Nice atmosphere, okay prices, okay food but close too early. Updated from last visit. Hostess walked us to our seat. We waited a period of time that you would expect to have your drinks in hand and order placed. Nobody showed up to our table to see if we even wanted drinks. There were no other customers in sight, so there was no excuse of being busy.

Everything in there was awesome! The food is really good, and it looks very nice on the inside. Only minor complaint is the wait time for the food, but overall really good!

I found this place expensive for what you get.The waitress not very friendly will never go back

Had my motorcycle club Wednesday Night Wings night here. Excellent wings (half price) and a great waiter. Had not been in there for a long time.

Our server, Albert, was amazing! The crocodile skins were a different story. They were extremely over seasoned. There was a heavy layer of seasoning salt on them. So much that it hurt my mouth. Also, they have gotten rid of the deep-fried ice cream . That was the reason we chose Jungle Jims.

The food has really gone downhill. There was barely any filling in my quesadilla. And it sat getting cold while I waited to see a waiter to ask for cutlery and napkin. I had to go to the bar to ask for my bill and to pay because the waitress never came back. We sat next to the disgusting fish tank which is far too small for those huge fish in the very murky water and the green algae. This is definity cruelty and it should not be there especially in a restaurant. I will be doing something further about this situation.

Jungle Jim s is one of our favourite places to dine. They have the BEST chicken wings of anywhere, the staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful and we love the atmosphere. Great place for kids too with all the fish and they provide crayons and an activity sheet. Would definitely recommend!

Its been a while since weve eaten here. My boys came home for Christmas and Jungle Jims was a favorite place to eat. Tacquitos are their favorites. Theres the option of baked now..I suppose a healthy option. But I always say why fix whats not broken lol. Burger was tasty as always. Husband had fish n chips, batter was crispy, but the fish and batter had no flavour at all. The fish seemed soggy as well...not an experience I was expecting. Hopefully, that was just one-off. Service was excellent as always, prompt and friendly.

First of all, I would like to state that Jungle Jims does basic false advertising on their menus regarding their kid menus (simple fix, remove one image from their menu and solved). Second of all, their wait staff is honestly one of the worst Ive had to deal with in the city, especially comparing it to the majority of the restaurants Ive been too. Being rude, ignorant to customers (laughing at someone eating disorder, then stating I wasnt laughing at that, regardless of what one would be laughing at in the situation you would think a manger would know better in that situation). This wasnt the first issue Ive had at this location, but now I know not to return. Honestly I recommend avoiding this location until their staff gets better trained.

Our waitress was very very nice. Friendly SERVICE. The food was another story. My friend and I both home allergies. The kitchen was made aware of, carelessness sent my friend into a full blown allergy attack. She became very ill very fast. Kitchen staff needs to be more conscience of their food preparation for allergy customers.

The food was great but the service wasnt. Thankfully half my order was finger foods, my other half waited for silverware for way too long to eat her meal.

We tried to book for 25 people and they told us no and then said if we went they were unsure if they could accommodate us, the man was very unfriendly, horrible customer service Dietary restrictions: We called to book

Two beer, two meals 1 app. 70+ dollars. 2/3s of the way into my fries I pulled a huge hair out of my mouth wrecked my appetite and couldn t finish my meal. Kept quiet so I wouldn t t gross out anyone else.

Maybe the food is good, wouldn t know because 3 times we ve been there now, we waited over 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. I see that as a refusal of service, so we won t be back.

Man loved the place..greta staff, good food and drinks..wish everyday was wednesday.

Great experience with my family. We shared a sink appetizer, which had lots of the great apps offered here. I had the rib & wing platter which was awesome. Kids loved their burgers. Jon was a great server.

Some of the beat service Ive had. The waiters had a sense of humor, were very kind, and werent afraid to connect with me. Food was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Still great regardless!

I liked the motif of this restaurant, it was fun and interesting, however, the service was pretty lacking... I would have probably ordered more drinks had our waitress come by our table more than 3 times total in the 1.5hrs we were there. I had the chicken wings and they were pretty good, cooked nicely and enjoyable. I saw our waitress serving larger tables several times before she would come back to see us at all and our table did not feel as if our patronage was all too important since we were only 3. The score would have been lower had the food not been as good as it was so compliments to the chef.

Well, let me begin by saying they had a chance to have a large group come in after a provincal tournament which they turned away, first reason was they wouldnt be able to seat everyone together (which was perfectly fine) but then after they learned that was fine with the group they then said they didnt have enough staff to serve us. so thats right. Pretty sad an establishment refuses a Group of people away when there was absolutely no customers. BUT! Thanks for the amazing staff at St. Louis Bar & Grill for taking us in for a lovely meal & accommodations! Its better service & food at St.Louis ! Thanks for absolutely nothing Jungle Jims!

No idea how the food was, wasnt even offered a menu. Bad enough it took 15 mins just to get a beer. And had to stop a passing waitress to get it. I could see if i was tucked away in a corner. But my friend and i were right at the bar.

