An unforgettable experience! A caring team. Impeccable service. The meals were excellent.

Very good restaurant. I went there recently for the 2nd time. The kitchen mainly uses charcoal cooking. Some changes from my first visit. Several details why I didnt give 5 stars. No vegetarian or vegan option unless you ask. My Brussels sprouts lacked cooking and flavor. Attentive service but some errors. The blood sausage was very good and crispy. Very fresh oysters.

Very charming restaurant to absolutely visit. The menu has a fire theme where the products are cooked on the grill which gives them character and a signature of their own with very pleasant smoky flavors. Starters such as mushrooms or bison tartare are surprising and meats (beef or wild boar) on the fire are simply essential. In summer the side terrace is very warm and during the cold season the dining room is elegant. The service is extraordinary, the hosts are extremely friendly and you can tell they love what they do. After 2 visits, we were won over. Its the best restaurant around, well definitely go back!

I loved this restaurant. I discovered an astonishing place, not knowing that there were such charming little places in Granby! The service was friendly and well accomplished, a big thank you to Riz for his impeccable service! Plus, the food wowed us every time. The little attention at the beginning with the aranchinis, the Caesar-style brussels cabbage salad and without forgetting the main course: 35 oz of prime rib executed to perfection! We had the second floor section reserved with private balcony, private living room and private bathroom. We practically felt like we were in a hotel! I loved my experience and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, whether for a romantic evening or a special occasion.

Best restaurant in Granby :)

Impeccable reception and decent atmosphere but very noisy. Very good starter and sublime soup. The rest is unworthy of such a restaurant. The portions of the specialty (bavette) are much smaller than those offered and 1 plate out of the 3 served was simply unworthy of this type of restaurant. The small portion of grilled vegetables was bathed in oil?? Another diners scallops seemed way overcooked. And all this served with an interminable wait: more than an hour between the soup and the main course. A subtle invitation to order a second bottle... The disappointment was equal to the stratospheric bill that we paid without asking for dessert. Avoid if youre looking for a decent meal that fulfills its advertised promise. The service from start to finish was perfect. I would have given the waitress a 7/5 if that had been possible. Dinner was excellent. The filet mignon melts in your mouth. The sauces are just wow. We loved it! Really a restaurant to try without hesitation. A perfect dinner and evening for us.

First visit to this restaurant and I already feel that I am welcomed like a regular would be. I was able to have an aperitif before starting the services. Immediately, we notice that the branding plays on the fact that all the ingredients are Quebecois or self-produced, which adds a special experience to the meal. The reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is simply due to the fact that the 5-course menu changed the same day of our visit, so perhaps was not yet lurking enough. I am sure that over time adjustments will be made to provide a perfect experience for customers. As an example, the bone marrow was too salty, and this was the case for several other customers as well, so Im sure this will be corrected. Finally, for the wallet, you should count on around $200 per person to eat and drink well and enjoy the experience that this restaurant has to offer, so plan this budget accordingly. The service is impeccable. We have been served many times by Serge, he is an A1 server. The food is by far the best in town in addition to their ecological methods which make them the greenest restaurant in Canada, which is no small thing! Picked from the restaurants greenhouses, you cant find anything fresher even if you do it yourself. We have a mandate to return every season when the menu changes.

We enjoyed each of the services of the signature and pesco-veggie discovery menus that we were able to share. Beautiful restaurant downtown Granby. Never expected it. Come for the food, the wine, the decor, And stay for the Rizz, The phenomenal server who stole the show. Dietary restrictions: We had one person who has Celiac disease and she was perfectly accommodated.

The mushrooms as a starter were delicious and what can we say about the prime rib! The price, whether for the wines or the dishes, is also very reasonable in relation to the quality. Absolutely delicious! The atmosphere of a velvety and romantic lounge cigar. Both the seats at the table and at one of the 2 bars are filled with this comfortable and enveloping vibe . We first discovered this restaurant through the show Quand Benoit est là and had to come and taste this famous onion soup. Each dish was exceptional and tasty. Until the dessert which offered an explosion of flavors, straight from their own herb garden. The owner even showed us around it. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Its worth the cost.

For the price, the oysters should be of better quality. Those served were not very fleshy and several contained small pieces of shellfish. The elk tartare was faultless. The prime rib to share was excellent, superb quality, excellent cooking and a good quantity for 2 people. On the other hand, the vegetables that accompanied it were for the most part unpleasant to eat because their extremely charred taste made it seem like you were eating the embers themselves. Damage. The atmosphere and impeccable service.

This is by far the best restaurant I have visited in my entire life. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the service is impeccable and the food is incredible. I have never seen so many little touches in a restaurant. They even make their own pottery dishes. They cultivate their own garden. The owner is on site and very accessible. The atmosphere in this house is indescribable, you have to set foot there to understand. There are even small lounges upstairs. Réputation surfaite. Aucun effet « WoW » sur tous les plats proposés en deux tables d hôtes choisies, l une bio et l autre régulière. Le couple d inconnus à nos côtés s est plaint de leurs deux plats. Présentation des plats était faible, les goûts pas assez relevés, le service bien trop lent. Incredible, the first experience won us over to the highest degree. The flavored water was delicious. Garden and dryer on site providing guaranteed freshness. The lobster Caesar salad is the best Caesar salad we have eaten in our lives. Exquisite bacon. Choice of delicious ingredients to concoct our own drink recipe. Great desserts but a little too expensive. White wine ok. Very good tartare without downgrading what is done elsewhere. I highly recommend! Impeccable service.

