Very disappointed with the kitchen yesterday I had the fried fish its taste a little bland missed a little dassesonement even the tomato sauce of the spaghetti we would say canned sauce bland tartar sauce very disappointing

Lasagna has unfortunately disappeared from the menu. It was really delicious and affordable. Each dish increased by several dollars each.

Had the Caesar with calamari. Calamari was so oily I had to throw it up. Food : 1/5

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff

Comparing to our previous experiments there, the foods we ordered had less quality. Staff were not friendly. I recommend going somewhere else to eat rather than spending your money there.

We reveived a good service.... but a very disapointing price/quality ratio for the food.

The escargot and poutine were really good! Calamari was a bit greasy. Waiters were very friendly. Overall very much enjoyed this place.

I have to say the worst service Ive had at a restaurant in a long time, food came out fast but was dropped off at the table then waited 10 minutes for them to come and see if it was good nothing. I had to go to the bar where there was 2 or 3 managers and ask if they could find my server another 5 minutes then someone showed up,needless to say I would never go back and the best part there was only 3 other tables eating at that time. So there is an update, I called to talk with a manager about my sad experience at this restaurant left a message twice with the manager and guess what they dont return calls now I see what the real problem is, if management doesnt care then why should the workers.........

We went to dinner on a Saturday evening for a birthday. We waited in the casino for 1 hour 05 minutes. Be sure to receive the text message confirming just after your arrival that you are on the waiting list. The food was excellent. The service was okay. When I called before, I was told that the birthday person would receive a piece of cake. Even though I mentioned when ordering and again after the meal that we were there to celebrate a birthday, the waiter didnt bring anything and he didnt even wish the person happy birthday.. he didnt didnt offer us coffee or dessert either. Its a shame and I wonder if anyone will read this review and offer us anything to make up for this inconvenience

Last night, we went to dinner at Bistro Banco, located inside the casino. We were hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but we loved our experience. The meal was delicious, the service fast and impeccable, and what can we say about our server Frédéric who served us with kindness and professionalism. We will return there for sure.

This evening very disappointed Firstly it is really very cold. I waited 45 minutes to be told by the hostess that its been 30 minutes since he called me and not very smiling at the moment. My phone was on the machine with sound. No calls and no texts.

Outdated decore, service is dry even when bot busy. The worst part is the food. If you enjoy eating don t bother. Tastes like hospital or school cantine food. Don t bother trying the escargot, it s shocking. Honestly got better food from a sketchy food truck in Rideau street.

Service is always fast and friendly. Bilingual staff and menus in French and English. I got dessert before dinner. Greatest idea ever.

They sat us near the pass so my partner was constantly being bumped. We also had the luxury of watching janitorial staff going to and from with full carts of garbage. Thats not great either. Likely not even sanitary that close to food. The steak I ordered was undercooked, not seasoned at all and not trimmed. It felt like it was cooked cold as well, judging from the texture. My baked potato also came with no butter and more microwaved than baked. Oh and the steak basically chewed like a worn boot and tasted less than appetizing than that. The fish and chips my partner ordered was clearly frozen pre-battered fish just tossed in a fryer. The price was ludicrously high for what it was too. As for the service, when a friend asked if there were specials, the waiter basically scoffed at the idea. I would not recommend it. Considering its inside of a Casino, youd think theyd actually....try. Id rather eat chewed gum from the underside of a slot machine being ridden by the same person for the last 21.5 hours hoping for a jackpot.

Good food and price was ok.

The quality of your food has really gone downhill in the last few months. We noticed some decline last summer but now youre hitting the bottom of the barrel. It is obvious that being the only affordable restaurant available at the casino, no more effort is put into the quality of what is served. Inadequate cooking, questionable choice of ingredients. Where are all the little wonders that we found at your place in the past? Fortunately your table staff is always friendly which saves you a little...

Food has been inconsistent lately but I love what they offer and the ambiance from the casino. Im not a big fan of their very reduced menu for groups of 10+. Parking: Shared parking services with the casino. Kid-friendliness: Kids are not allowed as this is inside the casino.

