STMR.36 BBQ and Social in Fredericton

I am made sincerely uncomfortable by how staff here are treated by their management. Ive dined here twice and both times our servers were worked into the ground and with no support. I witnessed one server with tears running down her face. When we mentioned it to our own server and asked if we should alert management they asked us not to because all blame would fall onto the servers. What an incredible shame. Sounds like theres a lack of accountability. Ive heard rumors of this place being an awful work environment for as long as it has been open and that confirmed it for me. I cant believe this circus has been allowed to operate for this long. John and Greg need to be reprimanded and reassigned immediately. Also there are rodents running rampant in this building including under my table along the windows. I no longer will support this place and feel incredible pity for the waitstaff.

Lunch on Sunday Nov 10 2024. Very poor,fries only warm for both of us.Lunch menu limited and we almost walked. Come on,really nice restaurant,get some shes please.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of my meals. The food was very well prepared and the service was excellent. You cannot go wrong eating here when youre staying at the Delta.

Had dinner with my wife and son here yesterday oct 13 for our anniversary and I m not impressed at all. The chefs meat platter was cold. The biscuits we ordered didn t even make it in the oven lol they were cold and the butter was cold. I guess that step wasn t too important. lol. Also the brisket was dry and chewy and the pork ribs way overcooked and chewy. It says that the platter comes with bbq sauce and pickles lol we got a small cup of ketchup and not one pickle lol. The service was ok and the washrooms clean. I wouldn t bother going here unless you want to waist your time and money.

Sadly the food wasn t good. Brisket was dry, ribs were overcooked and they served us cold biscuits with cold butter on top. Biscuits were on the menu as hot honey butter biscuits . I guess they forgot the step where you put them in the oven. Service was good, atmosphere was loud as they sat 6 tables side by side and left the rest of the restaurant empty. We spent $200 for 3 people which was fairly priced, however all the food was overcooked and dry. Sadly we were excited to go, but won t waste our time again.

We went there for breakfast and we were absolutely blown away by the amount of food we got and how affordable and delicious everything was. I am a big fan of eggs Benedict and and am not exaggerating when I say they were the best Ive ever had. Highly recommend!

Really cool spot with a fun industrial vibe. We had the pulled pork (okay), the brisket (delicious), Mac and cheese (very good!), baked beans (delicious) and sweet potato fries (very good). Portions were huge - our family of 3 ate, and had some leftovers.

heard some decent things about this restaurant from a friends parents, so my partner and I as well as our two bestfriends went for an early supper on Friday at 4:30pm. We were sat down immediately outside and a few minutes later we were brought water and asked for drink orders. Only two of us ordered drinks (a pop and a mixed drink) and they took around 5-10 minutes to come out, nothing crazy! We placed our order right after and at 5:30pm I had looked at the clock and realized we still hadn t gotten our food, it was a tad strange as upon arriving there was one other table seated inside. Our food finally came after 40-45 minutes and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. My $50 steak was over cooked,my asparagus was still rock hard, my mashed potatoes were so dry I couldn t eat them and the Mac and cheese simply tasted like a noodle with a flavourless sauce. My partners meal was similar with the asparagus and potatoes however she did eat hers as it came with gravy but even then she did mention it was very dry. My friend s meals were mediocre but again edible. After sitting for another 30 minutes with a plate FULL in front of me, and multiple attempts to grab the waitresses attention while she was talking to other people - the waitress finally came back to see what was wrong. I did get my meal complimentary however it was almost untouched and so disappointing. In almost 2 hours at this restaurant, we seen our waitress 3 times. We had to ask for more water and every single time our waitress came to our table she would mention how she had a table come in and ask for specifically her and they were keeping her tied up, etc. She also tried to put the fault of the food due to the kitchen staff not being the normal staff . she was a sweet waitress and I loved her personality but at the end of the day, the service was just not good. The food wasn t good. And like many other comments on this post will say, if you are not dressed to the nines and presenting in a certain way, you are bottom of the totem pole. And I can with certainty say that is a fact as we were the second table sat and quickly forgotten about as soon as regulars started to show up.

