and the portions were perfect. The service was really good as well especially with how busy it was. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out.
Excellent my only bad point is that i feel like there bread could be a bit more fresh, it felt a bit old... a mix between dry and chewy. Get fresh bread and it be perfect...
The service was great. A touch of Italy.
Moco is awesome. From the staff, to the atmosphere, to the food -- myself and the other three I dined with all ordered different mains and were all five stars satisfied. :)
Spoke with Sarah about a gift certificate for my moms birthday Wow....after speaking with her, I also wanted her to be the server when my mom decides to book a reservation. Will ask for Sarah on my next call or even visit
My server, Sarah, was absolutely fabulous. My dinner was exquisite..The Garlic Parm Bites were to die for as they melt in your mouth. The Beet Salad was just the perfect combination of sweet and savoury due to the goat cheese and citrus. My dinner entree of vegetarian Gnocchi Gorgonzola was rich and decadent. The best part was a drink that Sarah created and named called Can You Feel the Cran Tonight? that contained a splash of cranberry juice with Gin and some rosemary. How refreshing! Check out this place our if you feel like Italian. The ambiance of this place is great for celebrations, dates, and/or families. I am so glad for the discovery! My server and the food were so wonderful that I went back the next day. Pictures included!
Wonderful all around. Sicilian calamari, mushroom ravioli, beef pepperdelle, carrot cake, and a few drinks. Great tastes, ambiance, and good service.
favorite resto in Fredericton. The food is rad and the service is SUPERB. Thanks for the great experiences!
I ordered Sicilian calamari to start and beef tenderloin medium while I actaully wanted rare. Their side dish menu is very limited. I cannot have dairy so I mentioned to the server that I wanted the parm mash potatoe but Ill get fries because I cant have cheese. Other side orders seem to have cheese. This place looks like a niche fine dining place but it has family owned diner or a pub vibe with inexperienced servers. Before I get to the main course I wanna mention the calamari. The calamari was very salty and soggy but it wasnt horrible so I ate it. The server completely forgot about my mother in laws appetizers order and they brought the bread with olive about 20 minutes after they served us appetizers. Later came the server saying they dont have the wine we ordered so got a different bottle of wine. Anyway, we eventually received the food but they mixed up my beef tenderloin with my father in laws well done tenderloin. Luckily we were able switch the meet and the beef was actually cooked the way I really wanted, rare. It is crazy tho to bring a rare beef tenderloin to a person who ordered it medium well. My fries had parmesan grated on top even though I specifically mentioned that I cant have cheese. I did eat it all and it was delicious but i really shouldnt have. Then for dessert, as a dairy free person my only option was sorbet but they were out of sorbet so I wasnt able to have desert. In summary, Im not impressed. Just happy Im not poisoned at this point but wait, the fries came with parmesan grated on top so...
I wish I could take this food back to Montreal it was SO GOOD! The Garlic Parm Cheese Bites and the Arancini were our apps and wow, they were so flavourful. My meal of choice was the Braised Beef Pappardelle and I really enjoyed this dish! The beef was moist and the pasta was just the right texture.
Nice restaurant with very good Italian fare. Fish dish (I had bass) was done well. Good sized portions as well. Service was friendly, and seating comfortable. Dont forget their desserts!
Decent food and great service.
The best Italian food restaurant! Everything is perfect.
Give Vanessa a raise her service is impeccable!!!
Very good dinner and friendliness of the staff
We made a reservation through the website. When we arrived everything was ready on our table including the menus and water. Our server Em was very friendly, efficient and an excellent waitress. The food was absolutely delicious and we will be back in the near future!
We ordered the calamari, arancini and pappardelle. The pasta was a standout here.m - its fresh and made in-house. Our server, Keshia, was very friendly and attentive - great service!
Amazing food and friendly staff. The chicken parm was delicious
Very tasty pasta, very busy and just note that due to small size it is quite loud, so not a quiet date spot, but great to have a nice dinner with friends.
Really delicious! Excellent service! Thanks.
The homemade pasta was amazing!
Service was great..calamari was fine my salad ( for 16.00) was disappointing..I guess I expected more flavor..my husband had the beef pappade ( I think that is how it is spelt) was pretty bland. Best thing was the service. But prices are high for what you get.
If I could get this restaurant six stars I would. Danielle, our server, Wise outstanding. She had enthusiasm and a great knowledge of the menu and he guided us in our choices. We shared everything with no room for dessert! The calamari as a starter was fabulous, we had A very delicate beet salad, and then the most outstanding menu item was the chef special, a pasta with duck and a cream sauce. Unbelievable! I wish we lived closer to this restaurant, as opposed to having driven eight hours here from Boston! We will recommend this to friends and hope that this review helps others select MOCO. The atmosphere is beautiful with a very upbeat buzz.
We had shrimp scampi and linguine pescatore. They were marvelous!! Very fresh seafood ingredients! You can taste the sweetness of the seafood and the freshness of the spaghetti. Their sauce is also excellent. Very warm service. Strongly recommend to have your dinner here!
We were in from out of province visiting friends and this restaurant was recommended to us. First off I am happy to say the service was phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently even on a Friday night at a peak time. Her name was Ashley. Ashley was able to answer any questions we had and was very friendly. The bad part of the night was 0 salt or much flavour in any of the food we had. We paid almost $30 for a charcuterie board that had what we figured was a pre bought/pre cooked ham, store packed spicy soppressata, a couple pieces of cheese and flavourless pâté. If you want a place for great service I highly recommend. Food was meh at best.
Good food and service. My only complaint being the serving of the risotto was too generous. Half the amount of rice would be suffice, and the sugar on the creme Brule was too thick.
Loved this restaurant atmosphere food and staff are fantastic!
Horrible experience, rude waitress and the Worst Italian food we ever had !
Best Italian restaurant in Fredericton. Very please with my time here
Where do I start?? It was terrible. Party of four. Two of us had Chicken Parmesan which was unlike any chicken parm we have ever had before. It came with deep fried chicken (almost blackened and tough) a tiny bit of cheese on top accompanied with soggy pasta and a highly acidic tomato sauce. My wife had Linguini Pescatore which had not even an ounce of seafood (shrimps and scallops were extremely tiny) and for an absolutely exorbitant price. The third dish was Mushroom Ravioli and was passable only. I lived in Fredericton for 32 years and this was the worst meal I ever had. In all fairness the waitress did an excellent job and was very friendly.
Without reservation and they still found a little corner for the 2 of us. Very warm welcome, service with a beautiful smile. Excellent food...to return
Dietary restrictions: Quite a few of the recipies could be made gluten free Food
Definitely a place for a special dinner. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing experience! Delicious food and great atmosphere. Our servers name was Keisha, and she went above and beyond for us! Absolutely amazing and would recommend to everyone!
I knew MOCO was going to be excellent the first time I visited, some months ago. I didnt realize it would be so good, I couldnt stop thinking about it! My spouse ordered the chicken parm and it was so good, she refused to share any more after my first bite! I wasnt even mad, but I made sure to order my own on our second visit. The servers are friendly without being overbearing. When a party of 16 showed up, they worked our order in quickly so we wouldnt have to wait. Make MOCO a regular stop if youre even close to Fredericton and youll always be satisfied!
The staff are amazing and the food is delicious!!! Definitely will be back for more!!!
Exquisite dining experience. Top notch service and meal. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Will visit again.
Great service and most of what we had was very well executed, the rice in the arancini was over cooked which was the only draw back.
Great service and the meal was excellent. Have never been disappointed at this top notch dining establishment. Highly recommend.
Amazing place with delicious food and awesome customer service
