66 Regent St, Fredericton, NB E3B 1C3, Canada
Chill tavern offering comfort fare such as shepherd’s pie & ribs, with a full bar & a rooftop patio.
We were in the private room for a work Christmas dinner and loved it! Service was great, quick and attentive. Food was hot, flavourful, absolutely delicious. The music was banging haha. All around a good time!
Bartender was great. I ordered the Dinner in Thailand to go, reaaalllly looking forward to the vermicelli noddles cause I’m a picky adult 😅 but instead, when I got back, I had thick, linguine noodles. It just would’ve been nice to be notified cause then I would’ve picked something else.
The food and beef were very good. Definitely will be beck when I visit again.
A classic pub in the downtown Fredericton area. I have been to the Snooty many times in my day and the food and the staff never disappoint. Always taste and affordable, plus the staff always makes sure you glass and your stomache are full. Highly recommend!
We had nachos , fish tacos, dinner in Thailand and cheesecake. My personal favourite are fish tacos and sweet potato fries. Previously we had spinach dip that was also delicious. One of the good restaurants in Fredericton
Every trip home to Canada I make sure to pop in for a lunch in one of the Regent Street Window boothes. The food is consistently tasty, fresh, and the menu has choices for every taste. There are many many beer options and the Burgers, yum! The staff are always attentive and friendly. It's a downtown must for some good eats.
The server was super friendly but also super busy and swamped. The dude who brought our food on the hand was super chill and relaxed, kinda like a bill and Ted vibes. The place was busy and clearly a local fave, but despite the busy wasn't annoying in terms of volume. The food was a bit slow, but they were busy so it was to be expected. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich friends chose Sheppard pie and Ceasars wrap. Food was standard, nothing particular wow, but consistency is nice and I get the feeling that's what they do best. The coleslaw was a bit funky though, tasted like it's been sitting without lid for days and tasted Iike the inside if a fridge. But aside from that pleasant and nice will definitely come back
A classic British style pub. Excellent choice of beers. Friendly service. A good pub menu. Our bar server was excellent, really helpful. This is a great spot within downtown. We had the veg stir fry, tons of freshly cooked veg in a spicy sauce. Other people around us seemed to be enjoying the fries which looked great. Wine was competitively priced at around $10 for a 9oz glass (that's nice to see)
This place is amazing every time we go. In the summer we love the patio! the staff are friendly. Food is so good. Definitely recommend.
One of my favourite restaurants in Fredricton
Got take out from here today. Yummy! The fire daddy burger was just what I needed and the staff were friendly and polite
Great customer service, wide selection of tap beers, food was tasty and even though it was busy the food came reasonably quickly.
Good grub & beer. I always enjoy my visits here. Friendly service. Lamb Stew is great and the ribs are awesome.
Wings gave me diarrhea service was good bad music though
The service was great. The amount of food was good. Prices were reasonable.
There were three in our party last night The business was not busy so service should have been good, however it was not. Could have been our senior age maybe. Gentlemen who took our drink order was very much in a hurry. No smiles thank yous or nothing. The girl who served our food basically tossed it on table and walked away giving us no chance to ask a question. The guy came back asked if we were having more drinks we said no and handed the bill, still no greeting or thank you. Dont think he liked our comment about cheesecake. First and last time for us with no recommendations. Sorry
The pierogi always manage to find me
My old watering hole in my 20s. I dont get there asich as I used to but it still holds up. Good food, great service, excellent crowd.
The food here is incredible. The Steak and Ale Pie is awesome! But Ill also recommend the Maple Curry Chicken Salad! Highly recommended!
The Windsor nachos are the best in town! The sprinkling of spice on the chips is a nice blast of flavour. Delicious
Decent pub food. Pretty standard. Servers are efficient and friendly.
As per every visit, our food was delicious. Served hot and in a timely manner. Phil was amazing, he had made sure our drinks were always fresh and topped up. 100% recommend this place it is one of our top spots when in town.
Phil and Bear paw are the best...we go every Tuesday for wing night after tennis.
Food is not bad.
A little expensive but good service and great food...oh and liquor
1st time here in yrs! back in town for a visit and had to check it out. Appies and a couple of cool beverages to start off the night. Harvest weekend!
