Great place with really good food

Really loved my first visit! Benedictine with waffles and wow duck. Everything was delicious and the service was charming and warm.

I find that the prices are expensive for what is on the plate but despite that it is good. Its my sister-in-laws favorite restaurant so everyone has their own preferences and tastes.

Beautiful lunch restaurant with a diverse offering

We tried Cest Belge for the first time today and it was a real pleasure. The staff ensures customer satisfaction and the food was of high quality, and different from the American-style lunches we are used to. I chose the meal of the week (the Tramway) which included eggs benedict, bacon and scallops. A real delight. The chicken burger with Andalusian sauce was also very good. I recommend the place. :)

Walking into this restaurant is like walking into a museum dedicated to TinTin, with memorabilia all over the walls. We ordered separately: one of us had waffles, the other had pancakes. Pancakes? About the size of a coin. Waffles? As crunchy as granola bars. It looked like breakfast had been shrunk to the size of a hobbit. The service was excellent, but the food was not up to par. The pancakes arrived on a plate covered in compote that looked like baby food. And the price? An impressive $85 for two mimosas, waffles and these tiny pancakes. Three small pancakes and three small waffles. In short, its just pancakes and waffles, not a Michelin experience. If you charge luxury prices, at least serve portions suitable for adults, and perhaps without the baby food.

WoW, what a great lunch. The plates were well stocked and the food was tasty. The fast and friendly service, we had a great time, we will return without hesitation. Parking: Free parking (2 hours) quite close (2-3 minutes walk) or one hour free on the street.

Wow, this place is tasty and the food is quite fancy. My breakfast included a perfectly cooked waffle and real maple butter, at a very reasonable price (and no extra charge for the real maple butter, which you see many restaurants do). We inquired about the various menu items and were told that most were homemade. The restaurant is on the smaller side. We went on a Friday, but I imagine it must be harder to be seated on the weekend.

It s Belgian, it s true! I went to lunch there yesterday late morning. As I went there at the last minute I didnt have a reservation. Despite this, in just a few minutes, I was greeted at the entrance, then they cleaned the counter (after offering me the location) so that I could sit there to eat. I ordered 2 drinks: A latte and a squeezed orange juice. The squeezed orange juice was good, fresh and served generously, the latte was as beautiful as it was delicious! I then ordered the meal, which was very filling and left me with a lot more. Having been to Belgium several times, I found some Belgian elements such as waffles, Manneken Pis or even different brands of beer. The place is very friendly and I think that coming alone, as well as with family or friends, is definitely a winning combo. I recommend this establishment and for my part, I would return! Parking: Parking is accessible behind the building otherwise there is plenty of street parking

Ive been there once 4-5 years ago. It was the 2nd time on Easter Sunday, spontaneous and without reservation. Despite this I was placed at the counter without problem. Excellent attentive service. I tried the caracol plate, so 2 eggs benedict (amen to Easter) with fried onions and snails! Truly excellent. Eggs cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients and a well-measured portion. The black coffee was very good too. Also try the homemade mayonnaise, it is very good. I bought their frozen Liège waffles to take away and in the evening I prepared a lovely delicious dessert with them (see last photo. In short C est Belge is a real gastronomic gem in Granby!

The best brunch restaurant Ive been to in Canada. Since it is a Belgian brunch restaurant, I went and ordered waffles and coffee. The coffee was mainly European style coffee, so American coffee was not on the menu. I ordered Flat White, but the shot tasted like milk because it was weak. It was a bit disappointing that it came out strong. But the waffles are really great. The custard cream and whipped cream that come with it are truly the best. The whipped cream is light and not heavy, and the custard cream has a unique texture and the refreshing fruity taste of berry oil, so it is not greasy. Additionally, waffles have large chewy sugar granules in the middle, which adds to the enjoyment of eating them. The staff was very helpful in providing guidance on the restaurant menu, and the atmosphere was also very clean. There is a wait. Whats unfortunate is that they made an English menu. Its all in French so its a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it was a restaurant that was perfect for enjoying an elegant breakfast in a really small place in Europe.

Ive been around Granby since 2017 and I still havent tried it. I went with friends and I have to say wow. Lunch food like no other, duck, braised beef and normal lunch. They know what they are doing and it is worth going there. Nice little square on the main street. Warm and courteous staff and always with a smile. Since 2017 I have lived in the Granby area and I have never been to that restaurant. Some friends decided to go so I tried it, no regrets there, the food wow breakfast not like the others. I love this restaurant so much. Unique recipes, when I want to make a change for my breakfast this is where I go. The team is nice, and the food is incredible. Friendly welcome in this European restaurant, but with a North American rhythm! You have to fit 3 courses, so your plate disappears after the last mouthful has barely been swallowed and there is no need to ask for the bill, we will bring it to you straight away! We had arranged to meet up with friends there to share news and we finished chatting outside in the snow. For me, going to a restaurant means taking your time...two courses, I understand, three is too much. Very good lunches, the quality is there, but for $25, I would have liked my plate to be more generous.

What service, everything was delicious, from coffee to dessert, the employees are motivated, smiling and even the owner was on site on a Sunday morning to collect our impressions and guide us in our choices... Service in reasonable times even if the restaurant was crowded. Were going back for sure!

Amazing food - absolutely delicious meal as always. On the other hand, in terms of service, it was pitiful. The waitress (black hair) looked down on us, brought us our plates and never came back to ask us if we were missing anything. Thanks to the other waitress (blonde) for making us pay and offering me a coffee stove.

The place is pretty, real fresh squeezed orange juice, vegan oven full of flavor but too much potato for the other ingredients (economy please no) gentlemen owners ask for more but not misrepresentation by offering few vegetables in this dish otherwise tasty Belgian banania waffles are worth it, excellent and what about the excellent iced decaf Vegetarian options: Be careful too many potatoes in the vegan oven

You never go wrong at this restaurant. The sourdough bread as well as the blueberry and lavender jam are incredible. The coffee is also better than several other major breakfast restaurant chains. Prices are slightly high, but very justified!