Worse experience ever! Waited over 2 hours for our meal, everything was cold when it came out. Not recommended Food

Had a reservation for a Saturday night 715 pm. The layout and look of the place is pretty good for being at a hotel. There is a significant amount of background noise if you are placed in the middle and it is packed as it was tough to have a conversation or even hear the server. It wasn t until many people left that the ambient noise dropped low enough for some conversation. The menu was tempting and for a bbq place the selection seemed exactly what you would look for. Opting for the pit boss platter allowed for a wide variety of options. The appetizers, meatballs and jalapeno poppers, took over an hour to arrive but were hot and tasty. Mains took another 30 min - there is plenty of food, and the ribs were delicious, the brisket was tender, but the pork was flavourless, lacked any salt and was cool and almost cold in parts. A few hours later, I was sick to my stomach and since I didn t have anything else to eat that day, I already knew what the issue was. At 75$ a person final bill (alcohol included), I would be cautious about this choice of eatery or at least be more diligent about the quality of what is presented, although the server did comp the starters for the initial delay

We came to this restaurant to celebrate Birthday. What I recall it was really high class restaurant with high quality dishes , but now restaurant gone down a lot and serving dishes like Poutine, burgers, Mac&cheese, simple sandwiches, all what you can make much better at home. Yes, it was special choice : or piece of chicken, or ribs, or beef brisket. We took chicken piece , ribs. Both served with lots of potato fries that make impression that portion is huge , but fries were on a cold side , and very ordinary salads not much effort required to make. Both meats were very dry. Restaurant became not that far from any fast food restaurant quality. Very upsetting since it was really good place to eat and very nice location- on a river Service was good and fast, but menu was really upsetting. Guess people still coming because $20 for meal is not high price but do not recommend to celebrate Birthday or come and expect to have tasty meal. As I mentioned you just get a bigger portion McDonald s level food Parking: N/A

The service was very long. 1h30 to wait. bad cooking. fat and bad. My 3 year old daughter didnt eat anything. she was tired of waiting

BLUF: poor food, abysmal service Service: Seated at 7:15. Remainder of our party was delayed until 8:30. In the 1h15 we were tended to once. Food orders were taken 15 minutes after our full party arrived. It took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. No explanation, no communication to set expectations. Food: - biscuits: they were room temperature, the butter was ice cold thus rock hard. These were not charged on the bill which was appreciated. - burger and fries: burger was unseasoned. Fries had been sitting under the warmer so long they were soggy with oil and soft This wouldve been a better experience if the server was more attentive to the table. Them checking in more frequently to take subsequent drink or food orders. Them clearly communicating timelines for food. If food wasnt sitting under a warmer and properly presented it wouldve improved quality and been enjoyable. With this experience, I wouldnt recommend this.

I was there for a staff meeting lunch. I ordered the chicken with fries and it was awful. The freeze I think sat on the counter until they were cold and they threw them back in the deep fryer before they served them to me they were rubbery and the chicken was way overcooked almost tasted burnt I think they did the same thing with the chicken and then the token cold pickled vegetables they threw on the plate looked awful. Not a good experience certainly not value for the price

I made a reservation for my girlfriend s birthday for last night and when we walked in the restaurant was very loud I could not hear her talking when she was right beside me. There was a group of waitresses that kept looking at our table making us uncomfortable. Before we even ordered I was not impressed by this restaurant. Once the food arrived it looked very nice to the eye. The chefs badass burger tasted bland there wasn t enough seasoning if there was any at all the burger was dry and flavourless we ordered the sweet potato fries with the burger and there was a hair on the fries and we showed it to our waiter and he took it back to the kitchen and then he came back and disagreed that it was a hair and that it was a towel string and gave us the same fries back did not even offer to replace them. Towel string or hair it doesn t matter I don t want things like that in my food especially at a restaurant as nice as STMR 36. We also ordered the double crunch fried chicken with regular fries and when it came out it also looked pleasing to the eye but once I bit into it I found that while it not as dry as the burger it was also flavourless and did not have enough seasoning and almost half the piece of fried chicken was just fried batter no chicken in sight. They also just give you a tiny cup of barbecue sauce to have with these three pieces of chicken so there was not nearly enough to hide the flavourless taste of it. The sweet potato fries were the only decent food that was on our plates while the regular fries were soft and floppy and had no flavour once again there was no salt on the fries. At the end of the meal we told our waiter that it was her birthday and we did not get to choose the dessert that was brought to us like in other restaurants when you tell the server about a birthday. They brought out their lemon mousse cake while it was good it did not redeem for the bland meal we had just eaten also would like to add they should have let us choose which dessert they were all the same price so that does not matter what if we had an allergy to lemon or blueberries. Overall it was a terrible experience and is most definitely not worth the high price tag you d be paying if you came here

