I like to go there on Sunday lunch for the papillion shrimp special. I also had a plate of lobster once during their time of year, delicious. But otherwise the prices are still expensive and the services are often slow and not very courteous. Coming home at noon then going out around 2-3 a.m. I find it exaggerated (we were a group).

Beautiful atmosphere, clean and welcoming. When the weather permits, there is an outdoor terrace, a bar section with televisions, a restaurant section on several levels. The menu features grills and seafood. We didnt taste everything but the tartare that I had with Caesar salad was spicy and tasty. My partner had the mussels marinière and garlic shrimp. The sauce wasnt great but ok. The shrimp were delicious dipped in their garlic butter sauce. Generous portions. Everyone was smiling, showing that the staff are well treated. Prices are reasonable. I recommend without hesitation. Enjoy your food!

Tasting the bowl of seafood mussels with béchamel sauce was a pure delight, my partner loved her filet mignon. Parking: Allow 3 or 4 hours to make an appointment otherwise wait for a free place inside

Excellent meal and service

We meet up with friends several times a year at Daniel Lapointe. We have never been disappointed with the service received or the quality of the food... (the only disappointment is that he removed an item from the menu that we had on each visit.. The famous sparkling steak.. But hey the rest of the menu is just as good ) Parking: Quite limited number of spaces so we have to park in the surrounding streets which is rather complicated once winter arrives

Very busy place. Its easier with a reservation. The poutine didnt have much sauce. The chicken was not cooked enough to our liking even though the request for very well done had been made. Our waitress had difficulty placing dishes in front of people.

I went to visit a friend in Granby who suggested this place to me. We went on a Sunday and had the special 25 shrimp with rice, salad for $14.95. We agree that it s really not expensive. Especially in the current context of inflation. We had to make a difficult choice, as everything on the menu looked good and affordable. We loved the place so much, I plan to go back tomorrow. Im already looking at the menu to connect faster . I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good restaurant. I recommend. For steaks, they must review their cooking. Until then, I suggest you order a blue from them to hope for a rare one. For you the Chef: Blue: 30 seconds to 1 minute on very high heat, one round trip. Rare: 30 seconds over very high heat + 1 minute to 130 minutes over high heat. Ready: 30 seconds over very high heat + 230 minutes over medium heat. Well cooked: 30 seconds on very high heat + 3 minutes on low heat.

It was very difficult to get to the restaurant since the streets around it are closed, but the detours were worth it. We will return soon after the renovations.

Excellent food. The waitress doesnt have an easy smile. The music was a little loud and the more people there are, the more cacophonous it is.

Last Saturday evening, March 23, my family and I were disappointed with our experience here, with the exception of the entrees. On our table, only two of the four diners had all their utensils, while myself and one other person had no knives. We reported this problem to the waitress, but she never brought us the missing utensils. Also our water was only refilled once during the entire meal. I had to approach the other servers to receive more. Although she asked us for our opinion on the starters, she never returned for the main course. The ribs were covered in a very basic chili sauce and had been boiled too long, making them too mushy and unpleasant to eat. The chicken salad my mother ordered was simply inedible, probably because the iceberg lettuces had been left out in the open for over 24 hours, making them very limp. All salads served during the meal were in the same condition. The burgers also lacked flavor. As for dessert, we had table dhôte, and although we considered opting out after the main course disaster, we were informed that it was impossible to cancel once the decision had been made. Additionally, people who ordered sundaes received huge scoops that did not allow them to reach the bottom of their sundae. After the starters, she never asked us how we found our meal, probably because she suspected the quality of the salad. Their specialty really lies in seafood and meats and I recommend sticking to that because the rest is just tolerable. I understand that Saturday nights can be very busy, but lacking water and proper utensils is not acceptable. Positives: good portions. The sugar tart is good. I recommend the fried pickles, whose sauce is really delicious. 1-2 vegetarian options. Parking: Quickly full, must park on nearby streets. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking

Very disappointing meal on a Monday, scallop, only sauce, a little mushroom, a small scallop and lots of cheese and not hot, accompanied by 10 breaded shrimp. ($2 extra for breading!) A Caesar salad, with ($2 more for cheese on top). I wont go back again

Very disappointing, we went to dinner with friends, seafood shell with nothing in it, just a lot of undercooked sauce on top of that. Pizza cheese not melted enough and almost no crust in the center of the pizza. Also not cooked enough. Glasses were stained and dirty. We reported to two servers without success.