The food was absolutely amazing, the serving sizes were huge, got the 29.00$ platter there was enough food on the platter for two people and if you are small eaters 3 people could share it.
Best nachos around, but the restaurant layout is a bit awkward
Was last here in 2002 ( 22 years ago). Still great food and atmosphere, and happy to see the place is still around.
Deafeningly loud, expensive overall, decent drinks, ok food. The roof-top patio is decent. Again really loud and expensive though with Two drinks and a small appetizer breaking close to 45 bucks. Kid-friendliness: Not for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Not suited for wheelchairs.
Food and service was excellent. Regular pub fair with a few extras. Service is quick and very friendly. I went with 11 other people and had a great time.
I had wings, house salad and carrot cake. It was all very good. The front of the pub had a cozy private Irish pub style booths, the back where we were seated was plain with open concept. I would suggest requesting a spot in the front. Food
This was my second time at the Snooty Fox and once again it was delicious. I had the Chicken Nachos. Delicious One of the best meals I have ever eaten and plentiful. Food
Snooty fox is your typical Irish pub that youre looking for if youre in the Fredericton area with friends or family and are looking for a great lively atmosphere. But whether youre alone, with family or friends, it doesnt really matter because you NEED to stop by to have their wings. I recommend the sweet and spicy with a great beer on tap.
We were looking for a quick bite downtown, after the prime dinner hour. Music was very loud everywhere. Great selection of local beers. Service was prompt. Food was really overpriced for the quality and quantity - Im sure we arrived close to the end of service, but $15 before tax and tip for a small dry burger on a dry bun with a bit of lettuce and a couple of sad tomato slices doesnt make me want to go back. Note: Im rounding up to 3 stars for food as I know the kitchen was about to close.
More pub than restaurant, very good food.
Im taking away one star for the lack of cleanliness of the place. The bathroom floors are literally sticky.
Decent pub, patio yet limited occupancy. Half price appetizers starting at 5pm every Wednesday. Vegetarian options: Veggie nachos, etc.
Fish and chips and club sandwich, all good and quick service
Open late every night (the only place that is downtown) with a good atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
Rustic interior makes the place feel truly like a pub. Good food and great service for the most part. Bathrooms are clean and they have plenty on the menu to choose from.
Food is definitely good but pricy. $16 for 5 mozzarella sticks, good as they are, is criminal. It was very busy. Floors were dirty. It does have a cool late night university crowd vibe.
Cheap drinks !!
2 beer and wings = 40 + tip
Decent food, give it a try
Excellent service and food.
We were a party of 13. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Also ... best wings ever!
As always, the food was very good! Our server today seemed very unsure about everything he did, though, and sometimes went a long time without coming to check on us. I do find a lot of the place seems like a botched reno job vibe in some places. They put these wall lights right above the seats where I was to sat, and I needed to lean forward or would smash back of head on them, bathroom just had holes in the walls and urine all over the place. Parking: Depending on the time of day, it can be very hard to find parking, needed to pay for parking garage near by.
Good food, our waiter was friendly and polite the tables where a tad cramped but it was still a good experience
Delicious wing, great place for date night with my hubby.
Patio area is nice, food is pretty solid and the beer selection is good. Nice spot.
