There was a lack of variety of beers during our visit, perhaps find out beforehand The tapas were excellent though!

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately during my visit with my wife and my 2 young children on August 24, the service was pitiful. The clearly disinterested waitress took our order delivered the food and never came to us to say Is everything ok? Do you need something? Never seen again, All Evening I had to go inside myself to pay the bill and ask to leave with my remaining dinner The food and beer was really good.

The beers I wanted to try werent available, my burger tasted like frozen pork, and the waitress didnt seem to know much. We may try again another time but later in the evening with a different waitress. Wheelchair accessibility: A toilet for wheelchairs.

I went to the Grimmoir on two occasions. The first time was during a festival with friends, and we had a great time. The food was good, the beer was good, but the waitress was really lost and made lots of mistakes: uneven beers, way too much foam and she asked us to take our own drinks. I went back a second time and my experience was definitely less interesting. Our starter was very good, but the poutines were really salty and the waitress (the same one) was even more confused. There were about three tables occupied (including ours) and she got her order wrong. The beers were lukewarm and inconsistent. The food is good, but the rest... nothing more.

There was a table 4 of 2 before us and we were served more than 45 minutes of waiting for our meal. The waitress was not competent, maybe she was new???

We were hesitant to go there considering the comments. We were not disappointed. The ribs were excellent, as was the beer, and Noémie, who provided service, was very attentive to us.

Really disappointed with our experience at Grimoire. The two people serving were very friendly and willing, but understaffed and really struggling. Despite a half-empty restaurant. Waiting, mistakes, the beers were served to us lukewarm and in uneven quantities (but always with kindness) What an adventure... We finally gave up eating there because of the service. As for the beers, they were not to our taste. Very watery, aromas that taste too chemical. Not for lovers of hoppy beers, and definitely not for us!

Unfortunately one of the worst experiences recently at the restaurant. The waitress really didnt want to be there. She even rolled her eyes because we asked for coffee at the end because she should make some! Luckily for her she found some old fret which she used! Disgusting! A burger for $25... with frozen meatballs from Costco. She couldnt even adjust the recipe when asked to use one dumpling instead of two! About no toppings in it. Ridiculously small portion of nachos for $20 (about 15 chips on the plate!) The poutines and fries were good and the beers too. Not recommended!

Very disappointing, the grimoire was one of my favorite restaurants a few years ago now the food is ok nothing more and the beer only 2 was all the rest in cans if I want cans I will go to the grocery store.

Medieval style decoration. Really good poutine but a little too much pepper. The beers were also beers from their microbrewery. It was very cold inside which made us uncomfortable at times, especially the bathrooms. The waitress lacks a little experience because she did not think to provide utensils and napkins with the meal. You had to ask. Despite this, she is very kind, has a beautiful smile and chats with her customers. Clean place.

Bad service from Rebecca, big lack of professionalism, bad language, she made two mistakes on two orders (beer and poutine). She told us that to compensate for the error, she was going to put a poutine from the menu, which is less expensive than the one that had been initially ordered on the bill. In the end, it was the exact same price, but the item had a different name, wow.. When I confronted her about it, she pretty much said whatever.

Every time I go there I have always had good service from Rebecca! Always smiling, attentive. She makes sure we never lack for anything.

Do not recommend, yesterday we had a reservation for 7, my partner asked for a Singaporsling, which was on the menu, the barmaid asked how it was done, received and undrinkable, same thing for another person, asked to change for a margarita This one, the barmaid is on her cell to see the recipe and once again undrinkable, another person asks for a pina colada and again this one is undrinkable and still on her cell to see the recipe. Ask for the soup of the day as a starter which is supposed to be chicken and noodles, it was only chicken broth, nothing more. Request flowered onions we end up with cartier onion 4 on a plate. We decided to pay what we owed and go elsewhere for dinner, the worst place and the worst service I have received in my life

The restaurant has just reopened in May 2023. Good service, good food and very good beers. The menu has changed, I liked it.