I really enjoy coming here. The service is fantastic and I m a big fan of the club sandwich. The dinner buffet gives you lots of good options at a reasonable price. This restaurant offers a great variety in its menu, free parking, great service and entertainment right below in the casino.

Miss the brunch buffet please bring it back in weekends

Waiter very friendly and the chicken wings were the best I ever had. Very big, and the coating is light with a tiny kick. Will have them again.

Ignore the low reviews, it s just people salty the buffet is gone. The dine-in menu and service was excellent. Prices were reasonable as well. I would eat here again.

I tried thier chicken Sandwiche club and Calmari and it was really good. Fair Prices. Vegetarian options: They have few vegetarian options. Parking: They have a bug parking lot for the casino but all the close spots are always taken. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is inside the casino 3rd floor. The casino is wheelchair accessible and then you can take the elevator to get to the restaurant.

Went for a quick lunch as we were able to attend a wedding at the hotel Hilton Lac-Leamy. Had a few drinks with friends and the food was great! Best poutine weve ever had! Adriana was our waitress and she was so quick! Thank you for the great service!

The food is good, but Im giving one star because I came here for my boyfriends party to eat the Poutine as he loves poutine. We decided to invite his family to celebrate and there were 10 of us. As there were 10 of us, we were not entitled to the original menu but to a reduced menu for groups. By reduced, we are talking here about having access to almost nothing from the original menu, only 5 choices. Thus shattering why we chose this restaurant. Very disappointed with this policy. I would never choose this restaurant for groups again.

July 23, 2022 at 5:29 p.m. The welcome from the hostess was perfect/ I noticed that the waiter said the same sentence to everyone. we tell him that we are ready to order, He replies: Ill start with the drink and Ill come back to you for your order. during this time he serves tables and charges other customers. we expect a good 15 -20 minutes. after receiving the drink. the same scenario. another wait, we receive a shared salad and leave, at the end of the entry passes and says: well now I will advise to prepare your order. I thought he had ordered everything, but no we have to wait again. What can we say about the Caesar salad, 3-4 small cubes of lagoons and a hint of oil, no flavor for the price. And the poutine is all shared, yes its true its for 4 people yes its tasty but really too much brown sauce everything is brown on the plate, we have to look for where the pieces are hiding of meats.

The food was amazing but I had to wait too long to get my dish. Also Denis the waiter was a very rude person, demanding a tip when I didnt want to leave it because of the waiting. I am pretty sure that he wouldnt dare to speak like that to a man. We were 4 women.

Usual bistro food. However, its pretty decent for what it is. I enjoyed their poutine and the angus/pull pork burger. I would say, the service was very good and friendly.

I went here for my bachelorette party, and DO NOT GO if you are a large group. They have a set menu for groups of 8 or more, but didn t at any point tell us this when we tried to make a reservation (which they don t do Saturdays), when we put our names down or when we ordered. It was only after when we saw ppl ordering poutine and other tasty items that we asked why that wasn t on our menu and we were informed why. The wait was over 45 minutes for our salads, the wait staff was super rude, they would try and take out plates before finished and acted frustrated whenever we had a request. They also set out table for one less, made no attempt to fix it and we just pulled in an extra chair to our table. At bill time, my bill had a different price (lower than the rest of my group) but my food order listed. The waiter went to get a machine but handed it back with double my original bill price, when I asked why and that he honour the price listed he said no that it was a set price and that the error wasn t my bill . Food was tasty but def not worth the experience, do not recommend and wouldn t go back at all.

We were a group of 10, and were not told we would have to order from a fixed three course menu. It wasn t until we saw other patrons with different food items that we asked the question. One person in our party didn t want a large meal, and was told she was not allowed to just order a cocktail.The service was horrible. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for the first course. Servers very unfriendly, taking plates away without asking if we were done.

