Nasty male bartender, from NS and could not read French so I thought I pressed the top button and canceled it without realizing I said I was sorry and confused and man belittles me over it.

Bouncers were disgusting and handled a situation unprofessionally and without consent.

You only think this place is ok if you ve never been to another club before. Bouncers are on a whole different level of power trip

Bouncers threw a drink at me when I was leaving last night for absolutely no reason

It was not busy when we get inside but overall I liked it. Fish and chips and beer was tasty, thanks.

We were asked to make Interac transfers to the doorman to go inside not too professional

awful place to come and try to have a good time. lineup outside always turns into a mosh pit, with the bouncers doing nothing to help. cover is $10 cash only, which you wouldnt realize until you get inside, or you read a review lol. inside it is always disgusting with a packed dance floor on the main floor and the second floor. the tables, booths, and floors are always incredibly sticky and gross, no matter what time/day you decide to come. DJ is also not amazing, playing the same mainstream songs over and over again without mixing them properly and skipping through the best parts. all in all it might be fun for your first time out, but there are definitely better places to be in gatineau and downtown ottawa.

The staff is totally a vibes. You make the best memories here! Should check it out on weekend!

Really a great experience

Hum I notice mainly negative remarks in English I have to go there for a social on the 26th so I will notice for the service and the atmosphere. I believe that there are simply bad tongues that share.

Rude service for being the only ones inside, can t imagine how this place is open. Bartender was disinterested, abrasive, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. No one spoke to us after our first order, it was a Thursday? Was also kinda dirty and our table was sticky. Can get better service anywhere else do not go here.

Food wasnt the greatest... we waited over an hour and a half for our food .. on a positive note our waiter Maxime was very friendly and was quick to bring us our drinks.

Way to small to fit as many ppl as they let in. Absolutely packed. extremely rude security. Terrible DJ that manages to take all the fun out of classic song. Impossible to even access coat check without cutting through a small army. For all the security that makes the place feel almost hostile, none are interested in managing the massive lines and are instead more focused on selling easy pass wristbands. The fact that this place even calls itself a club is embarrassing. I honestly feel sorry for everyone that works here outside of rude bartenders and security.

really aggressive bouncers for some reason. i was trying to get out the front and the guy was yelling at me. if you know what iteawon is and how their crowding tragedy happened, they literally create the same conditions and don t do anything to prevent people from being crushed. just incredibly ignorant workers.

The employees really disrespected us, we paid our way in, went inside and were told to pay for the coats. We stayed there for 5 minutes. I would have liked a refund of $40 for entry.

Entrance is $10... is the top section closed? Once inside we have to pay extra for our coats which we cannot keep with us... It would have been fun to know before we paid the entrance fee. In the end $60 for our entries for barely staying 5 minutes because they only take cash.

The employees were downright disrespectful to us. They are all simply thieves. They didnt want to give us our change. I dont recommend anyone to go there!!!!

absolutely the worst establishment i have ever been to. bouncers only care about getting money and not the safety of the people they let in and out of the bar. they let in underage kids, they let in people for an extra cost to skip the line and then charge them AGAIN, and on top of that, they let the lines of people become like mosh pits. people were fist fighting in the lines and pushing women to the ground and not one bouncer cared to help or break it up. a man tryed to fist fight me and grope me in line because i was asking him politely to stop pushing me because he was hurting me. i have bruises all over my legs because of this- and not one bouncer was in sight to stop it. i m appalled. after my experience last night watching the bouncers LAUGH at the smaller women get trampled in a mosh pit line, we ended up leaving and couldn t even get out of the line because people were trying to block us in and spray alcohol that was let into the line all over a large group of people trying to leave. a word of advice to the owners and operators of the establishment, your bouncer staff is a joke and only care about the extra cash they re getting from underagers and people willing to skip lines and should not be employed to keep young adults safe. i m so disappointed. you really should consider getting new staff.

Entry fee is 10 dollars. Shots and drinks aren t too expensive. Sometimes the security are super up tight but sometimes they do their job well and they are fun. This place is great for dancing! Sometimes it s a little too packed though.

Male bartender was being very rude and aggressive. Completely immature for working at a club. Tall ish guy with mustache and beard, white male, hair parts in the middle, rude on multiple different occasions, cussed teenagers out, got angry when someone ordered a drink. Other bartenders noticed because they reassured us with affirming nods and mouthed it s ok . I have heard other people have the same experiences. This man is disrespectful and honestly makes me not want to go back and many friends agreed.

I went on a Saturday around 11 and it was PACKED. A little bit of a line but nothing unreasonable. Cover was $10 and coat check $2, both cash only, drinks were ~$10 with shots being ~$5. One warning the bathroom was GROSS, all the stalls had badly clogged toilets and there was toilet paper everywhere.

Horrible food absolutely disgusting I saw it be microwaved and I had to pay 38 dollars for that. The lights are blinding at 4 and the music was so loud for 2 people in there.

Good bar on normal days. During the New Year I believe they did not calculate their capacity. Everyone was stuck on top of each other and people were still entering the bar when it was at maximum capacity.