Aug 8th, approx 1pm: Waited more than 15 mins for pick up order, when I went to the back near the counter with the drink fridge to see if they had forgotten about me, I was shocked to have the server yell it s almost done then I heard from the back the employees yelling why is she standing there we will bring it out when it s done . Also note: they had personal water bottles and cell phones on the food preparation surface, which is a risk of food contamination!!!! Terrible service, terrible cleanliness!!!! When the order was handed to me I said thank you but received no have a good day or not even a you re welcome . So disappointed.

Great family restaurant. Good specials. Good simple drinks. No fuss.

Had a great meal. Ask for Elizabeth if you can. She was a delight and made the night out with family even more enjoyable. Everyone loved the food, and the kids liked looking for the different animals around the restaurant.

Its not what it used to be

As jungle jims is a favorite of my girlfriend and I, this location today did disappoint for the first time being there, When we ordered there was a table of four people two tables away from us that ordered there food about 20 mins after we did, however the table for four received all there food about 15 mins before us. I always order bake bbq chicken taquitos every time I go to a jungle jims but these ones had very little chicken and were barely bake and just didnt taste the best. My main course was pulled pork tacos and fries, I asked for no tomatoes on them and when the food came out they were loaded with tomatoes, which I had to send back well the other food sat on the table, once my food returned there was moree sauce the meat on them which didnt make the tacos very good. Restaurant wasnt that busy so alittle ridiculous for that many mistakes.

Service was some of the best I ve had in years! Food was great as well and priced good. The one thing I hated was the poor fish in the tanks . They are way to big and need to be relocated it was sad. I really hope something is done about it.

Super overpriced food. The $15 spinach dip was like 3 tbsp of dip and store-bought tortilla chips, even though the menu says hand cut chips. The kitchen sink platter was surprisingly small, especially for $36. Considering most of it is frozen food thats just thrown in a deep fryer, I cant wrap my head around how expensive it is. The inferno burger was also slightly off, and made my partner feel sick. Just a bad place all around. (Also the giant fish in the too-small, very dirty fish tank are depressing to look at. Inhumane.)

It was my first time there, and it was a great experience with good food. I was there for Thursday steak night, and although the steak wasnt cooked enough for my liking, Im sure a person who likes a rare steak would enjoy thoroughly. The ribs and wings were excellent, as well as the staff and atmosphere.

The food we ordered was incorrect and not fully received. Over priced for the poor quality food. One waitress was really nice, the other seemed like she didnt even want to be there. After messing up our order the same waitress who did not want to be there as a final nail in the coffin asked us if we wanted to to order dessert. We will not be coming to this location again, nor will we order from there again. Very very poor service. If I could review a 0, I would.

Ill preface this by saying the servers were very apologetic for the mix up and were very nice - but we had the complete wrong tables order brought to us first, then they brought my fiances food and I was given the wrong food. They took it back and when they brought back my actual order, it wasnt made how I asked. Meanwhile my fiance has been sat for 25 minutes letting his steak get cold while he waited to eat with me. After the 3rd mess up we told them to cancel it. Both servers were extremely apologetic and I appreciated that. However, there is clearly a communication issue between servers and kitchen that needs improving. I left the restaurant hungry and upset.

Owner reached and helped us out, went back and food and service were both great! Old review: Sat for 20 mins waiting for a table and all the severs ignored us.

I will never eat here again. This restaurant is disgusting. Theres a thick layer of dust on most of the decor that is right above your head while you eat. The fish tank water was green and looked like it was being held together with drywall corners. One of the fish looked sick. The bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned properly in a long time. She said they cleaned every night but it looked like a dirty grimey dive bar bathroom. The stalls and mirror had a layer of grime on them. Im actually going to put in a health and safety complaint because I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. We waited almost an hour for our food after we ordered. Over half of the meals came out overcooked. All the fries were nearly inedible. Some meals were cold. A couple just tasted disgusting. Had we not waited almost an hour, we would have bothered to send everything back. It was a waste of time to ask for over half the meals to be redone. We had children and, despite how good they were being, we didnt want to risk making them wait another hour to get food remade. Two of the 9 meals were actually good, but the nasty ones over shadowed it. The waitress didnt take down some orders correctly and didnt bring things at the right time or didnt bring them at all. We then waited nearly 40 minutes for our bills. When I tried to calmly bring up the issues the wait staff were fairly quick to become defense and rude and questioning why I hadnt tried to send them back. They seemed to want very badly to blame us for disgusting food and terrible service. None of the bills came out correctly when they did come so we had to send them back. When they finally did come back with them another 10 minutes later they were still incorrect so we just figured it out amongst ourselves. When I asked if everyone had gotten their bills, as our whole party wasnt up to pay yet, the waitress snapped at me. I have extreme anxiety and ended up sobbing my entire drive home. I will never set foot in this place again. We absolutely loved this particular restaurant growing up and its quality is extremely lower than it used to be. Its not worth a visit unless you want to be extremely disappointed.

Really wonderful staff and decent prices. Really liked the atmosphere. Had never been before so we ordered a bunch of items for the table to share. Food was a bit of disappointment the chicken on natchs, in tacos, and in the tacitos were cold. The barbecue sauce tasted ok but food was smothered in it, over powering and making food soggy. Would probably try again to see if it was a fluke, but food def needs a bit of improvement.

