When you have children this is the place. Much cheaper! And the children benefit from it.

The food was meh as we had a project party there .however the structure of the building is very strong and secure as it easily held a group of 80 people on the arch steps for a group picture . Overall I recommend for structural integrity of the building .

When I was eaten there, I was really sick when I left. The Wontong soup, the meat was poorly cooked and it tasted like burnt Calorifo, I was very disappointed!

Last time I came was pre-pandemic, so its been a minute, but they have a process now where you pay first. Im sure there are valid reasons for it, but its super disorganized. There was a line up all the way to the door, no standing room, and you dont get seated in any type of order. Servers come, tell them what tables are ready for how many and then they ask how many people are in your party and if you fit, you sit. There was a larger party waiting for an hour to be seated, but meanwhile the upstairs wasnt even open. Also, half the food tasted like fridge or was dry AF. Weird.

You pay for your meal before you enter. They add an automatic service fee of 12% to the bill as a tip for the staff. They also prompt you on the payment screen to see if you wish to pay more as a tip. There were no signs about the cost of the meal or the included fees. I only found out afterward when browsing their website to find out why it was so expensive. The meal for two on Sunday evening was about $100.

Great idea, poor execution unfortunately and at $36 before tax and drinks per person,it really should be better. Food seems unfresh and sitting around for a while in the buffet. Go get a pizza somewhere else will be waaaay better and certainly better value!.

Managing a large buffet setup must be quite a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping everything fresh and maintaining cleanliness. While it s understandable, there are small areas that could be fine-tuned to improve the overall experience.

Food was pretty bad went to the bathroom a guy was taking a massive liquid dump extremely loud guy came out its one of the cook didnt even bother washing his hands and went straight back to the kitchen this was the most disgusting restaurant experience I have ever had both me and the wife left feeling nausea do not go there another customer complained about how the place was bad for contamination and the staff couldnt care less and just made fun of him after he left *update 3/4 of us got sick my 9year old trew up all night....

I went earlier in the year and didnt like the food. I returned on Friday October 8, 2024 since my partner wanted to go there for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. This time I liked the food. I love seafood so there was unlimited crab legs plus mussels and good shrimp. You have to pay in advance, but I think its because there are too many people that they left without paying. And, whats good, children aged 12 and under, so one child per adult free.

I love it, and I you want my opinion its the best of the best during weekend with family or friends

The service is off charts, amazing service and the ambiance is amazing too. I really liked the crab salad, amazing and the cheese pizza. However, the other pizzas arent really good, the onion rings are rock hard, the veggie pizza does not get replaced so its always ice cold, the deserts are good but i dont recommend the caramel. The chocolate cake is amazing tho. Overall, the service and ambiance are amazing, but 31,99$ CAD a person for this food isnt worth it. Id come back tho.

Its a first for me to pay food first before actually sitting down at a table (not counting fast food joints). I like that there was a variety of foods from different countries. Some foods went faster than others, like the seafood ones and the hamburgers. I find people lose manners when food is involved because my kids got pushed out of the way for the adults to grab the food. To get drinks, waiters were passing around, but it took them a while to come to our area.

Nothing spectacular about the food itself except for the odd exception. The best thing about their buffet is the large variety of dishes. Very busy place, but they keep replenishing frequently. I suppose it applies everywhere these days - expensive.

My husband and I showed up for a romantic dinner and when we arrived there, (keep in mind that we are not even seated yet) we were asked to pay our bill We didnt even have time to say hello. What is this dubious practice? We don t ask customers to pay before sitting down Honestly! We are told that there will be a second bill for the drinks and the tip with the server. Well, let s see don! We left to go elsewhere. What a lack of class. I dont recommend unless you want to feel like criminals who might leave without paying. Cheeky restaurant!

It was absolutely disgusting! The word is weak. I will never go to such a restaurant again!

I felt like I was in a buffet in Cuba... the employees are in a bad mood and work poorly because they are dissatisfied with their working conditions but we almost feel sorry for them so we say nothing... but frankly, these employees dont live in Cuba and at the price it is, seeing them lower the quality to this point is really bad! They didnt want to make wonton soup so they added a disgusting creamed corn that no one wanted to eat... which is clearly a trick to save work! There was 8 inches of space between me and one of the customers at the next table, they seat people close like that between them to make them uncomfortable and leave as quickly as possible? the restaurant was practically empty.