Worst bar in Old Hull!!! If I could have put 0, this is the rating I would have given! The service is terrible, there are lots of minors and the bartenders tip when they see that people are starting to get too drunk. The security guys have no class and take people out for no reason by pushing them in the back! I definitely recommend it to anyone!

I was there for an event. Not very enticing. Not very clean. Especially given all the other nice places in the area. The service was super slow (just to order a beer) and the two guys seemed a little out of it

Had a great night but this bar was not part of it. Bouncers were very rude. They had a mentality that it is them against everyone else. They are not interested in theyre clients having a good time. I had a bouncer ask me to punch him in the face so that he could kick me out. I wont explain he whole situation. DJ was awful. Drinks were decently priced but Im from Ottawa so Im used to $25 pitchers.

This club is unsafe. My advice to anyone is to not come here unless you wanna be choked out and beaten up by the bouncers for hitting your vape. They don t do pat downs and look through ppls bags upon entry. So if you had a gun you could easily bring it in. (I ve seen it). These bouncers have no training what so ever and are all on a power trip looking for opportunities to start fights.

Sad to know that Gainsbourg has been replaced by this. The food was good but the service was terrible. The waitress spills our beer and says come back with napkins. 15 minutes pass and still no one...except the wasps, too happy to have a party on our sticky table. The dishes arrived, without cutlery or napkins...we had to ask twice, to finally go get them ourselves inside because the dish was cold. Same for salt/pepper, you can always ask. A quick tour of the bathroom before leaving: Of the three, one is out of order, one has the paper dispenser completely torn from the wall and no paper in sight anywhere. At the exit, our absent waitress was recording Tiktok with her friend in front of the restaurant. Once, not twice , as we say at home.

The bouncer attack my girlfriend because he push her for no reason and I tried stopping the drama idk what was going on. I thought my girl got push by a random guy then I tried to slip them up and the bouncer was going crazy. He pushed me away and took me on the ground(floor) and he was trying to physically trying to hurt my girlfriend. Which he did, she has bruises all over her arm. Btw we got kicked out because the bouncer pushed her for no reason, she got upset but as a bouncer that no reason to lay hands on a girl.

It was horrible! The comedy show was just awful! The comedians were very mean to me and made several autism jokes about me, telling me that I would never have a blonde because of this condition! The others found it sad and the host forced people to stay seated if they left. Really pathetic! Dont ever go there unless you want to be tortured...

Excellent service

We ordered a plate, we were asked to pay before getting the dish. So I paid as well as added the tip. WE NEVER RECEIVED THE DISH! It was during a show too, so there was no time to get up every 5 minutes to see if my dish had arrived. I got my money back, but the girl kept the tip.

Made me pay for water and the bouncers almost didnt let my friend it because it didnt look like her Im the picture Im F19 and my friend is 18 I think there purposely picking on the 18 year Olds. They aggressively patted down 15 of them before me and made them all show two ids Im going to call and complain about the water because it is illegal

Bouncers are very aggressive they should be put behind bars, if you see them take a picture of their face and post it they get very upset over it they re like little babies when it comes to that

The waitress was nonchalant, barely smiled and spent her time sitting at the bar. You had to get up and go to your cash register to order something else. And unfortunately, the dishes ordered were mediocre, not worth their prices at all. It was my first visit...and the last.

Beautiful view of the upstairs terrace, however the waitress seemed annoyed perhaps by the number 12 or perhaps by our children 6 (even though they were super calm). The waitress made a mistake during the service and accused us of having ordered incorrectly. Then she comes back like a flower without excuse with the right dish. Never once did she come to check if everything was correct. Food at the service level: fries more than cooked (charred) and half of the salmon tartare dish was missing.

Super Karaoke on Wednesday nights! Awesome food (before 10pm) - it s like a house party, lots of fun, lots of friends!

Worst experience in a long time. We went to dinner before the Cirque du Soleil, remembering a great experience with Gainsbourg. What a mistake! The place was dirty, the service slow and pretty much lacking and unprofessional despite the place being almost empty and the food terrible. I was heartbroken until the next day after eating their Crispy Burger (ordered hoping for a nice crispy chicken breast in a good bun, only to have on the plate a more than ordinary bun with a imitation chicken patty worthy of McDonalds). Definitely not recommended!

Was here tonight, Sept 15. The place wasn t that busy and yet we still had to wait 30 minutes before the server even asked to take our order. There were two staff just standing around. Worst service I ve had in as long as I can remember.

worst service i ve ever had. the lady at the bar wouldn t give me a glass of water, and instead tried to sell me a water bottle, which is illegal. any establishment serving alcohol must provide free water if requested. she said it was because her manager was right there. the blond bartender was incredible rude. she did not look like she wanted to be there, did not give me the option to tip, and included it in the price before handing over the machine. handing over the machine being an overstatement, she didn t even turn the machine towards me, and when i didn t immediately tap my card just pointed at it and gave me a rude stare. on top of all that, none of the bathrooms had toilet paper or hand soap, and the music sucked. they were charging $5 entrance plus $2 coat check which was absolutely not worth it.
