The worst cheeseburger Ive ever eaten, it looked like the patty was cooked last night and the cook just reheated it, instead of cooking a fresh one. The poutine was delicious and the white sauce was the same. First time and last time I eat in this shit hole

A good classic paterie, clean, airy, but above all efficient and cheerful customer service! There is shade, a section protected from bad weather.

When people ask me what I want in my Michigan hot dog, I dont usually specify that I want spag sauce and above all I expect to have it if they charge me the price of a Michigan rather than the price of a steamed hot dog!!!... watch your take-out order carefully before leaving... ... I also had a poutine... several fries were not cooked enough... only positive point: generous portion of cheese curds... it was my first visit and I am disappointed...

Ugh, the portions are small, the beef in the minced meat poutine was a big block overcooked, there was no more bacon, no more cabbage, no more apple juice when we went. The line up was very long too.

Disappointed with the welcome, ordered 2 poutines, the fries didnt taste like water, the hamburger was not cooked red and she had to make me a burnt pogo twice, first visit and last, Ill never stop there, throw almost $30 at the trash

I would say this place is pretty average best. The only redeeming quality is that the staff is incredibly helpful and super nice.

Edit - this used to be my favorite place in Gatineau for fries. I am not certain what happened in the last 8 months or so (besides new staff) but the fries are always hard now. So much so that you can barely poke them with a metal fork (forget about their plastic ones). The first few times I thought it was an anomaly. Nope, its a new thing. As much as I once preferred them to their competitor down the street, I am going to switch from now on. Excellent brown gravy for poutine. All around great food Edit - But if you are going to eat there, the tables are always sticky and extremely gross.

Two employees working the stove while one of the two is taking order. And those mobile order is killing the walking order waited about 20 minutes to put in my order because mobile order keeped on comming in.

One of the best poutines in Gatineau. The pogos are also my favourite here. Service is usually really fast and everyone seems to like working there and theyre really friendly. Parking: Lots of parking in the lot behind.

Good snack. Full to capacity, so food quality was average. My pogos were extra golden on the outside, but the dough was not cooked (oil too hot). The coleslaw in the all dressed burger contained mayo (never seen that in 30 years) and its not great.... The portions of fries and slices are however generous.

This truly is a great place to eat! Best steamies and best poutine ! Brings back childhood memories. I definitely recommend .

Out of nostalgia, and not having come for around thirty years, I am still satisfied with the taste. It s very busy, but the ladies work efficiently and there is a good turnover.

Owners are super rude! We arrived at 7:50 and a lady and an old man came up to the cash and said we are closed we have nothing unless you want fries and i said are you guys able to do poutine and she said noo like we are closed 3 minutes ago in a rude tone.. if you close at 8:00pm then you close at 8:00pm not 7:50pm we wont be back because of how rude she was! Little word of buisness advice you should always be nice to clients who bring you money to your buisness!

5 stars. My brother said this is his favourite poutine in Gatineau and now I know why. The sauce is perfect, not salty, just delicious. Staff was friendly and warm. Excellent traditional Quebec poutine! I will definitely be back again.

One of the best place in Gatineau / Ottawa to try this traditional food (Poutine) so delicious. The plate was so full, they are so generous. The staff work so hard in very hot and Humid small kitchen. I didnt like the way that the owner or manager behave. She gave a very hard time to her staff. I appreciate the hard worker there. But i think the owner should focus more on Health and cleanliness of the place.

A real paterie, the service is very courteous, the Poutine is among the best I have ever eaten! Steamed Hot Dogs are also excellent with Onion Ketchup, Mayo, Cabbage. Thanks to the young woman who served me at the checkout. Today. Despite the reduced staff (2 employees instead of 3) she was smiling and very friendly with the customers! Ive been to Chez Pataterie at Bobs three times now and each time my experience is perfect. Well done! (Pataterie Hulloise from the same company is also excellent)

Nice place to grab a lunch, the staff is excellent! There are outdoor tables and it s heated in winter, it s cool on the other hand the place is very small where we order, we made 5 tightly packed at least its fast and we can get out pretty quickly

The service was really good, price is very reasonable and the staff is very friendly offering valuable suggestions when we wanted to order the family fries. The food is great, the patio is super clean, with traps for the wasps with plenty of condiments on the table. Definitely we will be back and I recommend this place for sure.

I will explain my 1 star to the services the cashier and the 2 guys in the kitchen were great. But why my 1 star and quite simply to demonstrate the lack of staff on a Sunday when all the other snack bars are closed we waited more than 50 minutes before being served outside in the bright sun. The food was super good. But the lack of staff was pitiful. Im sorry for these 3 employees who worked from 10 am to 9 pm...without a break and certainly without dinner.

Its fast food so you know whos on that subject if you want to eat at the restaurant its not the right place. If you want something quick to make, Poutine hamburgers and so on, its a good place and its quite good.

A must have for great food! The portions are generous and the food is made well. You can tell this place is a well oiled machine. The people running it are super friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this place - the food is delicious!

The poutine is disgusting and the hamburgers are really not like before, it tastes like old fat and the hamburger is dry. I have doubts about the meat, but my dog liked it.

Bob Patate used to have a reputation of being very good. They have slipped .the staff was inexperienced. the quality was awful .the poutine what to say..Fries OK .sauce was watered down .tasteless and cold .which means the cheese was not melted and rubber like.had a hamburger that was thrown together and soggy .your reputation is in the past .wont be going back

Je vous suggère d appeler avant de vous déplacer. On s est fait fermé la porte au visage à 6h45 parce qu ils fermaient à 7h, alors que sur Google l heure de fermeture était 8h. Je voulais simplement une frite. L employé était très arrogant. Il y a d autres bon casse-croute autour avec un meilleur service clientèle, encouragez un autre restaurant .
