Really liked the traditional raclette experience.

The raclette was excellent as always.

I went to eat there and I loved the service we received from entry to exit. The staff is really there to welcome you and support you throughout the visit. In short I recommend 100% very delicious

Affordable and romantic and warm atmosphere.

We are very satisfied with our visit to the restaurant and were happy to find something so special in the middle of Canada. It was always ensured that we didnt lack anything.

We went there on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. The waitress was really nice and dressed in traditional Swiss clothing. We chose the all-you-can-eat raclette formula, with an aperitif each. The service was impeccable. The food is excellent and plentiful, especially for an all-you-can-eat formula. The place and the decoration are really great. I recommend.

I live in Laval and every year during the summer I go to this restaurant the staff is super friendly the cheese fondue is excellent the Chinese fondue and these very good sauces and not forgetting the chocolate fondue Its definitely worth the detour

Disappointed me and my family paid 35 dollar each person and we get a horrible experience here the meat taste like plastic they never explained how to cook the meat when they explain to other customer I think it is just because we are Chinese. it is such a garbage experience I will never come here again we reported the problem to the restaurant they just toke our plate and never came back don t come garbage food garbage service.

Wow! What a great experience! It was our first time at this restaurant and we will be back! We loved everything we ate! And the service was perfect. The decor: cute and the atmosphere: relaxed, it was perfect for a romantic dinner. We tried the Italian beef and sc raclette and the garnished cheese fondue. As I am allergic to gluten, we asked for gluten-free croutons and it was perfect. We were able to share our plates, because almost everything on the menu is gluten-free (except the béchamel)! The waitress Maika was super nice and helpful. Even the owner came to greet us and ask if everything had gone well. We recommend 200%! Vegetarian options: Fondues with cheese and vegetables Dietary restrictions: All fondues are gluten-free, you just have to ask for gluten-free bread croutons! This was one of my favorite restaurants and have been going for years but recently and the last time I went, the prices went up, the portions are down especially the meat portion and there is no more salad. Not worth the price now. Will only go once a year as a special treat. So sad

The Swiss fondue was excellent. The raclette was good, but unfortunately it lacked cheese. The waiter didnt come to see us often.

An annual family outing that is always very popular. The place was crowded and the waiters were barely keeping up with the task. The wine chosen was not available (like last year) but the suggested replacement wine was very good. All in all, a very nice evening.

A very welcoming restaurant and staff! Our waitress was always available and quick to help us. The owner of the restaurant came to show us how to use the raclette machine. We got the Raclette du Valais for 2 and it was delicious. We even got to bring home the rest of the cheese we didnt eat. Well be back FOR SURE! Parking: Its part of a mall with lots of parking.

The restaurant could use an update. There were 7 of us at a table for 8 but clearly, with the plates, raclettes, etc., the max should be 6. The ingredients were fresh. The sauces had a dry crust on top. The raclettes made up a good part of our dinner.

Délicieux! When my friends suggested dinner here, I was apprehensive. It ended up being a wonderful time! The food was great and it had a lovely atmosphere with staff in traditional Swiss clothing. We ordered the three-fondue set, which was tasty and filling. Im sensitive to salt, and the food was not at all salty. The restaurant wasnt easy to spot at night, however, as it was unexpectedly in a strip mall and the sign was a bit faded. With that said, its definitely worth another visit and I would gladly recommend it to others. Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Family oriented restaurant. Good for all ages.

The place is terrific, food is delicious, I would recommend the restaurant for everyone, I m from Toronto, came to Ottawa for the Holidays and we find the best place ever near Ottawa in Gatineau.

Absolutely phenomenal.

Always good, especially on Tuesdays for unlimited fondue. The price of the wines is reasonable. The service is courteous. The different rooms allow you to celebrate in a group or have a one-on-one dinner.

One of my favourite restaurants! Atmosphere, staff, and food are all incredible! My parents are regulars, and its my go-to on any and every special occasion! Absolutely love coming here!

Superb service, courteous and respectful. The fondue leaves something to be desired. Indeed, the broth has very little taste and all the foods are relatively bland or the dressing is minimal. The decor is reminiscent of the 90s. For the price, extra effort from the management is required. The absence of direct competition should not be an excuse for not doing better and it seems illogical that a $70 fondue without additions would be dominated by a can of Canton broth from the supermarket. This place has been a treasure of the region, and should become so again.

Unique dining experience. All the benefits of a good fondue to share with family or friends without having to take on the many responsibilities. Somewhat expensive. Providing water should be a basic standard in catering. Here you have to ask.

The decoration lacks ambition. Disappointing quantities for the price. But at least the experience is overall correct. We are in Pointe-Gatineau after all. Dont imagine that this is a CAA four-diamond.

Probably one of the most pleasant restaurants in Gatineau! The atmosphere invites you to take the time you need to celebrate the love of cheese and raclette (among others). The staff is great, the beer is good... Go for it!

I love the little sections they created inside the restaurant, its very cozy and you can actually enjoy a good conversation without loud noises. The service was excellent as were the food and drinks. Prices are very reasonable.

Staff is polite and efficient, everything is clean, the food is marvelous and unlike anything else in thr region. We have especially loved their Cheese fondue! They also have a nicely curated selection of beer from around the world. Very much worth a visit, we have been going for the last 15 years and we will keep eating there :) Vegetarian options: The vegetarian raclette is nicely priced, and the cheese fondue can be a whole meal in itself with the bread that comes with it, ask for a side of baby potatoes for a nice surprise :)

I went with my family for a relaxed birthday dinner! We ordered the package of cheese fondue (bread), Chinese fondue (beef with broccoli, onions, potatoes), and chocolate fondue (dark chocolate with mixed fruits). I was impressed by the portion of meat. The service was great, and no rush at all. We were able to enjoy each fondue serving. The manager also came over to see how we liked it, which was a nice touch.