We order a mixed plate, No cheese stick, when we received it no one told us they had more. bang bang chicken without bang bang sauce it was Mayo. No dressing for the salad, chicken wing still pink...2 years ago it was incredible but this time, very disappointing

Superb good, very tasty beer, I tried the délice du lac and delice des cantons .. wow and wow. As a bonus it was served by a pretty lady who was able to guide us in choosing our beers. You will see us again! Thank you so much !

To start I would like to say that the food was fantastic, good portion at a good price. The only problem on the food side is the availability of cheezsticks in the starter mix. In terms of atmosphere, it was a nice place all the same, but not many interesting elements. The service leaves something to be desired, several errors, she does not know her menus, has to return several times to ask the chef the same question (replacement in her starter tray). Brings the plates several times with a long delay between each return to the kitchen (cabaret or transport technique could help rather than bringing 2 plates at a time). Forgot to ask 3 times for water and seems insulted that we ordered water rather than beer when we asked if there were non-alcoholic options. And at the end of the evening she asks why she only gets 10% tips, in life nothing is forgotten and the tip goes with the quality of the service.

Few beer lines for a microphone (like 3-4). Really disappointing. They have a lot of canned beer choices though, but when I go to a micro, I expect draft beer. Correct pub menu, nothing more.

Terrible experience, there was a group of us and half of us couldnt even eat because no one came to take their orders, despite several requests to order. We had to go to the counter to ask for food. Lots of errors in our invoices and when mentioned, we were told to settle it between us with interact transfer... it was the second time and both times as terrible as each other!

Beautiful micro-breweries. The beer is not the best I have had the chance to taste but it is still respectable (especially the maple one which stands out from the competitors). The dining menu is great and you get what you pay for.

It was closed when I went there, (under renovation) I spent part of the evening on the terrace with friends, there was activity in the city center and a lot of passers-by, the bill was not It wasnt expensive!

I really like this place. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect. The meals are delicious as are their beers (one of which is in my top 3). It s hard to stay reasonable when you go to the Grimoire

I normally never leave reviews, but now I feel obliged to warn everyone. This is by far the worst beer Ive tasted, let alone the food. Im a fan of microbrewery beer and Im not too picky, but be careful, Grimoires beer is very low-end. It tastes like they put artificial flavor syrup in a bud light. In addition, I am part of a beer enthusiast group on Facebook (more than 17k members) and Le Grimoire allegedly threatened legal action against the administrators because there were too many bad comments about their beers. Since then, all publications have been censored and immediately deleted as soon as they mention the Grimoire. Questionable business practices and for the quality of the product we will talk about it again...

Good beer, decent food. My girlfriend had her pink meat in her hamburger and ate almost nothing. The waitress didnt ask if we liked it. On the other hand, the fries and homemade mayonnaise YUM!!

Several choices of beers on tap, they are all delicious. The service is fast and courteous. The food is nothing exceptional, but is good (the fries are, however, excellent).

From the very beginning I was disappointed and I judged with reasons and finally I decided, he is more than 5 years old, to ignore him. Finally I went to the Pub and my opinion of their beers didnt really change. On the other hand, the styles seem much more stable. The atmosphere is pleasant with many people getting used to it. The staff is helpful and super friendly (but for knowledge of the style of their own beer and accuracy in their descriptions a little too much surface which ends... that a beer only has one color.) My bib was tasty and cooked very well. And finally, the place and the super cool staff, really charming and friendly, but the beers are disappointing. After so much time, it is time to tell myself that this will not change and that their beers are specifically designed to be drunk and not to be tasted. I have to tell you until next time because Im far from hating you my dears but maybe no beer next time ;-)

Hello, I bought the new La Vie de Château on October 25 but I didnt like it very much, no caramel or rum taste now cedar taste and bitter finished I will buy more yet bought 6 per end of week value at least you put it , old recipe

I decided today to give your beer one last chance, I bought the Milkshake IPA Pina Colada and ohhh my god!!! Its not drinkable, empty it all into the sink after 1 sip and Im far from being picky!! The other one that I drank before a few months ago was the castle life, it tastes like the old Flat cream soda, its terrible!! Do something!!