Well....like a similar review this restaurant gave mixed feelings or plain and simple shouldnt be in business!! We were nice and pleasant and we were looked at like our time wasnt valuable and could wait 30 minutes just for a drink to start while the server stood at the counter casually chatting and sticking her butt out at the counter!!! Sorry about the unprofessionalism but sometimes being professional just doesnt make the point. Whoever she was, she missed out on a 25% percent tip on a decent order. I recommend going and walking out just to make them think about it or are they just spoiled little girls of this generation.

We were there yesterday for a graduation dinner. We were the first table to place an order and the last table to receive their food. In fact, the last table that ordered got their food first. We were there for 1.5hrs before receiving any food (my table specifically). We were so hungry that at one point we asked for the cold fries that the table next to us (who were part of our party) had ordered so we could have something to snack one while we waited, and shared it between the 8 of us at our table. They brought the wrong steak for my brother (they brought him a more expensive one than what he ordered) and it was undercooked, they brought my niece her burger with an onion ring on it, after she ordered her meal gluten free. She is allergic and ate half of the burger before realizing the mistake. They did not bring me the water that I ordered with my meal and only after I was almost done did someone come check on us to see how we liked our meals, at which point I was able to get some water. We also were not offered any more drinks while waiting, just the ones we ordered when we sat down. The coleslaw is not what youd expect (and its not described as being any different in the menu). The vegetables tasted like they had been marinated in vinegar and were awful. The one carrot they gave me was barely cooked, the rest was all onion, with 1/2of a mushroom and the two tiniest pieces of cauliflower (about the size of a pea). The baked potato was good, as were the ribs. Overall, terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Pulled pork is the best in freddy

Very tasty food. We had a half portion of nachos, ribs and salad. Everything was delicious, but the half portion of nachos was huge, so we had trouble finishing our meal. The service was very friendly.

Slow seevice and the food quality is poor. Especially the chicken wings.if you ask them for hot chicken wings they will bring the wings and hot sauces spreadly.

The service was shockingly slow. We were there for over 2 hours. That was to serve two adults and two kids. The food wasnt too bad, although salty. The kids meals were not frozen food/junk food, which was a nice surprise. Over seasoned food and slow service are small obstacles that Im sure they could overcome if they listen to feedback. Well give them another try sometime.

Really surprised by how bad breakfast was. We were in for breakfast, and while the server was friendly, it was a long wait. It was busy/they seemed understaffed, so that was understandable. The bigger issue was the food. One of the people in our party has a severe gluten allergy, and there werent many options for breakfast that didnt run the risk of cross-contamination. After ordering, the food took almost an hour to arrive, and when it arrived, the plate had deep-fried potatoes on it, which would pose an allergy risk. The response from the restaurant was just dont eat them but the risk of cross contamination is a serious one for celiac/gluten allergies. Im surprised there isnt dedicated gluten free options that are guaranteed safe to eat, and the attitude of just dont eat them when theyre already touching other food on the plate is not enough. We spoke with the manager who apologized, but someone should ensure the kitchen addresses this. On top of that, the gluten-free toast was never delivered, and the eggs were poorly cooked. Other dishes ordered had problems too. The waffles were overcooked/very dry, and the wrong eggs were delivered. By that time we were so hungry we just decided to stay and eat what we could. Overall, until the restaurant can do a better job addressing food safety and allergy prevention for all customers, I will not be returning. Dietary restrictions: Few Gluten-friendly options, poor food handling by the kitchen

