Basic food menu, nothing fancy, but tasty well prepared plates that hit the spot. Service is impeccable, our waitress was attentif and focused to our every needs with a smile. We came in at the same time with a large group of 10 , and were a bit apprehensive but the food came out boom boom boom and delicious!
Staff were fantastic. Manager made an amazing cosmo. Super friendly! Mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had.
The staff was amazing all of them especially Yassin and Patricia, very friendly and lovely also the other ladies I forget there names. Hamburger is very tasty. Breakfast also but I think they should add more Omlet, cheese some tomatoes olives for the morning menu. Anyhow it was very nice memories
Ate here 5 out of the 7 days here, had a great breakfast buffet every day. Thanks to my server she was also so nice.
L’Ardoise has recently revamped its menu. I stay here for work regularly. One evening I ordered the L’Ardoise salad and the Papparedelle w/ shrimps. The salad had a variety of vegetables and fruits; it was ok but I wished the dressing had had less mayonnaise. The pappardelle was better. Another night I picked its ok version of French onion (and leek) soup, and then the vegetable pizza, which looked artificial but was not bad. On a third night I tried the disappointing Fish & Chips: good fries, awful fish fillets; no vinegar or tartar sauce came with it, only mayonnaise, ketchup and a chipotle dip. The following week I ordered the rigatoni bruschetta with chicken: the portion was quite large, flavor was nothing memorable but the chicken was impossibly dry. On the first night the table was sticky and the service was rushed, but the rest of the times table and service were good.
Friendly staff and good price ranges. Big portion and tasty food
Obviously this place has improved in the past few years. Stayed for four nights and ate there the whole time. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. The Beer onion soup and pepperoni pizza were especially good. All desserts were excellent, especially the strawberry cheesecake that is served in a jar!! Friendly staff and good choice of beers.
Good food, friendly staff, liked the ambiance. Not sure why other's weren't satisfied I've had two full suppers here now and both were excellently served, presented, and tasted great.
The service was slow despite a few customers, the old lady who acted as a waitress slammed the cabaret in front of me just before I sat down. It took almost half an hour before the other, slightly less inadequate waitress came to take my order, which is very ordinary for a hotel restaurant. The dance music borders on okay. The lady who talks to herself constantly and often against customers quite loudly behind the bar. The poutine changed its name to Ardoise. Good price, very good format: homemade fries, Quebecois cheese doesnt mean much, it must be the St-Albert, the cheapest...I had to say three times that I didnt have finished to keep him from taking my plate away...the green peas were fresh, the grilled chicken was good. The lady who talks to herself all the time, its heavy that she improvises as a waitress, the rotten joke of shooting a customer with a degreaser: no!!... Hearing her sings the old waitress as if she were in her living room: its really heavy, very heavy, she picked up a bill bag, once again she slammed it there a few centimeters from me, I didnt invent this place, no respect for customers, she disturbed one customer by shouting at the other is that table 44?? Even at Stratos the service is more civilized!! The two waitresses believe they are from one end of the bar to the other. The brown sauce is so bland, it tastes like water. The cook complained about the slow wifi to the old lady who held the kitchen door open, he didnt have any orders. The old lady stops close to me to pop a bag of tea while watching TV... Fairly minimalist menu, only two choices of dessert and only one choice of soup, salmon today, Im allergic to it, so no soup :( The receptionist came back after an hour for her sandwich, still not made... there are at least two in the kitchen: VERY not in a hurry, nor stressed, unlike the waitresses Apple tart, a small, very well cooked tartlet, served steaming topped with lines of caramel, very loaded with cinnamon, visibly homemade, very affordable, however I have difficulty understanding why it took twenty minutes from the moment the waitress served it. walked into the computer. The old lady seems to have flu symptoms, she is coughing and clearing her throat, I saw her pulling up her pants in the dining room. Without the burnt edges, the apple pie would be delicious. Bilingual service.
Terrible service, I didnt believe it was possible to have such a bad waitress. Perhaps his training was deficient but it is still unacceptable for management (if it exists) to let such incompetence go. For example: Bringing the bill while I have half of my burger (almost good) in my hands and 3/4 of my beer still in my glass because I had to order it twice. There were only three tables occupied for two waitresses. ... Anyway, order a pizza and stay comfortable in your room!
