Lunar Rogue Pub in Fredericton

What a neat place, and as the server promised,,, the food was exceptional.. yummy Fresh grilled Atlantic Salmon with asparagus and a Caesar Salad

There is no better place East of Toronto for Whisky.... the selection is amazing... check out The Lunar Rogue app online and look at the vast variety available. The food is tasty as well. My favorites are the wings and sticky toffee pudding (when they have it). If you visit Fredericton, come down to the Rogue. You will enjoy it. And you will tell your friends about it. Lastly, they have the occasional Whisky tasting, sampling various libations from specific or a variety of locales.... these tastings are definitely worth checking out. Slainte!!

I have been going to this restaurant for years with no issues but todays service was the worse Ive ever had. It was almost 2 PM. The girl server said I could still order from the breakfast menu. I ordered fish cake with eggs and a side of home fries. She brought the food without potatoes. I asked if I was geting them, and she said she totally forgot about them. She asked if I wanted them deep fried or on pan fried with onions. 15 minutes later, i asked her if my potatoes were coming, she then said that it is passed the breakfast time and they can no longer make them. All this time I was waiting to eat and the rest of my food was getring cold. When my huby and my daughter finished eating, the same disrespectful girl came to ask if I wanted deep fried potatoes to take home. I was not happy at all and I felt she was doing everything on purpose. I hope management can trace who was serving on the terrace between 2:00-3:00 PM on Saturday October 19, and teach her how to treat all customers, or she will ruin that restaurants reputation.

I left a 5 star review here 2 years ago, I am sorry to say things have changed, its now expensive and very cheaply made for what you get, the supposed big nachos were a real disappointment

Don t bother with takeout from here, they ll waste your time and get it wrong, then offer you two cans of coke for the inconvenience. Stick to the whisky.

Placed an order for takeout, was quoted 20 minutes - it ended up being 50. When I got home, turns out the order was wrong. Wasted 70$ and 50 minutes of my time. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Get the app, try some whisky, one you never know or dare to try. Lower the risk when you buy a bottle. good pub food, best Reuben sandwich, good homemade carrots cake. Knowledgeable staff. Good landmark for Fredericton. If you have the chance to talk with the owner. He is a living memory about Scotch whisky

Lovely pub in downtown Fredricton. Nice selection of local beers. Staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy working there. Feel very at home here. Fish and chips are good, nice batter on the fish. Would recommend.

I ve been a loyal customer of Lunar Rouge for 14 years, but after my experience yesterday, I ll never return. Our group of 11 adults and seniors went there for a family gathering. We slightly moved one of the plastic patio tables so we could all fit around them, and the staffs reaction was shockingly rude, disrespectful, and immature. What should have been a minor issue was blown out of proportion, leaving us feeling so unwelcome that we left the place immediately. It s disappointing to see the decline in their customer service. Their staff could really benefit from some training in how to treat long-standing customers. Unfortunately, they ve permanently lost my business and that of my family and friends for good.

Always a great time when I visit here, I enjoy the food a lot. Mind you things are a bit higher on the price side for the amount you get but dont let that stop you.

Let me begin by saying the 1 rating in no way reflects upon our server, Carolyn. She was friendly and attentive but not intrusive and clearly knew the menu. However, the rest of our experience was very disappointing. My husband s Maple Curry Penne and side Caesar salad was good. My Reuben sandwich and Greek side salad was awful. The bread was soggy and I had asked for extra sauerkraut but was given almost none. There was no pickle or mustard offered. My Greek salad was made with limp Iceberg lettuce?? and balsamic?? dressing. I am not opposed to paying for a good meal but the bill was insult on top of injury. Our entrees were approximately $21 each so with a beer and glass of wine our total was $91. Not outrageous for 2024 but certainly unacceptable based upon the quality of our food. We will not be returning to nor recommending the Lunar Rogue Pub.

Kinda overpriced! The drinks were good but on the pricey side. The food didnt impress much, and the price felt a bit steep for what you got in terms of quality and portion. Didnt like the wings at all. On the bright side, they gave me a free drink for my birthday, so no complaints about the staff theyre pretty nice and friendly. The vibe was good too

Probably the best hamburger I have ever had, and Ive had a lot of burgers in my time. The flavor of the ground meat, the seasoning and the perfect cooking really made this a dynamite place to come eat. Friendly staff and some tasty cocktails really cemented this as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Well done to all the staff!