What a lousy restaurant where to start? First of all, Claude, our server, ordered some people at the table to leave due to COVID-19 despite having had a table set up especially for us. Then, subsequently, his role as waiter was very unpleasant. In summary, our lousy waiter managed to ruin our evening, which put an end to our stay in the Lac-Lémy casino. Fish and chips very good

Beautiful evening. There were 6 of us and we all loved our dishes. Specially the steak fries and poutine. Good portion, normal prices. Unlike other posts, probably the same gang, we really appreciated the server Claude.

Very mixed experience. We were a group of 8. The waiter Dennis who took care of our table was very pleasant and attentive. Nothing to blame him for. Our good dishes, on the other hand, were served to us (I would say violently placed on the table) by an execrable lady. She, through her violence, spilled the sauce from my neighbors dish which spilled on her dress. Result: a stained dress good for dry cleaning. She barely apologized half-heartedly and without a smile. Fortunately, one of the managers came back to us and offered to reimburse my neighbor for the cleaning costs. The commercial gesture was appreciated. Some time later, the same waitress dropped, with a deafening noise, all the dishes she was carrying, splashing the jacket of an elderly customer in the process. Karma when you hold us! In short, to conclude, if she didnt want to work, she should have simply stayed at home!

Well I never got an opportunity to eat there as an overzealous security guard asked my two sons for ID. It seems he felt they looked under 18. My older son, 27, is in the military, 6 feet tall and has a full thick beard. My 22 year old, looks the same. Funny thing is, they both looked substantially older than the guard. Now, as I didnt get the number of this restaurant from the internet, I didnt know an ID card might be required. In fact, I didnt know this restaurant was inside the casino. I called to make a reservation and was not told about the ID card and if youre sitting for a minute listening to voicemail jibber jabber theres also no mention of the ID card requirement either. I dont frequent casinos, so I had no idea. The reason we were turned away is my 22 year old was a passenger in the car and didnt think it necessary to bring his wallet. So on Xmas day, with my older son leaving for his medic military training in a few days for a year, we had to find another place to share of meal on Xmas day, all thanks to a overzealous mall cop who looked like he wasnt old enough to shave. So in closing, Ill never go there, besides, at 35 bucks a pop, Id recommend where we did finally end up, Tutti Frutti, with amazing food at a fraction of the price off Boulevard des Allumetieres.

Went to the 2 for 1 Italian buffet night. For $13+tax+tip each, its not too bad. Selection is kind of limited and dont go there expecting amazing food.

This is the place to be for many reasons. Sociable bartenders, good selection, and there is the cigar lounge next room over foe aficionados. Great selection overall, including Cubans. The cigars are well seasoned in the humidor. Sampled many, and they all burned well. Then sampled a few more - and the only thing left wash ashes.

I havent been back to this restaurant for a while. Tonight I decided to drop by with my friend. The quality of the food is excellent and the service also great. Price is very reasonable. I will definitely come back.

Its probably the worst buffet in town. Extremely limited choice. Two kinds of meat...I should rather say 2 kinds of fat with a little meat....Dla cold pizza..Overcooked fried potatoes...The service....Ouff well come back. The waiter pushed us to leave or at least made us feel like we had to hurry up when we still had our plates... He even took away my fork when I had things left on my plate and I had a glass of water by hand. It s even become a running gag between us. Ive never seen that. First and last time. For a casino.... The dessert variety is breathtaking. The desserts are not horribly sweet and will satisfy even the pickiest of palates. These desserts are worthy of the greatest French cuisines. They are all as delicious as each other and they are very refined. The food is also of a quality that you dont often find elsewhere. The dishes have a decent quantity for a decent price. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you know how to appreciate high-end desserts, this is a must-see place.

Dinner for 2, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We took the buffet for $29. Excellent seafood chowder, 2nd choice that I forget. Excellent variety for salads including large shrimp (delicious) and salmon tartare (very good), ribs, chicken wings, salmon, roast beef, pizza, tortellini with white sauce, and so on because I havent tasted it. Side dishes of rice, mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables and more. Affordable wine list, choice by the glass, half bottle or half liter. Desserts in small portions to taste several. Service (wine and clearing empty plates, which were numerous,) excellent. All in all, excellent value for money. very good for a buffet, everything was hot. Of course its not as refined as an a la carte menu but you wont be disappointed if your expectations are based on a buffet.