Parking: Parking is hard to find, none immediately in front of the restaurant. Food
Very good burgers
Excellent service
Great staff are wonderful with my little guy. He loves hanging out with them and giving them high fives. The food is quite nice and a good mix of easy eats. It is a little dark in the restaurant at times, but the roof top patio is great. The entrance is a little hard to navigate at times and I sometimes miss it from the street even though Ive been there so many times! Overall a lovely place. Go in have a beer and watch a game you wont be disappointed. It is also reasonably priced :)
I ordered the spinach dip I have forgot that I didn t Want artichokes in my spinach dip? I asked the waitress if I could just have spinach dip she yes so I then ordered the chicken wings and rib.combo And asked for a takeout order of cheeseburger bombs waited while for a meal because it was a big table and I understood that everybody food started coming out. I kept waiting for my spinach dip to come never came. My meal came and I asked about my spinach dip and they told me they didn t put it in but could put it on, I said no that s okay my food had sat on the tray line so long that it was cold ..the waitress took it back to the kitchen where they put it in a Microwave heated it up and sent it back out to me my bill was $48 for cold food Then microwave food I could ve done this at home for less. I will never go back there again
Looking for the best pub food in Fredericton? Look no further. Snooty Fox has got you covered. Their portions are generous and tasty. Customer service is also top notch. Give them a try if you havent before. Food : 5/5
During my visit, the place was packed but as soon as I asked for a menu a waiter found us a booth. Its a bit of a small place divided by all the booths. We started with some drink as they have a pretty good selection of IPAs. I ordered the Snooty Combo #2 which is basically a sample platter. There were cheese sticks, curly fries, cactus fries, a few other things and various sauces to accompany everything. The food arrived fast. It was hot and good after spending an evening at a concert with much alcohol consumed. We washed everything down with another round of drinks and then asked for the bill. Dont expect to eat hear for under $25/person, however the portions were big enough that we all went back to the hotel with some leftovers. I finished the beer and fries and brought the rest to my room for a late night snack. I look forward to my next visit.
I come here all the time and the food never disappoints. I have made sure to try various options on the menu and every time I get a big plate of tasty and well prepared food. The servers are pretty uninterested and seem to be kinda bored but the food more than makes up for it. My biggest complaint about this spot is that the booths are not comfortable at all. They need to add some padding in there, cause it seriously sucks to be seated there. Good overall though, go check this place out.
Great pub. Great menu. Service was good.
The cocktails are very good and well priced and the cakes delicious! The staff is smiling, very helpful and fast.
Great food and great portion sizes.
Had poutine there. Fries were delicious, gravy was more like can gravy. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back. My crew that was there all ordered different items and it all looked awesome.
Food was excellent, service matched the restaurant name.
Outstanding Buffalo burger
Best carrot cake ever!
Great experience! We came to the Snooty Fox, ironically after being turned away from another restaurant downtown that could not accommodate us with a quarter-full dining room Very friendly staff and attentive service! One of the largest selections of tap beers in downtown Fredericton, and a great food menu. Definitely worth a visit.
We went there with a group of 15 people, they gave us a separate space and ambiance was nice. Service was good, and they were able to bring food for everyone in 30mins even though it was such a big group. I am a vegetarian, which is confusing here for people because I am like a vegan but I eat dairy products just no meat. So its hard to order in the limited options I have. I ordered Asian cashew noodles which was really good, I ordered curly fries on side which were crispy and tasted good.
Fire daddy burger rocks!
We loved the snooty fox. We traveled up to NB for the eclipse and stopped in and wish we were there longer to try more of their delicious food. The BBQ chicken nachos were to die for.
Always love going to the snooty. Great good and great atmosphere and reasonable prices
Delicious menu items, lots to choose from. Waiters check on tables too often.
Food was delicious, and on the table very quickly. A little pricey but it was so worth it.
Always amazing.
Grease soaked batter on the fish, mediocre fries and stingy on the sugar and milk for your coffee, otherwise good.
Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies sandwich is really good. Food
Good food. General pub fare
Pretty good
Large portions and wing night is always a must
One of my favorite places downtown Freddy
Went to the Snooty Fox after a UNB hockey game. Food was delicious and came out super quick especially considering how busy they were. More than anything what stood out the most was our service. We were a larger table and our server Leah provided some of the best restaurant service I ve ever had in my life. She was attentive but never hovered, upbeat, friendly, quick and SO KIND!! We all agreed we would specifically come back if we knew Leah would be taking care of us! We will definitely be back again.
Best pub food around! The food is amazing, the drinks are good. Only issues is how packed it can get, because it is the go-to place. Dietary restrictions: They were awesome with handling my dietary issues and didn t shame me at all.
Windsor nachos A++
Excellent food, drinks, service, prices, and atmosphere.
Service was terrible. Guy kept walking past us. Waited 15 minutes for bread. Kept taking stuff off our table without asking. Constantly had to flag him down. Didnt talk much at all. Talked to other tables. My friends beer was flat no foam and warm. Waited 20 + minutes for drinks. Wasnt too busy but waiter kept walking past us. Almost annoyed when we stopped him. I understand he was busy but his additude was a mood damper.
