Best pad thai out of all thai express restaurants

Wait 20 minutes for fried rice... Receive your order realizing that they gave my order to someone else. So they have to redo my order and I have to wait again! No employee involvement, no apology or compensation. Customer service leaves something to be desired.

Pad thai without bean sprouts, lime or peanuts... disappointing that so many ingredients are missing...

I love it but Im sure its not good for you lol .. but fast food when you have a craving .. its great!! And they have gluten free Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options on some dishes but not enough I feel

Poor service more than 30 minutes of waiting for a simple Uber order

Theres pieces of shrimp tail skins in my soup and the whole thing smells foul. Theres also a weird sticky residue coming off of it. I repeat, SHRIMP TAIL SKINS in my chicken Thai soup. Ridiculous. No wonder you all started the pandemic.

I love their pad thai and Tom Yum soups. I have tried other Thai Express but their meals remain the best.

I dont understand why uber eats should come before the customers on site, really disappointing and probably my last time at these restaurants 25 minutes to get my lunch at 7:04 p.m.... Ordinary

Horrible food, 80% burnt rice and taste of cleaning products. Waited 30min for take out in store, staff are unorganized and place is unwelcoming. Will never eat there again.

Do not go there for lunch! The first time it took over 30 minutes to get my food but I figured it might be a fluke so I tried again today and my experience was the same. I waited after 12:30 to let the lunch rush pass and still, after 25 minutes, nobody had taken my order. My lunch break being under an hour, I left and went next door to Subway. The clients before me were furious at having waited their entire lunch break to get their order.

The first time I was sure that this restaurant existed was when I tasted a very very delicious meal bought by my uncle for us to eat. After tasting , I said wow what a specialty. I love it And then, thats how I said to myself, Im going to go and discover the restaurant in question, but the closest was that of Saint Joseph. Without delay, I went to visit and then ordered mine to better enjoy this meal. The name of the recipe is Tom Yum Fried rice I loved. Thank you very much for the service.

They dont care about the quality of the food half the time. Got a wonderful meal for 2 where I had to split my found cause my mums food was trash, she ordered salad rolls, usually she can eat 2, both were so big that they basically contained a side salad each with a single shrimp... Cause Uber wanted pics to return we couldnt get refunded.

Put utensil shouts in your orders, what do I eat my pad thai with? My feet ? For an order at $50 it s the least you can do

Terrible experience and will never be back again. Aside from the missing drink, we also encountered rude lady cashier. We were about to pick-up our online order on the said time which is at 6:57pm (supposed to be curbside pick-up). Me and my husband waited for extra 5min but no one showed up. So, my husband went inside the restaurant to inquire regarding our order and the cashier treated him badly telling him in a not so nice way to just wait because they have a lot of orders. We do understand that its busy and WE ARE WILLING TO WAIT. Were just inquiring but the lady cashier did not even listen to him and acting like she doesnt want to hear anything. We ended up waiting for another 20min. after finding out that our order wasnt even ready for pick-up on the said time. Due to disappointment, we didnt even notice that they didnt give us our drink not until we got home. We could have just ordered directly from the restaurant if this is the case. The lady cashier should have proper training for good manners too.

This is so frustrating. Second time that i showed up when their own site and front door says theyre open and its closed! This time they even took my order and the payment went through my credit card. Very un-professional.

August 2022, new owners have completely changed the dishes, there are no longer any signs displaying the food choices. Limited menu, no more tasty soup, tasteless dish without sauce and without taste (Thai chicken and fried rice). The chicken looks like squishy Chinese balls, the rice doesnt come with enough vegetables. Price $16 overrated. Extremely disappointed, in no way comparable to the freshness of the food before. I will never return to this branch.

Sauce was not mixed with noodles but rather just dumped on top. When my order arrived the noodles had all stuck in over overcooked clump. My order was also made with the.wrong combination of vegetables and my imperial roll had no sauce. I will not be ordering from here again, not worth the price. My advice, stick with the small businesses if you are looking for quality.

August 2022- order made with Uber eats for this restaurant. 3 drivers waited and canceled since the food was not ready, impossible to reach them on the phone, even though on their website they advertise free delivery because of Labor Day... Do not order from this restaurant if you have young children, who you hope to have food for a reasonable hour so they can eat... Really disappointing...