My whole family went to STMR.36 for fathers day and were quite shocked to see that the place was only half full. We soon understood why, when we realized just how much it appears to have gone downhill. From our non-existent waiter who couldnt be bothered to stop by and even fill up a water glass, to screwing up more than one persons order (wrong portion size, wrong entrée and forgetting appetizers) to my chicken being undercooked (mmmmm... nothing better than pink, fried chicken...),, the whole meal was a disaster. we all left, agreeing that something was desperately wrong and we were not planning on returning. It is sad, because I normally enjoyed my meals at STMR.36 in the past, but today was terrible. If this is what we can expect from now on, we will dine elsewhere.

Last night, we went out for Dinner and ate on the patio which was absolutely beautiful!! Service was slow and it took a while to get our food however our server was very friendly :) Food was excellent and same with our drinks I would definitely go again :)

The drinks were outrageous in price but overall good. The half nachos are stacked but halfway thru no toppings. I had this before, and it was full of toppings all the way to the bottom. Disappointed. My friend enjoyed the 8 ribs and fixings.

Service was slow but friendly. Food was delicious at an excellent price for portion! The mac was a tad under seasoned for me but was very homey. Edit : changed the food rating due to the pork ribs. There were parts of the ribs that were too hard and dry to eat. Stick with brisket!

This was our first time eating at the STMR.36 restaurant and it was amazing! Our hostess Julie was so friendly and so was our server. We ordered the pitboss platter. Our food hot and delicious and there was sooo much! Julie set us up with equally wonderful desserts, a fresh made cookie with icecream and toppings!! AND a brownie with topping, berries, and whipped cream! I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try you wont be disappointed :p

Just moved back to N.B. last month and was really concerned about finding a place with great steak/prime rib. My friend suggested STMR.36 and, I have to say, what a great recommendation! Great atmosphere and excellent service from Martina, and John (the general manager) even stopped by our table to make sure that we were well looked after. We had the jalapeño poppers and prime rib, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The margaritas were really good. Love this place, amazing food, great management and staff, cant wait to go back!

It was okay. The food was alright but not amazing. However, the service was very slow. Theyre might have been four other tables in the restaurant but we waited 25 minutes before the server came back to take our drink order and were just about to give up and leave. We watched tables that were seated well after us have their order taken before us too.

So excited to finally go here while back in Freddy...and yeah we walked out. So if you are not dressed to the nines you will get dirty looks for the people who stay at the hotel that strike number 1. The ladies at the restaurant who seated us were lovely. We get to our table and are seated with menus, lots of great options and the prices are fair. The place was not busy maybe 5 tables of people. We look through the menu, no one comes by even to get our drinks order from us. The waitress walked by us twice, no acknowledgement. 10mins go by I have seen people looking at from the back they see us sitting there waiting menus closed...nadda no one came by. We got up and left, the only person who acknowledged us was the bartender who was working his butt off filling orders for all the people in lobby bar drinking. Dont waste your time or money, unless you look fancy they think and look down on you and that you dont have money to spend. Little do they know not to judge a book by its cover. There are plenty of other great places in Fredericton that have better food, service and just a better experience.

Service was great, friendly and accommodating staff. Wanted to like this spot. We came at supper time and it was incredibly noisy - we couldnt hear each other speak. It is probably a more enjoyable location during lunch hours. Food ranged from OK to downright terrible. Chicken wings were cold and hot sauce they were glazed in tasted like mild tomato soup... The Mac and cheese was great, but otherwise not worth the price tag in my opinion.

The Dine around Freddy experience at your fine establishment was hands down the best of the 3 that we tried. The portions, the flavor and the ambiance far exceeded any of the others. The Trio of Tacos took top spot! Thank you for a lovely evening.

We went last night for a quick dinner, turned out we have to wait for more than 30mins. Thats okay. Our server was great, though he was busy, still manage to entertain us. When the food arrived, the fries on my plate is warm (on the way to cold) and most of them are as hard as rock (some of them are consumable enough lol). Didnt mentioned it to the server, it was not a big deal. The burger (Classic Burger) was okay, nothings special in it. Taste a little bland, but maybe because Im used to food with more seasoning in it. The deal breaker was the group of people besides us, which laughed so loud that they overpowered the music (imagine that). Maybe theyre just so happy, they cant control their laughter? I guess? All in all, wont be back as price is to steep, for a rock-hard fries and a regular burger. Rocket burger is waaaaay better.