I called almost a week in advance for a 4 person reservation for tonight. When we got there, we were seated at a 2 person table with 4 menus and 3 chairs. We grabbed a chair for the 4th but the table was so small that 2 of us were sitting between the table we were sat at and the next table over which also had a reserved sign on it (we are average size individuals). We asked if there would be people at the table beside us and were told yes. We didnt feel like bumping elbows with strangers so asked if we could wait for a slightly larger table to come available and was told no. The waitress asked if I had asked for a roomier table when I made the reservation. I told her I hadnt been there before so did not realize that they considered such small tables to be 4 person tables. She said they consider all of the tables to be 4 person tables. We went to Snooty Fox instead and had a delightful meal with great service. Our table spent about $350 and tipped 20% so its their loss but was still a disappointing experience. Maybe Ill try again if I go for supper with just 1 other person. I wish I had taken a photo to show just how cramped the table was.

Went for wings and they were not cooked at all...my wife had fish and it was all batter..the fish inside seemed to have been mixed with batter as well...horrible.

A well-loved pub specializing in Scotch. Very popular with the locals. In the warmer months, their cozy patio is almost always teaming with customers.

They serve the beer tower!!!! And the food. Another good place to hang out downtown Fredericton. It is a famous spot. So, parking for Friday evening can be tricky.

Great pub with lots of beer selection. I order the same thing every visit: the blackened haddock. The dish is not very spicy and should suit everyone. I tend to order mashed potatoes or rice on the side. The onions, peppers, and tomatoes served with the fish are always perfectly cooked and still have a little crispiness to them, cooked just the way I like it!

Went for a group lunch for a gentleman retiring from work. The food was fresh, quick and generous servings. I went on a limb and bad the Thai Chicken Stir-fry. It was delicious and had enough for another meal. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Definitely recommend Lunar Rogue for a clean and relaxed pub atmosphere.

Recently visited for my Wife and Is anniversary, and as usual, they do not disappoint! Absolutely the best whiskey bar around! Nearly 1000 selections, many of which are extremely rare and youll never be able to find a bottle of for sale. Well priced, very good food and a knowledgeable and very kind staff. Ive been here many times and NEVER had a bad experience in any way. The food is always great. The servers and bar staff are always top notch, and the whiskey is always flowing. I always recommend the Lunar Rogue to anyone I meet who even remotely enjoys their whiskey. Keep up the great work all!

Really? Nachos with 4 ingredients and had to ask for salsa. Also the butter chicken tastes like it is from a jar. The food is edible. But not worth it. Please do yourself a favor and avoid food here!!!!!!

Wonderful little pub! My husband, 6 month old and I stopped in for a drink and appetizer, while killing time during a wedding. We had a Moscow Mule, a Caesar and the loaded Kettle Chips. It was all delicious! The kettle chips were so good!! The staff were also very nice and speedy. No complaints at all. Our little boy slept the whole time, so it was nice getting to enjoy an adult beverage and relax on such a nice outdoor patio.

Weve been coming here for over 32 years. Service is great as is the food. If for any reason something is wrong or not to your satisfaction they will fix it. But that is a rarity. Our last visit was wing night. $9.99 starting at 7pm. Great wings. They also make great caesers(drink).

One of the best spots to eat in Fredericton. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. They have a different special every night of the week except Fridays and also serve breakfast on the weekends. They boast the largest selection of whiskey in all the Maritimes, and also have a large selection of local craft beer on tap too. If youre heading out in Fredericton its definitely worth the trip!

They had a nice breezing patio for a very hot and humid summer night. We were so tired and beat up because of a long drive, so the breeze and cold beer felt good. It is a casual place and have good fish and chips.

I m visiting Fredericton alone from the US. Lovely city, great food downtown. I stopped in Lunar Rogue for fish and chips and something on tap. The beer and food was solid classic pub where you stand at the bar, tables full of locals. Shout out to Donna who never hovered, never intruded, but took great care of a single woman having dinner, and let me chat a little on a quiet-ish Tuesday night. This is the right pub experience. Comfort food, good beers on tap, and someone who made me feel particularly welcome.

With 900 whiskies to choose from you need an app to decide, and guess what, they have their own app so that you can search for whiskies to try. Be prepared to download the app once you arrive. They also have around 20 beers on tap and reasonably priced wine by the glass. The place is unique inside, very cool to see 900 whiskies in locked cabinets. Because this place is unique, its a must-do while in Fredericton.

Awesome!!! What a find. On the way to the snooty fox with my wife and a friend from out of town when we stumbled upon this place and decided to try something new. Loved it, server was amazing, friendly helpful new her stuff. Food was excellent,opinion shared by all. Good selection of beers, but the the topping was there vast collection of whiskey... incredible. Great food and service, affordable. A must if in Fredericton.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere. My first time there, server was awesome and the food, wowsers, it was fantastic. I had the Salmon with Baked potato and the price was reasonable too. I definitely plan to go again.
