We had it delivered so I cant rate the atmosphere, but very good and not expensive too!

A disappointment in take-out for us this evening (first order there ever). The wong tong soup, sausages in syrup and pineapple chicken...no pineapple were ok...for an order of +$120. The eggrolls tasted like old oil, the macaroni/Chinese rice was bland and seemed to be reheated..the general tao was a lump of dough reheated in a dish..funny taste also for the singapor noodles ordered extra . The beef in the dishes...dry and tasteless. We didnt have too many expectations, but there are still limits to what is reasonable...and it was not at all reasonable (freshness, taste, quality/price).

First time and last time...simply disgusting, it looks like food reheated for a few days...it tastes like old oil...I wouldnt even give that to my dog! A real shame to serve this! $100++ good for trash.

I was, because I will never be again, a regular customer of this restaurant for takeout orders. I think it changed owners, because I didnt recognize anyone. Everything seemed to be reheated, judging by the flavor, and there were only chicken crumbs in the Chicken Fried Rice, the Chinese Vegetables with Chicken and the Chicken Chop Suey. plus the Bang Bang shrimp and General Tao chicken tasted like the freezer and had clearly been defrosted so I threw $65 in the trash Dont trust the stars, because it was once good, but not anymore. Select Recent Review and also be wary of 5 stars. Probably friends or employees who are buttery and thick.

When I looked at the reviews, I wasnt convinced to eat at this restaurant. Finally, I went to eat on a Saturday and loved my experience. Especially the crab legs, they are delicious, for seafood lovers you are served. Whats more, what can I say about the waitresses, they are beautiful and emphatic towards the warm customers. yes yes Im talking about Kelly kimberly koraly and Kathee. They are the best.

Good restaurant to eat with children. Prices for them according to their age (under 4 years free and over 5 years from $5) plenty of choice for all tastes (great for picky children). Tables well spaced apart, not everyone is sitting next to the other occupied tables. Kid friendly environment, waitresses who provide great service and super friendly staff. If you like high quality food and chic restaurants with contemporary decor. This place is not for you.

I went there on a Saturday evening and everything I ate was tasty and good (even the sushi and frog legs!). One of the best Chinese buffets Ive eaten at in recent years! The service is good, the glasses of water dont have time to empty!

Ive been going to this restaurant for over 30 years and its really gone downhill lately. Disgusting bathroom. The tablecloth was dirty, old residue left under the plexiglass on the table (they put plexiglass to avoid washing the tablecloths I imagine). The lady putting food back into the buffet looks dumber than a prison guard. The food doesnt taste much, dry and so oily. The decor is so old. The utensils are rusty. Im really disappointed with how this restaurant turned out...

I found it more than acceptable, good food, good service, music in good volume and a quiet and clean atmosphere.

We finally ordered a combo with general tao and it tasted more like vinegar and citrus than what general tao really tastes like. Still raw broccoli and cold beef in beef and broccoli . Really disappointed.

Management has been changed and many things have been improved. Everything from the food to the service to the environment has improved!

The food is excellent but I have one big point that left me quite cold. We ordered for delivery on Sunday (September 15) during delivery I noticed that the delivery girl had a large dog in her vehicle. I find that animals and food do not go well together. I dont think owners should accept deliveries with an animal in the car. This really disgusted me...maybe review the MAPAC regulations....

I went there for dinner, I was really disappointed. I felt like I was eating leftovers from the lunch buffet that they reheated. The buffet didnt have much that looked fresh or appetizing. The general tao chicken was so dry. Its been a long time since Ive been there and this will be the last time. I PAID $30 TO EAT REHEATED, UNEDIBLE THINGS! Luckily the waitress was nice..... The worst Chinese buffet of my entire life! Flavorless and tasteless food, the recipes definitely need to be reviewed. The freshness was not there either. I strongly advise against going to eat there, at $30 + tax and tip per person its literally a steal.

We went there on a Friday lunchtime with another couple and all 4 loved it. The food is good and we love the buffets. We would love to have a Chinese buffet like this in Sherbrooke.....not much here....at least nothing that beats this Chinese buffet!

$35 honestly is a steal, the shrimp were simply not edible, not to mention the smell.

I ordered for 2 people because I really wanted to eat Chinese....The food was good, I cant complain about that...but my friend found a spit in his Chop Suey...ca its ordinary, lets say....on the other hand, what I want to denounce is the guy who took my order on the phone....I asked him to repeat the dishes to me to be sure..he did it done perfect..then I ask him the price...he answers me...Ive only told you twice but Im going to tell you again... firstly, just saying that to customers is dont...its quite insulting...and Im not stupid. He never gave me the price. If I had been his boss...I would have told him....bye bye.... nasty slobber

I dont understand people who give a low rating. Everything is very good. If we dont like a dish, we go straight and choose something else. There are so many choices Well done and good continuity to the whole team.

2024 Update: I have been back 3 times in the last year and I must admit that the situation has radically changed. The food is mostly good, some dishes excellent and the prices are reasonable. Very pleasantly surprised by the evolution of this restaurant! Previous review (1 star): Some comments on this establishment are very colorful... But several represent the disappointment I felt when tasting their food. Im far from being picky and I like buffets but this one is just not good! I cant even name a single dish that I considered acceptable. If it wasnt for family reunions I would never visit this place.

La nourriture, en particulier la viande, est mauvaise. Tous les plats de viande avaient une mauvaise odeur et un mauvais goût. Ce n était même pas « ordinaire », c était mauvais. Les seules choses passages étaient les légumes, les fruits, les nouilles. Même les boissons en fontaine n avaient pas exactement le goût attendu. Les gens au service étaient très gentils mais bon, ce n est pas suffisant. C était la première et la dernière fois.