Just an all around great meal, from service to portions, our group of nine thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Id recommend the extra crispy chicken and biscuits, you wont be disappointed!!

The service here was terrible. They didnt take our order for 37 minutes. They didnt bring out our appetizers at all. Waitress didnt even acknowledge that fact. The food came 80 minutes after being seated. They didnt refill our water after asking. We asked the waitress for ketchup and water and she never brought it out. We then asked 3 other people for water and ketchup. They brought us the water only. I had to get up and go to the kitchen myself to ask for the ketchup and after that we still didnt get it. The mac and cheese was cold. Manager was rude. Would never go back here.

Crab & onion dip was excellent, great bread. Nice mac & cheese and decent butternut ravioli. Good ribs. The veggies were another story. Either oversweet or in the case of the roasted broccolini, just totally dried out and gross, and I love greens. Never seen veggies that disgusting at a restaurant that charges $8 for a side of them.

1 and a half hours for an appetizer didnt have time to have a meal.

Perfect restaurant to start romantisizing your life more. We went at lunch hour and it was very peacefull and calm. Staff was attentif and polite and the food is SO tasty. I cant believe I waited this long to try it. Well definitly be back!

Fredericton s top restaurant. Everything is always delicious and fresh. Perfect for date night, get dressed up and enjoy a nice meal, with a great atmosphere. The brisket is so good, tender and always a good portion. The tallow whipped potatoes never disappoint. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Burger and beer!

We visited during the holiday break and their lunch special was delicious. My spouse had been there a couple of weeks earlier and the mac and cheese had not been hot on the interior so we proactively requested it be fully heated on this visit, however, it was not. I had to seek out our server because they did not check in after the delivery of the food. They took it away to be heated more and when the mac and cheese was returned it was deliciously bubbly. Again, it would have been nice if our server had checked in to ensure everything was okay, especially a given the issue. Perhaps the individual was new in their role and so well give them the benefit of the doubt. There was the second server on the floor and they were incredible in their attentiveness and personality. Regardless, the food was very good and we will be returning.

We had the chicken and brisket at this place. The brisket was tender and the portion size was really good, the chicken however was dry and honestly didn t taste fresh at all. The sides were good especially the coleslaw was awesome and very different. I don t recommend chicken at this place. The atmosphere is generally good although there was a super loud crowd sitting right next to us and one of them would laugh veeeryy loudly and weirdly!

Two times in a row, the food has been ok, and the service has been non-existent. Wait-staff completely ignore their tables. I have never been anywhere else where a server doesnt care to ask if you want more drinks, or if the meal is ok. As former restaurant staff, it kills me to see such poor service.

Awesome food, great atmosphere, busy!! The bar is just like the parking lot, you wait until the someone leaves to get a seat at the bar. All in good humor, we had a great time!!

This is the place to go for a more upscale, better quality meal and service in Fredericton. Go at 4pm when the menu changes to dinner, as its quieter and service is quicker. We got the Pit Boss Platter, it was amazing. We (2 ppl) could only eat half! Portions are huge! 5 stars overall.

Food was just O.K.

Food was great, however if you are a hotel guest on a Friday or Saturday you may want to make reservations ahead of time as locals fill this restaurant often. We were not able to get in for supper, however we did have breakfast here, good food.

Food portions were big but it felt Like eating at a buffet.Everything just covered in sauce .Felt just full and uncomfortable after eating .Nothing fancy to eat .When we stay at delta we expect up class meals not a chicken smothered in bbq sauce or pulled pork dripping with grease...

Food took awhile to come to us but was served with good sized portions. Found the food a little bland, felt like could have used a bit more flavour. That being said the food was delicious, my kids loved the chicken strips. We will go back.