The food was cold(ish) for the most part. And the foods did not taste good except for the shrimps and the Ceasars salad. Way too expensive for the quality of the foods.

The place where the tour group dines, the waiter s service attitude is very good, and the food is good!

La cuisine était bonne, évidemment beaucoup de choix puisquil sagit dun buffets. Les décors sont beaux, par contre, les plancher étaient très glissants. Lambiance en general était ok, par contre les tables sont très très rapprochées alors il faut avancer sa chaise à chaque fois que quelqun veux passer pour aller à sa place avec une nouvelle assiette.

Every time I went there, I regretted it. Almost everything is fried in oil, with cheap and ultra-fatty and salty meat and fish. No healthy options and even the few salads on the menu are already pre-mixed with unwanted ingredients. Plus, nothing tastes good. And to top it all off, its extremely expensive versus the poor quality of the food. Normally I love buffets, but this one just isnt worth it. I still gave it two stars, because the service is passable and the atmosphere is good, with the decorations of various countries.

It looked like the décor was updated since the last time I was here (which was pre-pandemic). The dining area, as well as the food trays, were kept very clean. Lots of food items to satisfy everyones tastes. Speaking for myself, I maybe liked half the items available. My favourite had to be the steamed sole, and second favourite was the carrot soup. Certain items I found mediocre were the pizza, frog legs, and egg rolls. I was very surprised that the poutine was disgusting. The fries were way overdone, and the gravy didnt taste like gravy. How was this possible, especially since we were in Quebec? Another terrible item was the spaghetti. Not that the pasta was bad; it was the meat sauce which had an almost rotten taste to it. The scallops were fake scallops. They should label it as such (i.e. artificial scallops, or simulated scallops). For the price (somewhere around $35 per person), I really dont think I ate enough to justify paying that again. I will only be going if invited to a special event, like a birthday dinner.

I never ate badly. None of the dishes were tasty. Paying before in a restaurant never seen that. Better to go to McDonalds, its junk but at least its tasty. What a disappointment, I cant believe this kind of business is still in business. If I was able to give a negative star I would have done so. One star is already too many.

Its impossible not to find something you love at this place, there are so many choices. Then everything is hot and well cooked. The only thing is that we pay for our meal in advance and pay the waitress afterwards if we have a drink. So last time, we didnt want to drink anything other than water. The waiter subsequently ignored us quite a bit, our plates were no longer collected and it was even another waitress who brought us water. So apart from this glitch, the rest was very good.

Prices dont match the quality of food anymore. Food can be dry and tasteless on some days, even during weekends. I still enjoy the atmosphere and variety, but dish quality is inconsistent.

Had a disappointing dine-in experience there. Food quality was terrible. We went to their Brossard branch 2 months ago and the experience was amazing. But, this restaurant was an utter disappointment for us compared to what we had in Brossard. Most of the food was over salty. No one was available in the soup station for pho/ Thai soup. The pizza was so hard that it was hard to chew. Most of the food was not cooked fresh at all. Overall, it was not worth-it to spend that much money.

Underwhelming experience. The food tastes so bad, there are no hand sanitizing stations (a must for the number of people touching the serving utensils). The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. the whole experience left me traumatized.

Good selection to satisfy every taste

Very disappointing, without a word, eating it has no flavor, very dry. Far from being as good as before the pandemic. Especially to pay $90 for two its absolutely ridiculous, there was no element of good apart the drink... in short it was DISGUSTING. Its not worth the full price anymore!

Food is awful, tried a little variety, not enjoyable. $90 for 2 people, not worth it at all! I m glad they try to have a variety of foods, however they may be better off doing less and doing it better. If you re looking for buffets there s better options out there, and if you re looking for somewhere to go for dinner you re better off going anywhere but here. Service was prompt, courteous and the staff members were very kind.