Omg the food was to die for. Cant pick a fav....service was great everyone was super friendly highly recommend
Super awesome server.
On weekends, there are quite a lot of people worth booking a table, I tasted the award-winning side dish, it was really delicious, crumbly, tasty, just what I thought it would be.
My server was amazing
Good restaurant with great and friendly staff. The food was delicious , especially the Fire daddy burger , steak and goat cheese salad and the carrot cake was to die for. Thank you for the amazing Friday dinner with friends.
The quality of the food is excellent and its prepared perfectly but the flavour combinations are odd.
Love the Fox. Every time Im passing through Fredericton I make sure to stop in.
One of the few spots town in that are usually open till late at night. We love their Fire Daddy burger
Great food and atmosphere
Great old stand by if you can get in..Call ahead..
I was very impressed with the service I got. They made me feel valued as a customer from the moment I stepped in. Customer service-10/10, food-10/10, price-10/10. 100% recommend this restaurant.
Been here a few times and have never been disappointed
Nice place, delicious breakfasts Enjoy Mothers Day there
Delicious food.
The best Chicken Caesar wrap Ive ever had!!
Great as always
Great staff, food and drinks. Everything you want out of a local pub.
Absolutely amazing wings. Any wing lover should go here.
Good food, great staff.
A great little local pub that I recommend to anyone in the area! Snooty has delicious food, and tons of options on tap from local breweries. My favorite was the For Fox Sake cider from Red Rover. They have plenty of seating inside as well as on the rooftop when weather permits, however it can fill up pretty quickly some nights so you may want to call ahead to book a reservation if youre worried about waiting. Best app hands-down would be their artichoke spinach dip. Its served with chips and warm naan bread slices - and I promise it will disappear from your table FAST! Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options, including apps and mains. Parking: You may find it a bit tough to find parking at some times of the day, and there are parking meters that require a fee.
Our server was spot on. She knew the menu and didnt hover. She was quick, polite but also funny. The outside deck upstairs was interesting! I had no idea that was there.
Wonderful culinary experience
Parking: No parking by restaurant. Have to find paid parking spot on streets nearby or parking garage a couple of blocks away. Food
Usually quite busy. They just need a few more staff to help during times when there are a lot of people. The service is great when there js someone around. Servers are always awesome. Good food and a good drink menu. Food
Garbage food. Waitress dissapeared and had another server deliver our bill. What a joke
Food and service were fantastic. We had the nachos as a starter and that practicley filled us up. Have had a few different nachos around nova scotia, p.e.i and new brunswick the last week and so far, these were the best. Vegetarian options: Was able to get the maple curry chicken salad without chicken, was amazing.
a traditional pub and a staple of dining in fredericton.
tried the bbq chicken nachos, they were good. I tried a mangorita, it was good but just good, not a wow drink. It tasted like a margerita, could hardly taste the mango. Service was great. The atmosphere was great until a group was seated near us and were really loud and annoying. We left after the nachos because of it.
The nachos though
Great service. Interesting choice of flavours on our chicken wings .. we had curry ... Very tasty ! Recommended dishes Chicken Wings
Huge portions of pulled pork nachos.
Service was good. Portions were good for the price. The Thai plate was delicious.
Great food and chilled atmosphere
Great rooftop terrasse, ambiance and service always great. Our must-stop place on our way to Nova Scotia. Vegetarian options: Salads and a veggie Burger that looked tasty.
Food is amazing but patio smell garbage.
I absolutely adore this bar! While the beers can be a bit pricey at $7.61 per pint, it s definitely worth it for the Red Rover Pina Colada Cider. Trust me, everyone must try it! I visited this place twice in just three days, and I can t get enough of the cozy atmosphere and friendly servers. The nachos were also a delightful treat huge and incredibly cheesy! My next visit is already planned, and I m eagerly looking forward to savoring that delightful Pina Colada Cider again. Highly recommended!
Great food and awsome service.
Great food and wonderful staff. Quick and reasonable.