We love the experience, its so fun not having to make decisions and the food is crazy good and there is so much food you have take home for at least 2 more meals. Its very expensive at $70/person so it has to be a special occasion, this time it was my Moms 75th birthday and my brother treated!

I recently visited SMR.36 and had one of the best dining experiences of my life! The brisket was out of this world - tender and juicy, with just the right amount of smoke and flavour. The lunch and dinner portions were incredibly generous - it was definitely worth the price! The drinks were also amazing - I enjoyed a great craft beer and a unique cocktail that were both delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend SMR.36 for anyone looking for a great meal!

Good place, but they allow children and guest to wander through the area in bathing suits.

It is a lovely restaurant and the staff are very friendly and quick. The food was delicious! We had the BBQ Sampler with 3 meats chosen from a selection of 5 and 4 sides. The pulled pork was moist with lots of sauce and delicious. The BBQ chicken was tender and very tasty. My wife had the spicy Italian sausage and really enjoyed it. We would definitely go there again. Parking: Loads of free parking spaces because of the large hotel parking lots. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, all on the ground floor with no steps or ramps.

STAY AWAY!! Visited this restaurant about 2 months ago. The waiter had no knowledge of anything on the menu. We asked about gluten free options and his reply was I don t know . We had to as him to find out options for us. He came back very quickly and told us everything was gluten free. LIE! We asked him twice if the order was gluten free and he said yes it was. I became very sick for 2 days after. I contacted the restaurant twice about the issue with NO reply from anyone. Basically they didn t care that they made someone very sick and that this staff member is not knowledgeable about anything on the menu (including drinks). Worst experience at a restaurant and disgraceful management. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

The food here is delicious. The portion sizes are quite generous so the price is definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

I live in Alberta but all my visits back to Fredericton, STMR36 is always a MUST go for at least one supper. The brisket is amazing.

Don t get the poutine! But, get the lunch special if you can. Good service.

As usual the food was amazing and service fantastic. However our visit today was an unsettling one. While waiting for our meals we heard a table beside us shout. We looked to see what was happening a mouse ran across the dining area floor. The couple did notify the staff but it did put a damper on our meal. As I m sure this is not a normal occurrence and that the staff will take all proper precautions and measures to make sure this doesn t happen again I still recommend trying out this place.

Prices for food were on the high side of reasonable, but the drink prices are way too high. For a hotel bar/restaurant its very nice.

Update: Could be a temporary issue, but there are actual rodents in the restaurant. We raised the issue with staff, they said its quite normal to have them running around. I nearly gagged. Health inspector needs a check-in asap. Hands down the best BBQ joint in town, and its fancy! Get any cut of meat on the menu, its all incredible. I also suggest trying the whiskey or scotch flights, its a unique opportunity to experience different upscale liquors without commiting to one. But by far the biggest attraction, at least for me, is the blooming onion. This appetizer, of Outback Steakhouse fame, is absolutely amazing and I do believe this is the only spot in Atlantic Canada that you can get it.

Really nice restaurant. Prices seem pre inflation. Food was delicious, portions are really good. The only thing is its super loud because its always packed, make reservations in advance.

Took a very long time to get served once seated. Atmosphere and decor is great but unfortunately food is overpriced for what you get.

Some establishments have cooks. STMR has a Pit Boss!!

I came with a group. Waited 2.5 hours for food to arrive. Food was burnt when it finally arrived. Few people got the food that they ordered correctly. If you cant handle large parties of guests, dont book them...

We had beef brisket and pulled pork for dinner. Both were delicious and each includes two side dishes. They have great varieties of side dishes. All the four sides we chose were yummy! The next morning we had our breakfast here. I had avocado toast which was really good and healthy. Nice lighting and great atmosphere here. Would definitely come back next time when we visit again.

We decided to forgo the fast food choice for our quick lunch while we were in town. We tried STMR36 and were pleasantly impressed with the service, selection on the lunch menu and the price. The portions were generous and the time from order to receiving our lunch was excellent. What I liked was how the server provided us with a pitcher of ice water rather than having to wait for water refills. Great food, decent price (comparatively close to a value meal at your average fast food place) I will return.