Amazing buffet to go to

Welcoming and very friendly staff. The place is big, spacious, clean and well decorated. Family and friendly atmosphere and the children really like it. The buffet is well presented with a variety of good dishes to suit all tastes. I would go back there to try the brunch!

Atmosphere wasn t bad to be around, I went to this buffet on a school graduation trip, a lot of the students who had the mussels had food poisoning the next day, I m currently on day four, and I feel like im dying, nausea, tiredness, headaches, stuffed nose, coughing, mucus, and stomach pain. I didn t find the food too good, the selection was decent though. I had an entire plate of mussels, I left it on the table, while I had a two minute conversation with my friend, whole plate gone, I feel like if they looked down at the mussels, they would tell I didn t even touch them. Overall I think they need to work a little bit more in their sea food department, even the salmon tastes undercooked. (Yes I understand raw salmon is fine to eat in small portions.)

The food at this establishment had good selections regarding restrictions. Though, the restaurant supposedly has multiple dishes from different countries; but I didn t necessarily think that was the case. The food might ve been tasty, but the variety of countries involved were not impressive. Good place.

You must pay in advance before you are seated. This is a great idea and ensures that the restaurant isnt left flipping the bill. As a result, if you have a big group that you are paying for, be sure to have the entire party together before checking in. If not, you pay for who is there, your other guests will have to pay their own. Also, since youve paid for your meal, if you want drinks, you will have to pay as you go. You do get what you pay for. They have an amazing selection and the food is super tasty. You will enjoy your time there. Just now they are very popular so you will have a lot of people doing the same thing.

Best Buffet ever!

FOOD POISONING I was there exactly on April 26, 2024 with my son and my husband. They had lasagna and chicken.me chicken and my son spent the night throwing up my husband couldnt even drive and me diarrhea. $87 for disgusting food! NEVER AGAIN.

We went last week ,I and my family we got food poisoning, its not good idea to return to this place.

Children love the buffet. Prices are quite high for adults, but considering that its free for children, the price is attractive when you come as a family. There is a lot of choice and more and more fresh fruit! Dietary restrictions: There are no peanuts in the products except that the cakes are made outside so they may contain traces. A good international buffet

In all honesty, its not worth it. Big disappointment, its an all-you-can-eat buffet but that still requires a minimum level of quality. The dishes were not seasoned! Absolutely everything or almost everything (the salad was good, but I can make that at home) is commercial. Crab claws and mussels should absolutely be avoided, sushi without much interest, pizza ok basically there are buffets at the same price, much better.

Their new policy of paying before you sit to eat is in effect. That said, every time they hand you the debit machine, it asks how much you want to tip. Very aggravating when youre handed it after every drink you order throughout your meal. If you want a tip, provide excellent service. Dont expect a tip BEFORE any service has been provided. Personally, I tip based on the level of service I receive throughout my visit: am I greeted politely; am I made to feel valued; does my server introduce themselves so getting their attention (if they dont notice me looking around for them), is easier... None of these things happened, so I tipped accordingly AFTER the experience.

It s not what it was 5-10 years ago. The price of entry has become exorbitant. Its a universal and all-purpose restaurant, since theres food that everyone in your group/table likes, but its still very mediocre. Several of the dishes and dishes had no flavors/spices The vegetarian pizza had a lot of pieces of ham inside. Im not a vegetarian, but someone who is might have been very angry and disappointed to notice meat in a pizza dubbed vegetarian... There are hundreds of best restaurants in the area, which prepare plates with love and taste, go there instead.

Yesterday the food was not good. Pay before you enter its a good strategy you dont have choice even when you see the food its not worth it for your 35.00 dinner fee. Meat are dry and hard. Just be aware this buffet its not worth it for your money. We travel for 30mins just to dis appointment our self. Big change at all into negative.

Very large and clean buffets. A convenient place to stay with family and friends. Little kids are enjoying being in this setting. I have been present at three different branch offices and all of them have very high quality. I like the Gatineau Branch because of the staffs that they are hardworking and very polite. The place is built in two floors, which is very suitable for responding to customers on busy days, but the top floor is not suitable for people with small children. The quality of food and desserts is excellent. I love the seafood in this buffet. We have the opportunity to test the food of different nations such as Canada, Italy, Greece and .... Sometimes the festivals of other areas are also held, such as the recent days of the Mexican Food Festival. I fully recommend this restaurant. Im sure you will have hours of enjoyment and enjoy your meal.