The food was fair for the price, the atmosphere considering we went at 11pm was actually really nice. We went for our honeymoon and decided to come for dinner. We were sat at our table and the waitress let us know she would be right back, so for a while we sat with no drinks, at first the waitress was cleaning tables... then we noticed she was at the bar starring at the tv. The service at that point wasnt actually that bad we ordered and appetizer and it was brought to our table promptly. How ever when our dinner arrived, I got a beautiful plate with an incredible looking MASSIVE burger. It was the El Blanco, witch is stuffed with cheese curd and other delicious ingredients. I was STARVING so I went to go and chomp right into this masterpiece! Unfortunately as soon as I bit into it all of the now liquid cheese came LAUNCHING out of this burger and all over my hand... now being cheese it didnt just drip off like hot coffee or soup! It significantly burnt my hand! Now this was frustrating but totally my own fault... how ever when I went to the bar (because our waitress was seldomly seen) I asked for a rag with some ice, another waitress sujjested i go see the casino nurse so that i might be able to get a burn spray applied, I said sure assuming I could go down after me and my wife enjoyed our dinner. I went and sat down again at our table and robocop in a suit comes and comes to ask.me what happend and if I need medical attention (i felt like i was being interrogated) I feel like they just assume after 10 pm that everyone is incredibly intoxicated witch we were not as we just arrived. I was forced to spend 10 minutes IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MEAL filling out paperwork because I didnt want medical attention. Why this couldnt have waited until after i ate was frustrating and also incredibly embarrassing in front of a resteraunt full of people. By the time he finally left my fiance was done her dinner and now I had a chance to eat mine. Through out all of this the only time we saw the waiter was when she came and asked if I just wanted to take the burger home no remorse or even asking what happend or if theres anything she can do. Upon getting the bill, there was no compensation what so ever for the debacle or even an acknowledgement that it even happend. A frustrating and painful experience all around. Service was great, as for the food , selection was minimal and geared for seniors . Where to start, greasy chicken drummettes,( who serves drumsticks?) cold pizza, fish dishes , everything was over salted and quite frankly not good at all . For $29 pp certainly not worth it and will never go back nor recommend to anyone.

Excellent in every way

We use to love this restaurant but now the service is absolutely horrible (not even worth one star). We went for the evening buffet and regretted eating there. It is very unfortunate because the food is excellent, nicely prepared dishes, lots of seafood and great desserts. However, the restaurant is very noisy, has the feeling of a high school cafeteria, and again I can not emphasize how bad/slow/rude the service is. If you want to have your evening ruined by a disappointing and expensive meal, this is the place to go ($125 total for 2 adults, better spent anywhere else!)

PS, if you take the Tout pour tout poutine, its a portion for 3-4 people. But it was good lol

Food is always perfect on 100% , staff are fast and professional

The buffet definitely lost its reputation. I went there last Saturday night after many years since last time, and the buffet selection was a lot smaller, and meat was dry and at room temperature. I saw the majority of people opting to order from the menu. Its definitely not worth the price. for the same money, youd better off eating at the hotel restaurant.

Food quality has gone severely downhill along with the service. Thankfully I won at slots after a very disappointing brunch or else this review would likely be 2 stars. Simply not worth it when there are so many better brunch places in the city. Avoid for sure, nothing like it used to be.

Prices are fair, atmosphere is nice and the thing I came for was beast: All-In Poutine. A 1kg monstrous pile of fries, gravy, cheese curds, ham, pulled pork and the works. I also enjoyed the all you can eat soup and salad bar.

