Best pizza. Definitely my favorite. Always look forward to getting a slice after my band plays the Main Event on a Saturday night.
Got two mozza sticks, many dill deep fried pickles. Forgot our small cheese pizza, said they would get back to us on it. We had to re-order and pay for the cheese pizza we already payed for, and the pizza we did get was not the best around. The onion rings, were good.
Service has really gone down hill in the past years. Food is Sub Par at best now a days. Use to be an Ideal Location and Kitchen. Just not the same anymore.
Ordered pizza asked for sauces they forget about the sauces call them back said they’re Otw to give them to me and then waited over 30 mins to get it, waited and never got it called them back to see what’s going on for them to hang up on me will be the last time I order from here horrible customer service
Had take out this evening. We don’t eat out often but have to say this was amazing!! We have had Kayla’s before and absolutely loved it but this was out of the box! Great job guys!
ordered a WELL DONE THIN CRUST and received the rarest, floury thick af crust pizza I've ever seen. The flour was literally still chunks on it and 4 inch thick crust..completely the opposite of what i ordered. We also got the garlic fingers, same thing I've NEVER seen garlic fingers with that much crust and NEXT TO NO CHEESE!!!!!! we haven't eaten here in 2 years and now I know why.. Last time. Don't bother complaining you'll get nowhere.
What's the point of asking for a well done pizza. 95% of the shop's are in such a rush, that their ovens are too hot to make a well done pizza. The only thing well done was the bits of cheese on the crust. I asked them to go easy on the sauce. Theres so much sauce on this pizza that it's just a big sloppy mess. The crust is doughy and barely cooked. Add to that the fact that the toppings in the middle of my well done pizza are not even close to being browned. I couldn't even finish a second small slice. Because it's rushed, not at all the way I ordered, and more then anything its sloppy. It seems that the only place in Glace Bay that will make your pizza right every time is Vernon's in #2. Nice man. Doesnt rush a pie, anytime for any reason. It'll be ready when its ready. Trust me, 95% of people don't mind waiting longer for a better pizza. And his patience and yours pays off by getting a delicious pizza made the way it was ordered every single time. LoL this pizza reminds me of sonny's and scotties back in the day. Just in the oven long enough to get the cheese to melt, and the dough to rise. I knew as soon as i opened the box. My hopes were shattered lmfao. When someone asks for a well done pizza. The first thing they should say is; "Sorry bah, we got our ovens runnin too hot tonight to make a well done pizza without burning the crust." First and last! Lmao
We weren't sure what to expect. I only ate here a couple times when I was younger and worked at the call center across the road. The tables were wobblier than a drink fisherman, and the wait was ungodly ... but the food was incredible. I was gonna go for 3 stars but then when I took a bite of that steak sub ... Flavor explosion! My 2 good friends Liz and Aaron each got a combo pizza and they both were raving about it. My sub though, holy. 10X better than a subway steak sub. Will come here again some time after a dip at Big Glace Bay Beach.

You should really respond to customers when they have problems with their orders.
Terrible food, horrible service!!!!!! Not only got bland, burnt steak, but they didnt even deliver the whole order. A week and half later, they still refuse to isdue a refund. I keep calling to speak to Janey the manager, but they either keep saying theyre not there, or say yes its Janey speaking, but once I bring up the issue, change that answer to no, not in.
Everything was wonderful.

Pizza sauce has a nice zing to it. I found the crust a bit bland but overall pretty good pizza.
Breakfasts are great- big portions at a good price. Big fan of their poutines.
Pizza was taking an extremely long time. Called to check on order and was told it would it was coming out of oven and ready shortly - arrived to pick it up and the pizza wasn t even made yet and still had to wait longer. Two girls arrived after us to pick up their pizza and they said they ordered it only 20 minutes before. Terrible terrible service. Update- went to the window to pick up pizza after the 10 minute wait and they sent it out with a delivery driver who we then had to track down to get our pizza. It took 2 hours from the moment of delivery to us actually getting our pizza.
Totally enjoyed a breakfast hash yesterday for lunch. Loved the taste and the serving was large. Great job thank you.

I had the worst pizza ever delivered on Cape Breton Island from here last night. It wasnt worth a single dollar I wasted. This place has gone to trash.

Worst service I ever had I ordered a clubhouse platter with gravy and the fries were burnt and the gravy tasted gross I called to tell them about the burnt fries and the person that answered the phone was rude worst experience I had. Never again

Why all the bad reviews? I have ordered from here a few times and food was always correct and tasted awesome plus their prices are right on point and they say yeah it will be 40 minutes to get to me by delivery and it takes 20 or 30 so no complaints there, I would definitely recommend kaylas to anybody looking for a good meal with huge portions for a good price

amazing management. i never got my order on the November 11th as the girl didnt get my correct address. i contacted the managers and they ended up giving me afree pizza and pop for the inconvenience.

I called at 11:29pm on Sunday sept 3 and ordered a large pizza and asked if they could deliver it and they gave me a total. 12:05 came 5 minutes after the closed and we called and they told us no order was placed and argued with us and than said they deliver 4 slices for free. Unbelievable

I have never gotten food this bad from anywhere. Everything was burnt. The hot sauce tasted like ketchup and sugar. Ill never be ordering food from the Main Event again. What a shame, Jeffreys was amazing.
After the third time of having the phone actually hung-up on me I decided maybe we should go with someone else. Looks like im not the only one. --- WOW actually reading all the reviews... brutal. Takes alot to get this much bad feedback

Terrible undercooked food. Rudest staff Ive ever encountered. They completely messed up my order than argued with me to the point of calling me an idiot when I asked for it to be fixed.
Never again will I order fr there the both times I never got everything with my order tn they forgot the coleslaw and tarter sauce I call they say o well its goin to be a while we r busy. ......not good so no more for me
Decent food over all. Great if you need some greasy food. Sometimes the Ponzos come a little undercooked, but it tends to not be overly bad. Also amazing burgers for a decent price. Have yet to actually go in and see how the staff and such are.

Victoria Marie reviewed Main Event and Jiggers Lounge 14 mins · Today (Oct 10, 2015) I was hung up on while placing an order. The woman was extremely rude to me on the phone, I had to call back to ask how long it would be. Then I walked in to pick it up, I was given the wrong order. Went back to explain and politely tell them I was hung up on to and the other man there basicially rolled his eyes at me and walked away. (I was saying it in a very polite voice to.. I couldnt believe I was being treated this way- Ive ordered from Jeffreys for years!) then the bartender gave me my right order and I asked how much it was to make sure I wasnt over charged. He said well how much did you pay. I said well how much are they suppose to be? ........ He then said it was the same cost as a med pizza so it wouldnt have made a difference. (Even though I checked when I went home and they over charged me a dollar.. I ordered garlic fingers) then I left. HORRIBLE service, made me feel embarrassed and terrible. Lost a customer for life today.