Really great place for drinks and pub food. Parking: Parking lot is free and available in the evening. There are three to four spots available right opposite to restaurant. But we can find some on the queen street. But free parking is only available in the evening as the restaurant is in downtown
Nice restaurant/bar with an upstairs patio serves both food and drinks.
Very quick service, good food, good drinks! They have a rooftop patio which is very nice, would recommend!
I went there 2 nights. Lots of options on the menu, all tasted great. I had the pesto salmon and it was to die for. My friends ordered many other things and all tasted great.
great staff .busy as usual
Got spinach artichoke nachos, absolutely delicious. I recommend!! Great huge portion
nice
Wing night is great with friends!
Stopped in for dinner while dropping the kid off at university. Was very busy. But still got great service and awesome food. Will definitely be going back next time Im in town
Good late night bar option in the downtown, good selection of food and drinks
The BBQ chicken nachos were so foking delicious 110% would recommend!!!!!
Probably the most popular restaurant in the city. Lots on the menu to choose from, plenty of space to sit and chat with friends you havent seen in a long time. I would suggest a more matured palate before eating here though, not recommended for children (especially with the alcohol.) Kid-friendliness: Tons of alcohol and sports bar loudness. Dont bring your children. Barely any food will appeal to them anyway.
Loved my special poutine I had at the Snooty Fox (what a great name) on my recent visit to the Maritimes. Food was excellent and service even better!
Great waiter! Delicious pickles, salads macaroni and smash burger...next time for dessert
Tried wings quite a few times there. But same sauce tastes different every time you go there. Lacking consistency in taste.
Awesome service and awesome food as always!!
Always great food and cold beer
Honestly some of the best food weve ever had. The cheeseburger bites were amazing, hamburger was fantastic, buffalo chicken sandwich delicious.. wish we had one of these gems in Ottawa.
Good food and great service. I highly recommend it. Food
Busy pub, I had fish and chips and it was ok but not excellent
Great place, good choice of beers and very interesting food.
My favorite down to earth food in town
I was in on a Tuesday night and it was super busy. Definitely a friendly pub vibe ! I didnt eat but had a beer.
Ordered Skip from them, and this has honestly been the first time that Ive eaten here in the 6 years Ive lived in the city. Their snooty fox combo platter was AMAZING, and my husband is usually very picky with his ribs, and these he LOVED! Not only was our meal amazing but the carrot cake. Ive never had a carrot cake like this. It was moist, and sweet. We loved every bite. Will definitely be ordering again.
Great late night spot. Had a few pitchers of local beer and was nice to try something new. Excellent service and prices are very reasonable.
Great burger! Staff was awesome. Loved all of it.
Always amazing with a variety of great options
We were a group of 4. Each of us loved our order, great tasting, well cooked, and good portion sizes. Butter chicken and rice was one of the best I have had. Everyone was impressed with the fries. Prices were decent. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about menu, only downside is didnt check on table for refills but restaurant was fairly busy. Interesting atmosphere not what we were expecting from outside. We will be back and this is definitely on our recommend to friends list.
Always a great experience here. If you need a pub experience and food, cant go wrong.
Our staff Xmas party was here. We were a party of 7, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy, accommodations were made for food allergies. We were all served within seconds for our main course. The food was great, the drinks were cold!! Staff were friendly and engaging. Definitely will recommend to others
This was back on the 27th of October when I was visiting here from the US in CT,EDT service was great nice staff along with other people there everyone was having a nice time, food was great but I wasn t used to the tangi chicken sauce but it was still pretty good. Meet some random guy in the bathroom pretty nice we had a conversation about him moving from Ontario and how he likes up here more and about me ranting about how big the eastern time zone lol and how I m glad New Brunswick is part of the Atlantic time zone laugh out loud. I ll be back here in the future for sure.
Great drinks and food, especially recommend the Duke Rolls!
Loved the pub, nice music, varied menu options, very tasty salads. You need to wait a little bit when crowded, but its worth the wait. Love the bar. The music, the variety of the menu, and the delicious salads. You have to wait to be served when its full, but its well worth it.
Great waiter. Super service. Really enjoyed our meal. Whole experience was terrific.