Ive eaten here three times as there is not a lot of options within walking distance. The prices are definitely fair, probably on the inexpensive side. The food is ok. Id say several steps up from a cafeteria, but somewhere between 3 and 4 star food. The salmon was tasty. Nothing mind blowing. The poutine was good but probably not 20$ good. I didnt try the onion soup but my friend raved about that. Lastly, the salad buffet is good for a run or two. There are Asian style put-it-together-yourself soups which are fun. You can make a pho/ramen type of concoction. Of course, theres a standard salad bar. Just your basic salad items. Our server was really good and we enjoyed his chatter. Hes been there nearly 20 Years so they have loyalty going for them. Ill probably be forced to eat there again as there isnt much choice unless you catch a cab out. 3 stars is about right.

The only thing I liked was the company and my wine. We were served by unsmiling people wearing orange construction jackets as a means of pressure with posters: we want a good convention. For $27 the buffet was not worth the cost. Almost no choice! Also, we had to leave the table to make way for the regulars and there was no one waiting. I will go there again!

Went with my family to celebrate my dads birthday. I was not very hungry but my family was so I only ordered the shrimp tacos and a beer. As a lover of spicy food, the tacos were very appetizing! My mom had the veg pizza and it was also very delicious! The server - Marcel - was awesome. He was to the point and had a great sense of humor. They even gave my dad a birthday cake slice on the house. Would definitely go back!

Forgot to book a reservation in which in this restaurant is a must since it is very busy at dinner rush hour. Just waited an hour then another 15mins... I am patience to quench my hunger but my experience in this case was the buffet section, what the hell happened?... Its been awhile since my last dine here well to honest it had shrunk and the quality is at below par. I gave it 3 stars since i did not try their sit in menu but i overheard and saw the next table was appetteasing a la carte... Next time i will order from the menu... Buffett never again for that price...

I am surprised the ratings are so low. We went for the dinner and it was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Food was replenished fast. Good quality, and the price at $29 per person was reasonable. Free parking. Highly recommend this. But make a res ahead of time.

We were very well received and very well served by smiling and friendly staff. For food, I opted for one of their choices of pulled pork poutine. I wasnt expecting great cuisine but it was good. The problem was with the temperature of the dish. Everything was cold (not lukewarm but cold), fries, sauce and the pork too. The other dish ordered was a Caesar wrap which was very good.

Best restaurant for brunch in the Gatineau region. Plus not hearing children screaming while I eat lunch and a plus!

I only ate the pouding chômeur here, but it was fantastic!

I always come here for holidays with my family and we get the buffet, its one of our favourite places to go together. Unfortunately after our trip yesterday for Easter I dont think so Im a vegetarian which means there arent many options, but Im happy with the ones they do have, its no big deal. I asked one of the waiters if the potato salad had any meat in it and he said no, for sure not because they would have labeled it if there was meat. Guess what happened when I took a bite? Big piece of bacon in my mouth. I was disgusted, mortified and so upset When I brought it up to my waiter he just said oh sorry and walked away. What if I had an allergy? I would have been in huge trouble. Dont answer my questions if you dont know the answer for sure, just ask someone else. Im so upset.

Good food and most of the times good service.

Served me a raw burger. When I requested a cooked one I was told they cannot or will not cook it to well done. As my dining companions were finishing their meal the staff asked if they can make me something else, after I watched everyone else at the table finish their meals. Horrible experience, I ended up going to Harvey s nearby where they actually cook their burgers. 0 stars.

Buffet is a bit expensive for the price.

Our food came super fast, within 5 minutes.. which was weird because they were fairly busy. We waited longer for the cokes we ordered. Sadly, this meant my fries werent all properly cooked, (the ones on the bottom werent cooked at all.) The unfortunate combination of BBQ sauce and gravy on the pulled pork poutine was such a disgusting combination that I actually had to leave the casino with an upset stomach. I dont think Ill ever be able to eat there again.

The food was great! The service was quick and the staff was very attentive. You should try the mussels cooked with beer, they are awesome! The fries are good also. The menu is not that expensive and theres also plenty of good choices. If you are at the Casino and wonder where to eat, I highly suggest this place!

This review is specifically for their Sunday brunch! Compared to any other Sunday brunch, this is the best quality of food, service, and price!

Fast and friendly service and very good food. The soup and salad buffet is actually worth it....make your own PHO !