Excellent service, large, clean and well maintained place right down to the bathroom. A coveted place for a Friday lunchtime, it was quite full, but not cacophonous. We also appreciated the comedy videos on our screens rather than LCN. The only downside and it s really not much; my chicken wrap was topped with frisée salad, so it was soft and soggy it was unpleasant in the mouth.

A wonderful discovery during a visit to Granby for a three-day stay! Served by Nathalie, we were served like kings! The filet mignon was succulent and what can we say about the shrimp and lobster which melted in your mouth! We will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

I find the lack of customer service from the boss girl and the waiters distressing. We had a reservation for 8 p.m. As we waited for our table at the bar, a group was seated before us, even though they had just entered the restaurant. The employee seemed very annoyed when I asked her about our table (even though there were several available for several minutes already). It s a shame, I really like the atmosphere of your restaurant, but I don t think I ll come back after this event.

I visited your establishment Saturday evening and just wow Everything was perfect. My wife and I had the cheese sticks as a starter with the whole rib with 2 side poutine and fries with the sugar tart with maple syrup ice cream. Everything was incredible. Hot food good portion. I recommend. Even our waitress Lili was perfect with great suggestions and impeccable service. I say it again I RECOMMEND THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO IN SHERBROOKE.

We went to dinner like this after returning from an afternoon of cycling for the first time at the Brasserie. A moment of delight and incredible discovery. It was simply perfect. From the potato peel appetizer to the mille-feuille... everything was a pleasant experience and one to repeat often. Blody Caesar doubles on the king coche! The pork Tomahawk cooked just right and that maple sauce... Wow The filet mignon and shrimp are cooked to perfection. And for the first time, a creamy garlic butter (a garlic butter mousse) oufff so delectable!!! We will come back for sure! Lets start with the best, the menu is very extensive, its difficult not to find a dish that tempts you. However, I had a steak tartare, I ended up with a very small steak and 8 pieces of hard bread. Soft fries and slightly fresh salad on the side. My partner had the ribs with shrimp, although in fact she had more shrimp than indicated on the menu, the rice was really not great, and the ribs were OK without being crazy. We took everything to go, the wait was quite long, afterward the restaurant was still very full, which explains that. The restaurant is very noisy, which ultimately pushed us to take out to eat quietly at home, not far from the restaurant. In the end, for the price, the quality is not particularly there, it is not a restaurant to which we plan to return. Parking: Parking located right next door, decent number of spaces, nothing special to report in that regard.

First time we went to this restaurant and frankly the service was perfect, the food delicious and the atmosphere great! A real discovery for us. I recommend this brewery hands down.

The tequila sunrise was good Horrible food, pork tomohawk as hard as a boot, cocktail shrimp defrosting as big as a newborns fingers. No table service, the restaurant was almost empty as well.

Vraiment déçue de ce restaurant. Les crevettes sont super petites, brochettes de poulet sec, riz froid, salade défraîchie, pelure de patates au goût de désinfectant, burger très moyen. I rarely eat beef, on occasion I go to Brasserie Daniel Lapointe where I am usually satisfied. Thursday October 19, I was very disappointed with the flank steak. I ordered medium well cooked, what I was served was almost burnt flank steak. The bread was not fresh, the salad from the 2nd meal was missing. The waitress didnt come and ask us how our meal was? Too bad, because a trip to a restaurant should be pleasant all round and delicious.

Service is lacking but the food is great

At the beginning on arrival the approach was average, but as we had not booked it was normal not to have priority. Afterwards, in order to still offer us good service, we were offered a place where we had to eat very quickly, but next door there was a party and it was too much of a party, we didnt get along, so we wanted to leave, but a lady offered us a very good seat, and with a fantastic waitress in every way, throughout the meal she kept us informed of any possible delays, she was great, we loved her service. Moral of the story always given a second chance without this pride at first contact. Thank you Daniel Lapointe, you are always my number 1.

Very good meal. For shrimp this is the place! And what s more, excellent service from Xavier. He is efficient, attentive and his humor adds a much appreciated plus ! Small suggestion in the kitchen: the vegetable stir-fry deserves an addition of flavor to the very bland white rice. A little light sauce or some seasonings would be welcome!

Wait 1 hour and no one came to see us at the table

Good food... great atmosphere! But when it was time for the dishes to be served to us.... the waitresses walked around calling out the dishes without knowing who was going to... waitress for 15 years... we went out with the dishes and the number of customer... we couldnt talk to each other anymore... it was calling loudly as if we were in the stands for a hockey or baseball game... it was a bit low in the game as a service... the rest it was good.