During a family stay at the hotel, we had dinner at the restaurant on the last evening. The food was adequate but the service left something to be desired. Our server was courteous, but not affable. Even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, he was not proactive in coming to see us. They also gave us bad information regarding the current Marriott Bonvoy promotion. In terms of atmosphere, there wasnt really any. Empty and silent.
Maude was very sweet and attentive.. Food was good.. Food
Food was ok. Service very good. The restaurant was full so it took a while but it wasnt a problem.
Standard hotel buffet that would be included in any other hotel stay. Really bland, overcooked rubbery eggs, stale pastries. Way overpriced for what it is and the poor quality. Somehow not included in the hotel stay. Vegetarian options: None offered. Some old soft fruit and underripe melon. Only protein option is the rubbery eggs.
We went for breakfast. Started out okay but had to ask for cream for coffee. Then things began to fill up and the waitress was overwhelmed. Food was good, recommend the breakfast casserole, not the pancake. Waitress came when my sister and I were finished eating and asked if we wanted anything else. We said yes, my sons breakfast! Needless to say it was cold, but they served it anyway. We couldnt even get a coffee refill it was so busy. If you go here for breakfast, get here early ir you may be waiting a long time.
I visited this restaurant while staying at the hotel. The service was super fast, food fresh and hot and prices very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Not a super selection of beers or menu items, but good overall.
Amazing fruit side with breakfast. The best Ive ever had.
The service is a little slow, but thats the only negative point I would say. For lunch you have the buffet at $16 or an a la carte menu. I had the buffet and it was quite complete. (Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, real maple syrup, etc.) Maude our waitress was very cheerful and friendly. If youre sleeping in a hotel and dont want to go out to eat, thats more than a good help!
Very good service! A good place to end the evening.
Stomach Pains
Had a great hotel breakfast buffet here. All the usual selections plus a omelet bar! Scrambled eggs were great, bacon and sausage done right and not dry at all. The staff was attentive, polite and well trained. Couldnt ask for better.
Very good burger and fries and happy hour is as they say. Complimentary popcorn. Service was great. My only complaint is the weighted silverware. I felt like a toddler using utensils for the first time clumsy and awkward. Wonderfull.
The service is very fast and the staff super friendly. The dishes are generous and very delicious. The prices are reasonable and it s a great place for a family dinner (very varied children s menu).
Super good food and good service
Excellent meal, attentive and very friendly waiter. I recommend this place!
Friendly staff, very good food, pleasant bartender named Samy. The chef came to see me because I really liked his crab cake. In addition, the restaurant is located inside the Four Points so I recommend it.
18$ fish and chips. Good pricing good size meal. Waitress much more smiling and pleasing on lunch time then evening. I have been several times in the evening and the atmosphere changes dramatically with a waitress speaking slightly abruptly... Lunch time was more relax and welcoming.
Good food, great service
Loved the fish & chip dinner for dinner. Good portions, quality. The service is impeccable at the tables and at the bar and the appetizers from 5 to 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday were super good. THANKS !
Pasta a little overcooked, but with good taste, excellent trout and well-made salad. Very friendly service and normal prices... a good solution when you want to have a late dinner (after 9pm)
Wait too long despite several free tables. We left
Simple breakfast buffet but really good!
My husband and I were staying at the Four Points Hotel and we decided to dine in the closest restaurant since it was getting late. This restaurant was in the main floor of the Four Points. It was convenient and easy to get to, and the waitress who served us was very nice. However, the food was absolutely TERRIBLE. The bread tasted as if it was heated out of a freezer, the soup I ordered was cold, the salad my husband got was dull and not crispy at all. I got a steak for a main and it was the WORST steak I have ever eaten. Absolutely disgusting. It was rubbery and cold and did not have that fresh meat flavour to it. The main dish my husband got was okay, so we shared. It also took them 40 minutes to prepare the meals. I will NEVER be going back to this place to eat. It was not worth the cost and waiting time. Not recommended to anyone who is looking for quality food.