The worst experience ever had for food ordered, all categories combined. I ordered curry rice with chicken. No trace of curry, no taste, the texture of the chicken is disgusting! The worst thing is that it is not possible to contact the restaurant owner. Nobody answers the phone obviously! A word of advice, never order from this address: Thai express at 450 St-Joseph. I give one star because you have to give a rating, otherwise its 0.

Ordered Vegan Pad See Ew for my friend with Lyme disease and there was chicken in the dish. They love playing with peoples live in this establishment and probably think its funny.

They are ALWAYS late. I order online to save the wait, give them an extra 20 minutes past the time their app promises, and STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES. This has happened several times. Will not go back.

Really desappointed. My curi beef was full of mini carrots only, usually its made with broccoli, the tast was not good at all.

Chicken not edible. I went to tell them and the answer I got was that its frozen. Thrown in the trash. The cook left with a piece. Expensive for rice. Because I never received anything!

I ordered my food at 5:10pm. At 5:45pm I asked where was my order and it wasnt made yet. So I waited in front of the counter and they never called my number. I got my food at 6:40pm after once again having to ask where my order was. 1h30min to get some takeout is ridiculous.

The food is simply excellent! The wait time is extremely reasonable for the quality and complexity of the menu. I have never been disappointed.

Food quality is a zero, CONTAMINATED, got me food poisoning. I ordered it through UberEats, and less 1h~2hrs I already started feeling sick stomach pain, and running to the bathroom few times and I don t need to say more details but it s very deceiving. I ll Never order from their again.

Very slow service. Only 2 employees on site and keep taking orders to bring. I had to wait 1 hour to get my meals. If I could have afforded it, I would have left without my lunch.

Ordered through Uber eats, curry with cauliflower rice. They went ahead and charged me for cauliflower rice, but replaced it with normal rice in my meal... But I left them a note about it next time, and they made up for it by replacing my normal rice with cauliflower, so all was good!

Nice and easy location to get to. One downfall is when its busy you have to wait a bit longer than normal. Otherwise the food is good

I had a Pad Saw with two pieces of broccoli and almost no meat (I paid $12 for rice noodles with soy) In addition the staff does not speak French and the lady is not not too nice lol.

Went for takeout, currently no indoor dining. Service was quick enough and the portion size was good. Once taken out of the box and put on a plate it is more than expected.

Made an ubereats order at 2pm to be delivered at 5. Its past 7pm and the food is still not ready....no way to contact restaurant. Horrible will never order from there again.

On arrival, I had not received the correct sauce for my starter and my peanut stir-fry, for which I had paid extra sauce, had no sauce...there were only the vegetables and the meat on rice You are better off ordering elsewhere

Hard to place your order, the menu above is hard to read and decipher. Ordered shrimp and noodles (so I thought) but when I got to my place it was mushroom, chicken and rice. I should have opened the box before I left.

Every single time, I m talking about easily my past 7 orders, it s always WRONG. It doesn t matter how many times you WRITE DOWN that you want a Pepsi and NOT a Diet Pepsi every single time. They need to start to read the orders because clearly they don t care.

Disappointing order. We ordered on Uber and the delivery was pretty quick. However, one of the dishes was different than what we ordered. Well, not too bad, it was still very good. But at the end of my dish, I had to remove a hair from my mouth. It wasnt mine or my girlfriends. It was short and black, and having already been physically at the restaurant, I am convinced that it came from the staff. In short, very good food, but hygiene and attention to detail leave something to be desired.

I find all of Thai express offerings supremely delicious, varied, creatively prepared, bursting with flavour. Real thai cuisine full of flavours and cook to perfection! Shrimp Pad Thai noodles and fried rice is my favourite.

Clean great location.

Ordered Pad Sew with shrimp (double) to stay. What can I say...I love shrimp. Service was very quick even with a lineup of people. Food was excellent as usual. I virtually always get this order. I did, however, ask for spicy. If you like food that bites back, tell them that you want it hot. Comfortable chairs, and, even when they are busy, you can stay a while after the meal.

Manager was argumentative with another customer who came back with an incorrect order, and every order took 45min-1hr to complete. Steakhouses dont even take this long to prepare an order.