I ve usually had great service and great food at Jungle Jim s, but this evening was not what I ve come to expect. The Mexi dish was alright, but the taquitos and wings were cold. The kids meals were not to expectations. The kids mac n cheese tasted exactly like the frozen microwave macaroni and cheese with the same sized portion. The kids nuggets was served with a spicy dipping sauce that I felt wasn t appropriate. I think the servers weren t as attentive as usual. They were kind and helpful, but we waited quite a while after we finished eating for the kids to order their desserts and I finally went up to the bar and asked.

Loved the ambiance, ladies that served us provided good service, food was quick and tasty. The drinks are not cocktail worthy, but I have been to a couple of places to eat here and the cocktails are the same, so I wouldn t blame Jim s

Took my daughter and family tonight for her 19th birthday, terrible food and even worse service. Very disappointing hour and half wait for food to have it mostly wrong

1st being here in Freddy. The waitresses did good for the most part with our large group. But still got themselves in a mess for billing. We booked ahead and they had plenty of notice for the # going but they definitely dropped the ball in having enough kitchen staff in to prepare for a large group. Salads didnt taste Cold & Fresh and hot food wasnt that hot.

Worst steak I ever had. They must have seasoned it after it was grilled. The entire edge pure large grain salt granules. My wife did not believe me so she tried it. Lol should have seen her face. My bar drink never came untill half way through meal after I asked for it the second time. Everybody has bad days, I smiled had desert paid the bill and left a tip. I think I will stay with their Mexican menu.

Usually very happy with the fredericton location. Staff are always great. Recently had one of the new burgers, the chicken on it was about 1.5 lbs of hard batter that taste like pollock. Was way too hard, dry, and not very tasty. Id stick to the classics. Taquitos, wings, fries. Thats what theyre good at.

Service was quick, waitress was awesome, food was delicious. I actually felt bad cuz me and my friend got there kind of late like less than an hour before closing, and we were sitting there talking and we completely lost track of time, theyd actually been closed for over 20 minutes before we realize that they were closed. However nobody came over and said that they are closing, which I really appreciated. So I apologize to the staff if we kept you there late but I appreciate the service it was awesome.

We were just in for supper my husband and I and our 1 year old daughter and it was half priced apps so I ordered wings for my app and 2 wings were completely raw I told the girl and she s like thanks for letting me know and when we got our bill no discount at all that s poor service in my opinion. Well we won t be back and I ll make sure to tell people and show the the picture of the bloody raw wings. I can t seem to post the picture here

I don t know why I expected better, but very poor quality food/portions, etc. Personally can t say anything positive about this place in 2021 - I don t really know why you d waste your $ or time here.

Way over priced for the portion served $20 for a inferno burger and lattice fries and left hungry went to burger king across the parking lot after leaving jungle Jims and bought burgers just to get full, I will never go back to jungle Jims again...2 thumbs down

They are always super friendly and the food is really good.

Food was good but quite pricey for the amount we received. Restaurant wasnt busy but took forever for the waitress to take our order, came back once to ask if everything was ok, then we waited and waited and waited for our check. Finally we got up and put our costs on and she came back to ask if we wanted any dessert. We wanted to try some place different but probably wont be going back any time soon. I rated the stars on the taste of the food.

Food was really good, just took a long time to be served. Maybe because it was a late Saturday night. Was only $100 for 5 meals plus drinks so that was awesome.

It was ok, i got the canadian burger and its was pretty good i wish it was less ham like. My family got alfredo chicken fingers and stuff like that. Everything had pretty good flavour and the service was nice and fast and the fries are really good but they should be more crunchy then the fries would be some of the best i ever had

Jungle Jims.... where do I start. What a strange concept. i ate irony for dinner. Waitress was great, chef was great, but the food sucked. I wish there was an option to spit in the fish tanks, that would of made it a 4 star.

Went in on a Tuesday evening my husband and I. Service was exceptionally slow since there was only one waitress working. Food was nice and hot, but very small portions for the price. Ordered a 12oz steak with fries and veggies with the option to add 4 taquitos for $4.99 and a chicken burger with fries and a pepsi.. Bill came to $69.53 Very small size steak and veggies consisted of 3 small peices of broccoli florets. Chicken sandwich tasted like it wqs deep fried in fish batter, not tasty at all

New menu, food was good and service was sane.

Visited for my birthday and was not disappointed! Ordered the Kim burger off their Bongo Burger menu with a side poutine and it was amazing and so filling! Burger was perfectly cooked, poutine had just right amount of curds and gravy. Finished the meal with the caramel apple chimi cheesecake. I left happily filled! Our server, Megan was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return and recommend!

Just visited for my wifes friends birthday meal. We had the privilege of being served by Mallory, she was friendly, attentive to our needs and checking up often to ensure everything was okay! She also was very professional with dealing with my partner who is NOT A PEOPLE PERSON and who was being extremely rude. Thank you Mallory and jungle jims for another enjoyable meal experience!