This was my 2nd time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be back for many more visits. The service, food and value are excellent. Make sure you bring a large appetite as the portions are big.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! The customer service is above and beyond, along with the food! My husband and I ordered half an order of nachos thinking they would just be okay and a small portion (classic Ontario dining size). The nachos came out and we were both shocked on the size and quality of the food. We also both got entrees which were incredibly though we couldn t finish them. Aldin was our server, he was absolutely fantastic, giving his suggestion on food recommendations and just a great guy and very personable! If I lived in the area I would happily spend all my money dining here! Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot provided, if you do plan on spending the night a sign said it s $13 a night which is very reasonable though if you re dining you don t need to worry Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access, no ramps or stairs to worry about!

Went there for my birthday celebration and they made my day by serving me delicious food. I tried the best nachos and its really good. Good quantity and perfectly made. I tried their mozzarella sticks and fettuccine Alfredo pasta. Everything was delicious. Wanted to have chicken wings too but they were not available as they were done. But from their service, to food, to atmosphere everything is great. Complete fine dine experience. Thank you

We dined in and had to wait sooooo long for our food. 3 tables came in after us and were served way before us. Horrible service at our table anyway. I finally asked for the kids pancakes so they could eat. Not impressed.

I have some real mixed feelings about this place because we started off having bad experience after bad experience (we ate here several times because we are in town working and nothing else is open late). It got to the point that I ended up getting extremely upset and notified one of the managers. She tried giving some reasons and excuses but I quickly let her know we were a group of chefs and wouldnt put up with it. Service was super slow, and inconsistent sometimes taking over 45 minutes for our food to come. One of the servers didnt even serve us water for the whole night witch is a basic restaurant service. After complaining however our experiences got much better and I believe they purposefully matched us up with the better servers. Overall this place is a roll of the dice for quality.

Wow, came here for a $138 five course dinner and what a let down once again!! Extremely small portions, super small whiskey tasting, about a quarter ounce! (Suppose to be an ounce per glass). Not to mention they charge $20 for a Manhattan cocktail!!!!!! Thats absolutely ridiculous!!!! Done with this place.

Stopped for supper brought our son as a treat as he loves ribs. Ribs were mediocre, my wife had brisket which was very well prepared. Moist not over cooked and with great flavors. I ordered the chef smashed burger....what a disappointment, two reheated patties dried out thick not a smashed burger, ate the brisket that came on the burger left the rest. Poor baked stuffed tater was still cool but did have great flavor.. As an app we ordered blooming onion, showed up way over cooked and tasteless our amazing waiter had it removed from the check as it was very obvious. Great location, good atmosphere, good staff

Found this place on Instagram whilst staying in Fredericton. It s located in a hotel complex thing but the restaurant is quite large with nice interior. It was very busy so must be popular! The food was good. We had nachos to start and share between 4 and they were huge! We added the pit mix of meat but didn t get much tbh so don t think it was worth it. I was a bit full after those so had to cancel one main and share those too. Very large portions! The poutine was good too. All 4 of us had to take away the food as there was just too much and we saw a lot of other people doing so. Our server was nice and friendly but the service was very slow particularly at the end when waiting for the bill so had to ask someone else.

The food was great at STMR. Our table had the Fettuccine Alfredo and the brisket. No complaints with the food. The service wasnt great on this occasion as we were served without cutlery, a side dish was forgotten and 2 drinks were forgotten also. Our server was good with this and we received a good discount.

a reservations was made for 17 people approximately 2 weeks prior as we were celebrating a bday. After reservations was made two phone calls were made to ensure that 2 high chairs were made available to us. When we showed up for our 4:30 reservation there was no highchairs available and it wasnt until at least 1/2 hour later one high chair was given to us. We had two baby girls that required high chairs. After we asked if we could get drinks we then had to hunt down the waitress to get the childrens food order in, and then after another length of time we had to ask if the adults could order their food. The childrens food came out in a good time but no other food came. After a lengthy period of time we had asked the waitress about our food and which she replied it will be out in 5 minutes, we waited another 25 minutes to get food, which was cold, and to a point the nachos that were ordered were not fit to eat, as they were cold and soggy. We were at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours which was not by choice and we didnt even order dessert as all of us had to leave. I can say at this time I would not recommend this restaurant.