Great buffet and amazing atmosphere!

Food was good, but mostly western food. I liked a few selections such as the braised beef and the fried calamari. The snow crab leg was rather hard to get into. Didn t provide necessary tools to help. But the service was great. I personally don t like the open space concept. It does have a few variety of international desserts. While other courses are mainly western and one table of asian cousin.

I have always loved visiting this place, but lately I see that the food no longer has any taste because they use canned products which are generally not fresh and good for health. The DJ fish and shellfish menu is becoming increasingly rare and food for all communities is not offered. Kind kosher halal see others. I hope that this restaurant will do what is necessary to bring people together around a gastronomic pleasure and not just stuff their bellies, we want to appreciate the food, not just eat . So lately Ive been going less and less. In this place. I have other buffet choices in Ottawa.

This restaurant is worth a detour and I will return as many times as possible. I loved the wide variety of dishes available, from meat to fish to chicken, there really was something for everyone. I was surprised that they now make you pay BEFORE you eat. Then, when you order your drink they bring you the bill for it WITH the drink and you have to pay right away. What happened to paying after the meal? How do I decide on a tip? I tip for good food and service. So if they make me pay before, I won t tip. Seems weird

Large outdoor parking lot. Fun interior decor: Greece, Italy, China theme. Beverages are extra except water, coffee and tea which are included. The serving plates were perfectly clean, dry and not worn. Well done. Very warm welcome and staff, clean place (food court and spicn span toilets). We feel welcome. Two stainless sinks with soap are available for hand hygiene at the checkout. Unfortunately their use was at the discretion of each individual. It should be mandatory. Slightly loud music making conversation difficult. The tables for buffet customers were 30% full on Thursday March 7, 2024 for lunch. The food counters were not all full, with the buffet operating at low speed that day or in economy mode. Parents with their good children cleverly took advantage of the free for under 12s . Unfortunately some children did not finish their plates, far too full, I noticed: shameful waste. Foods chosen at the right temperature. Enjoyed General Tao chicken, delicious oriental vegetables (highly recommended), pennine pesto, fried beans, onion rings, mashed potatoes, egg roll, Mexican rice, oriental rice, fried chicken. However, the salmon was overcooked and very tough, which is a shame because it looked really good in its lovely succulent melted dill sauce. The pulled pork was cooked too hard, too stringy like boot laces, bordering on edible. The sushi had a hard, dry outer rice matrix; Their insides however tasted fresh and tasty. I did not take meat cut by a cook on request, being fearful, the quarters seemed sad and abandoned stark naked on their cutting board. I did not try the only 2 soups offered (vegetable or corn). The Greek salad was crisp and fresh. The brownie and vanilla cream were very good, moist and creamy. The crème caramel and pudding chômeur were good. I might return to this restaurant given the overall quality/price ratio. All you have to do is choose dishes discreetly in small quantities first and share the information on the best dishes (fresh and tender) with the others who accompany us and then refill if there is any left, if the staff has added some. Parking: The buffet (and its parking lot) is unfortunately hidden at the end of the Impasse de la Gare Talon; landmark: at the corner of the Lacoste & Landry professional center (large letters): between Bellehumour, and de lHôpital north of Maloney O (route 148).

Phenomenal all you can eat crab. Went exclusively for the crab and had a total of 7 plates before tapping out. I felt as if I was going to grow claws and crab walk out of the restaurant after my dessert.

Verry desapoited, not what it used to be. General Thao chicken was very drab, no spices. The wontong soup was too cooked or almost raw. Chicken ball was way to big and very dry. The cherry sauce barely tasted like cherry. The plumb sauce.. Well tasted like nothing. Egg rolls where over cooked, at least Jell-O tasted like Jell-O. That was good.

Its been about 10 years since Ive been to this establishment. We went as a group of 11. Like any buffet place, when it comes to food, there are favorites and not so favorites. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that wants to enjoy a wide selection at a buffet and we will definitely be coming back again.
