Today, I wanted to eat shawarma when I left here, I was charged for a mixed Shawarma dish at $28 and a few cents ..I know that not even 3 km in Ottawa, I eat the same dish at 18 $ and a few cents why a difference of $10 for the same product Knowing that shawarma in Ottawa, I find it appetizing and with a better taste, - I also have a remark: the taste of beef has a weird taste.... And on the chicken are there black marks?

I have been a customer for several years but this evening I experienced my first disappointment... There was practically nothing in the 3 sandwiches I bought. In my plate which is usually very full it was the same observation.

Lots of pros and no cons. -Great portions easily sharable 2 /3 per plate -delish and fresh everytime and I go often -loads of options ..my shout out is the beef plate they use real beef none of that donair stuff. -unique sauces to chose from for everyone my personal fave is harissa. -always clean dining area and lots of space even a patio in summer. Destroys every other shawarma place by flavor and quantity just great they deserve the success . Only downside is they are always busy so can wait long during lunch.

I dont really make any reviews usually but Ive heard this place was good so gave it a try and I eat alot of shawarmas at different places and this place today was a real dissapointement the beef shawarma I got wasnt good at all honnestly. I almost threw it out but was hungry so had to eat the same. The meat was rubbery and hard, the cook put to much turnip and pickles in it so the balance of the shawarma was not it. It destroyed the taste of everything and didnt like the sauces in it cause he said ill do it the lebanesse way without any detailed got rushed to the cash so didnt see anything being done at the shawarma at all turn and the shawarma was cold right after being served and the salad didnt taste good at all very bland taste on both items. They gave me the salad first to rush me to the cash and afterwards take a thing to put the food on it without telling me at the start so couldnt see how the food was made i dont know not to professional should stay with the customer threw out everything till the cash and explain a bit more especially for new client.

Their meals are really good and the prices are very reasonable compared to big fast food chains.

A 25% off coupon that is marked order online can only be used at the location. I find this a really sad situation because we often order online. This kind of thing is called false advertising. Furthermore, we received it with our last online order and the delivery person didnt mention anything.

The food was absolutely delicious, with the juiciest chicken and meats I ve ever tasted. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was equally amazing, the team was professional, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly. All my guests were thoroughly impressed and kept commenting on how fantastic the food was. Thank you so much to Ali and his team! This event will be remembered! I came here today, the staff were so friendly. Very nice and relaxing vibe sitting outside in the tent area. Food quality was great. They have several different garlics, and I love garlic!

TL;DR: Institutional and it knows it. You know when you walk into a place and you can tell its been there forever? When I walked into Palais Libanais for the first time, there was a thick air of smoke - hopefully from the food. You look around and see people whove clearly been coming for years and theyre set in their ways. This is Shawarma-ville though! I could hope on the 50/5 and be knee deep in shawarma in 10 minutes or less! I ordered the mix plate all dressed and a falafel sandwich for good measure. The sandwich was expertly crafted. It didnt fall apart, it had a lot of falafel which I love but the flavours didnt sing together. It was kind of bland which, it turned out, was a theme. The plate was sizeable with a good amount and division of meats, rice, potatoes, and salad. Each thing kind of tastes like the others except the meats which were juicy and tender in their own ways. It wasnt just because everything is in a clump though... Every shawarma place does that - remember shawarma-ville - this was just okay. I was disappointed that at $24 a plate and $7.50 a sandwich, I didnt get more flavour. I would gladly have sacrificed quantity for quality. That said, the people were lovely! Everyone was friendly which you dont always get at a shawarma place. They seemed happy to be there doing what they do well and for that I was happy too. I probably wont be back but Im really glad I went.

Simply amazing, they even put up with my terrible french. We were hungry, nothing else was open and found this gem of a place. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed. There was even a Lebanese guy in front of us raving it was the best he had outside of Lebanon.

A little disappointed with my take out order of family chicken dish. Container half full, Dish not even full. Not enough food for 4 adults. Little salad, little dressing, only hummus and garlic sauce have regular portions. Sorry, but for the price, Im not going back there again.

I used to like going to this place until I realized the food was overpriced and the service not good. It can be very slow and there have been several visits where the staff dont pay attention and mess up the order. The food is good, thats the only upside, but the long wait and poor service are bigger cons for me.

Very poor welcome, refused to serve the salad I ordered in the way I wanted it. The food was dry because it refused to put the sauce, despite offering to pay extra. Customer service is very unsatisfactory. I dont advise anyone to eat at this restaurant.

A good chicken dish

We used to eat here frequently but havent gone back in a long time and wont go back either. Prices have gone up too much relative to the portions that are becoming smaller and smaller on the platters. The quality of the beef appears to have gone down as the last few times we got it, it was inedible. What was once great value and great portions is now just another overly expensive fast food place that has become stingy.

I have just visited the Lebanese Palace in Hull. Best plate in town; unparalleled service. The icing on the sundae? Montassar who welcomes us so well and always serves us with a smile. A1 over the entire line.

I ate the chicken plate and everything was excellent! Large selection of desserts and drinks. Very fast service and nice atmosphere with music (which I imagine is Lebanese).

Best place in town to eat Lebanese cuisine! The service is impeccable, the employees are always in a good mood, the volume of the music is always a step higher than the other place, which gives a good atmosphere. I live in the countryside and we dont have this type of restaurant, every time I come, its impossible not to stop there!

Food is pretty good but I ordered the family plate that feeds 4-5 people. They kicked me out of the restaurant and told me Im not allowed to eat it there. What kind of restaurant does that to its customers? Secondly because I ordered the family platter they wouldnt give me spicy garlic without paying extra which makes no sense. If I ordered a normal sandwich or platter they would give me spicy garlic. Very disappointed with customer treatment and cheapness.

Palais Libanais is one of my favorite restaurants for their Chicken Plates. If anyone has had Shawarma Palace in Ottawa, then you can expect the same portion size (very ample), quality, and taste. Delicious! My favorites are the Chicken or Mixed (Chicken and Beef) Plates. Each come with humus, rice (white and/or yellow), fried seasoned potatoes, fatoush salad, garlic sauce, and 2 pita breads. The portion size will usually feed myself and my wife, but a man with a huge appetite might be able to finish it, but I cant finish one on my own. If you get the beef, ask for it lebanese style and they grill it with a very flavourful parsley mixture that really takes the taste up a notch. And adding tahini sauce to the beef or chicken can be tasty too, if you are a fan. There are quite a few other options. Kebabs you have to wait a while for simce the meat isnt already cooking on the rotisserie like the chicken and beef shawarma. Shawarma sandwiches are also very tasty. They also have oil or creamy salad dressing for the fatoush salad. Try them both out, and decide which you like best. I prefer the creamy one, but both are always good. Also be sure to load out with all the toppings. The pickled turnips are a must, even if you arent a fan of turnips. Trust me, the shawarma flavour profile goes up to 11 with turnips and pickles added to the mix. Ive eaten at at least 30-40 different Shawarma restaurants in Canada and abroad, and Palais Libanais is in my top 3 favorites. Enjoy!

Very very disappointed with the taste of the meats...I dont understand why people are so addicted to it...On Gréber next to the Subway, there are some extraordinarily GOOD donairs, why have you tried this Lebanese Palace? The person with me thought we were going to have a good time already and she thought that was WHERE I normally went.. NOPE error! Were not going back there...
