Excellent dinner as usual at that restaurant 😋
If you want the equivalent of two meals for the price of one, go there ! However, you might feel disappointed to have to eat twice their food... It is a surprising blend of bland, bitter, soggy, overcooked and undercooked food... The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They are the only reason this gets 2 stars. And the place is clean, easy to find, with lots of parking spaces.
Order the steak it's great. We have been there many times and it is our fall back position every time we need somewhere to go and have not made a reservation, but we have made reservations as well there. The food is always consistent and make sure your hungry because there is a lot of food per plate. As with most places in Quebec you can bring in your own wine which makes the cheque at the end a pleasant experience.
We had our dinner here just before we head home to a family Halloween party. We were positive we will get served fast. It was quick that a waitess ushers us on our table and took our orders. We were so anxious to get our orders. We weren't expecting to wait an hour and twenty minutes to receive our meals knowing that the restaurant was fully packed. Good thing our food were all great despite the waiting. The prices are great and large portions. Way better than Casa Grecque. I will definitely keep coming back specially when I have time to spare for the waiting.
Delicious meal. I had the shrimp platter. The salad is fantastic. Great customer service, clean restaurant. Will go back again when I am in Granby.
The restaurant has good food and generally the service is good. We were a party of ten and the restaurant was super busy. The kitchen couldn't keep up, so we waited almost two hours for our main course. The waitress did her best, but she had to wait on the kitchen. The portions are huge. They could downsize the portions and still be satisfying.
Went here on mother's Day with a reservation so we expected for it to be busy. Waited one hour for our food after ordering and the 'supreme' salad is not supreme but should be renamed 'dull'. I swear a McDonald's salad has more taste. Anyways, the wait time was to be expected and I should have went with a dish other than the salad.
Slow service, starts ok but slack off by the dessert, took lamb chop, best face of the chop was under, rather than be prominent. Poor presentation, someone should talk to the cook
Very tasty meal. Great waiter even though he made a mistake about the evenings soup, but overall a great experience for us. Correct atmosphere.

Unfortunately the meal was not satisfactory. The steak was blue and not medium rare. The shrimp were so cooked that the scales wouldnt come off. Despite everything, our waitress was very nice.
We go there in the evenings at the start of the week. The cooking is always tender and the service is great! The prices are very reasonable for the quantity. The hot roll given at the beginning is delicious!

In July 2024, I went on a Tuesday. The salad was not fresh. Just returned August 30th and salad rusty and soggy. It s over for me, Vieux Dulude in Granby.

I always have my ***favorite*** plate, the filet mignon and butterfly shrimp. Its always *WOW* every time you visit. The tastes are the same every time.

Last night, there were 4 of us. Caesar salad rusty and soggy on the plates despite the extra that was loaded on us and plate served lukewarm. Too bad, next time well head to another restaurant
It used to be one of the best restaurants in town. We went there for a friends party last week, but most of them didnt eat their plate or had to take it home to modify it because it wasnt good; soft salad, vegetables sautéed raw (and/or with fish flavor), rice not good to stick to moton, sauce too acidic, etc , but what shocked me the most was the cake for the celebration: A cream burned raw (slimy like an egg, it was just not edible). When the waitress went to see the manager at the end to tell him about the situation, he replied that he was offering us a ball of rice lol he gave us a good laugh, but it was the last time we we were going to eat at Vieux-Duflux.
On Fathers Day for dinner in Granby we had very bad service... The waitress was overloaded, we said we could wait a bit once seated at our table...so we drank our wine while waiting for our plates to arrive, it took just over an hour. Ordered two filet mignons but received two beef steaks with bacon around and meat difficult to chew! So this will be the last time at your restaurant, although we had very good service before! It s very unfortunate!

Very disappointed with my plate, salad not crispy and wilted! Potatoes Very soft due to too long in the stove, and what about my rare filet mignon ok but! chewing!!! When asked if it was a filet mignon...