This is such a good restaurant. Service is amazing, fancy furnishings, BBQ is just deadly, lots of good beer available on tap, all in a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. This is our go-to when we visit Fredericton.

Stmr.36 lost its charm...new menu not great, new manager rude, new music sounds like elevator music and puts you to sleep, noticed a lot of staff gone...not much good to say anymore. Even the mac and cheese isnt so good anymore. Used to be a fun vibrant place but not the last couple visits. Too bad.

Its been a long time since we were at the delta. Didnt know it changed to a BBQ joint. My vegan wife was stunned how good the vegan option was. My father in law loved the salmon. Nachos were decent, but waaay too much salt. To the point of almost being inedible.

Excellent food, ambiance and staff. I would normally highly recommend this place, however Friday evening there seemed like the old days at the Hilltop or Cosmo. It was extremely loud. Im not sure why everyone there was so loud. There were 4 of us at a table and we couldnt have a conversation. Nothing against the restaurant or the staff, its the patrons that need to learn self control and how to be an adult in public... Also, some idiot parked in the middle of the walkway to the parking spots nearest the Woodstock Rd, nothing the staff can do about that either, but some of us have mobility issues and that was extremely inconsiderate. If I was able to, I would have walked over the car, front to back up over the roof. We will go back and try again as the food and service are excellent.

Highly recommend for date night! Even a group dinner! We had fantastic service from the waitress and even the restaurant director. We decided to go for The Experience, it did not disappoint the chef put together a menu of a snack, apps, mains, and desserts, that all complemented each other. The restaurant director brought us some bourbon before our main came to the table which was absolutely amazing! The team was very knowledgeable and accommodating of food allergies. This menu option gives a lot of food, so we had dinner today and left overs for the both of us tomorrow. The experience is on the pricey side but well worth it given the amount and quality of the menu the chef had chosen. It s also extremely fun to be surprised and excited to see what they re going to bring out next! This is a must menu option that more restaurants should provide! I would love to see if the chef changes up the chosen menu seasonally. Definitely will do again. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

However the service was very slow, we had to ask after 15min of waiting for them to send a waitress to take our order, and she didnt get the drink orders right. Would have been 5 stars had it not been for the service.

Went there last week to visit some childhood friends while home from BC to visit my mother. We were a group of 16. Although It was busy it was not overly so. The waiter was decent for that many people but seemed somewhat apathetic when I had a concern regarding my brisket. Three people in my group, including myself, had cold brisket. To be fair, although the waiter offered to take it back to reheat it, by then it just didnt seem appetizing any longer. On the plate it looked like mush and the sauce was runny... I was disappointed and in the future will choose a different venue to go out with friends, especially with a sub-par dinner with a price point on the higher side. There was not any mention nor was one made of a discount on my dinner and for that I wont go back. The one bright point was the seafood chowder... which was excellent.

Maybe 3.5/5? 3 is a little too harsh but it doesnt feel like a 4 star place. Most of the food was okay; some was way, way over seasoned. Like having a salt lick disguised as food. You do get a lot for the money though....which could be bad if it is a hidden salt lick. Service was good. Classic mixed drink ordered was made to look fancy but taste was blah....2/5. It is an okay restaurant, but I wouldnt go crazy over it the way some people have been in the reviews.

Had the 1/2 chicken. Was tasty as were the sides (mushrooms and veggies in my case). Thought the flights of beer, scotch, bourbon etc were a great idea. Didnt see one for wine though. Would recommend they do that.

Amazing experience with delicious food and friendly staff.

We ve been a few times now and the experience has been excellent every time. Food is great, prices are great, service is great. Chairs are so comfy you may never leave! Awesome selection of cocktails. The beef brisket is to die for. Will be back many many times.

STMR.36 has a real upbeat feel to it. The servers are excellent and friendly. Their nachos are delicious and the presentation is impressive. They may look pricey on the menu, but there is easily enough for four people. The server advised us that it is possible to ask for a half order, which is good news if you are planning on eating a main course as well! (The nachos in the pictures are a full order.)
