Elegant in Gatineau

For 11$, I got great service and a delicious meal that was above my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone eating in the food court.

Unfortunately there were maggots in the soup. My coworker went back to complain and they said they had no time to talk.. line up was too long. Who else enjoyed maggots?

This place consistently overcharges you an extra menu choice in hopes of Government workers not noticing. Pay attention to your receipts every so often.

A hidden gem restaurant ,got some takeout today and it was delicious and very fresh with lots of flavour, staff was very friendly and happy to serve customers. I will be happy to return for more!

Some of the best quality and value you can get for Chinese food in Gatineau ❤️✨ These days, a single combo meal from a chain restaurant runs you about $20, for less than that, two can dine at Elegant. I find many places I’ve gone to in recent years have too small of portions for the price, but Elegant reminds me fondly of my childhood visits to Chinese restaurants: Actually being full when you’re done. If you are looking for a tasty and filling lunch, don’t bother crossing the bridge to the Ontario side, there’s a hidden gem in Place Du Centre!

Overpriced for the quality, but this is how « Canadian Chinese » tastes so if you like non crispy general tao chicken that’s for you!!! I cannot recommend this place although service was courteous.