First bad experience ever in a restaurant. Owner and manager absent on a Saturday evening. Following our comment to the waitress on our two plates: overcooked shrimp, we were stared at by the restaurant staff when they passed by our table. A little later, the head waiter came to us with a condescending attitude. We were subjected to several disrespectful remarks, even going so far as to tell us to leave the restaurant and never come back. There was enormous discomfort between him, the waitress and the restaurant staff. We are in our fifties and we have never had to live through such an unhealthy and malicious experience. Never again Old Duluth GRANBY.
New look... With the same menu as before... We go there because we know what we want to eat and not for a taste experience... The staff is courteous... The fast service... And its always full... So we like... What we take... Wheelchair accessibility: At ground level... So practical for people with reduced mobility...

Super good dinners!!!Excellent table service. But, charged an extra $5 to put the salad from the plate into a bowl!!!!We asked for my husband who has difficulty with his motor skills so its easier for him to eat that way. He ended up not eating salad. Its ridiculous to ask for extra for this!

Great restaurant. Air conditioning appreciated on a very hot day. Smiling and impeccable service. Food whatever, the salad served abundantly with each dish is pitiful. Reasonable prices.
As after every experience in old Duluth, I always ate well. The reason why I give such a low rating is because of the service. After being served our starter, we waited over an hour before receiving the main meal. Not to mention that several people who arrived after us received their meals before us. I thought this evening couldnt get any worse, my partners order was forgotten by the kitchen. Im sorry, but this is unacceptable, I will not come back to this restaurant again.

When a restaurant allocates 2 pieces of bread per person and if you want more its an extra. with the Pikilia entry at $18.00 you still have to pay extra for pita bread

Bad Service and very disappointed, we were 4 friends celebrating the birthday of one of us, we waited exactly 1 hour before being able to order our starter, there were only 2 men to serve in the whole room to eat, then we wanted a little extra bread, because there were 4 of us all the same for a very small basket of 6 small pieces of baguette so very small, for starters of snails with garlic butter so.. .the bread was a bit normal...the oldest who served us told us firmly that next time we would have to pay for the bread. What can I say firstly welcome very well received the young man who assigned us our table very professional for his very young age after welcome our waitress Naika 10 out of 10 the restaurant is full to bursting they have just sat us down 2 minutes later she arrives with a great beautiful smile she opens the bottle of wine and leaves maybe 5 minutes later she comes back for the order I tell her that we would take another 5 minutes more being a waiter myself and my boyfriend also like to take our time when that is possible especially since we had invited my boyfriends godmother finally she came back to take the order in a very reasonable time so I wanted the cheese sticks unfortunately he didnt have any more given the traffic this can happen so I took 1spanakopita served with tzatziki and my boyfriend serious shrimp gratin I ate half of my starter very large portion shared the shrimp gratin very beautiful also served with garlic bread as a meal the walleye excellent served with salad, rice and Greek potatoes, chicken skewers rice Caesar salad instead of the house salad and potatoes plus an extra 3 butterfly shrimp and finally hamburger steak for me with rice, potatoes and Greek salad instead of the house when I saw the plates arrived I had a serious shock not used to eating in restaurants Greek told me that this is normal the faults that I found in the main dishes for the hamburger steak found it lacked sauce so a little dry but above all the salad was bland lack of spice and especially the Caesar no taste finally I finished my roman hahahah we had a very nice evening really nice CONGRATULATIONS to all the teams who were there this evening and especially Naika for your very good service and smile so I recommend the place good restaurant for families, groups or friends oops I forgot still a lot of noise but for me it doesnt bother me so for a romantic dinner not sure hahah... Monday October 17, 2022 dinner. We are five people. Not many people. Almost cold meals, soft and overcooked potatoes. Sparse plates, shrimp with intestines. Meal errors. Coffee cup arrives with lipstick while the request was hot water. Suggestions: change cooks, waiters, dishwashers or write business closed on the door. Wait, the worst is to come, my partner has been ill since then and it is October 19, 2022. Bravo for the formula. We really like these restaurants but this one oh dear, close and its in a hurry or start from scratch.

Its Friday evening, the restaurant is crowded with customers. The bring your own wine or beer option is still very popular in Granby! Thanks to Old Duluth! Vegetarian options: Spinakopita and fetã cheese is perfect for those who dont eat meat!