Little hidden treasure in Granby. Great welcome, varied menu either à la carte or 3 or 5 course discovery menu in addition to a 3 tapas option with different themes. Very elaborate cocktail and wine menu just the way we like it. The Quebec wines section allows us to discover local wine by the glass. Ideal for pairing food and wine. Very courteous and professional service. They have their own rooftop gardens where the vegetables, herbs and lettuce they serve come from. 100% guaranteed freshness. Excellent value for money for such a refined and friendly establishment. They really pay attention to detail, they even offer you water infused with flowers and herbs from the garden to quench your thirst when you arrive. We feel very clearly that the concept behind this superb restaurant has been carefully thought out by true enthusiasts. 10/10

Discovery experience. The perfect place to share an intimate moment with people you love. We were two. We shared a vegetarian journey (three tapas around the world) as a starter , followed by a five-course menu. All separated by two. For me, it was a wise choice to really enjoy the experience and the diversity of flavors in the dishes. A BIG favorite for the plate of forest mushrooms. Serge at the service, he is a warm master. Water with herbal essence, the garden, natural wines, music it s truly a passionate concern for quality. Its one of the best meals Ive had the chance to share. Sincerely, thank you. One of the best restaurants I have visited. Everything is local (they even make their own plates). The prices are reasonable for the portions and especially the quality of the food. The favorite remains the onion soup. Bottles of wine start at $60 but still plenty of choice from Quebec. The service is incredible, we were taken on a tour of the roof where they grow the herbs.

Very nice place with a nice selection of wine served by the owner, ours was excellent but unavailable at the SAQ (a private import no doubt). We received a beautiful plate with a slightly modest portion I must say but very good and well presented by the chef.

4.7/ 5 good food tender octopus and super good perfect flank steak, chocolate dessert would benefit from being tempered for maximum creaminess attentive service Well done!!

My 6th time here and my experience was nowhere near as satisfying as the first time. What was the most disappointing was the change in menu. The choices were limited with absolutely no fish on the menu at all. The cheese and cold cut platter which was amazing and what I was looking forward to as an entree was removed from the menu as well. I was told that the menu will change according to the seasons and to what is available locally which is fine but as long as the choices remain limited as they are I don t think I will be returning. I chose the grilled cheese cake for dessert and I have to say that it was no where near a cheese cake and not refined at all for the type of restaurant Maison Boire is reputed to be. I ate everything I ordered because I was hungry and all was very tasty but it does t make up for how disappointing this experience was compared to all the other times. The staff was pleasant and the service was great as usual but my dinner left so much to be desired. Sorry guys:(

Fine cuisine, just dont be in a hurry

If you love a cozy, elegant (but not boring) decor youll love the black lacquered ceiling, the gorgeous bar, tables are not too squeezed together so you can have a somewhat intimate dinner. Our server Geneviève was the best: shes professional, attentive and has a smart bubbly personality. A delight! The wine list is thought-out (a must, thank you very much) and the menu farm to table-ish with a focus on seasonal vegetables.

Discovered on Instagram, we decided to drive 1 hour to try this restaurant. In a beautiful little old house from 1923, very well renovated, is this restaurant with eco-responsible cuisine. Their charcoal cooking is very artistic and tries to awaken all our senses! Very nice welcome as soon as you entered and lots of choice of places given that it was a long weekend. To our great happiness since we did not have a reservation. We chose to sit on the terrace, balcony level. We took three starters; Foie Gras Torchon - $24, Lamb Tartare - 20 and Nagano Pork Ribs - $16. Everything was really excellent, but the ribs really stood out, too bad they dont make them as a main course. We serve you an appetizer while you wait for your dish. Nice wine list. The service, from Serge, was perfect, without any shortage. The wine service was at the right speed. I hate it when someone refills my glass after every sip. The music, jazz, blues and old rock, was just perfect and we finished our meal with a Ginko infusion - $6. It shares very well between two people. We serve you a little treat at the end of your meal. We ate very well and enjoyed our evening. It is certain that we will drive an hour to get back there. You will be charmed!

Bought Tuango 70$ per person. Waiter was pushing us to go faster for next service, no-one even showered up after us no reservations. We asked about a 28$ local wine, the waiter suggested a Bordeaux - at bill time the wine was 67$,we had 2 bottles. Telling us about the price difference would have been courteous at the very least. The bavette was at best average, and the only available choice on our 3 choice menu. We needed a magnifying glass to find the dessert, so very small. Final cost 374$ for 4 people. Rude staff, average foof, awful experience. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
