I go there several times a year, its so good. Despite the slightly expensive price per person, there are weekday combos with lots of variety. They also vary the doses of spicy depending on what you want and they adapt to your language (English, French and Indian). I highly recommend! I really like the daal soup with the shrimp pakora and then the butter chicken meal, a real delight!

I have eaten Indian cuisine everywhere, Montreal, Toronto etc it is the best, the lamb is so tender, 2 adults would have eaten my dish, very good portion, paying $33.00 with 20% tip included, sure that I will come back even if I have to drive an hour, really impressive

I had the vegetarian tali (during the week at lunchtime). The food was good but not hot enough. Also, pay attention to the price. I was charged more than on the menu. It was corrected as soon as I mentioned it to them. Im going back in a few days with my partner and his daughter for a more elaborate meal to celebrate my birthday. Extremely expensive for what you have. No table dhôte for one person. Which is incomprehensible. Then, a small meat dish and nothing on the side for $19! Table service is non-existent. I dont understand how this restaurant manages to survive... Can be a lot of friends on Google...

Excellent experience!! We ordered the onion bhajee, vegetable samosa, daal soup, matter paneer, malai kofta, garlic naan bread and rice everything was perfect! The service was very good and a constant water refill! The restaurant was full and the atmosphere warm! I definitely want to come back!

No one came back to check or to see if we want to re-order. No one even bothered to fill glasses of water for our family. NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE. Very disappointed. Ordinary restaurant, Indian inspired. Bland food, if we compare to other Indian restaurants of course. The naan bread was acceptable (a little too much butter) but otherwise disappointing. The chai tea tasted and smelled like Salada tea. Sauces that resembled Indian sauces but lacked depth. Everything actually looked like Indian food but for my personal taste, it seriously lacked authenticity. I recommend this restaurant a little to people who are afraid of tasting Indian dishes, again, I introduced my friends to real authentic restaurants so that they can get a fair idea of Indian food. For my part, I will not return there.

Very poor service, they forgot to bring us the menus, the wine glasses, they forgot the soup and despite our request to serve the meal without regard to the starters and main courses as we have young children, it took 45 minutes to have the main meal. The tapestry is falling from the walls, the lighting was non-existent. A family was reading the menu by flashlight. We found it to be too much to pay for so little food in an unfortunately withered restaurant atmosphere.

Authentic and delicious

Great Indian food and great value where you wouldnt necessarily expect to find it.

Visited during visit to Eastern Townships, on a Friday. First of all, the restaurant might look busy, but if you know how authentic Indian food tastes, you will be hugely disappointed. Onion bhaji had onion cut like shredded cheese and dough not fully fried. Paneer Tikka masala gravy was made from a can of pureed tomatoes, with no hint of any real spices. Dal Makhni was filled with Red Kidney beans. Each and every dish was horrible. To top it all, service. We were consistently ignored, never came back to ask how was the food, had to waive a waiter down to get some salt. Had a conversation with manager afterwards and highlighted this. Some of them other than manager were receptive, but were frank that they are a popular restaurant there with non-Indian origin customers. So I dont think the food taste is going to change. But we felt very disappointed in how the multiple waiters there just ignored coming to our table. The lighting in the restaurant is so dim, perhaps, so that you cannot see how the food looks !! I will not be visiting or recommending this place due to the taste of food and bad service.

We mainly had vegetarian dishes. Everything was excellent, tasty, well seasoned. Among the best, if not the best, Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at (and not just in Granby). I would go back without any hesitation!

It was very hot in the restaurant, but the food was incredibly good. The coconut curry chicken and shrimp, the onion bahjji... I will definitely go back.

I went there for the first time this afternoon and it will definitely be the last! I ordered chicken 65 which was not cooked enough and was rubbery, the waitress brought it back to the kitchen, no better! Not cooked! Lets just say it takes away the appetite. in addition the samosas were dry, the overcooked onion fritters almost burnt! I barely ate anything! The waitress spent her time coughing and sneezing in the next room, we could hear coughing in the kitchen... The only good thing about this meal was the fact that I wasnt charged for the chicken... I Im really disappointed!

Certainly the best Indian restaurant around! Everything is delicious. Our favorite trick? A royal meal for two meat lovers. To that, we add a Saag Paneer and we are satisfied! The portions are generous, so we definitely have some left over for the next day.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Very near to Granby zoo . Best thing about the restaurant is their Naan . I bet you naan they serve here you will not even find in any top restaurants of Ontario or BC. Authentic taste of North India. Beautiful set up and very hygienic place. Will surely come back to celebrate more occasions here .

We experienced the best service. I ordered shrimp pakora and its the tastiest starter I ever tried. And the dal makhani was so tasty too.

Below average food but what is more disappointing is staff behaviour. We order Veg Manchuria, it was having way to much soya sauce and some cabbage filling, not worth a try. We order dal tadka and they bring dal makhani when we said its wrong order of course they change it but without quality as dal tadka did had any tadka. We let it go thinking it happens. When we order Veg fried rice, we were served egg in the rice, when i asked staff about it, he said In the menu it is already mention in the detail that veg fried rice will have egg in it . When i argue how come its Veg fried rice when egg is in it, he said he do not want to waste his time or argue with me in this i was furious and speechless at this time. We did not eat that dish and he still charge us for the same. Restaurant was full and i did not want to create a scene but it was very rude and unprofessional behaviour. Never going again and i would suggest others to do the same.

We took the dish for two people, the mixed tender, no taste except that it is spicy, no atmosphere like a funeral, no smile, the manager seems like he is doing the service in spite of himself, no welcome, the size the dishes in the photos of the menu have nothing to do with reality, $138 spent to then go eat in a fast food restaurant, I strongly advise against it!

The atmosphere was bland, the music wasn t playing consistently. The food was average as someone who has eaten a lot of Indian food, the butter chicken was too sweet and their Naan way too oily. It is good but not on the level of their price tag. The service might have been the worst I had. The waiter had a runny nose and an AirPod at all times he was serving us. He didn t hear well but never decided to remove his AirPods. The waiter had a lot of attitude and decided the tip ammount for us when getting tip is a privilege that is given for superior service. It is not mandatory anywhere as long as the waiters are paid at least minimum wage. The waiter is not paid less than minimum wage so any undeserved tip shouldn t be forced upon customers. Student discount was omitted and it was replaced by a reducing of the, i repeat undeserved tip. The waiter ended accepting no tip but only in exchange for bad words and more bad attitude. Thank you for a very bad service and high prices for your average food, I strongly suggest you chose any place but this one for Indian food or any restaurant you might want to eat at.

Me: The service was garbage, guy was like you guys are student and tip is mandatory, like what if I work in a mcdonald and came here for a special occasion, should not impose tip when Im a student. We did not order extra nothing, one of us forgot he needed a bread so it was 1 bread for another person and not extra. The food was average for someone who has eaten a lot of indian food. I was going to tip but the attitude of the waiter was not so desirable My friend: We came in as a group and didnt order much. The waiter asked for mandatory tip when the service was awful with the waiter being rude and the food wasnt great as well as them serving small portions for very high prices. As students he refused to give us the discoung and instead reduced the tip percentage. All in all I wouldnt return here. Should remove 10% discount on the original price and not from the tipping. But whatever capitalism. Should try Shalimar or any other restaurant in Montreal.

What an excellent restaurant and service! All sauces are prepared directly on site. Great variety and choice, including several vegetarian and vegan options. I have been there several times and it was always excellent! I recommend it 100%. The best dish in my opinion is the Gobi 65 (cauliflower).