2 times in 2 orders that this restaurant made a mistake on an order with Skip the dishes, first order, 2 chicken padthai with a bowl of rice. Result = missing bowl of rice, second order, 2 chicken padthai. Result = missing 1 padthai! Really disappointing!

Extremely slow at lunch time. From cashier to the young cook, they seem to be learning as they serve. I spent 20 minutes to grab a meal that is supposed to be a 10 minutes max in fast food.

Havent eaten out much since the start of Covid so my expectations were fairly high having a terrible hankering for a decent Pad Thai on the go. Thai express Saint-Joseph did not disappoint! The service was prompt and pleasant. The place clean and well setup to allow everyone to keep their distances. My dish was very tasty and had lots of juicy pieces of chicken. Will definitely be back in the future.

Here is why Im giving this business one star: 1.Late to prepare for online take-out orders. 2. The cashier has issues understanding english or french. 3. They charged .75$ for 3 basil leaves and the owner has the audacity to challenge me and explain why hes cheaping out. I regret tipping them 15% in my online order; after such disgusting experience. In case the owner forgot about manners and services, he should go out for change and see that other restaurant not only serve basil by the stem, they also keep it professional when someone asks for more. your next best bet is to go to montée Paiement, street, hoping they understand customer service. *** to the owner (Anna): The least you could have done was working on improving your services instead of giving a cookie cutter apology that is used over and over.

Order completely missed with Skip the Dishes placed Monday August 1, 2020. I ordered a Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp....medium sauce which seemed strong. Extra cashew nuts forgotten, extra egg also forgotten and in addition the shrimps were not completely cooked. I tried to call to report the omission and the employee was not able to help me because I repeated my invoice number 3 times then I gave up. I believe her mastery of the French was limited to hello or hello As I dont speak Thai I hung up.

The slowest service in town. Not based on one visit but the last 2 times I went to pickup an order I had to wait over 40 min.

I used to like this place, and the food is good, however your service has become terrible and I believe your priorities are in the wrong place. I walked in to your restaurant with a long line-up of people which is not the issue. I expected to wait a while for my food but not over 30 minutes. What really made me angry however, was the fact that your staff was prioritizing incoming delivery orders while you had a long line of people in front of you waiting in person to be served. I saw 6 different delivery people come in and have their orders ready for pickup in less than 2 minutes and all of this while I still waited for my food that took over half an hour. The people who come in to your restaurant shouldn t have their priority taken away from them just because someone called in an order. I believe you are mismanaging the priority you are giving to your customers who show up in person. Skip-the-dishes should not mean skip the people in line. Your in-person customers deserve better. I won t be returning.

I mean...it wasnt the worst service Ive had however, there are better Thai Express locations for sure. Its a bit disorganized, kind of slow - but I did get my order correctly and food tasted fine. Id advise to order online for pick-up to avoid long lines, that seems to be the way to go. :)

First visit on a lunch break (oops here dinner) of just one hour. Fast service, delicious and plentiful dish! we were able to ask for a takeaway box without any worries because we couldnt finish everything there. I highly recommend!

Pire caissier ever. Le gars ne parle quen anglais. Toutes les tables étaient sales à notre arrivée, mais quand jai demandé au caissier den nettoyer une, il est allé nettoyer les bacs de poubelle à la place. Il a ensuite mis à tue-tête sa grosse musique rap pour faire son ménage, une heure avant la fermeture pendant que nous mangions sans pouvoir sentendre parler.

If I could I would give no stars for this restaurant! I love going to Thai Express but not this one, it s my last time! My partner ordered a pad thai and received his order 5-10 minutes after ordering. I had to wait 20 minutes for two starters, one of which was already made (spring roll, which was not even good on top of that). being rolled up with the plastic film) she only had to give it to me and the other which took her barely 5 minutes to make! (A mini tom yum soup). I had to ask him twice to help me. The first time she asked me for my order number and simply continued doing what she was doing (taking care of take-out orders) without serving me when I saw that she was serving a person who had a number after the mine I asked her again to serve me and then she realized that it was she who had to make my order!! Yet she was the one who took my order at the checkout! Really none of their business!! It s a shame since this restaurant is close to my house but now I m going to go to the one on the promenade instead, much better service!