The food and friendly service is perfect. To be redone more often. The valets raclette is incredible!

Menu a bit complex because for certain items it is a minimum of 2 servings. Excellent Swiss fondue starter. Main meal Chinese fondue and raclette also excellent. The portions were quite generous. A little disappointed with the chocolate fondue dessert which was served to me in a plastic cup. The chocolate tasted more like chocolate syrup than melted chocolate.

Since a babysitter left us at the last minute and we had planned to go to this restaurant, we went there as a family with a child aged 2 and 4 years old.... it was fantastic! Our children appreciate being able to make their choice and arrange them! Big hit for the cheese fondue with the accompanying plate which is worth it! And chicken ham for the children for raclette! Kid-friendliness: They have boosters and small tetra pak juices which are much easier to manage given the number of dishes on the table.

Always pleased when i go there Staff is always very warm and give an amazing service. The food is really good. It makes you feel at home. I was definitely missing going there since i moved from Gatineau , but going back even after 2 years of pandemic; its still as great as it used to be. The portions are good, the drinks are also pretty good. Will be going again soon for sure.

It was a fantastic experience. We had cheese fondue and Nordic raclette and had a lot of fun eating this great food. In addition, the typical clothes, the excellent service of the staff and the interior decoration and spaces of the restaurant make it a place to recommend!

Fondue was amazing. The owner is the kindest gentleman. Great Pinot Grigio, and to top it off we were with best friends from 1800hr to 2200hr.

Our first visit and first time experiencing raclette . We ordered La raclette du Valais and upgraded our cheese to a much older variety. The result? A fun and delicious meal that was absolutely impeccable. Noteworthy presentation, freshness, flavourful ingredients, and variety. The owner/manager took time to chat with us at our table to explain how to best prepare our melted cheese for our charcuterie board items. Our server was friendly, welcoming, cheerful, enthusiastic, always attentive to our needs he was an outstanding host. Bravo

On vacation in Gatineau, we went to this restaurant for dinner. Just, a real delight, a warm welcome from the owner and the waitress. Everything is there, the meal , the decor , the costumes , the little entertainment of the nun with the fondue. Total change of scenery. Go there with your eyes closed. Enjoy your meal

Delightful restaurant decor and very kind service, but the food takes a very long time to come. I waited 1.5 hours for a fondue for one person. They also forgot that I ordered some extras from the menu, which I wasn t going to question after waiting so long for any food to arrive. The fondue was ok, but fairly average. A nice place to visit for the experience, but make sure you allow a lot of time, bring your patience, and enjoy the experience and kind staff, rather than expecting gourmet dining.

Disapointed in the price increase . All on economic issues or excuses prices went up signaficantly and the extras are just ridiculous . Sorry to say i used to enjoy this place a lot but paying an extra 11.99 per plate per extra for 6 shrimps at a time when you are already paying 50 for the supposed all you can eat raclette is ridiculous . The food quality is good . But they are cutting back dramatically on value .

It was my birthday not so long ago and I was craving raclette.... which brought us to Meule et Caquelon. Reservations are highly recommended especially for their special nights (check their menu for weekly specials). The restaurant is pretty big and can accommodate for groups. It has the swiss Alps mark all over it, featuring wood and traditional costumes for the staff. Each table comes with its own exhaust fan, which is not a luxury considering you fundamentally cook/grill everything at your table. Food was fresh and portions were good, from the meats to the vegetables, bread, sauces and cheeses of course. We had a great time and our waiter was super friendly. We will go back for an actual raclette night when they bring a section of a wheel to raclette yourself. Yum!! If you like cheese, I would highly recommend you check out this place! Parking: Lots of parking outside.

I loved the experience. Me and my husband had the 3 fondues and for real wow. Very cute and cozy restaurant but I found it a little expensive but I imagine its because of the quality cheese. Ill go back next time I try the raclette. Only downside why I dont give 5 stars is that the wait was very long, to get our salads in the middle of our meal we waited almost 1 hour, but I understand that they are extremely busy the restaurant was very full. THANKS.

Excellent food! Nothing to say about this. But the service leaves so much to be desired that the experience is ruined.. We went to try the all-you-can-eat fondue on Tuesday, and our experience was nothing but an all-you-can-eat wait. We had to ask for water, and for meat refills for I dont know how long. I had a glass of water in my entire evening.. I have never had such a bad experience like that there. I came away greatly disappointed.

The cheese fondue was delicious, perfectly seasoned and the cheese cracker made with cheese sauce was delicious. The salad between the cheese fondue and the raclette was very fresh and delicious. The raclette was delicious, good variety of meats, the 4 sauces provided were very tasty and the béchamel sauce with the raclette cheese was amazing. The chocolate fondue was also delicious, the dark chocolate went really well with the fresh fruit selection. Overall a great experience and we will return with friends in the near future. Our favorite restaurant, whether with family, friends or just a romantic evening, its the perfect restaurant. The sauces are delicious, the cheese fondue and the fondue broth too! For evenings that you want to eat at home they offer great options for take out! The service is excellent!

Wonderful meal! They brought us out a salad to start with and honestly the homemade sauce was the best dressing Ive ever had on a salad. We had the La Raclette meal and the fondue. Our server recommended a very nice fruity cocktail made with a fruit beer and it was delicious! It was fun to grill our own meats and veggies to our preferences. The staff and owner were very helpful and gave an explanation on how to enjoy our meal with the spices and sauces provided. Wish we had something in the states like this. Definitely a must if you are in the area.