Cest rare que je fais des commentaires négatif mais sérieusement cétais vraiment pas mangeable!! Ça faisait plus de 10 ans quon ny avait pas été, dans nos souvenirs cétais bien comme nourriture mais la oufff cest quelque chose!! seriously Ouachhhh these threw up an order on delivery upon arrival a dish was missing in addition it had been several years since I had ordered, I will never recommend again, chicken chop suey the chicken had a funny taste, I didnt taste the chicken soo guy he forgot to put it in the order and I noticed that all the vegetables had no taste and everything was cold when it arrived very very disappointed

For a Monday evening, we are not disappointed! Wide variety of dishes, impeccable service and calm atmosphere. We were hesitant at first, since usually on Mondays there are fewer people, so we thought there wouldnt be much choice. However, some dishes were a little overcooked/reheated (old?), I dont know if thats the case, in short it was still good, we enjoyed it! I recommend for a family dinner, romantic or with children! For 2, it cost us $75, note that we had a bloody caesar for $6.75 (which was very good) and a pina colada for $8.75 (which was passable).

Honestly... No. Besides the courteous staff, I cannot recommend this place enough. The frog legs and wonton soup are okay...but not worth $30/person. Between 15 and 20 no more... Otherwise you would have to invest in the food, the decor, change the white bulbs to 6500k and change the scrap curtains!

I strongly advise against it. It cost me $50 and I found it absurd. Usually I dont mind paying for food, but out of the 20 or so choices, there werent even three that were good and fresh. I would never go again. Even the cocktails werent good. My bloody ceaser tasted like water clamato. Little advice from a friend, trust the bad ratings of this restaurant, they are true.

Very disappointing... very greasy food, tasteless and it didnt seem fresh, whats more, we had a Bloody Caesar which tasted like water, we agree that at almost $50 including a drink for a person it borders on a scam!

Good buffet!

I am a regular at La Maison du Général in Granby and despite the warnings I had received I decided to try this Chinese food restaurant I should have listened to the reviews because I wasnt impressed by this one at all! The prices have increased a lot, but the quality, taste & portions were not up to par. First and last experience for us! Sorry but its going to take more for you to get our attention when it comes to Chinese food

Really not much good, I tell you dont go there for a dinner at $46 plus tip and I told the manager that it wasnt good and she laughed at me I just hope that it will close because it is a restaurant fraud!!!!!

Personally I found the food very dry, everything was dry, there was very little hygiene, the ice cream spoons were bathed in dirty water, we found bits of I dont really know what in almost all the dishes and it was cold inside and the whole thing cost us $172 for 5 people or around $30 per person so I dont recommend it Vegetarian options: There wasnt much vegetarian

Its a good place but for the price the lunch menu is too limited. Very good food, unfortunately they are often closed. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking provided for the disabled but on a slope which can also be icy.

Service is fine. But quality of food is really not great. Everything that is deep fried which is most of the food,is soaked in oil. $50 for two peoples lunch and we both left very unsatisfied. I would not recommend to anyone, you would be much better off getting your Chinese food at the food court in the mall just across the street from Wongs.

The food is really not good. The meat (chicken and beef) to be cooked on the grill, I tell you it is not chicken and beef and the beef was given an impossible red color. Never again for me.

It pains me to write this review because I have been going to this restaurant with my family since my childhood. Its changed so much and not for the better. No matter the time, it looks like the food has been on the stove for too long. The drinks and wine really leave something to be desired. The price has increased, but the quality has decreased. Not really worth it anymore.

We went Saturday May 20, 23 for dinner at 6:45 hrs. Everything was overcooked, it tasted all the same, the soup was good and the rice too, the rest is not even worth talking about. The grill for steaks or chicken was lukewarm, no sushi, and all this for $30.00 per person. We will never go back to this restaurant again . Really very disappointed for a first dinner.

Really disappointed with the food, I took a beef shop suey to go, and it had no taste... even a bitter taste. I just moved to the region and the week before I had the same meal at Maison Général Tao and it was a really good dish!! But here I am very disappointed to have spent my money. I advise against it.

Showed up at 5pm on a Friday. The food choice was limited . At closer look it was obvious it was from lunch.....when the food was replenished they just dumped it on top of the old stuff..... . The fried food had no meat in it, just breading and you could tell the oil was old . $140 for 2 adults and 2 kids and the tip was added automatically. If I could give this place a 0* I would.

So the food was disgusting and unedible. The waitress avoided our table the entire time. One alcoholic drink was ordered for a table of 13 a long black hair was found in it was still charged for it. Two other people found hair in their food. For myself and my husband it was almost 80 DOLLARS. Do yourself a favor go to McDonalds down the road.

They also have fountain drinks all you can drink. Sushi also. A lot of the food this time was well seasoned. Id suggest the restaurant to add a pasta like lasaga and pizza to the mix since it would be a great touch. Kid-friendliness: Small cups for kids and many kid friendly desserts and food

Delivery time of 1h30 on a Wednesday, SoGuy cold and dry, mixed raw vegetables and no rice. We ask for a meal for 3 knowing from experience that there are always leftovers for the next day, well the portions have been reduced to the point that there are no leftovers. When we call to ask to deliver the missing rice and mention that the SoGuy, we are offered free rice on the next delivery... Really disappointed.

I passed the parking lot 10 minutes after closing and an employee was smoking inside...

Good food, hot and the dishes are constantly replenished. Friendly, helpful and very attentive staff. My only downside is the lighting is too dim, it almost looks like they are off. For the rest, nothing to complain about
